31 for 31 2021 Day 20 Movie: The Funhouse(1981) Right out of the gate on this one, Tobe Hooper gives a gracious nod to both John Carpenter and Alfred Hitchcock. So far so good! The movie follows a group of teenagers that plan on spending the night in the funhouse of the traveling circus that is in town, despite the warnings from their parents. So these teenagers are smoking the Marijuanas and pissing off all kinds of carnie folk. Milling around the carnival is a creepy character in a Frankenstein’s monster mask. What’s his deal? Does he have two faces under there and an appetite for murder?
