Trying to figure out how exactly the country-north-of-vaugaurde could be inexplicably cold (not to mess with ur hc or canada idea, I absolutely love that, I’m just doing this for fun and to feed into the bit). I’m researching rn.

If you didn’t know, there’s this GIANT sinkhole in the ocean called the Great Blue Hole, about 125 meters deep. I’ve heard that when you go over it, the temperature has an intense and immediate drop.

It wouldn’t make ANY sense, but like. Imagine for me if you will. Canada the tropical island surrounded on all sides by a >100 meter deep trench that is so bitterly cold it somehow summons snow.
