A Very Merry Christmas Indeed

Summary: She and Natalie both like each other. Like a lot. Yet neither one of them seems to notice it. The rest of the gang decides to do something about it.

She wasn't usually the type of person who had a large friend group. She liked to keep to herself and only ever had a couple close friends in her circle. So it was a massive lifestyle shock when the other Legends welcomed her with open arms when she joined the Apex Games. It was great, for the most part. After adapting to the new social lifestyle, it was wonderful. Everyone was nice, there wasn't a dull moment when they were all together, and it was easy to flow into conversation. Plus it was also great having the ability to just go next door if you got the sudden urge to hang out with someone.

"So, what are you getting Nat for Christmas this year?" Makoa wiggled his eyebrows at her. Her face heated up as she tried to roll her eyes in feigned casualness.

"Yeeeah!" drawled Elliott. "What are you gonna get Nat?" he teased.

And then there were downsides to constantly being surrounded by friends. Once they caught on to something, it spread like wildfire to everyone else until you were the center of the jokes and teasing. Nothing was ever secret, nothing was ever personal, and you were always the butt of the conversation.

"It's a surprise." she merely replied.

Natalie Paquette was very easily the best person in the friend group to hang around with; she was incredibly caring, a great listener, and can cheer you up with the snap of her fingers. Not to mention she was so god damn adorable that it hurt. She wasn't quite sure when she started crushing on the blonde scientist, but by the time she realized she was, everyone else did too. Everyone else except for Natalie. And then the teasing started and it hadn't stopped.

"Are you gonna dress up for her?" Anita questioned with a grin on her face, making her own face heat up even more.

"No!" she huffed back.

"Come on, ya gotta get her something special. Tell her how much you like her! No better time than Christmas." Ajay suggested.

"Nat is a friend! That's it!"

"She's more than a friend to ya. Ya like her. We all know ya like her. So just do somethin about it already."

"I'm not gonna sabotage a friendship just to entertain you guys." she rolled her eyes once again.

"You're not sabotaging anything. She like you." Makoa said.

"Yeah!" agreed Elliott. "I mean, you two are so blind. I don't know how you haven't realized you like each other."

"Maybe because we're just friends, and you're seeing things that aren't there."

"What if we helped you!" Elliott cheerfully exclaimed. Immediately, her eyes went wide and she jumped out of her seat at him.

"No! Don't you dare!" she threatened. "Elliott Rodger Witt, if you do anything I will shave your head!"

"Okay okay!" he held his hands up in surrender. "Calm down, I'm not gonna do anything."

"Good." she sighed. "I appreciate your concern, guys, but please just stay out of it, okay?" she asked. Everyone mumbled their agreement to her in disappointed synchronization. "Good. Now, if you'll excuse me, I gotta go wrap up my present so I can give it to her later."

She promptly made her was out of the room, disappearing from sight. Once she was gone, the others all looked to each other with a knowing twinkle in their eyes.

"We're going to get them together, right?" Anita asked what everyone else was thinking.

"Oh, definitely." Ajay replied.

"I've got an idea!" said Elliott, and then huddled everyone together so he could share his plan.

The Christmas Party was starting soon. She had her Christmas Dinner contribution ready at her fingertips, and Natalie's present was all neatly wrapped up in snowman wrapping paper. It was an electromagnetic radiation thingamajig. Honestly she had no idea what it did, and it took her like 3 months of internet searching key terms to figure out what the hell Natalie even said she wanted. She thinks she got the right thing, and she hoped Nat would love it.

She headed down to the lounge. Most of the others were already there: some setting up decorations, others getting the table lined with their food dishes, and of course there was a Christmas tree surrounded by presents that Ajay was organizing. She set her food dish down on the table, allowing Elliott and Renee to take it and get it situation. Then she headed over to Ajay and set her present down.

"Is that for Nat?" the medic grinned.

"Yes. Be careful with it. Cost me a shit ton to have it shipped here."

"Relax relax." the red-head soothed. "I won't break it. Promise. What'dya get her?"

"Some sort of electrical testing kit. Or something. I don't know anything about science. For all I know, it could be a bomb." she said sheepishly.

"Well, whatever it is, I'm sure she'll love it. Here, I'll put it next to her present for ya." she grabbed the gift from her hands and placed it next to a small box in red wrapping paper and a gold bow on top. Her heart skipped a beat.

"She... she got me a gift?" she blushed.

"Well, yeah. Duh." Ajay chuckled.

"Is she here?" she asked, trying to casually look around the room. She didn't see the blonde when she walked in.

"She's in the bathroom. Ya should go wait for her. She put on her best dress for ya." Ajay winked playfully.

She tried to get her heart under control. Ajay's teasing wasn't helping, and now she got to thinking of what Nat could be wearing. Nat always looked cute not matter what, but dresses definitely flattered her the most. She has a beautiful baby blue number that hugged her curves nicely and brought out the color of her eyes. She really liked that dress, but could never think straight whenever she saw the blonde wearing it. Is that what she was wearing tonight?

No. When Natalie stepped out of the bathroom, she saw it wasn't the baby blue dress at all. Instead, it was a green puff-sleeved lace dress, accompanied by red jewelry and a poinsettia in her hair to get into the Christmas spirit. She had to swallow her hear that was creeping up in her throat.

"You look great, Nat!" she called out, approaching the woman.

Natalie smiled and gave her a tight hug. She smelled really good. Must be a new perfume or body lotion, because she was unable to recognize the scent.

"Merci! You do too! Oh I'm so excited! Tonight is going to be très magnifique!"

"I hope so. I've never been to a Christmas party."

"It will be!" she assured. "We'll eat dinner, drink drinks, open gifts. It will be fun!"

"Do you do this every year?"

"Oui. We're all family. Some of us only have this." Natalie responded, turning a bit solemn. She was thinking about her dad. She did that a lot.

She gently brought the blonde in for a hug, consoling her so she didn't cry. Nat held it together, reciprocating the hug with gratitude.

"No sad thoughts today! Today is for happiness only. Suis-moi," Nat grabbed her hand. "help me put up the Christmas ornaments!"

Nat pulled her along to the tree. She took the box of decorations from Bloodhound to pull out some ornaments- nothing special, just your typical glass balls on a hook, and a strand or two of tinsel. Nat, being the shorter one of the two of them, handed her the smaller ornaments to be hung on the top branches of the tree. She teased the blonde woman about her height, making Nat giggle and playfully fight back.

"Elliott calls me 'fun-sized'."

"I heard my name!" sang Elliott, walking over to them.

"We're just laughing about your fly being down." she said. Elliott's face tightened and he panicked. He hid himself against the wall as he looked to his pants zipper.

"Hey! My fly isn't down!"

"No, but you fell for it."

"Ha ha, very funny. Can you girls do me a quick favor?"

"Oui! What can we help with?"

"I left the champagne at my place. Can you go quickly grab it? Dinner's almost ready."

"Sure."

"Here's my key. It's in the kitchen." Elliott handed them his key card and sent them off.

She and Nat made their way to the elevators and headed up to his floor. Leave it to Elliott to forget his own contribution. But at least it was only drinks. If he had been in charge of an actual food dish, no doubt he wouldn't forgotten to cook it. As promised, a couple bottles of champagne were sitting on his island. Both women grabbed a bottle each and went back down to the lounge.

Suspiciously, the door was closed and locked. She rattled the door handle to no luck. Then she knocked on the door.

"Why would they lock us out?" Natalie questioned with a quirk in her eyebrow.

"No idea." She knocked again, this time the door opening easily. "Okay, why was the door locked?" she asked the group who were all huddled together and smiling at them.

"Oh, would you look at that. What is that on the ceiling?" Elliott theatrically asked, pointing above the women's heads. Both she and Nat looked up to see a mistletoe hanging above them.

"Guys!" she gritted through her teeth, realizing she had been set up.

"Now what could that possibly be doing there?" Anita followed Elliott's lead.

"I can't believe you guys! After you promised!" she cried out.

"Do they want us to kiss?" Natalie innocently asked, looking up at her and tilting her head.

"They set us up, Nat." she replied, trying desperately to hide the blush that was tinting her cheeks. "They're just playing a joke-"

She was cut off by the blonde throwing her arms around her shoulders and pressing her lips against hers in a deep kiss. Her eyes went wide, caught completely off guard at what was happening. No way this was happening. Absolutely no way. Natalie didn't hesitate to push her tongue into her mouth. And her brain was going haywire. She could taste the flavored lip gloss Nat wore. And she finally pinpointed the scent of her perfume -berries. It was berries.

She finally kissed back. She allowed her own tongue to swipe against hers as they stood in the center of the doorway, embraced in each other. Her arms went to go wrap around Natalie's waist, holding her close as she savored the moment she's dreamed of since they first met. Her lips were soft, and her body was warm. The dress she wore was silky on her fingertips.

"Okay okay. I think that's enough." she heard Renee suddenly speak up.

"If they start having sex-"

"Okay! We're done!" she pulled away from Natalie to prevent Octavio from finishing his sentence.

"Dinner time!" said Anita.

Everyone gathered at the table. Elliott took the champagne from the women and began pouring and passing out drinks. A spot was saved for her and Natalie right next to each other. As the different dishes of food were being passed around the table, Natalie reached down to lace their fingers together.

She blushed even harder as she looked down to their hands hands interlocked, but she didn't pull away. She gave their hands a squeeze.

"Merry Christmas." Natalie leaned over and whispered.

"Merry Christmas."

Was remaking an electric type gym leader oc ( Hoenn) and I strayed from the path and made her gorgeous. I mean she was before, but like. Look at her. I wanted to give her green hair but the picrew only had pastels so alas. She looks good as a blonde though.

An old affair: Jack Chambers:

Clinks of wine glasses, pops of champagne bottles and the chatter and laughter of the dining room was a typical treat for the Chambers. This was Alice and Susan's time to don their best evening dresses and jewelry and a time for Roger and Jack to suit up in their best tuxedos, accessorized with customed watches.

Two glasses of wine, one glass of iced tea with lemon and another of cola. The appetizers had arrived along with everyone's ideas for dinner time chatter. Alice went on about how Bunny had asked her to spend a weekend together in the Netherlands for a girl's trip. Alice expected Jack to show some apprehension, to protest his wife leaving all the domestic work and the child rearing for the weekend for himself alone- not that he didn't enjoy it, but that it was a handful already for the couple alone, Jack only imagined how it was when he was solo in running through the house chasing Roger to get him to take a bath.

Roger's giggles filled the house at every corner. Meanwhile, Jack had swore he put his back out grabbing the ankles of his kiddie, wrestling him out from under the bed. By the time bedtime had arrived, Jack had little energy to fight with Roger about how many stories should be read. So, he read six of them before passing out on the couch for an hour before dragging his body up to his room at one in the morning.

But instead, Jack just admired his wife. Her dainty, delicate neck that donned a gold necklace that matched her fancy ruby gold ring. Her blonde hair tussled to the side to highlight the dangling rose colored earring with gold trimming around them. Her wrist reached for her wine glass, sipping lightly and elegantly like a poise mannequin or ancient painting that abstracted the impression of everything a woman should represent. And Alice was exactly that. Jack pressed a gentle peck to her cheek, not able to resist the air of laud that suffocated him.

"Jack?" His head shot up to a tall sandy brunette headed woman with the most bewitching eyes. Her tight fitted maroon dress hugged her slender curves and arched legs that seemed to cup perfectly together without one pinch of imperfection. In the eyes of young Roger, this woman had walked right off a magazine cover. Her smile widened to show her pearly straight teeth, "Jack Chambers, is that you?" Jack could feel his wife's body stiffen.

This woman ran closer, now standing above their table, "Jack, it's me, Sandra. Remember, from Manhattan?" Her accent rang between an ounce of Brooklyn mixed with a European blend. What the man didn't expect was for this woman to throw her arms around him with such a quickness. She held him like this for a few minutes, making Jack's cheeks flustered and sweaty and Alice's jaw clench and her knuckles turn a boney white.

Jack cleared his throat, scanned the table and introduced Sandra. "Oh, is this your family? They're lovely!" Alice's pinched tight smile yet glaring eyes didn't seem to rattle Sandra....in fact she upped her introduction. "I used to see Jack around the corridors in University- remember that, Jack? Oh, he was Mr. Wattson's favorite student...so smart and funny. He knew how to make all the girl's go for him- there was one girl, May, remember her Jack? You and her-"

"Oh yeah, she was my science partner while we were learning about mechanical techniques." Jack's throat felt white and dry. He knew May, very well and wanted to one day be someone he could forget about.

"Yeah...It was nice seeing you, Sandra." Jack wanted this woman away from the table as soon as he could get her. Alice was a quiet woman with an active mind. Of course, she knew Jack was faithful, she just hated Sandra. Everything about her: her body, her thick hair cut into this shoulder length curly and her walk that seemed to make men stare every time she passed them with her behind jiggling more than it should've.

But she was gone now. She was polite, but insolent. Impudent, coming over and flaunting herself like that in front of another woman's children. "Jack, who was she?" Alice's eyes held gripe and resentment that bubbled and brimmed through her stare like cold ice to warm skin.

"She was a classmate back in Manhattan when I was in college. We knew each other from one of my friends, Daniel, I think." The peppy relaxing dinner was now full of tension and bubbling internal angst. Alice's tense silence was evident when her fork would stab her plate a little harder than normal. The screech and scrape jotted through Roger's ears like nails on a chalkboard. It made him cringe with every bite from his fork from his mother's hostility that she took out on her plate.

The car ride home was quiet, yet Susan and Roger's glances and looks to each other spoke loudly about what everyone had witnessed at the table. Alice stared blankly out her window, looking banal at all the speeding cars that whizzed past their car. The lights of streetlights and front porch hues, flickered off her irises, radiating a blue, then gray and then hazel shimmer off them. "How was dinner kids?" Jack's eyes still locked on the road; desperate to saw the thick heave of ice that wavered in the car. "It was really good!" Roger allowed Susan to speak for the both of them. Jack understood... Susan being the oldest knew how to assert a sense of reassurance that coupled for the both of them.

The minute Jack pulled into their driveway, Alice stepped out with the kids and asked them to enjoy Tv time downstairs before she dragged Jack up to their room.

"I wasn't looking her up and down, Alice! I wasn't looking at her at all! I wanted her to leave!" Alice sighed; rubbing her feet from the heels that she set aside her and adjusting her seating on the bed bench. "Well, everyone else was looking at her.... her throwing herself at you in front of our children. Disgusting!" She scoffed, "And why did she have to bring up May? Dumb slut-"

"Alice!" Alice looked down, cheeks flushed and fevering. Her mouth suddenly became dry and achy. Her eyes tried to brim with pity tears, but she quickly swiped them away like a gnat had landed on her. She didn't want Jack to see her pitiful jealousness, to her it was a weak insecurity and a slash to her collectedness.

"Baby?" Jack's voice so soft and warm, like a teddy bear. He was a teddy bear to Alice. So full of understanding and love...... she looked into his eyes with tears in her own. She raised her hands before sniffling away her angst. Alice let her blonde locks tickle her cheeks as she shot her head down to floor. Her hair was a curtain to cover the shameful guilt that leered into her like poison. And it was poison.

But.... a feeling of a large finger had pulled her hair to reveal her soft face. Then.... it wiped away a straying tear that strolled down across her left cheek.

"Jack.... who was she anyway? Beyond Daniel, I mean." Jack bit his lip before turning to Alice's green eyes. "A mutual friend from my friend, Daniel, at the time-" "Jack.... she hugged you and was very friendly with you than you were with her.... she's more than a mutual friend." "An ex... we had a small thing in college, but that was it! And besides, I broke it off because I found out she had cheated on me with this other guy- James Willings-"

Jack had disliked that guy a lot in college, flashing his expensive cars and watches- buying the woman he went with rings like broken promises were cheap.

"Your ex girlfriend?" Jack nodded. Alice put a hand to the bridge of her nose, "Jack, why didn't you tell me this before?" "Because, since the relationship- if you can call it that- was so short, I didn't think it would be relevant."

Alice stared at her nails, peeling off the artificial parts, "Did you ever kiss her? Or touch her?" Jack sat beside Alice. He took her chin into his palm, "We barely looked at each other, our relationship lasted two weeks at best. Promise." Alice smiled slightly, "I'm sorry babe. I shouldn't have kept that from you. I wanted to tell you at the table, but I didn't want the kids to know." Alice threw her arms around Jack's neck.

"I'm sorry too Jack. I know you didn't mean any harm. I love you,"

"I love you too honey."

Jack kissed Alice's cheek before pressing his forehead against hers. He looked into those lush kitten eyes that he fell for the day he met them. He saw future in them.... his future. No one else's but Alice's.

And only Alice's.

Season's Eatings

Christmas was always one of my favorite holidays, but even more so for my little brother, Everett. He's an absolute Christmas nut, having become obsessed with the holiday. He sings all the songs that the humans do around this time of year with a friend of his, a little French dragon named Wattson. He's a good kid, and the pair are rather inseparable.

Though, this little holiday tale isn't about the two little dragons. Ever heard the saying that "Christmas is about giving"? That's the little moral of this story. After all, the greatest gifts are the ones that wind up on your doorstep.

Our home, whether you'd like to call it Dragonland, or the Alterlands, which is the proper name...but it's separated into sectors. That's how the tribes are separated and such. In our sector, which is called Kulia Forest, we have a...lovely section that I named myself!

Bandit's Run.

The name is more literal than you think. Bandits, thieving humans love to scour own home for ancient treasures. This isn't particularly common during the winter, but...I think you can tell where I'm going with this.

One particular human so far has escaped me. The only exception, he was armed and I had Everett with me at the time, so he's just lucky. Though, you can only imagine the look on my face when an enemy I loathed appeared right on our doorstep...

The season's about giving. Thanks for giving yourself up to me. I pounced forward, latching onto his shoulders with my claws, pinning him down in the snow. He yells, instinctively, struggling against my grip and such. He manages to reach into his pocket, dammit. He still has his gun. My adversary managed to aim at me, clenching his hand around the grip and trigger.

He shoots.

The bullet...misses. What a shame. He curses, right as I wrestle the firearm out of his hands. Here comes the fun part. I smirk voraciously as I open my maw, quick to shove him inside. His screams turn muffled as he enters my mouth, sliding towards the back of my maw, down my throat. My esophagus bloats with his form, sinking down the abyss that was myself. I swallow him in one go, relishing in my prey's frantic kicking and shoving as he travels to my stomach.

My belly expands a bit, and I can already feel the wriggling too. What a treat. I stand smug over my prey, before being caught off guard by a lone voice. One too familiar, but the situation alone is enough to send a chill down my spine. I don't spook easily.

"Sis? Are you alright?" My little brother calls me, walking to the front door to meet me there. I stand up, turning back to see him. His gaze was soft and thoughtless, such an innocent being. I laugh softly, approaching him. "Yes, little one. It's Christmas, you shouldn't be awake this early...did the noise wake you?" I ask, enveloping his little being. I wrap my tail around him, lifting the little dragonet up with ease. Shutting the cold out, the door closes behind us once we're both inside. I navigate the dark room to find our couch, bringing Everett along with me. All the while, my prey is fighting me from within, and I just hope he doesn't notice. We lay down together, almost cuddling.

Everett nestles into my fur without a word. He sighs, closing his eyes. Perhaps he's too disoriented to take in the fact that I've devoured someone, and my belly is a noisy mess. I shake my head. Even if he does know, it doesn't particularly matter. I lean forward, nuzzling him with my snout.

"Merry Christmas."

I'm looking forward to what I'll have planned in the coming year of 2024 too. i was heavily into cryptage until the season 20 launch and tae liking elliott felt really natural to me. now im struggling hard even imagining it knowing that hes canonically in love and its not elliott. suddenly his annoyed behavior just feels annoyed, no longer flustered, and the relationship he has with elliott doesnt feel light-hearted anymore just sorta hostile idk the whole confirmation of his romantic interest in someone else erased my perception that was built on the s3 trailer and their (what i interpreted as) flirting. i cant seem to do anything about it, it's just gone it's all gone and respawn visibly disliking cryptage makes me feel guilty it feels like we're not supposed to ship it in the first place

IM SO SORRY FOR THIS ACCIDENTAL DISSERTATION:

tldr: i fully understand you, however, putting too much stock in canon / wishing your ship become canon causes a lot of stress. Canon is not the end all be all, and frankly i think canon kills my interest in ships the fastest. Using canon to make stuff you actually like will always be more fun and better for mental health!!! <3

OKay . so . i COMPLETELY understand where you're coming from, I think of all games with such a robust cast, this one has so many potentials. S3 trailer ignited my love for them, and the way they navigated each other (from Cryp0 bending Mirage's arm back in self defense, to then Crypto saving him by pulling him off the train) I am so blessed to have my expectations Very early on be set, knowing that the early writers had absolutely no intent to make Mirage and Crypto romantic.

From that trailer i took really important things about their character, but i felt like i KNEW the intent, and the intent Never felt flirty or even romantic to me. I knew i could spin it that way, i knew i loved their dynamic when viewed through that heart shaped lens! But I never ever assumed that's where their stories led. and because if that i was never let down. I have no idea how to heal from the canon vs not canon stuff, it can feel like a betrayal, and i totally get the guilt. BUT canon and your personal interpretation dont have to match. Like at all. As long as, you know, noones being a total asshole about it. On Crypto being annoyed:

My favorite thing about mirage. is that. he is in fact SO ANNOYING. hes is mouthy and so jokey, and cocky, and insecure. Meeting him in real life would be a cHALLENGE LMAO. So crypto's line sounding more and more annoyed is genuinely so real of him. He has a short fuse, and gets annoyed easily with EVERYONE (source: his impatient crafting lines, his getting into ring lines, etc.) Crypto is so particular about his time and personal space, i think his annoyance lines are TOP TIER with Mirage, even if they edge into mean territory ( I mean mirage literally calls him "paranoid weirdo", makes light of his mannerisms) . Because its just his character, hes not a people person, while mirage IS! The fanon becomes so fun when you start to imagine HOW they could make that work! On Making Lemonade:

Crypto getting a love interest i dont see as a negative at all, because matching canon is not interesting to me. I am in the minority here i know. Something i love about canon is that it tells you things about your fav character that you can go off of!!! Crypto and wattson having a rapport, even Mila hinting that she thinks Crypto has a crush on her- THIS IS GOLD, FOR YOUR FAVVY CHARACTERS. This tells me that YEAH even if he had a crush, even if its, like killing him inside - HE IS NOT THE FIRST CONFESSOR, He will NEver say a WORD. That is characteristic no. 1 you can put in your arsenal. Like that is so TASTEY. he'd rather go his whole life yearning than confess. SO GOOD, DELICIOUS. Point no 2. He still puts his mission to find and save Mila above things like romance. I think that's so interesting, like, he has this intense mental block to letting himself indulge!

NOW: how to use that info, is up to you! Think about crypto dying of Crush on Mirage, only for mirage to "turn the charm up to 11" for the cameras. Great anguish, Tae Joon. Alternatively, making crypto confess to mirage hints that he MUST have really been dYING. Its only added to my imagination of them ^^

THE BEST PART ABOUT MAKING FAN CONTENT. IS PLAYING WITH THE CHARACTERS LIKE BARBIES!!! The second best part is finding pieces of canon to support your barbie playdate. On Canon Writing:

I will say, i feel like i can sense that the writers are only human in regards to how crypto and mirage appear together lately; Their last interactions being mirage distraught that Crypto wasnt RSVP-ing to his party, only for Crypto to show up the second he knew about said party (AND ASK FOR SOME BUMPIN MUSIC, SO CUTE). They are obviously a dynamic they break out when they need some fun pair to play up (an appropriate) story.

But the writers are just human. When the fandom as a whole picks up a ship you never intended, misinterpreting their words; i can see purposefully writing them shallowly, taking away some dimension- because they have this other story to tell. I think its very regular-person of them to be like "Oh theyre looking at this wrong let me make it clear!". I will go on record saying i don think they "visibly dislike" cryptage, it feels more like there's a bit of railroading of their current plotline, and some side flavor of people interacting is lost lately. That does make me sad, i think- at the very least- they have a great rivals to friends dynamic. And in my eyes there's always room for romance somewhere in there (or a fwb situation :3d ) I'd love to see more of their interactions, however, they have A LOT to go off of. Between the s3 trailer, their lines, the mirage forgot about his party, the UGLY OVERTIME COMIC.

Theres soooo much i can say about this, and them in particular, but i want to just say, PLEASE don't dispair. Theres still so much about them that still stands! Make your own stuff, don't wallow in canon, and most of all (and i say this so respectfully) Try to distance your happiness from 'winning canon'. Its a losing battle. a ship should be more of a hobby than a career - it can alter your mental SO much unless you step back.

mudkip is one of the cutest starters EVER and choosing one in a gen 3 game is THE CORRECT CHOICE. i chose mudkip and i named her skipp and we quite literally single-handedly obliterated every single trainer battle, gym leader and the elite four + steven stone together. swampert has one of the best typings in the games ( water + ground ) so she only had ONE weakness and was IMMUNE to electricity 😭 poor wattson

i have two favs... the rowlet line (mainly decidueye) and lurantis!! i'll talk about decidueye first

pokémon sun was actually the first pokémon game i've ever played!! i really wish i played the earlier games sooner but i was more of a pokémon anime kid growing up... sigh... atleast now i've been playing more games <3

anyways decidueye!! rowlet was actually my first ever starter! i loved the beach ball owl so much! i don't remember much about my first couple of playthroughs of sun (i dont think i ever got to evolve my starter beyond a dartrix) but ever since i got into pokémon again and absorbed so much info into my brain i've concluded that decidueye is actually amazing

i LOVE archers. i LOVE owls. i LOVE characters with hoods/cloaks/capes. i HAD to love decidueye. plus it's typing ( grass / ghost ) is actually so cool?? it's just such a well designed and well thought-out pokémon

it's. literally. SO CUTE!! if a pokémon is cute enough to me i am GOING to like it automatically. additionally i love how it's based off of the real life orchid mantis!! irl orchid mantis' are basically pink mantis' that look like flowers, particularly orchids to hide themselves in plain view to ambush their prey. cool, right?

well, with lurantis, it's a pure grass type, not a bug type. the reason that is is because lurantis is actually a flower, particularly an orchid, that looks like a mantis, to fit in with other bug types since grass types are weak to bugs. i really love that!! i also just love lurantis' design in general🥺

even though gen 8 is my least favourite generation (i don't hate it, it's just that i love the others more) i do have a fav! while i do like pokémon such as dragapult, corviknight, frosmoth, grapploct, etc, centiskorch is 100% my favourite!! i love bugs in general and a fire centipede is honestly just super cool. it's design is awesome as heck and it's gigantamax form is one of my favourites, even though it just gets super long :3 also the name centiskorch is so cool

again. with. the. amazing! fire/ghost! typing! it works SO well with typhlosion somehow. hisuian typhlosion's design didn't change much from johtonian typhlosion's but it still slaps SO HARD. the darker purple works so well with the fire collar pattern it has arounds its neck and i love how they gave him eyeshadow!! just an amazing mon all around <3

D4DJ Voice Actor's and Headcanon Voice Actors.

This will be a little different than my usual VA headcanon posts because this will actually feature both canon AND headcanon VA's from this series.

The only instance where D4DJ has been dubbed in English is the first season of the anime, which primarily featured Happy Around, Peaky P-Key and Photon Maiden, and while the other units made cameos and had voiced scenes, they didn't really get the spotlight. So, I thought of a Mirage rework idea (Imagine it like Rev Reborn)

I would think this rework would be linked to a sort of "canon event" with Mirage, like (and I hate to say it) Mirage's mom dying, something to break him, where his whole "obnoxious guy" side fades. Some time where he'd push himself to ACTUALLY be the best.

New interactions

Ofc, something like that would make other legends react, like with Wattson's dad's death, where the legends went to see Wattson to make her feel better.

Wraith, Path, Rampart, and Crypto would empathise with him, Mirage would decline their kindness.

Example:

Wraith: Hey, Elliot. Look, I know it's tough what you're going through, but that no matter how tough it gets, you'll be able to cry on my shoulder. Mirage: Yeah, easy to say when you don't even know your damn parents! I bet you'd never cry if your mom died, because you don't remember her! Wraith: *Annoyed* Guess my voices were right to tell me not to help you out...

Valk, Loba, Wattson, Bloodhound, and Vantage would sympathise with him. Heart-to-heart with legends that were close to their families and lost em would hit Mirage harder, and he'd nearly cry to them. (The parrallels with Wattson and her dad and Mirage and his mom would make Wattson's heart-to-heart more effective)

Example:

Wattson: Écoute, I never knew my mother, but like how you helped when my papa passed, I'll be here for you, just tell me when you're ready to talk, mon ami. Mirage: *Chocking up* I... Y-Yeah, I'll tell you when I'm ready, but right now, we have a match to win. Wattson: Right, the match. But remember Elliot, you're not alone.

Rev would laugh and mock him, but Mirage would snap on him.

Example:

Revenant: *Maniacal laugh* How does it feel losing someone? Oh, wait, I'm a robot, I don't care. Mirage: Is that how it is, how does wanting to die feel when no one will let you? Clearly that upgrade didn't make you more dead, huh? Revenant: Careful what you say around the Murderbot, WITT. I have my own ways to make you meet your mom again.

Regular voice lines

The lines would be less "haha silly Mirage" and edgier.

Examples:

Intro: Let's get this over this. Bamboozle: Moron fell for it, let's make them pay. Revive: Quit dying, you're making us look bad Thanks: Thanks, I guess

Passive: Still stays as "Now you see me", but with two slight buffs:

Lasting Impression (Replacing the "Encore" perk): blinds opponent for 0.5 second, giving well co-ordinated teams an advantage. Still goes invis when downed.

Mirage revives are 25% quieter (Well simulated by Respawn's poor audio sys)

Tactical: Everything remains the same, even the bamboozle voice lines from decoys, a relic of better times.

Ultimate: Complete rework

New name: Hall of Mirrors

Mirage is invisible and runs at Wraith's phase speed

Firing will uncloak him only when he shoots

Psych out's cooldown is lowered (À la Season 6 Bloodhound)

I only write x reader fics, will do fem!reader and gn!reader (as I want my imagines to be genuine and harmless, I'd like to make space for male!reader writers who can do a much better job than me!) I won't write AUs, I mostly write fanon fics/fics based on episodes/trailers/in-game events etc. depending on the media!

So I think she had a husband, that left one way or another ( either he died or she divorced him) and she's been single ever since. Her relationship with Siebold is…. complicated. Edit: Glacia is no longer Siebold's mom, rather she's his aunt and legal guardian. They're relationship is still complicated, but there's a level of care here.

Drake - Not interested in relationships

Archie - after prison and a lot of therapy, I imagine he gets back with Maxie
