The embroidery I did last night I think I did pretty good for my first try to embroider something. Took four hours and my wrist still hurts a bunch.

Some sketches I did because I’m anxious and trying to get my mind off some issues I have to deal with tomorrow. Tired to draw bittersweet nightshade and a peony.

Turning my embroidery into a corset. This is my second time making a corset, but the first time I’m using boning. It’s not finished yet but it’s looking pretty good so far. Yes, my dress form is a mess and that is foam sheets duct taped to it to pad it out to my size, I’ve had it since middle school and am to cheap to buy a new one.

First little gif I’ve ever made only one I’ve ever completed either. Made it about two years? ago. I’ve always really liked the rain and wanted to make a little short gif of a girl twirling an umbrella in the rain.

An old watercolor painting I did of some grape hyacinths that grow in my parent’s front yard. They are mixed with the grass and my dad kills them every year. He kills the columbine, lily of the valley, and the bittersweet nightshade that grow in the back yard every year too. I get upset with him every year he mows them down without letting me remove them and put them in pots so that I can keep them. He never gives me a chance to get home from work or school and pot them. I think maybe he doesn’t want me to have the poisonous plants which is fair, I guess, but I’ve always played with poisonous plants since I was really little and I’m still alive so it’s fine. At my old house we had pokeweed and I used to dye stuff with the berries in elementary school, which you should not do, it is poisonous and can seep into your bloodstream from skin contact from any part of the plant, it probably won’t kill you but it won’t be fun. I never had any reactions, but that’s why I wear gardening gloves when I mess with plants I don’t know or ones I know are poisonous.

I guess I like to info dump when I’m tired and can’t sleep it’s like 4 in the morning for me.

First time sketching a Poinsettia, I wanted to draw something kinda festive since it’s Christmas. I ended up settling on a Poinsettia because I like drawing plants and I wanted to try my hand at it. It’s kinda messy because my wrist started to ache halfway through though.

I stress baked two key lime pies last night after I got off work. I’m glad my sister thought to make me food cause otherwise I probably wouldn’t have eaten yesterday at all, not that I ate a lot of it. But now I have two pies I guess.
