hehehe @druidshollow i have more i want to do but! a comic is gonna take me like forever considering i dont do them like ever so this is going here first.

little situation in my brain :imagine: i can imagine anything. watcher of painted skies (slugcat/scav!) (watcher) out on a mission to get his iterator, feathers from beyond, a micro rarefaction cell and gets stopped on the way back. not sure how he managed to not get stabbed already but hes not doing a good job of bartering...

i do want to draw feathers and the other iterator, encircled divinity, beaming, as well as the other protector companion slugcat, but that will come later....hopefully i will remember to tag if there is any interest o7 thank you for indulging me :]

ps the signs used by watcher are roughly based on asl, except for the obvious name sign and for cell :] its just fun to make up fantasy sign language for the scugs

Happy Audio Drama Sunday!! Short one for ya this week because time. Really got away from me. More explanation below. ANYWAY, audio drama!

🟥 Mayfair Watcher’s Society is consistently extremely spooky and acts on fascinating concepts with devastating effectiveness, but WOOF. This episode. There are no less than three twists and each of them hits like a train. Also, “cube boy” has entered my lexicon forever.

⛽️ @desertskiespodcast is back! A podcast about the afterlife could so easily fall into having these gentle low stakes plots, and honestly the setup lends itself to that—which is why I am continuously impressed at the show setting up and going through with character development for Mac and Tendy. Can’t wait to see what direction this season goes.

🍳 Elaine’s Cooking For The Soul is coming back!!! Y’all if you like audio dramas in the genre of “making our way through a hopeless apocalypse stubbornly and together, and also there’s food, this is the show for you. Honestly, as popular as Dungeon Meshi is on this here webbed site, Elaine should be popular too. Go check it out!

🚀 This week I started Ask Your Father, which is what I wish Interstellar was. It is half gentle slice-of-life story about a man and an AI trapped in space, answering his children’s questions from home, and half SPACE CONSPIRACY. I’m only a couple eps in but I’m looking forward to figuring out what the h*ck is going on.

I have the privilege on The Dead to work with incredible writers, but this next script we’re producing is written by Thee Jeremy Ellett of Two Flat Earthers Kidnap a Freemason and it is SO GOOD. It’s funny. It’s clever. It’s honest. Honestly jump on board now; our next story, Turas, also slaps.
