not only is donnie peridot-coded but he also would ABSOLUTELY kin the shit out of her from the moment he sees her. like cmon she is intended to be autistic. her complete lack of gem abilities, and donnie's aversion to mystic powers for the majority of the show (because he doesnt understand them!!). her feelings of physical inadequacy because she's short! he would get drawn in by the aura-farming and appeal of a more technologically-inclined character and then get hit with SHE JUST LIKE ME FR FUUCCKKKKK. i think before peridot is introduced he would relate the most to pearl though
