As far as Tetsuya Nomura's designs for Final Fantasy X-3 Tidus and Yuna are concerned (and I still hope Final Fantasy X-3 doesn't happen--unless what we know about it thus far gets a major overhaul--because the Final Fantasy X-2.5 novella and Final Fantasy X ~Will~ audio drama were so bad), I do think that it's sweet that Tidus kind of looks like Jecht now--to even moreso show that he really has forgiven his father (and really did love him, of course). And I don't mind Yuna with long hair. But I hate that they made her a Summoner again--and put her in an outfit that, (from what little we can see of it), looks reminiscent of her Summoner's garb from X: almost like they're trying to undo all of her development from X-2. Bah!

#and they seriously might be. they might be ashamed of it because so many people hate x-2. or maybe they've just come to regret things about #it themselves even without that #and listen: i know that even the most diehard x-2 fan surely won't deny its problems and that there is some disconnect between it in x #but there was definitely GOOD that x-2 did and ways that it developed yuna was some of that #and as someone who largely PREFERS x-2 yuna over x yuna (but of course still loves and appreciates x yuna and gets why she was the way she #was. and knows we wouldn't get this awesome x-2 yuna development without that starting point). don't you DARE try to retcon x-2 yuna!#an old topic. i know. but i'm in my ffx feelings again and felt the need to talk about it i guess #plus i drew long-haired yuna recently (and had to look at these drawings as a reference) so it made it somewhat relevant for me again #and somewhat recently se DID say they had the script for x-3 done just no team to make it... which scares me. unless they've massively #changed things. like i said above
