idk sometimes i also feel bad that i can't seem to like daenerys as much as other people do? like, she is universally beloved apparently (except by stannis stans) (i meant to say fans but omg stannis stans is such a funny phrase) (sup i'm STANNING) (shut up lui), but i am just kind of, "yeah daenerys is pretty great!" and then i go back to wailing about sannnnsaaaaaaaaa

and i think it's mostly because of how for most of her current narrative grrm has put her into the role of the white savior. she liberates the people of essos from their depraved and primitive ways!!!!!! and yeah, okay, we are shown that she is actually pretty shit at the whole thing, her presence is not a panacea, but it makes me so uncomfortable
