so this is my ilitw mc, who only becomes Tough as Nails™ when andy kang flirts with them:

i haven’t really had the time to develop em. all i know is that they are an altruist, motivated by protecting their friends, and loves animals almost as much as they love andy kang. probably pansexual because tbh ilitw mc is shippable with everyone. i just don’t have enough diamonds to date them all huhu. hit me up with that mc/dan angst tho

he’s sensible, decisive and keeps a cool head most of the time, making him a good leader. an extraverted over-achiever, he’s part of a lot of organizations in hartfeld (i actually hc that he’s student council president as well as co-president of the debate club!) 

eli thinks a lot about how other people perceive him and tries to make sure that he’s on good terms with everyone (lol @ that relationship point system) some may see it as him playing politics, but he genuinely does want to befriend those he meets

i mostly ship him with sean since i hc that he had a huge crush on sean before landing on la huerta, but he’s v shippable with a lot of people HAHA. other favs are diego, yvonne (aka his “bi awakening”), craig, jake, michelle, quinn and estela.

which is funny because he can’t?? flirt for shit?? he calls jake, “hotness” for god’s sake HAHA. he’s also prone to getting easily flustered. it’s fairly common for hartfeld students to see sean gayle passing by and the class prez blushing, promptly clinging to diego and rambling about how sean’s smile “is like sunshine after the rain” or some shit like that HAHA

*backstory time!! he lost his left leg in a car accident that also took the lives of his parents and twin brother. endless summer book 2 spoilers, but i planned this backstory for him eons ago, but if def explains why he, as the endless, was so determined to save the gang, no matter what the cost. it’s because eli couldn’t risk losing everyone again. although he did lose another limb :’)))
