Berwick-upon-Tweed, England:  This was my first stop in a “non-tourist” town.  I loved the calm, quiet, homey, and serene energy by the bridge river walk and along the barracks history walk overlooking the ocean, churches, golf course. bridge, and graveyard.  So peaceful, cleansing, and grounding within these areas of Berwick-upon-Tweed.  <3
History: Berwick-upon-Tweed dates back to the 10th century and changed hands between England and Scots at least 13 times until the peace treaty in 1639.  Things maybe peaceful today, but Berwick has a dramatic history caught on the frontline of battles, rebellions, wars and skirmishes.
Royal Boarder Bridge: I feel in love with this stunning strong bridge which was built between 1847-1850 and still transports trains, people, and cargo today.
