Scenario: you stop by a quaint neighborhood bar (also serves nonalcoholic things) during the Feast of the Rose, the establishment belonging to the Laconic Captain, Samuel. It's very likely the Preoccupied Professor, Orsinio, may also be in attendance. There's rarely a quiet night in this place, where humans and nonhumans from all backgrounds mingle.

In the ask, send me a description of your oc/their most important traits. Tell me if you prefer a friendly handshake, kiss on the hand, hug, kiss on the cheek, or none of the above. Let me know if your character would be more likely to order spirits, tea, or hot cocoa.

Like I'm at this huge goth festival rn and my goth friends when I told them were quite jealous but truly all I can say about it is like. The market I was supposed to go to this weekend has a working trebuchet and really you cannot compete with that

I have been reading about the Wheel of Year's festivals, and I got caught by the idea of one of Yule's activities being about creating straw decorations in the form of goats! And so this design was born 💝 Happy holidays!!!

You know how, we, as a site, have pretty much adopted so many Christian and Jewish holidays and post stuff about them when they come around? It’s  Hanukkah again. Quick, post the guy on the stripper pole playing ‘Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel’ on the clarinet! Can we start that with other religions? I know this site isn’t all just Christian or Jewish. Where are the Hindus? The Muslims? The Buddhists? Share your holidays with us! 

For example, Holi is just right around the corner. Many of us non-Hindus don’t know about this awesome holiday. My fellow, non-Hindus, here’s a National Geographic video on the holiday. 

How cool is that? Seriously, it looks like such a fun celebration. The world is an amazing and wonderous place. I want to know all of the holidays out there. I would love if we could all appreciate each other’s religions. 

What is a holiday in your religion that you would love to share because you think it is amazing? I want to know. I want everyone to know.

i want to write a sockett christmas fic but before i do i Need the writers to give me an in-depth explanation of crockett's relationship with zoroastrianism. would he be willing to celebrate christmas if the person he was in a relationship with did? we know he'll do the whole christmas sweater/christmas party thing, so he obviously isn't opposed to doing some christmassy things. but like. i consider myself more culturally christian than anything else (celebrate christmas + easter bc my family do, and it's what I've always done, but don't believe in the religion) and is that how crockett feels about zoroastrianism? i need to know these things

Knowing that OP is a VBS fan, I am quite surprised they’re even tweeting this. If you are truly a fan, you do realize that they do have fun from time to time, outside of surpassing RAD Weekend, right?

Plus. Even if their events are focused on almost, solely on their goal and it becoming their prime reason of their story, why will it bother you when apart of that, they wanted their voices and music to be heard as well. They learned that in the most unimaginable, painful hard way possible.

If you wanted them to have fun, singing is fun for them. They have said this countless of times in the game, something that is not hard to grasp.

They went to the forest? They ended up singing on the way back home. The first New Years event? They played with the Virtual Singers and have the desire to practice and sing after that. The second New Years event? They were invited to perform and sing. And made sure to have fun as well. The first wedding mixed event?

They ended up wanting to sing.

If that is still not enough, VBS literally have day offs. The area conversations, the side stories within their cards have them spending time together going to the arcade, occasionally hang out with others apart from their team members and at one time, went to a cafe together to simply relax. And in all those things, music will always be their no.1 in their thoughts.

They genuinely really love singing. They’re not just practicing, sacrificing their time and youth away, they’re also exploring the joyfulness of singing their lungs out, igniting their love, their passion for music. Making tracks and learning new ways to make their music resonate. VBS is all about music.

All those? Their friendship gradually become stronger as they experienced all of that together. Since when did their events ever not focus on them talking to each other, their likes and dislikes, their opinions, their feelings and such? They can have fun and also work hard in achieving their goal.

Every unit works differently, VBS is one of them.
