Finished an LP of Disco Elysium and now im having Thoughts about my oc verse again
Mainly everything to do with the Pale and how I want my thing to lean into that
#im honestly leaning into straight up calling it the paling#and have a side effect of exposure be. literally colour drains out of the world along with feeling everything desaturates a little#basicslly i just want to write about this fuckin extra planar antimatter thats like#if you put the pale the void the fade the upside down and the concept of cosmic horror into a blender and then made it radioactive#is it origional? god no. compels me tho#also i just really latched on to this idea of alot of those kinda concepts#yknow eldritch parralel dimension of unimaginable horrors#do sort of have this naming convention of....loss. absense. draining.#want to write about this force thats so hungry for the essence of a living world that it starts draining all the colour out of it#colour also beimg connected to emotion ofc in the vein of The Void#thats The Void the game not The Void the concept from Warcraft#alsthough that isnalso relevant. are ylu taking notes you should be taking notes#sfhshsh anyway yeah#im very frustrated lately bc i feel like im decent at world building and chstacterisation and such#but have zero ability to string it into a godamn story
