something very bizarre about how, to some people, a feminist narrative is one where misogyny doesn't exist
#thinking abt this one infuriating english lit class in college where for whatever reason we were talking abt#myth/fairytale retellings or reimaginings or whatever#i wont go into it but MAN was that shit annoying#how some people want to take misogynistic stories and instead of like. addressing and interrogating that misogyny#want to rewrite it jnto a narrative where misogyny doesnt exist and what looks like misogyny is innocent or justified or whatever#i just do not get that impulse at all.
