AYEEE its LATE lets cause MORE DELAYS

it was snowing on the day the class clown asked you to meet him after school

you’d never really spoken to the one and only ong seongwoo before that day

but that doesn���t mean you didn’t know who he was

there wasn’t a single person who didn’t know seongwoo

he was that kid who always made jokes about stuff in class

the loud laugh that you could hear whenever someone accidentally said ‘do do’

and yes, you had a crush on him

despite how jokey he was, he’d always hold the door open for people

and if you stayed late and he was there, he’d walk you home even though he lived in the opposite direction

he was just…very kind

and that hidden kindness really made you fall for him

even if he did make you cringe half the time during class

it was the last day before the end of semester

and you sat down in your seat and got out your books when seongwoo came in and sat down in his seat beside you

he smiled over at you and passed you a small folded note

as the teacher started to ,, teach the lesson you unfolded it

written on the paper were only 4 word which made your heart race

“meet me after school.”

one small issue

there was no meeting place?

you went through the rest of your day, rarely taking your mind off of the note

of course you spilled the beans to your friends at lunch break

while your friends were all getting over-excited about this you looked over the cafeteria and locked eyes with seongwoo, who seemed to motion with his hands for you to go outside

you stepped out in the snow and you cursed the fact that you left your jacket with your bag inside with your friends

but seongwoo appeared seconds later with a smile on his face as he took off his jacket and wrapped it around your shoulders

“Y/n… i’m rescheduling our meeting to now…”

“Uh okay sure, what did you want to meet me for?”

Seongwoo’s face brightened at this as he pulled his phone out of his pocket, motioning for you to get out yours too

he giggled at this and took your hand in his, walking with you back to the cafeteria

needless to say your friends screeched when they saw you appear in the cafeteria holding hands with seongwoo and wearing his coat

i enjoyed writing this!! and its out (kind of) on time!! and it wasn’t written when i was half asleep lmao ORIGINALLY this idea was a minki scenario but... i changed it made it festive and now its JINYOUNG ++ its kind of short because?? how to make literally ONE scene long idk

SO christmas time rolled around as it does every year

and because you’d moved out… you ended up having to take the PLANE home to see your parents at christmas

and airports are a hassle, but even more of a hassle at christmas

when you finally took your seat on the plane you were so glad

all the going through baggage controle and stuff had really drained your energy

now you just had to get through your 12 hour flight

you’d managed to get speedy boarding so you were one of the first on the plane

so you took your seat in the middle of the row, put your suitcase overhead, and got out a book to read

other people had started to file onto the plane when you felt a soft tap on your shoulder

“hey... i think you’re in my seat?”

you pulled out your headphones and looked up to where the voice came from

and the owner of the voice was a ;; really cute boy lol

he smiled widely at you as you looked a bit confused and fumbled around to find your ticket

when you found it you realised he was right, your ticket was actually the window seat

you mumbled an apology to him and moved along a seat

as he flopped down into the seat next to you (his hair flopped too) he turned to you with a smile, offering his hand out for you to shake

“i’m jinyoung, nice to meet you”

you smiled back and placed your hand in his and shook it

“i’m y/n. what brings you here?”

he giggled a bit at the question and put his hands in his lap

“Going home to visit my parents for christmas, haha. What about you?”

“Same here.”

the conversation died down a bit as the plane started to get ready to take off

you went back to reading your book, putting one headphone back in

as the plane got to the runway and started to speed up, you noticed jinyoung seemed a little unsettled

“Are you scared of flying?”

you turned to him with a smile on your face and he looked completely shocked

“No no!! Not at all!! I just don’t like take offs!!”

you smiled a bit at this and offered your hand to him

“Squeeze my hand when you get scared.”

he nodded and placed his hand in yours

and you noticed his hands were really soft and warm sdhfsd

as the plane took off he did squeeze your hand

REALLY HARD

so hard that when he finally let go of your hand you had to rub it to get the circulation back

“Oh my god, y/n!! I’m so sorry i didn’t mean to squeeze that hard-”

“Jinyoung it’s fine, i offered my hand so i have to take the consequences”

he frowned a bit at this but pulled a book out of his bag and started to read it, so you went back to your own book

not long after, the hostesses came along and offered hot drinks cold drinks basically everything

and uh… you really wanted a hot chocolate because… still hadn’t recovered from the cold outside

when the hostess got to your row, both you and jinyoung ordered and you leant down to get your money out of your bag but jinyoung stopped you as you reached down

“I’ll pay, as a thank you for helping me through that take off”

you smiled a thank you to him and leant back in your seat, taking the hot chocolate off the hostess

when jinyoung had got his coffee off of the hostess you turned to him and smiled again

“Thank you for paying for me, you really didn’t have to-”

“I basically cut off the blood supply to your fingers, it’s the least i could do”

you both laughed at his comment, and you relaxed back in your seat, sipping your hot chocolate

almost as soon as you finished your hot chocolate you felt the tiredness set in

you pulled out your neck pillow from your back and put it around your neck, and laid back to go to sleep

as you drifted off you heard jinyoung giggle slightly and mumble “goodnight y/n!!”

but you couldn’t reply because you were already asleep

when you woke up someone was poking your cheek lightly, and you were leaning on someones shoulder

you came to your senses quickly and shot up, almost headbutting jinyoung

“Was i leaning on you all this time?? I’m so sorry-”

“It’s no problem!!”

he giggled and picked up his bag from the footwell

“But y/n, we’re here now. Time to get off the plane”

your first thought was damn okay slept a long time but then you remembered

after this you’d literally never see jinyoung again??

you collected your stuff together, with the help of jinyoung

he passed your suitcase down from the compartment to you and you left the plane together

it was already empty because of how long it took you to wake up lol

you made your way to passport control with jinyoung, both of you almost in complete silence

when you reached it, there was a massive queue so… you queued together

as you neared the front, jinyoung turned to you and smiled

“y/n, i want to see you again, but not on a plane this time.”

JUST THAT SECOND YOU WERE CALLED FORWARD

you cursed fate as you went over and showed your passport to the officer who let you through

luckily jinyoung WASNT a fugitive and followed straight after you

you nodded at him again, waving goodbye as he ran off into the distance to collect his luggage

later that day when you were in the taxi to your parents house, driving through the snow, you received that very text he promised to send

ITS HERE ITS ACTOR PARK JIHOON MAKING AN APPEARANCE

when your friends signed you up to be one of the leads in your college’s christmas play, you were massively annoyed

yeah sure you were a dance major but like a plAY IS A WHOLE DIFFERENT THING

that whole thing changed when you met park jihoon

he was playing the other lead in the play and honestly

he made it bearable

it wasn’t that the play was bad it was just that it was your first time being in a christmas play

the play wasn’t exactly the most romantic but it was about being nice at christmas,, a bit like a christmas carol?? and it was kind of a comedy at the same time??

like you were playing someone who didn’t believe in the christmas spirit,,, because you got dumped on christmas day lol

and jihoon’s role was like the ghost of christmas past present and future except not a ghost

and he would teach you how to be nice at christmas and the true christmas spirit and you two would end up falling in love

there was a kiss scene at the end but,,,

jihoon requested on your behalf that it be cut because hey it’s your first play he doesn’t expect you to go the full kiss with him hehe

the play was going to be on for 4 nights running, the last night being christmas eve because hey make it more christmassy

you’d practiced it together over 2 months and in that time you and jihoon had gotten really close like;; he even let you save his contact name as “pig baby” without slapping your ass

you had some sort of instant connection from the moment you two met and during practice you two were inseparable

and jihoon personally would coach you on how to perfect facial expressions for certain lines because,,, this was not his first play lol

and that personal coaching really ended up paying off

because

the first three nights went really well

Jihoon was really encouraging and if you ever forgot your lines he’d cover for you in less than a heartbeat he was really talented

and he forgot one of his lines on the third night near the end,, the bit when you both realise you’re in love

oops your CHARACTERS i mean ;)

and you helped him cover his stuttering by softly slipping your hand in his

and you could see a bright pink blush spread across his cheeks

now either he was an AMAZING actor and could blush on command

or he was having a little crush on you

but lets be honest the feelings were totally mutual

Jihoon was,, really kind

although in practice if you forgot your lines he’d lightly roast you

but even so he’d help you cover them up without a second thought

and it was that which made you,, have a crush on him

so when the last night came you were dreading saying goodbye

jihoon was in none of your classes normally so;; it was unlikely you’d ever see him again

it was snowing really heavily that night which lead to everyone in the cast bursting into white christmas before going on the stage

except jihoon who seemed kind of,, flustered

you brushed it off as just being stage fright and went to take your place onstage

as you started to perform you noticed that

although the play had sold out today there weren’t many people here

probably because of the snow and ice y’know

but you kept performing and it went;;; super duper well!!

up until the last scene that is

again it was the scene where you two revealed your love

maybe it was the fact that you were worried about the low number of people in the audience

or maybe it was because of your reAL BAD CRUSH ON JIHOON

but you went blank on your last lines

you looked over at him to ;; hint to him that ;; you did not remember your lines

he looked right back at you and winked

“I think that I may have fallen in love with a scrooge…”

he spoke softly and immediately you recognised the line

it was from the original script, with the kiss, that got edited out because of your request

jihoon turned to face you and smiled softly at you before leaning in to press his lips against yours, just like how the play was meant to go

cheers and woops came from the crowd, and one of your friends audibly said

“Wait… i came last night and this was not the ending uhh????????”

this made you laugh and jihoon laughed with you, pulling away before taking your hand in his and bowing with you

he kept your hand in his and as soon as you two got off stage he took you to his dressing room and turned to face you

“y/n, i have loved spending all this time with you and I want to spend even more time with you… as more than friends… what do you say?”

the soft blush from the 3rd performance when you took hold of his hand spread over his cheeks again and you smiled

YES I LOV MINHYUN AND I LOVE THIS its late because i had a party annnnnnd didn’t finish this before i left so had to delay

you knew minhyun since the day you started working at your company

he was your boss’s right hand man and he always walked around the office smiling and waving at each of your coworkers

he was the first to introduce himself on your first day

but after that you two…never really talked

he was always busy, but he managed to do the same routine that he did with all of your coworkers

the usual

“Hey, y/n, hows your pet this week” or some oddly specific thing like that

because he seemed to be very good at memorising details about peoples lives

sometimes when it was just you two working overtime he’d drop you a coffee but that was usually… your only interaction

but just like the vast majority of your office, you were crushing hard on minhyun

he just moved really elegantly?? And was so nice and kind but also like… jokey at the same time??

plus he was stunningly beautiful

like basically significant other goals

when christmas comes around, you two and two of your other coworkers are nominated to be the designated drivers

minhyun... doesn’t mind this he can’t handle drink anyway

but honestly?? you were glad because the way this year was going if you got even remotely drunk you would end up confessing to minhyun

the party came around too fast honestly before you’d even got an outfit

but you were glad it was on a saturday night because

last minute you requested to not be a designated driver

you decided that, with a bit of dutch courage, you’d try and ,, advance your relationship with minhyun to more than just buying each other a coffee from the machine and asking how each others pets were

and you were moved into minhyun’s designated driver group so basically,, you were going to be dropped home by minhyun

which would be great if you also weren’t dropped home by 3 of your drunk coworkers at the same time

ANYWAY so the day of the party came

and you wore the smartest clothes you had,, when minhyun came to pick you up

instead of doing the usual tooting the horn to let you know he’s outside he actually,, came to your apartment door and rang the doorbell

you locked up quickly and rushed down to meet him

of course you blushed at the compliment because

OH my god did he look like a god??

he was wearing what looked like a really expensive suit with a silk shirt underneath you were basically about to have a nosebleed

he then got in himself and started to drive to pick up your other coworkers

you were confused by this question because lmao you had not a single clue where he lived

a slightly awkward silence filled the air of his car as you two though about what to say to each other

but they were also completely drunk

you looked over at minhyun and laughed because he had a really sour look on his face that was one you totally had never seen before

and it was really cute

when they finally removed their hand he turned to look back at you and laughed with you

before long you both arrived at the venue and

you seemed to be glued to each others sides

your coworkers would come and try to steal him away from you because hey who doesnt want a piece of minhyun

but for some reason best known to himself he stuck next to you

when you wandered off to get food he followed close behind you and got food too

the one place he didn’t follow you to was the bar, where you ordered a vodka and coke and went to sit down at one of the tables

minhyun followed you to sit there shortly after, putting his own soft drink down on the table and stretching his legs out

the small tinsel christmas tree in the centre of the table twinkled softly and the lights reflected in minhyuns eyes making them look…. even more beautiful

“I’m never very good at talking to drunk people and most people here seem to be drunk already… so i think i’ll stick with you for the rest of tonight”

you questioned his reasoning a bit but you weren’t about to say no to spending the party with minhyun so you just continued sipping your drink

“I realise we’ve never really spoken properly, y/n… i guess i should ask you why you joined the company?”

you shrugged a little at the sudden question but answered it truthfully

“It was what i wanted to do and… it was one of the few companies hiring for the job i wanted so I applied here… what about you?”

minhyun smiled at your answered and sipped on his juice

“I’m friends with the CEO… you could say i’ve been here from pretty much the start”

the conversation seemed to dry up a little again and in a moment of courage you downed your drink and turned to face him properly

Lmao im sorry i didnt post this at 12 gmt because i got back home late from the hospital so i couldnt write;;; but!! ever since you left home you lived in an apartment complex near the middle of the city

you knew everyone there; daniel and his cats, jaehwan and his laugh, ong and the weird thing he did with his ears

but your favourite neighbour had to be sungwoon

he’d always be doing something… weird… like singing karaoke at 3am

but if you were awake he’d drop you a text and invite you over

he was so fun to be around that yes!!! you ended up having a crush on him

so when christmas time came around you planned to confess to him on christmas day or something shdjfs

but when you opened your door on the 15th of september, at 10am, a present was outside

a note on it read “open this now!! don’t wait until christmas day!!”

you picked it up and took it back into your apartment

when you opened it, inside was a packet of doritos

attached to the doritos was another note

“Read this in tune please;;; on the first day of christmas i gave to my true love… a packet of doritos… love from your secret admirer”

genuinely... what does this mean

you decided you’d put the doritos to use because hey who turns down free doritos?? so you invited sungwoon over to play videogames

when he saw the doritos on your kitchen counter he started smiling like a complete idiot

tbh you just put it down to him liking doritos so you gave him the whole packet

and then you sat down to play MARIOKART UHHH YES

while he chose the next map you finished the packet of doritos

“Sungwoon,, i have a secret admirer!??”

sungwoon burst out laughing and you smacked him on the shoulder like lmao rude?

“how do you know that, y/n???”

you pointed over at the empty box that once held the doritos and sungwoon smirked, pressing to start the next game

you didn’t have a chance to question him further because you focused on winning the games lmao (which you did well done)

not long after you finish playing games, and sungwoon went back to his apartment, you laid down on your sofa and contemplated who the hell was your secret admirer

of course you hoped it was sungwoon but… although he was weird would he really give you doritos as a present??

while you racked your brain you ended up… falling asleep

the next day you were woken up by your doorbell at exactly 10am

you just moved to turn over but ended up falling off the sofa lmao

when you finally got to the door after about 10 minutes trying to get off the floor

there was yet another box in front of your door

you brought it inside again and set it down on your table and left to go to work

when you got back sungwoon was riGHT OUTSIDE YOUR DOOR

when you appeared behind him he turned around and smiled widely at you

“Oh hey y/n, i came to see if you got another present today??”

“uh... yeah. I haven’t opened it yet so you can come and open it with me if you want?”

Sungwoon shook his head and went back into his own flat

you were confused to say the least but you went inside your flat and headed straight for the box

inside were 2 packets of instant noodles… and more doritos?

“on the second day of christmas i gave to my true love 2 ramen cups and a packet of doritos! Love from your secret admirer”

ok. Now you really want to know who this is

first doritos and now ramen cups? You weren’t about to deny that you were going to use the instant noodles but like what kind of presents are these they aren’t even like one dollar

so you made a plan

the ‘secret admirer’ seemed to be coming at 10am, or at least they did on the last 2 days

so all you had to do was open the door at 10am and bam, you’d catch them in the act lol

you set about 1000 alarms to make you wake up because well tomorrow was your day off

and you planned to lie in wait, looking out through the like eye hole thing of your door until the secret admirer appeared

to be honest you slept through the first like 5 alarms

but when 10am rolled around you were in your place, you saw something completely unexpected

a wild sungwoon appeared and placed an open box in front of you door, chucked a packet of doritos in and 2 packets of ramen… and then got in it himself??

as soon as he closed the box you swung the door open and opened the box

“SUNGWOON WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN THAT BOX??”

“Listen i can’t afford to buy you a packet of doritos, 2 packets of ramen AND more stuff for 11 whole days i wanted to get it over and done with”

while he’s splurting all this out you’re just trying to comprehend what this means like okay uh

is sungwoon… the weird secret admirer????

“so... on the third day of christmas, i gave to my true love… myself???”

christmas with your boyfriend daniel was going amazingly at the start

he’d bought you exACTLY what you wanted

probably because you dropped hints every 5 seconds buT ANYWAY

your parents were coming over to your shared apartment for christmas

aka you and daniel had to cook…

tbh you bought ready cooked stuff to save time

but the thing you were really looking forward to was making cookies

the recipe had been in your family for years and you really wanted to make it with daniel to like;; start a new tradition

so you both got started with making the cookies

they were simple, not too difficult to make and the ingredients were easy to find and you were 99.9% sure you had all of them in your cupboard

that was until you were almost done and daniel turned around

“y/n… there’s no madagascan vanilla extract…”

CUE PANIC

within seconds you two were in the car to the nearest shop in desperate hope that one would be open and sold vanilla extract

because hey what’s christmas without christmas cookies this is IMPORTANT

the first shop you went to was shut

as were all of them

by this point, it was only an hour until your parents were going to arrive and you thanked god that you had bought pre-prepared food

and you were at least half an hour from your apartment now

Daniel pulled to the side of the road and pulled out his phone, mumbling something into it before hanging up and starting to drive again

“Daniel what was that about???”

“I had an idea. We can finish making the cookies!!”

after 10 minutes of confusion as to where the hell you were going, you pulled up outside a house and Daniel started to press the horn

you turned to look towards the house and you spotted a disheveled looking jisung come running out of the house towards you with a bottle in his hands

“Daniel i told you to come to the door i’m in the middle of eating please- oh hi y/n! Merry christmas!”

Daniel took the bottle off of jisung and placed it in the car’s cup holder before waving goodbye to jisung and driving off

“Did we seriously just borrow jisung’s vanilla extract… was that your amazing idea?”

“Yes,, why?”

“No comment.”

with 20 minutes to spare you arrived back at your apartment and finished off the cookies while also putting the other stuff in the oven to heat up

just as the doorbell went off the cookies were done and you breathed a sigh of relief as daniel got them out of the oven and you greeted your parents

before you knew it the day was over and you were saying goodbye to your parents and relaxing on the sofa with daniel watching a christmas film

as the credits went up you turned to daniel who was looking right back at you

“Are you sure you’re not Santa?”

“y/n what do you mean?? Are you calling me fat??”

“NO i just mean… today you gave me everything i wanted. You have to either be santa or the best boyfriend in the world..?”

“Hm… I’m pretty sure I’m the best boyfriend in the world…”

he smiled and leaned over to press his lips against yours but stopped before they could touch

“but im also pretty sure jisung’s got to be the best friend in the world because of that vanilla extract…”

you both giggled at his comment and leaned back

“Thank you so much for the best christmas ever, Daniel.”

ever since you moved into your apartment you’d been close to your neighbour, jaehwan

it all started one night at gone midnight

you heard some weird ass laughter coming from the flat next to yours

you’d only just moved in so you hadn’t yet introduced yourself to everyone but

you really wanted to know what the hell was going on

so you did the logical thing and went round and knocked

the person who the laughter was obviously coming from opened the door, stILL LAUGHING

he stopped laughing when he saw you because lmao who are you

“Hello, i’m your neighbour y/n”

he was a bit taken aback by… a neighbour introducing themselves at… gone midnight

“Uh, hi, I’m jaehwan”

suddenly someone appeared behind him who did not look nearly as amused as jaehwan sounded

“Hi, i’m minhyun. Sorry about jaehwan’s laugh he gets a bit over excited whenever he beats me at mariokart…”

at this comment jaehwan turned around to fight minhyun but stopped and turned back around

“Do you want to join in?”

from that moment onwards you two were closer than close

and minhyun was also your new bestie because hey they’re a package deal???

but at some point while you were beating both of them at mariokart you realised

you liked jaehwan… as more than just a friend

even though his laugh was annoying sometimes you had the most fun when you two teamed up (on team mode on mariokart of course…) and THRASHED minhyun

but minhyun wasn’t mad he could see love was blossoming on the 15th floor of the apartment block

before long it was winter

of course you helped jaehwan put up his christmas decorations

while minhyun stood around like a mom

and cleaned up after you two

and stopped you two fighting over where the baubles should go on the tree lmaooo

one day you were coming home from your job

when you spotted jaehwan was also,, going home

you ran up behind him to try and scare him and yeah he overreacted its jaehwan what do you expect

but he laughed it off and held the door open for you to enter your apartment block

as you waited for the lift you made,,, small talk

“So… how was your day at work, y/n?”

“Uh it was good how was yours?”

“Yeah mine was good too…”

the lift arrived just as your conversation dried out like wow great timing

but what was inside the lift was even worse than your dead conversation

hung up in there was a sprig of mistletoe

UH OH

you both looked at each other in complete shock but

you weren’t about to walk 15 floors worth of stairs…

so you both got into the elevator in complete silence

as the lift went higher and higher so did the awkwardness

as you passed the 10th floor jaehwan turned to you

“y/n…”

you looked up at him in response and that was when he leant towards you

and pressed his lips against yours

just then the doors opened at the 15th floor

and you could hear minhyuns voice

“Jaehwan you said you’d be back 10 minutes ago i’ve been waiting ages- OH”

jaehwan noticed and pulled away, rubbing the back of his neck while you were still like completely shocked

but minhyun laughed at you two being all awkward and love-struck

“i put that mistletoe up there lovebirds!”
