First piece of a 2-drawing set which I'm planning to draw for Wanderer's birthday! uwu This is more of a meme/chill drawing and tomorrow I'll post something a little more serieus where I'll actually draw their proper outfits too. xD
The ears/tail are just part of Lumine's imagination btw, that's why I drew them a little transparent like that. I hope it gets the message across!
Boy only wants to eat his chazuke when Lumi feeds it to him. uwu

Genre : Fluff, Canon X Reader, Albedo X Reader, Arataki Itto X Reader, Scaramouche X Reader, Kinich X Reader, GN!Reader, Separate
POV : Second Person
Warnings: Not many! Just a few minor curses here and there. One mention; Itto calls you wife once. Otherwise, entirely GN. Also, mentioned height difference when it comes to Scara; you’re shorter than him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Albedo ~
You groaned internally. He was rambling again. He had a nice voice, sure, but you just… Weren’t feeling well.
“Bedo,” you called. He didn’t hear you. “Bedo,” you repeated, louder. He still didn’t hear. You sighed and pushed yourself off the table, careful not to knock any of the glass vials over. His coat hung off your shoulders, and you carefully pulled it back up before walking to him.
“Albedo.” Your voice had gone deadpan. He still wasn’t paying attention. And so, abruptly, you kissed him.
“So… Those two would go toge-”
He dropped whatever he was holding, the (empty) glass clattering to the floor. Miraculously, it didn’t break. Albedo paused entirely, bright blue eyes flickering down to you before he gave into the soft feeling of your lips. He was the one to pull away. “…uh… you needed me?”
Tumblr media
Itto ~
You grinned from your spot on the grass. Watching Itto (try to) train before getting bored distracted by the kids running amok and going to play with them instead was stupidly funny. Currently, he was feigning a failure. The children were playing hide and seek. And Itto was standing right next to one of them. And pretending he couldn’t see them at all.
“Oh, this-… Ugh! Where could they have gone?” He pondered aloud, grinning. Sharp fangs glinted in the light as he abruptly grabbed the squirming kid from behind a barrel. “Oh. That’s where.” He lightly poked her before setting her down, watching her run off.
“Itto, we gotta go,” you called out. But your boyfriend didn’t hear you. You smirked. You knew exactly what to do. So, you crouched down and hid.
“…who’s next…and-! Wait where’d they go-”
He noticed. And immediately, he went around, carefully taking the kids’ from their hiding places. “Alright, kiddos, we had fun, but I really gotta get going my wife’s disappeared-” He explained, almost too quickly for the young ones to understand. But, they went around, trying to help him find you.
“Over here!” A young boy called out, pointing at where you were. You crawled out and crossed over to your boyfriend. He just sighed lightly. “Don’t do that again.” “Maybe listen next time, and I won’t.” You stuck your tongue out at him.
Tumblr media
Scaramouche ~
Both of you were particularly quiet. Like he said, “It’s rather pathetic to force a conversation just to occupy silence”. So, most of your time was spent in silence, just enjoying each other’s presence.
You were completely silent as you chewed on the lotus crisps he’d made. For who… Well, for what his past was, he was a decently good cook. He was entirely focused on the ingredients, humming something of a soft song.
“Scara?” You spoke up after swallowing. He didn’t respond. You frowned. “Scara…?” You repeated. He still didn’t answer. You sighed softly and got off the stool, walking to him. “Scara…” You carefully touched his arm. He glanced at you, but didn’t speak. Without saying a word, he pulled you closer, in front of him. Caged in by his arms in something like a hug; he was busy chopping up whatever was in front of him, sure, but you were begging for his attention. And even someone as strong-willed as him couldn’t resist.
He didn’t speak. Just held you close, his chin resting atop your head.
Tumblr media
Kinich ~
“Ajaw. Shut up, you damned dragon.” Kinich hissed. He was pissed off with the thing, at this point. “Ichi,” you murmured. Ajaw kept bickering, complaining, just being annoying. Kinich waved him away. He didn’t feel well today, and Ajaw wasn’t helping.
“Ichi, love,” you repeated, frowning. He didn’t hear you. Ajaw was drowning you out. “Ajaw. Can you stop, please? Just for a sec.” “No, Kinich’s sick, which means he might die soon-!” The dragon cackled, much to Kinich’s annoyance.
“Go. Away.” Kinich swatted at the pixels. Ajaw just laughed and kept eagerly waiting, making small sounds of excitement. “Ichi?” You finally started, once the room was quiet. “Hm.” Good. There was his attention.
“Uh-… Your food’s done.”

in honor of the 10 months anniversary of my first ever drabble i never posted, i present to you: my first ever drabble i never posted. yippee
cw: femdom, malesub, both are afab, mentions of sa, overall fluffy playful smut. it’s scrlm btw <3
also this takes place after scara’s story quest. people were headcanoning he’d join us in our travels so yeah<3
here goes nothing
As the flames danced, their shadows cast wide on the ground. Lumine yawned, feeling settled in the familiarity of the campsite. Her traveling companion was always full of surprises, and tonight was no exception. He had requested a sleeping bag in their shared tent, much to her disbelief. “What? Just because I don’t need to doesn’t mean I can’t,” he had said, grinning mischievously. Lumine had rolled her eyes but couldn’t help but smile at his antics.
The two had lit a bonfire and were sitting close to one another, quietly and secretly enjoying the warmth and company of each other’s presence.
Lumine subconsciously stared at her companion. She couldn’t help but notice the way the wanderer winced imperceptibly as the weight of his body pressed against an apparently sore muscle. Lumine saw the way he stood up and straightened his back, only to wince once again as he sat back down. It was clear to her that he was in pain, and it was clear that this was something he was used to, but she still frowned.
“Are you hurt?” She carefully asked, slightly tilting her head to the side.
The wanderer shook his head, not even looking at her. “It’s nothing worth mentioning.”
The traveler sighed. We’ve been traveling companions for a while now, and he still isn’t opening up. Sure, he should take his time, but he has no reason to not trust me after what we’ve done to protect each other…
“You know,” she started in a sweet voice, staring at the dancing flames, “it’s pretty normal to get hurt, or even just have a sore back, when you do nothing but wander around and fight monsters all day. Just let me help you.”
He shook his head again, but his voice had softened. “I don’t… need healing.”
Lumine decided not to ask if that was just another way to say no or he actually didn’t need any healing as a puppet.
“But you’re in pain”, Lumine insisted. “You won’t let me heal you, so at least let me cook you some food, give you a massage or something.”
“A massage?” At the wanderer’s seemingly disgusted frown, Lumine only nodded. “But why?”
“It’ll help your muscles relax”, she responded with a smile.
He rolled his eyes. Though he was doing his best to appear indifferent, he was curious about what she would do. He stared at her hands for a couple seconds, wondering if it would have been that bad to have those soft fingers touching his skin.
“Fine then. Do your worst.”
Oh, he just had to make it into a challenge, didn’t he?
She smiled a bit widely this time. She felt like this could help them get closer. She already considered him an ally, but she wanted him to acknowledge that; to see for himself what it meant to have a companion to place his trust in.
He took off his kimono and pulled down the top part of his bodysuit. His pale rosy skin looked soft, and as perfect as a doll’s. Looking a bit more carefully, Lumine couldn’t help but notice five fading rounded scars on the center of his back. The one in the middle was bigger than the others, and those were undoubtedly the marks his puppet strings had left.
“So? Are you gonna do something, or—”
He freezed upon feeling her warm hand trace up his spine.
“Mnnh…”
“Good?”
He bit his lip. “Shut it.”
“You’re tense. Are you always like this, or…” She stopped herself, her attention being caught by something else. A small symbol on the highest part of his back. It didn’t look like a scar, it was more like a birthmark. She let her curiosity get the better of her and slid her thumb over the mark, softly. “What’s this?” She asked simultaneously.
Tingly waves of pure electricity shot through his body, running straight to his crotch, and the wanderer couldn’t prevent a soft moan of sheer pleasure from escaping his slightly parted lips.
Lumine stopped her thumb immediately. “Did I hurt you?” She asked with urgency.
“What? No. Of course not. I’m not that fragile.”
Encouraged, the traveler pressed a bit harder on the spot. Her thumb drew slow circles along the mark, until…
“Ahn… please…”
Lumine made a surprised sound, golden eyes widening.
The red-faced wanderer hastened to clarify, “That… slipped out.”
But she had already stopped. “Please what, though? Are you sure this isn’t an uncomfortable place for you to—”
“Shut up, it wasn’t a please stop.”
“Then what was it?”
“It was nothing.”
She only let out a chuckle. She really wanted to be friends (or maybe even more) with him, but right now she couldn’t resist teasing him. “Maybe you find this arousing,” she suggested with a shrug. “This one is probably a sweet spot of yours, am I right?” The wanderer parted his lips to speak, but her thumb found itself on the birthmark again and he had to close them shut to suppress the noise he felt bubbling up his throat. “It’s really pretty, though. It’s a mitsudomoe, right? Very pretty…”
The wanderer could barely focus on her praise, completely absorbed by the feeling of Lumine tracing circles around such a sensitive part of his body.
Until she realized this could probably not help his sore back. Much to the wanderer’s disappointment, she went back to massaging his back, and yes— that helped a lot, but it just didn’t feel as good.
It was pretty relaxing, though. Lumine’s touch was delicate, careful. It was completely new to him.
Maybe being in the traveler’s company wasn’t that bad.
: : :
He looked so… serene in his sleep. He looked like nothing in the world could ever disturb his slumber. Why wasn’t he always like this? The traveler could only wonder why he didn’t sleep more often, since it made him so calm and peaceful. Maybe if he had slept like this every night he wouldn’t have been so short tempered.
Most of his clothes were lying forgotten in an angle of their tent, neatly folded.
She didn’t even realize she was staring at him, his tiny, immobile sleeping figure, his pink synthetical lips that were just barely pressing against each other, his relaxed brows, his smooth and perfect skin… yes, nothing could ever disturb his slumber…
“Mmgh… hah…” The puppet’s eyebrows started to furrow, and his body began to tremble ever so slightly. The traveler let out a sigh. Oh, she should have expected him to have nightmares. The wanderer was muttering something incomprehensible, so she got a bit closer, trying to make out what he was saying.
“D-don’t…”
Oh, here it comes. What will it be?
Lumine touched his shoulder, trying to wake him from his presumed nightmare.
Will it be… “don’t hurt me”? “Don’t betray me”? “Don’t abandon me”? “Don’t—”
“Don’t stop…”
Her eyes widened. If only she looked down a bit lower, a quick glance at the bottom of his tight bodysuit would have been enough to tell just how soaked wet he was.
In fact, at some point, during her attempts at waking him up, she somehow noticed the dark spot of wetness between his legs.
A subtle smirk crept onto the golden haired traveler’s face.
He looked so irresistible, and she couldn’t stop staring. She even forgot she was trying to wake him up.
The wanderer’s squirming and tossing around only increased in frequency, finally awaking him.
He blinked once. Twice.
“Were you having a dream?” Lumine enquired innocently.
“Not your business…” he replied, looking away so that she couldn’t see his cheeks turning a light shade of pink. “How could you tell…?” He quickly added as soon as he realized he could have said or done something in his sleep.
“Call it intuition or whatever.” She shrugged. “It’s not hard to tell if someone’s dreaming if they keep making noise. Was it a bad dream? Or was it about what we discussed earlier?”
He shuddered, rolling onto his side. “Not. Your. Business.”
“I’m assuming it was?” The traveler challenged.
“I said it’s not your business.” The wanderer responded.
“How about you tell me—” He cut her off.
“How about you go to sleep and leave me alone?”
The traveler couldn’t help but chuckle at his defensive aggressivity. “Fine, fine. Goodnight Kuni.”
He didn’t say anything in response.
Lumine ignored him back and wrapped a warm blanket around herself, facing the other way. Not even a minute had passed when the wanderer softly called out to her.
“What is it?”
“Can we… share that?” He was pointing at the blanket.
“Are you sure? You don’t look like you’re cold.”
“Shut up.”
She was right, actually. She always was. He was feeling as hot as he didn’t recall ever feeling, but for some reason he wanted Lumine to be close to him, and sharing a blanket was the only way he considered. There was no way he would explicitly ask her to come closer.
She sat up, scooted closer and pulled the blanket onto him. “Sleep well.” No response again.
She lied back down, on her side, facing away from him.
The wanderer was glad she couldn’t see him squeezing his legs together and rubbing his thighs against each other, trying to get rid of the uncomfortable, hot wetness that was only growing and growing between his folds. As it grew, he noticed he was starting to breathe, loudly— he just couldn’t help it. This feeling was too much, he wanted it gone. He didn’t even need to breathe, why did it feel so necessary yet so difficult right now?
He pressed his forehead against the nape of the traveler’s neck, making her chuckle quietly. Feeling her warmth against himself was somehow relieving, but it also made his body shake with desire and want.
He muffled a groan of discomfort by covering his mouth with his hand.
“Fuck… Lumi—”
“I’m still awake, you know. Do you need something?” She sleepily muttered.
“Ugh…”
“Won’t you just tell me what’s wrong?” She insisted softly. “I can help you.”
The wanderer wanted it. So badly— but he still had his pride. He shook his head, even though Lumine was facing the other side and couldn’t see him.
She took his silence as a no, anyway. “… Alright. Goodnight again.”
“… ‘Night”, he replied this time, in a small voice. He was determined to let the overwhelming feeling go away on his own…
But a few minutes later, he couldn’t care less. He tapped her shoulder lightly, swallowed his pride and breathed out a whispery “… Help?”
The traveler sat up again, her golden eyes shining, as if she’d been waiting for that moment. She raised an eyebrow, looking at him and waiting for him to say something more.
To which the wanderer furrowed his brows and muttered something that sounded like “come on”.
“What do you want?” Lumine asked innocently, raising a brow.
“Stop talking and do something already!” He whined impatiently, forcefully grabbing one of her wrists and directing her hand to his abdomen, not daring to push it lower— maybe hoping she would do that herself. She smiled, running her fingers up to his chest instead. At her caress, his body relaxed against the thin mattress.
“Lower”, he demanded.
But she liked his chest too much to just leave it alone already. She put both of her hands to use; while one massaged his chest through his bodysuit, the other traced its way to his lower stomach, then even lower, then some more, until it was resting on his clothed sex.
As soon as he felt her touch, the wanderer inhaled sharply, his body tensing up. The hand that was caressing his upper body found a nipple and focused its attention on it, earning delicious moans from him and helping him loosen up some more. His eyes were glued to her as soon as she started moving her hand. She really was handling him with care. The combination of her touch and the embarrassment of the situation, of how she looked so serious and focused on him, was really getting to him.
The more Lumine rubbed his clit through the fabric, the more he felt the urge to strip off and expose himself for her. He struggled to remove his bodysuit, and the traveler lent him a hand as soon as she noticed. Once free of his clothing, he laid back down, putting himself on display. The traveler licked her lips.
He was completely flushed red from his face to his chest, his weakened arms resting above his head, his hardened nipples demanding more attention, his parting legs tempting her, his blue eyes silently begging her to touch him. So she did, and he whimpered imperceptibly when her hand made direct contact with his clit for the first time. Not feeling any friction, but only a somehow unsatisfying contact, he moved his hips closer to her, but much to his displeasure she withdrew her finger. He let out a soft cry. He was feeling so good, why did it have to stop already?
“Are you playing with me?” He whined, trying to sound intimidating. “If you’re only doing this to annoy me, might as well…”
He trailed off, observing her. She was giving her thumb a few licks, carefully wetting it before placing it on his engorged clit and moving in slow circles, as two fingers of her other hand held up the hood. To which the wanderer could only shut his eyes, throw his head back and let out a long “oohh…”, pleasantly surprised at just how good it felt.
He wasn’t used to this.
Her pointer finger slid down, passed his urethra and pressed against the slit. Her thumb was still working his clit, circling it at a steady pace. Feeling that she wasn’t speeding up, the wanderer complained in a breathy voice. “That’s… too slow.”
She gradually picked up the pace, lubing her finger with his juices to help it slide inside his hole. She looked at him. His eyes were tightly shut and his closed fists were grasping the blanket they were sharing earlier. She was being careful with her movements, afraid to hurt him. “Hey, Kuni. You’ve done this before, haven’t you?”, she asked, slightly tilting her head to the side.
“Not of… my own will”, he responded through clenched teeth.
Oh.
That wasn’t completely unexpected.
The traveler removed her clean hand from his body to caress his cheeks.
“I’m… sorry.”
“It’s okay. It’s… nothing, really.” He gave a nod of his head to signal her to keep going from where she had stopped.
She experimentally moved her finger, but he had gotten tighter. Thinking back about what happened had apparently made him tense up again. “I, uh… I don’t want to hurt you”, Lumine stated. He looked away. He knew it would hurt if she pushed inside him right now.
Sensing his anxiety, she straddled him and softly placed a kiss on his cheek. Her right hand lightly grazed the sensitive birthmark on his higher back, as she continued leaving kisses on his face. The wanderer made a little smile, and let out soft noises and hums of pleasure, while she showered him with affection by pecking his forehead, cheeks, and even the tip of his nose.
“My— my lips too.”
“Alright.”
Complying with his request, Lumine kissed him on the lips. His lips parted, letting her tongue in as soon as he felt it prodding his mouth. She adjusted her position so that her knee was now in between his legs, and he started to roll his hips against it immediately, moaning into her mouth. The friction felt so good on his clit, and now he just wanted more, more, more.
When their lips parted, Lumine kissed his neck, softly nibbling and sucking on it, relishing in the way he tilted his head back to expose his body even further, curving himself to get her to do more, every single cell of him screaming “take me, and do whatever you want to me”. And desiring nothing more than that.
She cupped his chest with both hands and gently fondled his porcelain skin. The wanderer was breathing heavily, completely lost in the feeling of the soft skin of his neck being marked by her mouth and his sensitive nipples being stimulated this delicately. His folds started to lubricate again as he rubbed himself against her leg, hips bucking furiously. His hands feebly grasped the traveler’s golden hair, trying to push her further onto his body. He guided her where he wanted her attention, and the traveler found herself licking and suckling on a nipple. His other breast, small enough to fit in her palm, savored the traveler’s caresses. He could feel something hot churn into his lower stomach. The feeling was slowly taking over his entire body, it was like a drug, and now he needed more.
“Lumine… it feels good, ahh…”
The traveler smiled against his skin. They were making progress.
“Lumine. I think I’m ready.”
“Mhm?”
“Yes. You… won’t need to go easy on me.”
“Well, I’m still going to make this as comfortable as I can.”
He smiled imperceptibly, nothing but pure love in his eyes. He gave a slight nod of his head to encourage her. “Come inside… Lumine.”
Her finger found itself back where it was earlier, circling the hole before slowly sliding in. Her body was moving on its own, as if it was on autopilot.
“N-ngh…”
She gradually pushed her finger deeper, observing his face to make sure it wasn’t too overwhelming for him. “Is this okay?”
The wanderer nodded frantically. This felt way better than he had imagined. “More… more…” he managed to squeeze out, his voice sounding broken and hoarse. “Go deeper…” He was sweating, so much so that his skin looked a bit shiny from the moisture.
“You’ve got to call me ma’am for that”, Lumine said.
“In your dreams. I’m not calling you that,” he mumbled.
She chuckled. “I wasn’t serious, dummy.” And as proof, her finger went deeper. The wanderer instantly forgot Lumine had been teasing him.
“Oohh… nnh… just like that…”
Encouraged, the traveler kept rubbing his inner walls with care, searching for that one spot that would have her Kuni crying out in pleasure.
The wanderer was lost in a trance-like state. His ocean eyes were unfocused and teary, and a bit of drool could be spotted at the corner of his mouth.
When Lumine’s skilled lips made contact with his clit, pressing a loving kiss on it, Kuni’s eyes went wide and he whimpered slightly in surprise. He lost his composure once again when she began to give it the softest kitten licks, sloppily throwing his leg over Lumine’s shoulder, making it easier to buck his pussy right into her mouth as she licked at his hardened clit.
“Haah… ma’am, feels so good…”
The traveler could feel blood rushing to her cheeks. And her crotch.
She was feeling like his pleasure was the only purpose of her life. She lapped up all the delicious juices that came out of him, her gentle licks turning into messy and frantic sucks.
And the wanderer, oh, he was long gone. Weakly holding Lumine’s free hand, occasionally squeezing it when he felt like the pleasure was too much for his body to handle, he’d never felt as good as he was feeling now. His head thrown back in heavenly bliss, resting on the blanket he had used to lie to the traveler and get this in exchange— oh, it’d been so worth it, he kept thinking. He would have done it again and again if it meant feeling the same pleasure he was feeling now.
The traveler was so gentle with him. Did he even deserve her gentleness?
“Kuni? Are you feeling alright?”
Warm juices trickled down her chin as she lifted her head from his crotch to make sure he was okay. Placing a hand on the underside of his thigh, she waited for his nod to start eating him out again.
“I’m feeling... a little more than alright.”

Scaramouche brings an injured Lumine home, and try as he might, he can't completely hide the harrowing feeling of old wounds opening upon seeing her injured.
Part Two to this: https://www.tumblr.com/sugarnsmokerings/775195023057764352/dumbass-lumine-gets-just-a-bit-injured
But can be read on its own. c:
Tumblr media
Swinging the door to the Teapot Abode shut with his foot, Scaramouche promptly plops Lumine onto the couch with a dull thud.
Working quickly, he swipes one of the throw pillows from the opposite end of the sofa, lifting the injured leg by the ankle and stuffing it underneath the appendage before lowering it back down. The wrappings on her lower leg now quaintly propped.
He stands up and turns away, before promptly pausing to fix her with a glare and a pointed index finger.
"Stay."
It's almost as if he were referring to a dog, but Lumine knew better than to bother to take offense. It would only encourage him afterall. Maybe that sort of behavioral training on her part would make him the dog if anyone.
With that, he marches off, disappearing down one of the many winding halls. The subtle clacking of his sandals deadening until she was left in silence. Her head slumps against the armrest with a sigh before hazarding a glance down at her blighted leg, frowning in discontent. Scaramouche hadn't actually told her how bad it was, but she could already tell it'd surely keep her out of commission for at least a full day. Both literally and figuratively. "Stupid Lawlachurl..."
Amidst her musing of misgivings, a shrill, yet familiar, screech pierces the still, artificial air, coming from the direction Scaramouche left in.
Paimon.
She was in the kitchen, presumably stress eating given the Traveler's unintentionally extended absence. And Scaramouche had also presumably told her about her injury, and knowing him... he presumably did so in a rather gaffe manner.
This theory is all but confirmed as the poor wooden door is slammed open by the shrill squealing fairy.
"TRAVELERRRRR!!!"
She zooms her way over to where they lay. Clasping her face in her little hands and looking over her with abject terror. Quite the overreaction really. She looked like she was staring right at her casket.
"Traveler, what happened?!? You told Paimon you'd be no longer than thirty minutes! Thirty. Minutes. But you were nearly two hours! Paimon waited and waited and waited and you never came back!"
Lumine's mouth scrunches in a mixture of guilt and thinly veiled annoyance. She didn't have the energy to console her with the earnestness she usually would, but she couldn't leave her there practically sobbing to herself in her worry. But as she moves to sit herself up and open her mouth, she's abruptly interrupted.
Scaramouche had followed her out, now setting a cup of hot tea on the side table next to her, a bit harsher than necessary given his annoyance, not taking his eyes off Paimon all the while. His sandals were off and so was his haori, his indigo hair largely tucked behind his ears, a few errant strands poking out all the same. He had clearly been interrupted in the midst of cooking for her. How domestic. Lumine bites back a smile.
"Archon's sake, you pixie, she's not dying. She's just a dumbass who got herself smacked around a bit too much."
Paimon's expression contorts from a brief look of relief to annoyance at his rude remarks. She fixes her slumped posture, holding her head high and crossing her arms. "Pffft. Y-yeah well... can't blame Paimon for being worried about her friend! Not that you'd understand!"
Scaramouche raises a thin brow. Oh, how he could beg to differ. Merely shaking his head, he turns to leave once more. The once whimpering companion seemingly consoled. "Yeah, whatever. Make yourself useful for once and make sure she stays seated."
And he's gone again as fast as he reappeared.
"Of course I will, but not because you told Paimon to!" She retorts haughtily even though he's practically out of earshot, coming to float besides Lumine's legs,
Lumine sighs exasperatedly before turning to Paimon. "What did he tell you?"
Paimon stiffens, her gaze sliding away from her beloved travel companion. "Paimon doesn't want to say..."
She narrows her eyes at Paimon's side profile, that's just about what she expected, albeit worried she would say. That asshole...
While Paimon eventually flutters off to go rest away her previous panic, Lumine's gaze drifts back to the steaming cup of tea he had brought her, and the occasional clink and soft clatter coming from behind the kitchen door... An asshole to be sure, though perhaps, not completely hopeless.
Gingerly propping herself up with the armrest, she takes the cup between her two hands and steadily brings it to her mouth. Chamomile. With just a taste of honey. Just how she liked it.
The kitchen door swings back open, that familiar frumpy face carrying a small, ornate ceramic tray. He strides over to her, stopping only as his knees press against her own stretched across the couch.
"Move." He states tersely, nodding towards herself currently taking up both cushions.
Lumine obliges, gingerly shifting into a sitting position, taking care to not put pressure on her wound. Scaramouche watches silently the whole time, his gaze insistent but not at all impatient before sitting down beside her. Allowing her curious gaze to survey what was atop the quaint tea tray.
In the center, a bowl of porridge was giving off a heady scent, dotted with lush green scallions and a boiled egg cut down the middle sporting a deliciously jammy center. Her personal mini teapot was to the right, presumably filled with a replacement cup of her chamomile tea, and a half drank cup of his own. And finally to the opposite of the bowl was a simple mini dish of meticulously cut berries.
Lumine hadn't been thinking much about her stomach really, for once, but she sure was now as her gazes flicks along the perfectly set serving tray. Eagerly taking it from his outstretched hands and setting it on her lap with an excited gaze to which Scaramouche rolls his eyes at. Her and her food.
"Don't cram it all down at once, that went so well for you last time." Once she's adjusted the tray adequately on her thighs and began to eat, he gently lifts her leg onto her lap. Pulling the small medical pouch he keeps on him just for her out of his pocket and setting it beside him as he gently begins to undress the original dress job he had done just well enough to subdue the bleeding.
Lumine of course, doesn't seem to care at all about his fussing, nor his concerns about her bad habits as she spoons the savory porridge into her mouth. Eager, yet still not indecorous in her mannerisms.
There's a beat of silence, only interrupted by the tugging of cloth and the clinking of cutlery. Eventually, Scaramouche is the one to break it as he stares at her bloodied skin with a pinched brow. "...You've got to be more careful." He sighs, crumpling up the soiled cloth and setting aside before pulling a roll of bandaging from his bag. The movements gentle and considerate as he cleans the area, his free hand absently rubbing the skin of her knee.
Unperturbed, Lumine nearly shrugs, still munching away without a care. "Oh, come on. I told you, it's fine! It's just a flesh wound, I've had way worse." She remarks with an edge of smugness, prideful of her exploits.
Scaramouche's expression darkens, his fingers on her knee squeezing somewhat, not taking his eyes off her leg. "I mean it."
She pauses, her exultant expression dampening at the drop in his tone. Oh. Oh, stupid, stupid, stupid. Who was she kidding? Of course he wouldn't be too lackadaisical about it, he who already lost everything he loved once, even himself. If it were to happen again, would he... She shakes that train of thought off. No, she didn't want to think about that. Not right now.
"...Sorry."
Noting the vulnerability in her tone, his lip twitches downwards imperceptibly. He shakes his head, rubbing over the same spot, even as it's free of any remaining blood. "Whatever."
Whatever? Oh no, he doesn't. She's not letting him withdraw on her now. Not after that. She sits up, leaning forward. "No, not whatever. I know what you're thinking, so why don't you talk to me?"
Another twitch. This time of the eye. But she was long past being even slightly intimidated by him. Even as he puts on that low, dangerous tone of his. The one that means, "back off." "...If you already know, then why the hell should I say it?"
Lumine's lips press into a flat line, taking a moment to think through her response. She knows she has to tread carefully here, even if her injured state is a leverage in her favor. Beneath it all, he really was still delicate to the point of potentially shattering once more. A veritable glass cannon in the flesh, with all that it entails.
"...I want to hear it from you."
...No response. Though no deflections either. That's good. So she pushes onward.
"You don't have to tell me anything you don't want to, I know that, but you don't have to hide from me either."
She bites her lip, so far so good. Nothing was said that he could've possibly gotten defensive over. "So... why can't you tell me what's wrong?"
He finally stops scrubbing that clean spot with a sigh, his gaze pointedly down at his hand clutching the cloth.
"...Never again. And definitely not with you."
"I'm not going anywhere."
Scaramouche scoffs derisively. He's heard that before. "You better not." He uncorks a small jar of ointment, smearing it across the seam of the gash, not so much as reacting to her tiny hiss of pain at the feeling.
Still staring at his side profile, she wants to say something else, but what? He wasn't exactly an easy one to console. Closed off, yet devastatingly vulnerable. Abrasive and haughty, yet with far too much insecurity for his own good. Every reply, be it trite, heartfelt, or blunt felt ill fit. "...I do mean it. No one can get rid of me so easily."
"I know." He says. His voice has softened, but that cadence is back again, tucked in his undertone. The one trying to shake her off. And this time, she reluctantly lets him. At least she's said her piece, even if it was a heavily Scaramouche-sanctioned version, and not what she really wanted to tell him.
A slightly awkward silence falls between them as Scaramouche finishes dressing her wound up. Lumine having set the tray aside on the table, watching his gentle movements while idly sipping her tea.
How badly she wanted to get through to him. More than she already has anyways. To console his aching heart properly, rather than skirting about the glaring issue with carefully selected replies that feel more manufactured than anything adequate.
But what would he do if she did? Would he merely tell her to buzz off and leave it at that? Maybe, most likely actually, but the more grevious scenarios still kept her hesitating. She understood wholeheartedly just who and what he was, and who he's shown capable of being. Lumine makes no excuses for it, nor does she make allowances on his behalf, but it was the searing pain forcibly carved into his hollow chest that allowed himself to be led astray so virulently in the first place. That very pain that had forebode the metaphorical albatross hanging forevermore along his neck. And for that, she also doesn't make allowances.
Still, she knew better than most people that the only way out is forward, just as well as she knew the metaphorical heart racketing away inside his vacant chest.
Heart. Too much heart.
How ironic for that to be the vice card he's dealt. The quintessential tell all for where it all went wrong lay in that frail core that just wants to be loved above all else.
Scaramouche finishes up on her ankle, running his fingertips over the bandage, making certain there was not a bump or a lump out of place and retracting his grasp.
"There. Now for god's sake, be a little more careful."
Lumine smiles softly, her leg still strewn across his lap. Careful is not a word in her vocabulary, and she rarely cared to include it, but love is a thing defined by a willingness to compromise. "I will... be more careful... for your sake."
There's a quirk to his lip that she could almost swear was a suppressed smile.
"...Good. Because I'm not going to keep pampering your ass every time you decide to be an idiot."
It's a lie, and they both know it, but she's content to let him pretend she finds him so tough.
She laughs softly, gazing back at him like she couldn't believe he exists. Like a sad, little withered flower learning to bloom again.
"Then thank you for pampering me." She pauses, glancing back at the nearly empty tray beside her, a smirk finding its way onto her mouth. "...And speaking of which, I could use more tea."
He raises his brows incredulously, fighting a losing battle to look annoyed before giving up entirely. He sighs to himself, that presumed affectionate smile now on full display as he stands up. He very gently places her leg back onto the couch cushion he was sitting on like it was priceless glass, giving her head a quick ruffle as he walks by. Muttering to himself loud enough for her to overhear.
"Dumbass..."

Fracture: a Wanlumi short fic
Tumblr media
Summary: Wanderer has started to notice Lumine’s bizarre overprotective streak when it comes to him.
Wanlumi oneshot - spoilers for 5.1.
Read the rest here on Ao3
----
Chapter One
It started with his chin hitting the ground and knees digging into his back.
Wanderer's eyes flew wide, the sharp hiss of blades parrying ringing out above him. He managed to turn just enough from his face full of dirt to glimpse blonde hair behind him. The sight of the Traveller straddling his back while swinging her sword was truly one to behold. She fought with all the power of an avenging God, the power of electro activated, sparks flying around her.
None of this tempered his outrage of course. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" he snarled.
Lumine's calm gaze slanted down, stealing his breath. Her eyes were clear and firm, unyielding. He couldn't understand why. It was almost as if she was afraid in some way.
Afraid for him? He bristled at the thought like a stubborn mule. He could take care of himself- and she'd blatantly just undermined his skills by knocking him down like that.
With the Fatui soldier he'd been facing dispatched, Lumine nimbly hopped back to her feet and ran off again into the evergreen wilds of Sumeru's rainforest. Wanderer was left to pick himself up, snatching his fallen hat from the ground and glaring at the spot where she'd disappeared. He wouldn't forget this slight against him any time soon. Turning on his heel, he engaged a lingering soldier in a fight, refusing to leave his back so recklessly open again.

Lumines' Harem (If Aether allows it)- Wanderer/Scaramouche
The next chapter of the series is up on the Pat site wheeee. this might be one of my favorite chapters i've written for this story <3 check it out if you're interested and here's a sneak peek!
Tumblr media
“So, A glowing ball managed to control an entire ecosystem and had the power to heal the people inside it?”
“Yup. Ever heard of anything like this before?”
Nahida hummed, picking up a piece of green crystal. Aether had collected the shards of the magical ball from when they had shattered it, bringing it to the Dendro Archon to try and get some information.
The tiny woman lifted it up to the light of the room, a frown on her face, “I do not sense any energy from it at all. It’s just a piece of rock now. But how can something so small hold so much power? And how can that power disappear so quickly and easily?”
“Well, I wouldn’t say it was easy to destroy.” Aether said, leaning against a table, “But I've fought harder battles.”
“What do you think, hat guy?” Nahida asked.
Lumine snorted from where she stood at the doorway, covering up her laugh with a cough as the aforementioned ‘hat-guy’ glared at her. Wanderer scowled as he took the shard from Nahida, bringing it upto eye level. They were all currently in his office at the Akademiya, the four of them pondering over the strange situation.
“I can’t be sure but I wouldn’t be surprised if this has something to do with the Fatui.” Wanderer said, setting the shard back down on the table, “All of this does sound familiar.”
“What do you mean?” Aether asked.
“I remember reading an old file when I was with them. A project that was scrapped centuries ago. The people back then were attempting to harness the power of the Archons to control the environment and bend it to their will. But after several failed attempts, they stopped.”
“So you think the Fatui is attempting that plan again?”
“It’s possible. But they only talked about controlling nature- never said anything about being healed by it.”
“It must truly be something very dangerous if it’s capable of such things.” Nahida pondered, hand on her chin.
“But wouldn’t controlling nature be a useful thing?” Aether asked, “Rivers can be changed to provide water to drought torn cities. Same with places with limited food and vegetation.”
“It is also a tool the wrong person can use to create damage.” Lumine said with a shake of her head, “Who is to say someone won’t try to drown a city underwater or cause earthquakes? Besides, we just experienced the bad things one can do with that power. If enemy groups can’t be beaten in battle, all of Teyvat will turn into a warzone. Or worse.”
“If it’s regulated-”
“In my experience, no matter how strict you are, there will always be someone who slips through the cracks and takes advantage of power.” Lumine said with a shake of the head.
“True,” Wanderer quipped, “but considering how much of a failure your last army was, I don’t think you’re the best person to take advice from.”
Lumine clicked her tongue in annoyance, about to snap back when Nahida piped up:
“I agree that this power is too dangerous to exist. It’s also a good idea to never try and control things that are far, far beyond your capabilities. Trying to control nature itself- it’s a fool's errand and will only end with innocent people being hurt.”
“Considering this gemstone was controlling a huge tree, the tunnels within it as well as providing healing for the fighters, I have to guess the experimentation for this power is already far along.” Wanderer said, “They might have been testing this out for years and we’re just finding out about it now.”
“I shall look into it.” Nahida said with a nod, “Contact Tighnari and Cyno as well. Ask them if they’ve noticed any places that have undergone changes- like the grass looking greener or the animals being stronger. If this group really has been using Sumeru as a testing ground, there must be evidence of it.”
“Maybe we can go back to that big tree and investigate again.” Aether suggested, “there might be something we’ve missed. We were pretty preoccupied at the moment.”
“Then I shall leave you to it.” Nahida said, her mind still elsewhere as she thought over her plans, “And I shall go now to do my own investigation. I shall contact you if I find anything of nore.”
With a couple of nods and goodbyes, Nahida vanished, disappearing in a sparkle of green.
“Let’s get going.” Aether said to the remaining two, “If we start now, we’ll have all day to investigate.”
“If by 'we',” Wanderer said, walking back towards his couch and plopping down, “You mean you and udders over there,” he gestured to Lumine who snarled in response, “go on ahead. I’m not joining ya.”
“Wh- why not?” Aether asked, hands on his hips. Wanderer simply shrugged; his posture nonchalant as he crossed one leg over the other.
“I have no stakes in this and I don’t remember ever offering to help. Besides, I’m a scholar here. I have plenty of people who seek me out on the daily for their studies.”
“I suppose joining an institution would be the only way you can get someone to willingly talk to you.” Lumine muttered under her breath but judging by Wanderer’s glare, he heard her just fine.
“Come on man, don’t be difficult.” Aether groaned, “Nahida asked you to help!”
“She asked for my input on the gem. Never said anything about me going out and investigating. Besides, even if she did, I wouldn’t just listen to her. I’m not her dog.”
“You’re about as small as one.” Lumine muttered again, this time making both Wanderer and Aether click their tongues at her.
“A little help here?” Aether asked her. Lumine shrugged, putting her hands up in a surrender, “I agree with him. I say we investigate things ourselves. Let him continue his ‘super important studies’. We’ll probably be faster without him anyway.”
“He’s Ex-Fatui! If we stumble upon something that belongs to them, he’s the only one who can make sense of it!” Aether explained exasperatedly, “Can you both get your heads out of your assess and think about the bigger picture here?! I know you’re not the best of friends but I don’t think that’s important when innocent lives are at stake!”
There was a pause, everyone silent as Aether’s words hung in the air. Lumine bit the inside of her mouth, now feeling quite childish. Her brother was right. She shouldn’t be this petty. But just as she was about to apologise:
“...I’ll help you.” Wanderer said.
Aether’s shoulders sagged in relief, “That’s great! Thanks-”
“On one condition.”
Lumine couldn’t help but roll her eyes while Aether raised an eyebrow, clearly taken aback, “O…kay? What is it?”
The Anemo user smirked a devilish grin before he jutted his chin towards Lumine, “I want her to beg me to help.”
“Fucking excuse me?” Lumine asked, flabbergasted.
“You heard me.” the man responded, leaning back more against the cushion with the confidence of someone with the upper hand, “You need to ask me. Be really cute when you do it too. Say ‘please oh please help us out, Wanderer’~”
Ok. Fuck not being petty.
Lumine grit her teeth, immediately drawing her sword out, “How about you help us and I’ll allow you to keep that nasty tongue of yours!”
“Oh, you know all about my nasty tongue, don’t you?” Wanderer continued to goad, making a ‘V’ shape with his fingers and placing it over his mouth before he stuck his tongue out between them, flicking it up and down.
“You-” Lumine growled and stormed forward, ready to slash at the man but Aether immediately stopped her, grabbing her by the arm.
“Lumi, can I talk to you for a second?” he demanded.
“Right after I slit his throat-”
“Now.”
Lumine huffed, her blood boiling as Wanderer laughed at her, even giving her a mocking wave goodbye as her brother dragged her out of the room. She let her sword disappear as Aether took her steps away from the office, far enough so that they wouldn’t be overheard.
“Lumine, I need you to cooperate!” Aether said, a frown on his face as he let go of her arm, “I know you two have history but there’s bigger things going on here than a grudge.”
“Do we really need him?” she asked, crossing her arms over her chest, “He already gave us some information. Let’s just use that and figure it out ourselves!”
“And who knows how long that will take us!” Aether argued, “And like I said, he’s an ex-Fatui. If anyone knows what they’re planning it’s him and before-” the man lifted a finger up, a stern look in his eyes as he stopped Lumine from speaking, “-you suggest calling up Childe, I really don’t think he’s desperate enough for your pussy to spill Fatui secrets.”
Lumine’s mouth opened and closed like a fish, the woman trying to rack her brain to think of anything to argue with but she failed. Letting out a loud sigh, she deflated, her arms hanging limp on her sides as she huffed out: “Fine. Fine. I’ll cooperate.”
“Thank you.” Aether said, leaning forward to give her a sweet kiss, “Be good and I'll eat your ass later.”
“That’s more for your pleasure than mine.”
“So you don’t want it?”
“...I didn’t say that.”
“I thought so.” with another kiss to her lips, Aether grabbed her hand again before walking back to the room, Lumine trying not to let her obvious disgust show in her expression.
“Well, don’t you look chipper.” Wanderer said sarcastically as he looked at her.
Guess she failed to not make it obvious.
Lumine walked forward, Aether standing off to the side as she stopped in front of Wanderer. Her scowl deepened as she looked down at him. He was significantly different from when she last met him- Centuries ago when he went by ‘Scaramouche’ but even if his aesthetic had changed, she knew he was the same smug asshole. He was a taller man than before but not by much compares to her and Aether. While he used to wear shorts before, now he sported a pair of long pants. But other than those differences, he looked practically the same.
With his comically stupid hat and his dorky bowl cut hairstyle. Who does he think he is?
“Well?” Wanderer asked, looking up at her expectedly.
“...Please help us.” Lumine mumbled.
“What was that?”
Lumine took a deep breath, willing her blood pressure to not spike up, “Please…please help us.”
Wanderer cooed, “you know- I still can’t hear you! How about you get on your knees and try again?”
Lumine clenched her fists while Aether spoke up: “Don’t push it, Wanderer.”
“You should be grateful, you know.” the man simply responded, “I had half a mind to make her my slave as repayment but because I respect you,” he gestured to Aether, “I’m settling for this.”
“But you-”
“It’s fine, Aether.” Lumine said, “The faster we finish this, the faster we can start investigating.”
Wanderer raised an eyebrow, his eyes following her gleefully as she got down on her knees. She took a deep breath, her face flushed with rage and shame as she knelt before him:
“...Please help us.”
Wanderer laughed again, tossing his head back as he took enjoyment in her shame. After a few seconds, he uncrossed his legs and leaned forward, his eyes dark and his smile sinister.
“Oh, I have missed the sight of you on your knees~”
“But even from down here, you’re still as small as ever.” Lumine insulted, a swell of satisfaction in her heart as she saw the man clench his jaw, “I did what you asked. You better not go back on your word.”
“I know.” he replied, leaning back against the couch cushions and Lumine quickly hopped back onto her feet, “We can go investigate that tree whenever you’re ready.”
“Then let’s go now.” Aether said, “It’s best to not waste any time.”
