i will wandapost on main because it is in my heart and soul to do so. and then i'll just put it on my sideblog later. okay? okay

i'm actually in the middle of writing an analysis post on her but it's been a bit since i started that because i made it way too ambitious than i wanted to, so. here are some scattered ideas i think about often, because i adore her and wish klei would do more with her as a character outside of her gimmick

thankfully, on that gimmick topic, her being incredibly concerned with what time she has is very interesting to work within.

though she's caring towards the others, her concern about wasting time probably comes as a great detriment to her allies on occasion but more importantly herself. she can't allow herself to properly cook her food or brush her hair or SLEEP because she "doesn't have time for that!" her neuroses in my beautiful wise world know no limits.

she's been in her game of cat and mouse for a while, probably since her early 20's judging by her minimum age in-game, and i doubt she really remembers what it's like to live as a fully-fledged breathing person since it's basically taken over every waking hour of hers that she tries to preserve as much as possible. she finds levity in little things like her various tchotchkes she collects, funny hats, sweet treats and humoring the kiddos, but also acts like little things like a nap might just kill her.

i think, paired with her forgetfulness and her general lack of inclusion amongst the other human survivors, she's kind of distant from the group (probably realistically due to being the newest character and a dlc character), if not completely dissociated from a lot of things- especially considering how much time-hopping and being in a general state of insanity (seeing shadow freaks and all) must be wracking her brain. she's not the bewildered older lady kind of disoriented- she's still very knowledgeable about what matters to her, and present when the moment requires. what happens to matter also tends to be matters of survival and of fate.

does she know she's safer now that she has a group- the other survivors- to work alongside her? or is she too caught up in the idea of her fate and the spiral it pulls her down to realize this? when will she be considerate of the effort and resources they all take and need to survive, and let herself have the time to properly sustain and care for herself?

when will she brush her hair.
