Part two
Tumblr media
Oh, my Johanna, Johanna...
There you were at a party that wanda invited you to it was just a simple college party nothing else the atmosphere felt weird... and tense your vision was hazy including nothing but people passing out, strobe lights flashing over your face red solo cups plastered all over whoevers kitchen counter.. drinks that you didn't recognize the name of assuming it was something fancy. It made sense since it was apparently some rich kid who's dad owned a big company hosting the party you didn't even recognize anyone there except wanda, clint, tony and maybe natasha?...
You and natasha never got along well due to your past with her meaningless hookups that would end up with nobody in her bed the morning after. It was a on and off thing for a while with you catching feelings for her when she didn't want you and natasha catching feelings for you when you didn't want her it was a confusing thing between you both it was on and off like that for a while during your freshman year of college but, you guys talked it out and discussed how it was better for you both to just keep the relationship between you two EXTREMELY platonic she went on a rant of multiple pros and cons about it and how it would keep your friend group together you didn't care as much as she did but you went along with it. So did she.. she soon got used to it and distanced herself from you she was tired no matter whether or not the friendship included those hookups or if it was platonic she couldn't manage to be friends with you knowing she was gonna catch feelings again. Did she have a good reason to? maybe but those were hookups that you and her both strived off of everyone moved on from it except for her it was somewhat of a cold atmosphere between you and her for a while but its okay now, which you assumed since she gave you a quick smile at this party...
"come on.. go talk to her!" clint nudged your shoulder as he nodded to the direction wanda was in she looked so beautiful.. whenever you got a glance of her the signal of butterflies would turn in your stomach and it made you somewhat smile to yourself it was common for you to do that.. smiling at the thought of wanda or smiling whenever you had a interaction with her you couldn't help it who wouldn't fall for her? he was bothering you all night to go up to wanda and dance with her or at least have a conversation with her but he knew you were too afraid to "I think i just need to sit down.. i dont know clint.. this party is just.." it was true the party was overwhelming with the music pulsating off of the walls even when you stepped outside for some "fresh air" it was nothing but the music still blasting strobe lights were even set up outside to "keep the party going" which was doing nothing but making everyones face in the crowd unrecognizable and the strong scent of weed making the air thick, the scent of sweat and alcohol mingling with the aroma of wanda in your mind wasn't doing you justice she always smelt like cherries and wine in the best way possible the only scent that you could ever get drunk off of, the only scent that ever brought comfort to you when you didn't feel safe, the only-
"Y/n! im so glad you made it!!" Wanda had the biggest smile on her face as her slender fingers caressed your shoulder bringing you the sense of home and getting rid of the overstimulated feelings you had from the party. You were caught off guard with the sight of wanda suddenly coming up to you, you didn't expect it but yes you did how couldn't you? you guys were friends and she was known for being the sweetest to you, you sometimes wonder if thats what made you catch feelings for her. You hated it but no matter how much you did it wouldn't go away.
"wanda.. hey.." it took a while for you to regain your composure as you were drunk off of literally nothing except the thought of wanda in your system well to be honest she was the only thing in your mind that night "i couldn't find you" you lied, you saw her multiple times throughout the night even when clint brought your attention to her and tried to pressure you into talking to her. You avoided her, you felt guilty about it. how could you? wanda was basically your friend that you had feelings for just a friend that you had a really good connection with, the first person to ever show you what true love was like? or was it just fully platonic you always wondered what she thought about your friendship with her..
"i was looking for you!" she giggled her laugh was like the only noise that ever brought you happiness the noises from the party fading away and the soft rustle of the cup she was holding which had a bit of what you assumed was rum her eyes glistening from the backyard lights really making the emerald green remind you of the beautiful grass that you always dreamt about laying in with her and being far away from home you stood there taking in the moment of her presence until she spoke again "let me get a drink for you!" she said loudly but quietly in your ear it was hard to speak with speakers literally making the music blast in your eardrums the music was too loud for you to understand what she said but you made it out in your mind as you nodded she took your hand gently dragging you through the big crowd of people who were all over the place dancing, drinking, smoking or just passed out all over the atmosphere was still a mess but with the sight of wanda your mind was blurred from the chaos of the party the noise quickly faded as you took in wandas features from her dark brown reddish hair to the curves on her body your mind was in awe her presence was like a aura of light in darkness
A few seconds later as your back inside of the house wanda hands you a cup of a drink you couldn't even recognize but you knew it was alcohol you weren't used to liquor but you decided to put on a front for wanda as you chugged it and had sort of a face of grimace as you put the cup back down onto the counter "i know you don't drink" you turned your gaze back to wandas as you spoke
"i know.." it was true you didn't drink but you decided to act tough for her or maybe loosen up once in a while but she knew you.. she knew that you hated parties, hated smoking, hated the thought of being peer pressured, hated alcohol. anything that was sinful for you in general you despised, but this night wanda was your heaven sent angel
"just thought i would've gave it a try you know?" you murmured into her ear the music was still too loud to have a conversation with one of you yelling or whispering into the others ear "I guess its not my thing" wanda brought her hand up to your back as she slowly caressed it up and down making a wave of comfort wash over you.
"it doesn't have to be your thing" her eyes softened as she noticed your discomfortness " Y/n.. you don't have to do anything you're not comfortable with" "you don't have to pretend with me you know?" you couldn't help but feel your cheeks warming up and blushing at the sound of your name coming out her mouth and the sentence that tugged at your heart strings heer words truly resonated within you, cutting through the noise of the party and the insecurities that had you held up throughout the party. A reassurance that you didn't have to adjust to anyone else's expectations to belong.
"honestly you could just be yourself and thats all i want" her pupils dilated as she looked into your eyes this caught you off guard "nothing else?" you smiled and teased wanda seeing how far you could push her back into her regular state she quickly hit your shoulder and rolled her eyes as she giggled.

A flashback to two months ago
You were invited to breakfast by wanda you weren't used to waking up as early as her. This restaurant spot was where you guys would meet up countless times to talk, study or just have a coffee you didn't like waking up early to meet up with wanda like this but you couldn't help but fiend for her presence so you pushed yourself cause it was wanda and you wanted her, you loved her, you desired her. The morning sun was glistening over your skin as you stared at your phone until wanda spoke up "The service is awfully slow today.." you weren't used to seeing wanda be impatient was she complaining too much? no she wasn't it's true the service was very slow it makes sense since it's summer there was many tourists visiting the city just for food, beaches, views and expenses it held. "I could've cooked my own food faster than this.." wanda muttered under her breath you weren't used to seeing cold attitude come from her even her voice was laced with venom but you quickly spoke up and decided to ignore it "i'm sure they're just busy.." you noticed she was biting the inside of her cheek wanda would always do this whenever she had something heavy on her mind or if she was just frustrated. It hurt you seeing her like this so you snapped her out of her thoughts "wanda our foods here" she quickly re adjusted herself straightening her posture in the seat as the server set her food down along with yours "Sorry for the wait, enjoy." the server smiled at you both as he walked away quickly attending other customers. Wanda just rolled her eyes leaving a awkward but comforting silence you weren't sure what to say to cut the tension in the air until wanda spoke up "So.. i have news" you noticed something was off her voice was a bit hesitant before speaking that wasn't normal either she was always so confident before she spoke.. you raised your eyebrow giving a signal to wanda to continue talking as you bit into your food "I've been seeing this guy.." your heart immediately stopped at the mention of a guy wanda is with, the oxygen in your lungs felt nonexistent, the butterflies in your stomach died, it felt like you were suffocating almost, your chest started to burn as you coughed on your food a bit as you tried to force a smile "That's great wanda" you spoke up trying to suppress the feelings of jealousy within you, you wanted to scream at her telling everything you ever felt for her what you loved about her and how much you longed for her but you knew you couldn't. wanda spoke up again silencing the ringing noise in your ears "We're still figuring things out you know?" "I just wanted you to be the first to know" she smiled at you how could you not love wanda? The room fell silent once again, the weight of Wanda's words heavy in the air. You glanced around the restaurant until you swallowed scrambled eggs and your feelings of jealousy "im happy for you" your voice was slightly trembled oh how you wished wanda wasn't so blind..
Tumblr media
I was drinking hard, acting tough But it was just a crush, just a crush
There you were dancing with wanda you were at least two shots in not enough to be drunk but enough to start pouring out your heart to her of how you wanted to marry her, make her yours, or be hers? your body was starting to loosen up so was the lump in your throat with every secret you held you towards her you couldn't help but notice how beautiful wanda looked even with messy hair your mind would sometimes drift off wondering if that's what she would look like if you ever had the chance to wake up next to her. You couldn't help where your mind was drifting off to but it felt strange, your mouth started to open up as if it was a feeling of vomit the music made you deaf from any words that were about to come out your mouth you tried to protest it but soon your body gave up
"Wanda.." You said her name as if it was a prayer she kept dancing as she heard you speak up the lights looked so beautiful in her eyes as it glistened over her face making wanda a bit unrecognizable and making your vision hazy mixed with the alcohol you had...
You knew she didn't want you, You knew she was with vision, she belonged with vision, She didn't even think of you that way but here you were about to dump your feelings towards her the weight on your chest was starting to feel heavier.
As Wanda danced like a angel gracefully, her laughter ringing out like in your ears, you couldn't help but feel a pang of longing deep within your chest. She was so close, yet so far away, a distant star shining brightly in a sky you could never reach.
"Wanda" You repeated once again... You leaned into her waiting for her to send or give a sign of some assurance that she knew what you were trying to do or if your feelings were reciprocated she soon leaned in and brushed her lips against yours. Your heart started to pound quickly as if it was a ticking time bomb that was about to explode. The kiss was soft, tender she tasted like cherries, rum and wine with a hint of cinnamon you were testing the waters first until she deepened the kiss making it become more passionate with a trembling touch you cupped her face into your hand you could feel how warm her cheeks were getting and the smile forming on her face as you pulled back she pulled back into the kiss making her breath warm and sweet you could tell she wanted this too with the way she pushed her body against yours the longer the kiss continued you pulled back and started kissing onto her neck as she moaned into your ear all you wanted to do in that moment was melt into her arms but it soon came to a end.
The feeling of vomit was starting to get heavier on your chest the more you stared at her figure dancing in the strobing lights
"im gonna get another drink" Your voice trembled with emotion as she nodded and smiled give you assurance that she would be right there just dancing the night away knowing she'll never walk away from you. You wished you could stay there forever with her but you walked away quickly to the bathroom making your way through the crowd getting elbowed a few times and struggling to get out of some tight spaces
You immediately shut the door once you stepped in and looked at yourself in the mirror, your hair was messy droplets of sweat were pouring down your face, watery eyes, pupils dilated. You looked completely out of it, you couldn’t tell what was real or fake, there was still adrenaline running throughout your veins from the sensation wanda had once placed on your lips and the melody she left ringing in your ear it was everything you ever wanted you soon closed your eyes turning on the sink splashing your face with water noticing the vivid image of wanda’s face and the lights you soon opened your eyes and smiled recollecting your thoughts of what just happened you were all happy and thought about how it was finally the right time to confess your feelings to wanda. You resented that vision was going to hold a spot in wanda’s heart even if you wanted to be in a relationship with her but you daydreamed about ways it could work out for the both of you.
Soon after you stopped smiling to yourself and daydreaming what you and wanda could be you soon stepped out the bathroom your eyes being greeted with the sight of clint coming up to you
“i’ve been looking for you everywhere!” He drunkenly swung his arm around you catching you off guard forcing you to regain your balance “Clint right now is not the best time…” You whispered into his ear trying to look for wanda in the crowd. It was hard to look for anyone in general even with the strobe lights flashing and fog in the air masking everyone, making it impossible to find her.
The air was choking up your throat as you tried to get a fresh breath of air from how terrible the party smelled but you had to adapt your senses to it even if it meant passing out all that mattered to you right now was getting to wanda. Your heart started to race the more you were scanning the crowd with desperation of finding wanda but you could barely recognize anyone… The feeling of clint trying to tug you back into his presence wasn’t helping you focus much either and the fact that he was yelling into your ear was just causing you more overstimulation. You bumped into a couple of people having to apologize profusely over and over your voice noticeably shaking with fear and emotion until….
You finally spotted wanda crossing out everyone in the crowd making the lights that were once flashing into your eyes causing a headache, you noticed she was dancing with a tall figure you really couldn’t make out who it was but you noticed it was some tall blond lanky man dancing and grinding against her they looked like two intertwined souls dancing with not a care in the world. You couldn’t help but feel a lump build up in your throat as you spotted the two having such a intimate dance, your throat got even tighter when you recognized it was vision the man who she would brag about all the time and how happy she was with him..
Was that why she was smiling at you all night? Was that why she didn't pull away from your kiss? Your mind drifted off to multiple scenarios maybe she was trying to get her mind off of vision. You knew he wasn't the perfect boyfriend for her well everyone had their reasonings but that's what you wanted to believe so you could swoop in and be with wanda because at the end of the day you believed that you were the one she belonged to. You remembered those nights you stayed up late just to hear her rambling about how many times she caught vision cheating on her you tried to convince her to break up with him not out of jealousy but out of how you wanted the best for her even if that meant not being with you. You didn't really have the right to be upset with her even if she was dancing with vision..
Feeling suffocated by the weight of unrequited love, you needed an escape – something to numb the ache in your chest and quiet everything that was going on in your head. So, without a second thought, you gave Clint a quick glance and pulled him into the kitchen, where all the drinks were stocked.. Your throat was tight and burning enough already, the alcohol was not going to suppress your feelings for her, it wasn't going to suppress the numbness you felt at the sight of wanda dancing with vision but you decided this is what you need to clear your head so you drank away
"Hey.. y/n lets slow down the drinks alright?" although clint was a bit drunk he still had a mind of his own. To be fair he was the only one out of the group who knew you best even since you didn't speak your feelings he could still tell what was wrong with you. You could notice that clint was very concerned and worried for you all you needed to do was to communicate with him so he could stop you for whatever disaster was about to happen.
"I'm fine."
You paused, your hand hovering over the bottle, the weight of Clint's words sinking in. In that moment, you realized that drowning your sorrows in alcohol wouldn't make the pain of seeing wanda with vision go away – it would only numb it temporarily. But either way you took a long chug of whichever alcohol you chose from the counter and how it left a sharp pain in your throat the same sharp pain wanda was leaving..
Clint watched you silently, his eyes filled with understanding and empathy. He knew all too well the pain you were having as he soon came to what made you this way the agony of watching someone he cares for slip through his fingers. "I just need a moment," you muttered, your words slurring slightly as the alcohol began to take effect. But even as you spoke, you couldn't shake the feeling of emptiness that gnawed at your insides, a constant reminder that wanda would never be yours and that her happily ever after would be with vision even in every other universe..
You were already soon too deep it had been a few minutes ever since you chugged multiple cups of alcohol and clint snatched the bottle from you although you tried to fight him and protest but you knew he wasn't doing any wrong so you soon gave up after.. You noticed a few looks coming from the crowd as you started to cause a scene while all clint was trying to do was diffuse the situation as he took the bottles and cups away from you.
Your body was starting to give up as you tried to lean against the counter for support even clint was trying to help you regain your composure your muscles were slacking and the lights started to turn into a hazy vision of a kaleidoscope, the weight of the alcohol and emotions bore down on you, the world around you began to blur and spin. With each passing moment, the room seemed to tilt on its axis, the sounds and colors melding together into a haze.
You tripped over your own foot as you tried to lean against the counter again but without warning you soon saw every overwhelming sense come to a halt as the last thing and all you could perceive were scurried footsteps and Wanda's voice, a distant echo calling out your name in panic and worry. The last sensation being the vibrations of her voice coming through and her hands reaching out to catch your weak body as you felt droplets from what you assumed were tears of concern coming from wanda.. In that moment, as darkness closed in around you, you couldn't help but not have a single thought but for now, all you could do was surrender to the embrace of unconsciousness and wandas arms wrapped around you as she tried to help you.. The voices of the crowd and clint and wanda and then vision were the finally the last thing.

This wasn’t how it was supposed to be. She was supposed to be with you not him. Watching her hands all over him was like a knife to the gut. You kept wondering how you got here, how he was better for her than you. The world felt so much darker as you watch them cuddle up together on the couch.
*Flashback to a few days ago*
You were laying in your bed when you heard a soft knock on the door. You called out for whoever it was to come in and when the door opened it revealed a distressed looking Wanda. She shut the door behind her before she sat on the edge of your bed.
“I uh need to tell you something” Her voice was soft but hoarse as she spoke which made you nervous.
“You can tell me anything Wands” Wanda smiled at your words but she still didn’t know how to tell you what she needed to.
“Well uh. Vision asked me to be his girlfriend” Your eyes went wide at her words. “And i said yes” That was the moment you felt your heart break and a lump form in your throat.
“That’s great Wands! I’m so happy for you!” You lie as you put on your best happy face. Wanda felt like you were upset but she wasn’t going to push you to talk.
Your mind was going a million miles an hour and your heart was racing. The two of you talked for another few minutes before she left your room and you broke down.
That night you skipped out on dinner which Wanda made and opted for a mental breakdown instead.
*End flashback*
And that brings us to a few days ago. Team movie night. Aka the night you dread the most because you had to watch Wanda and Vison be all lovey dovey. You thought that after a few days the feeling of hurt and rejection would go away but it didn’t. If anything your heart broke more anytime you saw her or them together.
So in the days after Wanda and Vision were official you took a major step back and distanced yourself from Wanda. It took her by surprise when you told her you weren’t in the mood for your weekly movie night on tuesday. She didn’t understand why you were being so distant so she decided to corner you in the training room for answers.
Wanda walked into the training room determined to get answers.
“Y/n” Her voice made you take a step back from the punching bag and make eye contact with her.
“Yea Wands?” Your voice was gravelly and hoarse causing a shiver to go down her spine.
“Why are you avoiding me” Your brows furrowed at her bluntness and you stood there confused.
“I-I’m not” You said trying to defend yourself. She scoffed a little a crossed her arms over her chest.
“Really? Because you’ve turned me down for our movie night, you started training with Nat instead of me, you don’t sit next to me at dinner anymore and we haven’t gone to lunch in days” Wanda said pouting a little and you felt your heart strings tug a little.
“I’ve just been busy” Was all the explanation you gave her and she huffed in annoyance.
“Y/n please!” She begged feeling her eyes well up with tears. “I miss you” Her words made you sigh as you grabbed your water bottle.
“Wanda please..It’s nothing to do with you i’ve just had a lot going on that’s all” You said softly looking into her soft green eyes.
“Okay…I’m sorry” Was all she said before she abruptly left you in the training room. You turned around to say something but the doors shut before you could.
You stood there as your thoughts ran wild and you felt a lump in your throat. It was all too much for you to handle so you just gathered your things and went back to your room hoping to sleep it off.
When you got to your room you were quick to turn the shower on and step into the warm water. The water cascaded down your skin melting away some of the tension in your muscles. You tried to shake the thoughts of Wanda out of your head as you washed your body then hair. You took your time with each step not wanting to leave the warmth and safety of the shower.
Once you were fully satisfied with your shower you stepped out and wrapped yourself in your fluffy robe. You changed into your favorite sweats and hoodie before slipping into bed just wanting to sleep away your problems. So that’s what’s you did you turned on The Vampire Diaries before you drifted off into unconsciousness state.
*Your dream*
The sun shined on your face causing you to groan a little before you slowly opened your eyes. You looked around and noticed that you weren’t in your room. You slowly uncovered yourself and walked around the room. There were small trinkets scattered around along with pretty paintings on the walls. But your heart stopped when you saw the picture on the nightstand. It was of you and Wanda with two baby boys smiling at the park.
Your heart started to beat faster and your hands started to sweat as you stared at the picture. After a minute of staring at it you put it back down and grabbed the robe on the door before walking to what you assume was the kitchen.
The sounds of giggling filled your ears as you approached the kitchen. And you couldn’t believe what you saw when you walked in. There Wanda was sitting at the kitchen table with two boys who looked around five and they were eating breakfast.
“Morning malysh” She greeted as she stood up from the table to grab the plate she made you. You walked up to her with a small smile on your face not really understanding what was going on but loving it nonetheless. Wanda handed you the plate with a small kiss on your cheek and you sat down next to one of the boys.
“Morning mommy” The little boy in a blue shirt said giving you a side hug when you sat down. Your eyes widened a little and you looked at Wanda who had a little smirk on her face.
“Uh morning honey” You said giving the boy a kiss on the head before you started eating along with them.
“How’d you sleep?” Wanda asked sitting back down at the table. She gave you a look as you asked making you wonder if she knew you were confused.
“I slept okay” You said tilting your head in confusion at the look she gave you. Wanda just nodded at your words and continued to eat her breakfast.
The four of you ate breakfast and you learned the boys names Billy and Tommy. You were still confused as to what was going on after you cleaned up from eating. Wanda had sent the boys to their room after you finished eating so she could talk to you for a moment.
“Malysh?” You felt a pair of hands wrap around your waist when you heard her voice. You turned around in her arms to face her making her smile a little.
“Yea?” You said in a soft voice making Wanda damn near melt.
“Are you okay?” She asked knowingly.
“Not really…I’m confused. One minute i fell asleep in my room at the compound and then the next i’m here with you and…and our kids?” As the words left your mouth you grew even more confused as to how this happened.
“Well if it makes it easier to understand this is a dream” Your eyes widened at her words.
“What?!” You said completely bewildered not comprehending what the fuck was going on.
“Well it’s a dream of our future” She said as she took you to the couch. The both of you sat on the couch and you waited for her to continue.
“I’m not the Wanda from your universe to start. In my universe i made the same mistake as the Wanda from your universe. I chose Vision in my universe just like yours did and i regretted it immediately but i felt stuck. And it wasn’t until…You uh died in my universe that i knew i made the biggest mistake of my life. I’ve spent the last two years trying to find a universe with you in it. Most universes have a you but you’re normally already with Wanda except in this universe…” You felt like you got whiplash from her words as you sat there and listened.
You sat there for a few minutes before you found the courage to speak. “So you’re not my Wanda and you’re from another universe? And i died in your universe? how? when? I-I and are the boys real? or are they just in the dream?” Wanda took your hand to stop you from having a panic attack.
“Breathe malysh breathe” She said calmly. “You died on a mission two years ago when we were taking down a hydra base and we got ambushed. We did everything we could to save you but it didn’t work. And yes in most universes the boys exist. We used a sperm donor to have them. You carried billy and i carried tommy.” Her words calmed you down a little.
Your thoughts were running rampant as you looked at the woman you loved. “I- Wow” Was all you were able to say making the witch laugh a little.
“I know this is a shot in the dark but w-would you come back to my universe with me? I-I can’t keep living without you” Wanda begged holding your hand a little tighter.
“But won’t that ruin the multiverse?” You asked a little nervous. It’s not that you didn’t wanna go it’s that you were scared and also thought that you were going crazy.
“No it won’t. I can make it to where you don’t exist in this universe. I can make it to where no one even knows your gone.” She said quickly to make sure that you didnt say no.
“Okay” You nodded your head. Wanda smiled and brought you in for a passionate kiss. And that’s when everything went blank.
*End of your dream*
You woke up and rubbed your eyes and looked around the room to make sure you were in your own room. It took you a few minutes to realize where you were and that you were okay. You shook off the dream assuming that it was just your brain playing games with you.
The clock read 12:02 when you saw a portal open in your room. You rubbed your eyes again as the portal opened and Wanda walked through.
“Wanda? What are you doing?” You asked still half asleep.
“I’m bringing you home Malysh”

The Babysitter Master list | General Master List
Chapter 3- W/c 3.6k
Falling Asleep On The Job
The cup of coffee warmed your hands while you sipped from it slowly, listening to Natasha as she talked about the class she just escaped from, Professor Harkness being her usual bitchy self according to your best friend.
"But at least I got to stare at Maria for almost an hour," she mumbled at the end, a chuckle leaving you at the amazement in her eyes when she thinks back to the blue-eyed beauty. "Anyway, enough about me, how's the babysitting job going?" You smile at the thought of your job, the last two weeks of looking after the boys passing like a blur, everyday full of fun and silly adventures.
"I love it," you sigh out contently, finger tracing the rim of the coffee cup, "The twins are perfect for me and actually really fun to play with." Natasha laughs with you, teasing you about finding better friends than her.
"What are their parents like?" she splits her chocolate chip muffin, handing you half knowing you wanted to have some without even needing to ask.
"Their father is well...He's a bit of a dick," you answer honestly, thinking back to every encounter you've had with the man. Vision is always either blunt, cold or dismissive of you and is extremely keen on leaving the house as soon as you arrive. Natasha merely grins at the small scowl that appears on your face while thinking of the man, taking a sip of her own coffee.
"What about their mother?" she asks, and you feel a slight blush form on your cheeks, "Oh so the mother is nice then," she jokes, you taking a bite of the muffin and ignoring her comments. "Oh, come on Y/n, spill."
"Fine," you grumble, fingers tapping against your cup now, a subconscious thing you do when you're happy. "Wanda is just amazing," you ignore the insinuating look your best friend is giving you and continue, "She is so kind and caring all the time, makes sure I'm alright and is just a perfect mother to the twins."
"It seems like you finally have a crush," she teases, knowing you're not the kind to fall for many people, too scared of the consequences.
"It's not a crush," you dismiss, taking a bite of the muffin, Natasha chuckling at how quick you were to deny her comment. "I can't have a crush on her anyway, she's married with children in case you forgot."
"That doesn't stop you from being able to like her," she counters, and you just retort to stealing her half of the muffin to shut her up. "Cyka," she mutters, you smile innocently at her with your mouth full of her treat. "You can pay me for that."
"No, I won't," you joke back, "You love me too much to charge me for a muffin." She shakes her head at you, laughter tumbling out of your mouth as she grumbles something else in Russian. You simply sit there looking at each other for a few moments, basking in the comfortable silence before she speaks up.
"How's everything at home at the moment?" her tone is not pushing as she knows it's a sensitive topic for you. Your gaze flickers down to the table, staring at the wood patterns, each swirl and darker tone standing out to you.
"The usual," you say, shrugging your shoulders and taking a sip of your coffee again, the warm liquid helping with the lump forming in your throat. "I haven't spoken to her properly for a few days, she's either at work or passed out so..." Natasha moves to sit next to you in the booth of the cafe, letting you lean your head on her shoulder as she can tell you don't want to talk about it anymore.
"The offer is always there, Y/n," she softly says, "You know Melina and Alexie would love to have to stay at ours," you smile at her but shake your head.
"I can't just leave her Nat, I know she's not perfect but I'm all she has," her arm then wraps around you, letting the conversation die out when you rest your head back against her shoulder and stare out the window. Your eyes follow the people passing by, poking Natasha's ribs and making her look when a dog like Fanny walks past with its owner.
"I can't believe you guys let Yelena name the dog," you chuckle out, Natasha groaning as you always tease her about this.
"It's her dog Y/n," she mumbles, "And how was I supposed to know she'd name it Fanny Longbottom." You bark out a laugh at the name, unable to help yourself and almost falling over when she playfully pushes your head off her body.
"Cyka," you say, trying to copy her Russian but your pronunciation is not the best, making her laugh. Natasha goes to say something in return but is interrupted when your phone starts to ring. The name Wanda flashes across your screen, the redhead smirking at the way your lips tug up into a small smile.
"Hello?" you answer the phone, Natasha moving back to the seat across from you and continuing to drink her coffee.
"Hey Y/n," Wanda's voice rings through the phone as you place it near your ear to talk to her, not putting in on speaker as you just know Natasha would try something while you speak to the older woman, "I know we said you could have today off, but Vision has just called me saying he has some emergency meeting he needs to attend to." You listen and look over to your best friend who's looking at you curiously, "Is there any chance you could look after the twins until he comes home? I'm sorry, I know how out of the blue this is and understand if you can't."
"What time would I need to be there?" you mouth 'babysitting' to Nat, her nodding her head in understanding, smiling at the apologetic look on your face.
"As soon as you can," you plan the journey in your head, trying to figure out what buses you would need to get to reach their house quickly.
"I can do it but it might take me a while to get there depending on the buses," Natasha grins at you before making a whipping gesture at you, a pained noise escaping her when you kick her shin under the table. "What time would Vision or you be back?"
"Well, I'm currently out of Westview on a work trip and just coming back from my parents so I won't be back until after twelve, Vision on the other hand said around six or seven."
"That's fine then, I'll start heading over there now," Natasha helps you put away the work you two were doing before you both got side tracked.
"Thank you, sweetheart," A smile takes over your face at her term of endearment before you both say goodbye.
"I'm sorry Nat-"
"Don't apologise," she cuts you off. "Go and have fun with your other friends," she jokes, giving you a hug and letting you get on your way to the Maximoff's residence.
***
Panting slightly, you ring the bell and try and catch your breath, running all the way from the bus stop as it started to rain, your hair and jumper now drenched. Within seconds, the door opens, an impatient and unhappy Vision standing at the doorway.
"You're late," is all he says before grabbing his own coat and making his way out of the house. You don't even bother making a comment to him, accepting the fact that he's definitely got something shoved so far up his arse that makes him act like a dick.
You take your shoes off, not wanting to trample dirt and water into the home and walk into the living room to see Tommy playing Mario Kart and Billy sat on the sofa watching his brother, seemingly lost in thought with a sad expression.
"Hey mini Maximoffs," you call out, slicking your hair back and deciding that the warmth of this house will quickly dry it. Tommy's face lights up at the sight of you, Billy only smiling a little making you concerned. You drop your backpack off at the table before sitting with Billy, wrapping an arm around him and letting him lean against you. "What's wrong Billy?" Your voice is soft as you speak to him, his shoulders shrugging as he stays quiet, his gaze lowering to the floor. "Come on," you stand up, motioning your head for him to follow you while his brother is preoccupied with his game.
You walk to the kitchen, pouring yourself a glass of water while Billy takes a seat at the kitchen island, placing his hands on his cheeks as he looks at you.
"I can tell something's bothering you, ok?" you say calmly, sitting next to him and mirroring his body language, arm propping your head up. "I'm not going to make you tell me if you don't want to, but I just want you to know you can talk to me if you need to, alright?" He slowly nods at you, pondering for a minute while his mouth opens and closes as he tries to find the words he wants to say.
"Is...Is it bad for a boy to like drawing?" his voice is quiet while he looks away from you, fingers playing with one another.
"What? Of course it's not," your brows furrow at his question, "Boy can draw if they want to, anyone can." You try to explain him looking back at you with a confused look.
"But my dad said boys shouldn't like to draw," You see red for a second, imagining Vision telling Billy false things, especially when it involves something he likes. "He said it's a waste of time and I should like things like science or sports."
"Your father is wrong, Billy," you don't want to go against one of your bosses but when it comes to crushing this little boy's heart you don't care. "Just because you're a boy that doesn't mean you have to like certain stuff, you can do whatever you want as long as it makes you happy," you see a smile starting to form on his face again. "Also, as long as it's legal," he lets out a chuckle at that.
"Can we draw some things now?" hope starts to surface in his eyes and who were you to deny him.
"Of course we can, go and grab your things and bring them into the living room," he runs off to his room while you go back to where Tommy was.
Soon enough, you have Billy drawing at a small table while you play against Tommy at Mario Kart, swallowing your pride and letting him win a few games to make him cheer. When the track Rainbow Road comes up, you pull a face, remembering how horrible this track was when you would play it with your father.
"I'm so going to beat you Y/n," Tommy teases, sitting upright and focusing hard on the screen as the countdown shows.
"Bring it on Maximoff," you retort, a competitive nature overtaking you. The game is neck and neck as you both complete your laps, the race coming down to the wire as you take the lead. Just as you're about to celebrate, a red shell hits your car, your character spinning out while Tommy's drives past and wins the race, jumping up off the sofa in joy.
"I win!" he exclaims, sticking his tongue out at you making you laugh and roll your eyes.
"Cheap move Maximoff, cheap move," you grumble, placing down the controller and walking over to Billy, checking how his drawing was before making your way back into their kitchen.
Your eyes check the clock, seeing it just gone past half six and decide to make their dinner as you don't want Vision to come back soon and complain. Flicking through cupboards and the fridge, you decide the only thing you're going to have time to make is a simple dish of chicken nuggets and chips.
While preparing the food, as in putting in on a tray to put in the oven, the twins come in to ask what's for dinner, their eyes lighting up at the dinosaur shaped nuggets that you were putting in to cook.
"Thank you, Y/n," the twins say at the same time, freaking you out a little but you brush it aside as you hand them both their plates and sit with them, eating your own plate of food. Biting the head off the poor dinosaur you chose to eat, your eyes widened at the random questions that were thrown your way from either twin. You tried your best to answer them, the question of 'how were we made' making you choke on your chip before you stuttered out that you didn't know.
After the eventful conversation finished, you let the boys digest their food before sending them for their showers and telling them to get dressed in their pyjamas. Billy came down in his red and navy set of pjs while his brother came down in a matching sky blue and green set. The three of you then sat watching one more episode of a cartoon they were watching, you check your phone to see the time and frowning when you see it's half eight. You replied to the few messages Natasha sent, her asking you about your 'dreamy boss' and teasing you more before you decided it was time to get the boys in bed.
"Thank you for tonight Y/n," Billy says while you tuck him into bed, making sure he was snug in his duvet before pulling away.
"No problem, Billy," you whisper, "Remember if you ever want to talk, I'm also here for you." He nods and lets you go over to his brother, tucking him in and chuckling when he starts to say he's too old for it.
"I guess I'll just go now then," you tease, slowly walking away from him, his eyes widening.
"Wait no," his voice a little panicked, "You can still tuck me in if you want to." Chuckling, you move back to tuck him in, ruffling his hair a little before saying goodnight to them both and heading downstairs.
You let out a tired sigh, glancing over to the clock and seeing it was past nine, a little confused as to where Vision was. You send Wanda a message, asking if she knows when Vision will be home and decide to try and finish some of the schoolwork that's in your bag.
Psychology work stares back at you while you glare at the paper, the abundance of information you're meant to be learning not wanting to stay in your mind. Flashcards are soon filled with notes as you try and learn the topic for the test you will be having in Mr Wilson's class in a few days, your eyes growing heavy while you look over the notes once again. Before you know it, you're placing your head down on your arms, resting your eyes for a minute that soon becomes longer than intended.
***
Just after midnight, the front door of the Maximoff residence opens to reveal a very drained Wanda, her hand running through her auburn locks as she leans against the door after closing it. A tired and defeated sigh leaves her lips, exhausted after the long drive from her work trip and ready to just climb into bed and let sleep overtake her.
With the last bit of energy she has, she pushes herself off the door, waking up when she sees the sight of your shoes near the entrance and walks through her home. She tosses her phone onto the side table, the item useless as it died a few hours ago, and searches for you or her husband. Wanda pauses when she sees you, confused as to why you're still here but also concerned as you're slouched over the table, the position definitely going to give you a sore back.
"Sweetheart," she whispers, gently rubbing up and down your back, trying to stir you awake. In response, you just let out a sleepy noise, Wanda's face softening at how peaceful you look, eyes closed and mouth slightly parted as gentle, quiet snores leave your lips. "Come on dear, wake up for me," she tries again, shaking you a little bit to try and get you to wake up.
"Mum?" you murmur, waking up gradually and moving to rub your eyes, back cracking as you stretch.
"Not your mum sweetheart," you hear a voice say, not comprehending it for a moment before your eyes widen when you realise who it is.
"Wanda, I'm so sorry I didn't mean to fall asleep-"
"Hush dear it's alright," she says softly, "It's past midnight, if you weren't asleep, I would have been worried." You flush at the way she's looking down at you, her hands still running up and down your back soothingly. "Is Vision not home?" she asks, her tone more serious than before making you blink your eyes to try and fully wake up.
"Uh, no?" you look away from her trying to think, not noticing how her jaw clenches at the news. "He wasn't home before I fell asleep, that was probably around ten?" you look at her with a shy look, still embarrassed that you fell asleep at their table. "I messaged you earlier about asking where he was, did you not get it?"
"My phone died a while ago dear," she explains, moving her hands to your shoulder and giving it a gentle and assuring squeeze. "I'm sorry you had to stay here so long," she sighs out, moving to sit next to you, her hands moving off you making you miss her touch.
"I didn't mind it," the tone of your voice genuine, "But I am so tired," you honestly say, stretching once again. "Morning classes are practically child abuse," you mutter, her laughing and remembering how she felt all those years ago when she was in your position.
"Oh god, they were absolute hell," she reminisces on her college life, thinking back to the early mornings and grumpy lecturers. "What did you have this morning?" Despite both of you being so exhausted, Wanda found it easy to talk with you, wanting to stay up a little longer just so she could find out more about you.
"Psychology," you practically groan, "Mr Wilson decided to set another test, so I've been trying to learn it all, but it just won't stay in my brain." Wanda can hear the hint of stress in your voice and places her hand on top of yours, your eyes not meeting hers and skin feeling warm wherever she touches.
"Hey, look at me," your gaze immediately catches her, her green eyes almost overwhelming you with care, "Don't try and force yourself to learn things otherwise you'll just burn out."
"That doesn't matter, I need to pass this test-"
"Don't say that," her hand squeezes yours, "You need to take care of yourself, ok?" You refuse to meet her gaze once again making her speak up, "Can you do that for me Y/n?"
"Yeah," you whisper, giving her a small smile, "Thank you."
"No need to thank me dear," her tone motherly, "Now, do you want to crash here in a guest room?"
"I need to get back home," you considered her offer for a moment but remembered your morning class tomorrow, well today as it was early in the morning, and did not fancy travelling to the college from here. "I just need to find out what buses are still running-"
"I'm not letting you get a bus at this time," her voice leaves no room for arguing, "What would your mother say if I let you do that?"
"Probably nothing," you mutter, Wanda not able to hear the comment. "I need to get home though."
"I'll take you home then," she stands up, moving to grab a glass of water to drink before she drives you back.
"What about the twins? You can't leave them alone," as soon as the words left your lips the front door opened, Vision entered the house, face paling at the look Wanda was giving him, her head tilting to the side slightly.
"Vision can stay with them while I take you home," she states, Vision lowering his head as he walks up the stairs of the house, Wanda helping you put all your things away and walking you to her car. You climb into the red vehicle, Wanda following suit and motioning for you to enter your address in the sat nav.
The drive is only about twenty minutes but the whole journey passed in a blur, you just enjoying the company of the older woman. She assured you many times that she didn't mind taking you home, wanting to make sure you got there safely. During the drive you occasionally glance over at her, admiring her side profile and noticing how her fingers drummed against the steering wheel to the beat of the music playing.
"This is it," you say, a little embarrassed, your apartment block is nothing in comparison to her house. "Thank you once again Wanda for the ride," you turn to her, a smile gracing your lips.
"No problem, dear," her eyes look over at your building before returning back to you, "Have a good night, Y/n," she calls out when you start to climb out of the car, grabbing your backpack from the backseats.
"You too Wanda," your hands hold your bag strap, Wanda's heart melting how cute you look before shaking the thought away. "Get home safely," you tease, copying her words from whenever she walks you to the door after babysitting.
"See you soon Y/n," she says while you open the door to the building, putting her car in reverse and heading back home with you on her mind.

Y/n's POV
I am awoken from my slumber by feeling of someone moving my hair out of my face. I open my eyes to see the one person I've grown to love the most. I smile at her to receive a smile in return. "Good morning lovey." Her voice is laced with a hint of her Sokovian accent. "Good morning miss Y/l/n." She gives me a small kiss but I lean up to kiss her a few more times before full sitting up.
"So how long do you think we have this time?" She asks moving to lay in my lap. "Hmmm I'd give it two minutes." She shakes her head and looks at her phone. "Not that soon, give it at least six." I smile at her as she moves my hand to her hair and I start scratching her head softly. "I'll bet you dinner and dishes tonight that it'll be two." We shake on it and check the time, it's 7:18. I grab my phone from the night stand and check my notifications, I don't see a reply from Natasha which is strange cause she read my message but before I can start thinking anymore into it i hear footsteps running into the room.
The door crashes open and in come the two 3 year olds. Wanda sits up as they jump onto the bed and I lay down to pretend to be asleep. "Good morning my loves!" Wanda greets them but they jump straight over to me and shake me. "O'pa wake up it's morning!" Tommy says loudly and Billy starts to jump on the bed next to me.
"Moooooom make O'pa wake up!" Tommy pouts at Wanda as she rolls her eyes. I sit up quickly and grab the twins in my arms and start tickling them. They start screaming and giggling trying to get me to let go. Once they escape they run to hide behind Wanda who just smiles. "Hide us mama O'pa is meeeean!" Billy whines while Tommy sticks his tongue out at me. "So who won miss protector?" Wanda shakes her head and mouths some profanity at me while I laugh and stand up.
Before I can walk away Tommy jumps into my arms and Billy jumps onto my back. "TRAIN RIDE!!" They both shout and I start making train sounds as I swerve them back and forth all the way down the stairs and to the kitchen. I place Billy in his chair and Tommy in his and scoot them both in. "Alright what do the little cuties want for breakfast we have Pancakes, Waffles, Toast, and eggs?" I ask them as I digit with the wedding band on my finger.
"PANCAKES!" They shout together and I can't help but grin at their antics. I really do love these kids so much, I feel like a parent to them since I've practically raised them since they were born. I have always been here when Wanda needed a break or a mental day or when she had missions. That's why I'm their O'pa and I'm so so proud to be. "Pancakes it is, now go play while I get them ready." They run off smiling and giggling to the living room. I start grabbing the flour, eggs, milk, and everything else I need the pancakes. As I'm mixing all my ingredients I feel a pair of arms wrap around my waist. I immediately smile and place my hands on hers as I lean back into her hold. "Hello my love." She whispers into my neck which tickles a little, I turn to face her and wrap my arms around her neck.
I kiss her softly and lean back in to kiss her again until I am repeatedly kissing her. She laughs and hides her face in my neck leaving soft kisses there. I will never get tired of holding her in my arms, these mornings mean everything to me. Her kisses get longer and a bit sloppier as things turn a bit spicy. I felt her start to leave a hickey so I pull away and smack her shoulder softly. "Babe you can't do that the kids are in the other room!" She groans and puts her head on my chest and speaks. "I can't help that you look attractive doing everything, besides it's only a tiny mark, what's the harm?" I shake my head at head at her and go back to cooking.
After breakfast I go upstairs to shower and get ready while Wanda gets the boys dressed. I styled my hair and put on some baggy jeans with a Scooby Doo shirt. Once I'm ready with my sneakers I go out to get the stuff we need from the store for a surprise for the boys. I get home and the boys are playing while Wanda is filing mission reports on the couch. I walk up behind her to give her a kiss on the cheek and cross my arms over her chest. "Hello my dearest wife!"
"Hi baby, did you get the stuff?" I nod my head and walk over to the boys and sit in front of them. "Hi O'pa wanna play?" Billy holds out one of the figures to me. "I would love to buddy but actually me and mom have a surprise for you boys." The boys jump up and start shouting out questions on what the surprise is before Wanda gets them to settle down. "Do you remember how you have been begging us to get you a pet?" They both start screaming and jumping which forces Wanda to once again calm them.  "Do you guys want to see what it is?" She asks them and they nod quickly.
I grab their hands and bring them over to the dining room table that held two circular cages, sand and rocks, small bowls, hermit crab food, paint, two shells, and paint. The boys go running to the chairs and look into the box at the creatures that immediately retreat back into their shells.  "We are going to paint their shells for when they grow out of the small ones." Tommy reaches in and picks one up and tries to look inside at the hermit crab. "There is brushes and paint here and make sure you paint over the newspaper please boys." Wanda instructs while we sit on either side of the boys. They start squeezing out paint to start on the shells.
Sometime about half an hour later Wanda's phone rings and she steps out to take the call while Billy informs me that he will name his hermit crab shelly. When she steps back in she seems worried. I stand up and bring her over to the living room. "Is everything okay?" I ask her and she shrugs. "I'm not sure, all Tony says is that he needs us in the lab now." Fear starts to rise in me as my mind starts searching for possible explanations. "Okay um I'm sure it's fine, I'll call Yelena and Kate to come watch the kids." She nods and hugs me, I kiss her on the forehead and hug her tight. Everything is fine, it has to be.
A/n- Hi, my apologies it's been a while I promise frequent updates soon, but here it is, I hope you enjoyed it.

"Love Beyond the Lines"
Wanda x Fem!Reader
Warnings : none, mostly fluff
Words : 1288
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Y/N had been Wanda Maximoff’s best friend for years. From the first time they met, there was an unspoken connection that grew into an unbreakable bond. They had shared countless memories, fought side by side in the heat of battle, and found solace in each other’s presence during quiet moments.
Y/N had always admired Wanda, not just for her incredible powers, but for her unwavering loyalty and kind heart. Over time, admiration blossomed into love, a deep and consuming affection that Y/N kept hidden. She couldn't risk their friendship by revealing her true feelings, especially when Wanda’s heart seemed to belong to someone else.
Vision was a remarkable being, both human and not, and Y/N saw how he and Wanda complemented each other. Their connection was palpable, and Y/N often found herself torn between supporting her friend's happiness and grappling with her own unrequited love. She watched from the sidelines, her heart aching with every shared smile and tender glance between Wanda and Vision.
One evening, after a particularly exhausting mission, Wanda and Y/N found themselves alone in the quiet of the common room. The rest of the Avengers had retired for the night, leaving the two friends in a rare moment of solitude.
"Y/N, are you okay?" Wanda asked, noticing the faraway look in her friend's eyes. "You seemed distracted today."
Y/N forced a smile, trying to mask her inner turmoil. "Just tired, I guess. It's been a long day.”
Wanda nodded, but she wasn't convinced. She knew Y/N better than anyone, and she could sense that something was amiss. "You know you can talk to me about anything, right?"
Y/N hesitated, her heart pounding. She wanted to confide in Wanda, to pour out her feelings and confess the love she had kept bottled up for so long. But the thought of losing her friend's trust, of disrupting the harmony they had built, was too great a risk.
"I'm fine, really," Y/N lied, her voice barely above a whisper. "Just a lot on my mind."
Wanda reached out and took Y/N's hand, her touch warm and reassuring. "You don't have to carry it alone, whatever it is."
The sincerity in Wanda's eyes almost broke Y/N’s resolve. She wanted so badly to tell Wanda everything, but the image of Vision's face flashed in her mind, and she pulled back, the moment slipping away.
Days turned into weeks, and Y/N continued to wrestle with her feelings. She watched as Wanda and Vision's relationship deepened, each interaction a reminder of what she could never have. The pain of unspoken love weighed heavily on her, but she kept her feelings hidden, choosing friendship over the risk of rejection.
Then, one night, everything changed. Y/N and Wanda were sitting on the balcony of the Avengers' headquarters, the city lights twinkling below. Wanda seemed unusually quiet, lost in thought.
"Wanda, is something wrong?" Y/N asked, concern etching her features.
Wanda sighed, her eyes distant. "I've been thinking a lot lately. About us, about Vision, about... everything."
Y/N's heart raced, fear and hope mingling in her chest. "What do you mean?"
Wanda turned to face her, her eyes searching Y/N's. "I've been trying to figure out what I really want, what makes me happy. And I realized that I've been ignoring something important."
Y/N held her breath, afraid to hope. "What's that?"
Wanda took a deep breath, her voice steady but soft. "You. I care about Vision, but it's different with you. You're the one who understands me, who has always been there for me. And I think... I think I've been in love with you for a long time."
Y/N's eyes widened, tears welling up as relief and joy washed over her. "Wanda, I've loved you for years. I just didn't think I could have you because of Vision."
Wanda reached out, gently cupping Y/N's face in her hands. "You don't have to think that anymore. It's you I want, Y/N. It's always been you."
In that moment, the barriers that had kept them apart crumbled, leaving only the truth of their feelings. As they leaned in for their first kiss, the world around them seemed to fade away, leaving only the warmth of their love and the promise of a new beginning.
The kiss was everything Y/N had dreamed of and more—gentle yet electrifying, filled with years of unspoken emotions finally finding their voice. As their lips parted, Y/N gazed into Wanda's eyes, her heart overflowing with a mixture of relief, happiness, and love.
Wanda smiled, a sense of peace settling over her. "I've been so afraid to confront my feelings, thinking it might hurt Vision or complicate things. But I can't ignore my heart anymore."
Y/N nodded, understanding the complexity of Wanda's situation. "What about Vision? How will we handle this?"
Wanda sighed, her expression turning serious. "I need to talk to him, to be honest about how I feel. He deserves to know the truth, and I owe him that much. But I know he'll understand. He's always been compassionate and rational."
The next day, Wanda took a deep breath and approached Vision. They sat down together in the quiet confines of the living room, the air heavy with unspoken words.
"Vision, there's something I need to tell you," Wanda began, her voice steady but soft. "I've realized that my heart belongs to someone else. It's Y/N. I love her."
Vision listened intently, his face composed but thoughtful. After a moment, he nodded slowly. "I had sensed something was different, Wanda. Your happiness is what matters most to me. If Y/N is the one who brings you that happiness, then I support you both."
Wanda's eyes filled with gratitude and relief. "Thank you, Vision. Your understanding means the world to me."
With Vision's blessing, Wanda and Y/N allowed themselves to embrace their newfound love without hesitation. They spent every possible moment together, discovering the depths of their connection beyond the bounds of friendship.
One crisp autumn evening, they decided to visit the park where they had first met. The leaves crunched beneath their feet as they walked hand in hand, the colors of fall painting a beautiful backdrop for their blossoming romance.
"I can't believe how far we've come," Y/N said, glancing at Wanda with a smile. "It feels like a dream."
Wanda squeezed her hand, her eyes sparkling with affection. "It's our reality now, Y/N. And I wouldn't want it any other way."
As they reached a secluded bench, Y/N paused, her heart pounding with anticipation. "Wanda, there's something I've been wanting to ask you."
Wanda turned to her, curiosity piqued. "What is it?"
Y/N took a deep breath, her eyes locking onto Wanda's. "Will you be mine, officially? Will you be my partner in everything, my love?"
Wanda's smile was radiant, her heart swelling with joy. "Yes, Y/N. A thousand times yes."
They sealed their promise with a kiss, the world around them fading into insignificance. In each other's arms, they found the strength to face whatever challenges lay ahead, knowing that their love was a beacon of hope and resilience.
From that day forward, Wanda and Y/N were inseparable, their love growing stronger with each passing moment. They navigated the complexities of their lives with grace and unwavering support for each other, proving that true love could conquer any obstacle.
And as they stood together on the threshold of their future, they knew that their story was only just beginning, a tale of love and friendship that would endure for all time.

First time in forever I’ve done some Loki fluff so here you go!!!
I’d appreciate it if you read it on Wattpad but it is also down below lovelies 🫶🏻
*******************************************************
"Hey loki" you smile as he takes a seat beside you in the living room.
He just gives you the side eye before opening his book and finding the page he ended on.
"Okay then" you sighed awkwardly unsure of what to do, as you weirdly rub your hands up and down your legs as you sit up.
"I guess I'll go..." you say confused as you start to get up.
"Stay" is all he says.
"Are you sure ?" You question but get no reply but a slight glance your way.
"Alright then" you mumble settling back into the couch as you reopen your kindle.
You give Loki a quick glance and see a faint smile on his face.
You sit there for a few hours reading before people come piling in as the day grows older, settling down to watch next episode of the evening drama.
Loki sighs and get up as this happens, you watch him confused as to why he is leaving and all he gives you is a slight raise to the corner of his mouth.
A few days later you're in the kitchen with a few people having a friendly debate on whether pineapple belongs on pizza (it does not!) when Loki silently walks in and heads towards the fridge.
You watch him as he opens it and rolls his eyes which makes you silently laugh a little. He glances over to you then to what you're cooking on the stove before closing the fridge door and leaning against the cupboard near you.
"Do you want some Loki?" You ask to be friendly.
He's eyes meet yours to check your being serious then he glances back down at the food again.
"If it's not too much of a fuss"
"Of course not" you smile softly, he sees this and his heart skips a beat causing him to return the smile before he quickly corrected his expression.
It felt like a small victory that you just bought a smile out of him, it making your heart warm a little.
By the time you had finished cooking people in the kitchen had fizzled out to do their evening workouts or to go to bed.
You plated up the food and slid it across the island where Loki had relocated to watch you cook,
" there you go" you smile.
"I'm going to eat mine on the terrace, you're more then welcome to join me" you say walking out of the room.
You get seated, overlooking the floral fields on the premises, as you take your first bite you hear a click of the door and seconds later a seat being pulled out from beside you.
"It's my favourite place to overlook, I hope you don't mind"
Loki speaks softly, eyebrows tense with nerves as he waits for your approval which makes your heart soar, you wanted to run your fingers along his face and relax the lines of worry that currently overtook it.
"I wouldn't have asked you if I didn't want you here" your laugh gently, making him laugh through his nose quietly as he claims the seat beside you.
It is a rainy and dull evening, you have found yourself in the 360 bubble that hangs off the side of the building, which you decorated into a reading nook.
Sofa pillows and cushions and oversized fluffy blankets covered every inch of it.
You found yourself distracted from your book as you watch droplets of rain smash against the top of the dome and slowly roll down the curve of it in an almost poetic way, as if it were dancing it's way to the bottom.
You were broken from your trance when you heard the curtain at the entrance being pulled open to reveal Loki.
He was stood there with a new book occupying his hand, baggy black sweatpants on, that same for the top, and his hair messy as if he'd just woken from a nap.
"Oh I apologise" he mutters.
You are frozen for a second, butterflies taking over your whole nervous system as you try to hide your physical reaction to how flustered his look has made you feel.
He steps back, about to close the curtain again when you stop him,
"Wait!" You hurried out, he stops and looks as you with such a vulnerable expression, doe eyes and lip quirked to the side a little.
"You can join me, there's more then enough room for the two of us"
You bite your nails from nerves, just hoping that he'll say yes and fill your presence with that beautiful pinewood smell.
On the other hand, Loki was trying not to combust from his overwhelming crush for you as you sit there with such a hopeful look on your face, pending his reply.
He's sure he's cheeks have only grow rosier since the moment he pulled the curtain back and saw how beautiful you looked with your messy bun and oversized jumper that hung off of one shoulder. You looked so comfortable tucked underneath one of the blankets that laid over the small space, all he wanted to do was join you under it and wrap you in his arms until the stars adorn the sky.
"Okay, if you're sure" he smiles.
You move your feet so there is room for him to sit on the opposing end to you, once he is comfortable he pulls the curtain closed sealing the two of you into your own world of peace.
You just stare at eachothers eyes, both glistening with admiration that you're both too oblivious to read.
A smile slowly takes over your face, you see him glance down to your lips, his pupils growing as he smirks, your breathing quickens at the tension, it's thick enough to cut with scissors, you felt like you were suffocating, like you couldn't breath.
Quickly, you blinked, looking up to the rain,
"I like to come in here and watch the rain run down the dome" you whisper as if it's a mere thought that nobody was supposed to hear.
"Me too. Want to see what I do when I come in here?" He asks excitedly, wanting to enhance the experience for you.
You nod, just looking at him.
A light green glow then starts from the top on the dome and circles it's way all the way to the bottom, as the light went down the muffled noise from the compound and cars disappear.
"It's a silencing spell, so nobody can hear in or out." He explains shyly,
"So now you can fully disconnect from the world and have a real break" he smiles, waiting to hear your approval.
"How can i have a real break from the world if your here" you joke with a grin on your face, looking at him.
You see the happy expression drop from his face, "oh" as he looks down to his book, "I didn't realise I was bothering you, I apologise" he mumbled embarrassed as he sits up from his laid back position.
You quickly grab his leg, giggling when he looks at you confused,
"It's a joke Loki" you laugh.
He huffed out of embarrassment and continues leaving.
You quickly grab his hand,
"Hey, I'm just playing you, I thought you were suppose to be the god of mischief" you tease raising a brow with a playful smirk as your thumb caresses the back of his hand.
"That I am darling" he smiles proudly glancing down to your hands, settling back into his seat innocently, not realising what affect that word just had on you, like he just sent tiny balls of nerves pinging throughout your nervous system, your body feeling fuzzy from it.
You just smile at him because he is still looking at you, you lean back, you hand slipping out of his as you do, then you get back to your book.
The two of you spend hours in there, reading and as the day becomes darker you begin talking about anything and everything again, illuminating the space with warm fairy light your strung along the curtain.
The evening becomes night, the night become early morning and before you know it you have dozed off, sunk into a pool of cloudy cushions and fluffy blankets.
Loki watched as your eyes slowly closed, you fought to keep them open for a long time, he found it endearing as you didn't want to end the conversation you were having but your small mortal self finally gave in as he watched with a loving smile.
As Loki watched you sleep for a while, your chest evenly rising and sinking, he realised that after today he wanted to spend every moment he could with you, whether it be reading, eating, walking, even watching that horrendous show that you settle down in the evenings to watch with everyone else, he'd do it. Because one thing he now loves more then pranking his brother in any way possible, is being in your presence, talking to you, listening to you, looking at you, really anything to do with you, he loves it, as, (although he might not want to admit it because it hasn't been long), is that he loves you.
After a while he carried you to bed and called it a night, feeling happy with the way the day had turned out.
Over the next couple weeks you noticed that Loki was joining everyone to watch the evening drama show, always getting there early enough to get the seat beside you, there was one time when you were sat in between Tony and wanda already, you watched him walk in, look at you and the seating arrangement, clench his jaw and turn around to leave which you thought was odd but it made you feel all giddy thinking that he doesn't want to watch it unless he's beside you so you made sure there's a seat free by laying down and then when you see Loki enter, you sit up giving him enough space to sit beside you which he'd always thank you for. Although you have caught Natasha watching you with an eyebrow raised for a couple days in a row now.
Tonight was no different, you had your seat, laid across two spots, nobody else had joined you yet.
"Waiting for Loki are you?"
You heard someone question.
You look over to see Nat entering the room, you cheeks go red and you stutter,
"What- I- im not quite sure what you're on about."
"I'm a spy I can read the simplest of movements, it's obvious when two people are in love with one another" she smirks, taking a seat by your feet.
"In love?! That's absurd" you huffed, avoiding eye contact.
"Look me in the eye and tell me you don't love him. You save him a seat and in return he brings you a drink and a small snack...every evening" she said before taking a sip of her drink.
You sigh in defeat, smiling to yourself realising that he does do those things,
"Okay fine....I think, I am falling for him," you blush,
"But there's no way he feels the same for me, he's a god for crying out loud" you argue.
"It's all in the eyes Y/N. Just look out for it" she smiles, sitting back with the remote, turning the channel over to what you need.
As if by magic Loki enters the room, one hand occupied with a drink and the other a bowl of Doritos.
You quick glance at Nat and she smiles watching the two of you before you look back to him.
"Hey lokes" you smile softly as you sit up.
"Lokes? That's a new one" he chuckled nervously as he claims his place beside you, legs touching, even though there's enough room between you and the armrest for him to move over.
"Yeah, I don't know where that came from" you laugh embarrassed.
He looks to you, locking eyes with a blush,
"No, no, I like it" he mumbles just loud enough for you to hear.
You just stare at him with your smile reaching ear to ear, your eyes looking down to his lips as your hand rests on his thigh.
Loki is sure he doesn't have a pulse anymore, your touch on his leg feeling electric and sending it places, it shouldn't be going right now, he watched you stare at his lips, running his tongue along the bottom one which he saw made you bite your lip.
He lent back, placing his arm on the back of the couch, his fingers brushing your shoulder closest to Nat.
"Let's see if they finally figure out what happened to this woman" Tony claps as he strolls into the room, making you both jump back. Loki coughs to clear his throat and you awkwardly side eye Nat who is silently laughing at you.
Weeks go past, tension building between the two of you every time you see each other.
You have found yourself hidden away from the world in your reading nook whenever you had time to kill, which you found was all the time when you wasn't training or on missions, because you seemed to find any excuse to spend more time with one another.
You wake up, excited about your plans today, you're getting training out of the way, then you're going to meet Loki for a walk in the meadow before settling down in the hammock on the roof to read for a while.
You meet Steve for your one on one and distract yourself from your excitement by trying to beat him every round.
Once you were done you run to get showered and ready before waiting on the stone bench in the gardens.
Hours went by and there was no sign of Loki so, defeated, you decide to go and find some people inside to hangout with.
You find Tony, pepper, Sam and vision in the games room playing darts.
"Hey guys"
They all greet you and offer you a drink which you gratefully take,
"You not hanging with mischief today?" Tony asks with a smirk.
"Ummm nope, not today" you shrug rolling on the heels of your feet.
"I'm assuming he hasn't asked you out yet" Sam asks casually before throwing his round of darts.
"Asked me out?? Why would he do that?" You huff, nervous of the conversation that is occurring.
"Maybe because you're both like giddy children around each other" Tony smirks.
"We're just friends" you state, ending the conversation as it is. You grab a set of darts and throw them at the board with frustration, all of them hitting bullseye.
You look at everyone smirking at you as you pick them off the board and moving for visions turn.
You find purchase leaning on the pool table with pepper, she leans sideways into you,
"Just to stop your mind wondering, him and Thor have had to go back to Asgard to deal with something"
You look at her as she leans back upright and you both share a smile.
It's been two months since that day and it's safe to say you are hopelessly in love with Loki. Each morning you wake up, your heart yearning for him more than the day before. You've cried a few times over how much you miss him and want to be with him, all you want is to be wrapped in his arms for hours wordlessly.
You're currently in the mission quarters, leaning over a screen with some others as agent Hill talks you through the mission.
Your all suited up and ready to go as soon as she's done talking.
As soon as his feet touched Midgardian soil he came rush in to find you, wanting to just be near you again, for two months his heart has hurt for you and he knows that all he needs for his heart to heal to you see you, and feel you.
After finding out from Clint that you're preparing for a mission he heads straight for the board rooms.
As he enters the quarters he sees a group of you heading towards the jet as you load out of the board room.
He walks towards the board room where people are exiting when he sees you, his breath getting caught in his throat.
You spot him as soon as you walk out the door, so instead of walking straight ahead with the rest of the group you make a quick diversion to see him.
You smile nervously as you stop almost inches away from him.
"Your back" you smile hard enough that your cheeks start to hurt.
He smiled back at you,
"That I am sweet thing" he mumbles as his hand reaches out and runs from your tricep slowly down to the palm of your hand where you decide to take the bold move and intertwine your fingers and step a bit closer.
You say nothing and just look at eachother for a while,
"As much as it kills me, I have to go on a mission" you say as a whisper.
His brows tense and frown takes over is expression,
"How long are you gone for?"
"A few weeks" you sigh.
He just looks at you, his free hand coming up and cupping your cheek before he slowly leans forward and leaves a lingering kiss on your forehead,
"Go, and be safe out there" he says regretfully.
You look up to him and sigh,
"Message me about the books you read while in gone, I still want to hear about them" you smile before slowly stepping back. His hand falls from your cheek and your arms stretch out until your fingers slip out from his grasp as if it were in slow motion.
"Of course" he replies as he watches you jog away to catch up with the rest of the group.
True to his word he messaged you everyday about a new book he had read. Truthfully, he made sure to read one everyday so he had an excuse to message you although it always took you a few days to reply and even then the messages were short because you barely got a break.
Finally, you make it back to the compound, your eyes practically shut from how tired you are.
It was a gloomy day, the day dark although it is only 1pm, you decide as you are walking out of the mission quarters that the reading nook would be the perfect place to nap right now.
So with your shoulder slouched and your feet dragging on the ground you make your way over there.
After what felt like forever you found the curtain you were searching for, you grab ahold of it and pull it open, revealing Loki laid there with a book in one hand and a whiskey neat in the other.
Wordlessly, you climb into the nook, turning and closing the curtain behind you before turning to look at Loki.
"I've missed you so much lokes" you emotionally huff with a tired smile.
You shuffle on your knees closer to him, he just watched you, not a word had been said yet, as he is still processing what you had just said and the fact that you're actually back.
You place your hand on his blanket covered thigh for balance in your sleepy state as you grab the drink out of his hand, which falls to rest on your leg.
He watches you as you down his drink and place the empty glass beside you, which he uses his magic to make it disappear.
You then lift up the blanket he is under and throw it to the other side of his body, you balance yourself on his chest as you climb over his leg so you're knelt between his legs, making him sit up a little.
"Y/N, what are you doing?" He asks, grabbing ahold of your waist as he sees you wobble to the side.
"Fuck the tension and pretending that nothing is there anymore Loki" you huffed with frustration,
"After a long mission like this all I want to do is come home and lay in your arms. But I can never do that because we keep pretending that we're just friends and not in love with each other and I'm sick of it" you whine as you lean forward so your head is rested on his shoulder.
"Let me just sleep" you sob out of exhaustion.
"Okay, okay" he comforts, placing a hand on the back of your head, his other arm as leverage as he slowly lowers the two of you back to lay down again.
He looks down at you and sees that you're already asleep, which makes his heart soar. He uses his magic to change you into pyjamas before covering you both in the blanket he was using. He kissed your head and goes back to reading his book, which he eventually goes to sleep reading.
You wake up in darkness, the windows are stained with leftover rain as the stars glow in the sky. You shuffle slightly to realise you're engulfed in a big fluffy blanket, laid on the god of mischiefs chest.
You look to see him sleeping peacefully, so gently to lean up and kiss his jaw before snuggling back into the crook of his neck.
"Did you mean what you said?" You heard him whisper.
"What did I say?" You ask, not having any recollection of even talking too him because you were that tired.
"That you love me and you're sick of us pretending we're just friends" he recapped.
"Yes" you kiss his neck,
"I do love you and I don't want to hide it anymore" you proudly say, feeling free after confining your feelings for so long.
You feel his head move away from you so you lean your head back so that you're face to face with him,
"I love you too Y/N. I just never said because I said scared to make things awkward" he smiles.
You don't do anything but surge forward and connect your lips to his in a passionate kiss filled with all your pent up emotions that you've felt from him. Your hand moves to the side of his faces and his too your ass as you deepen the kiss, it becoming even more passionate.
You fully mount him so your legs are locked closely to either side of his hips and you hold onto either side of his face, the kiss turning into a full on make out session.
Quickly, you get interrupted by the curtain being opened and his silence spell being broken.
You pull back and fall to lay on him again when you see Nat and wanda stood there.
"We wondered where you had disappeared too when you diverted from the group after landing." Nat said.
"Safe to say she has her priorities straight" Wanda laughs.
"It's not like that-" you try to explain.
"Hey, I'm just glad you guys have finally admitted the obvious" she smiles as she walks off.
"You guys are cute, I'm happy you've finally spoken about the one thing you've avoided talking about for months" she jokes as she closes the curtain, Loki's spell reactivating.
You laugh as you look to Loki who's never looked so shy and nervous before in his life being caught in this so vulnerable in this scenario.
You hold the side of his face and turn it to you, pecking his lips softly.
He reaches up to told the hand that's on his face,
"Y/N would you finally be mine please"
He practically begs with a hopeful look on his face, his sparkling eyes staring into yours.
"I'd love that lokes" you grin, kissing him softly.
You spend the rest of the night cuddled under the blanket, slowly sipping on wine as Loki reads to you and you catch up and converse about what you've missed when you've both been away.

Chapter 18: this is awkward
Word count: 2,145
Summary: you have a day in the lab with bruce
Warnings: intrusive thoughts, panic attack vision is a cutie patootie
⋆✧✦✧⋆
You danced into the kitchen, jumping slightly when you saw Wanda and Vision stood by the kettle.
“Oh uh..”
Visions stare on you was cold and intimidating, as he stood up slightly taking a protective stance. Wanda looked up, a similar cold stare, but slightly softer, more hurt than protective.
“Just came to get a drink.”
You reached the fridge, pouring a glass of cranberry juice. Wanda wanted to ask you about your eating, she wanted to make sure you were okay, but her stubbornness got the better of her, not until you apologised.
It was petty and she knew it, but she also knew she deserved the apology. She watched tentatively as you finished the glass. An awkward silence filling the room.
“Well this is awkward.”
Wanda side eyed vision, truly amazed by her friend stating the obvious. She rolled her eyes turning back to the kettle, pouring the water into a cup with instant coffee granules. She watched as you sulked back out the room. Turning her attention to Vision.
“Why can't she just apologise? I don't even care if she doesn't like me, she does but that's a whole other thing.. my point is, we were finally getting to a comfortable place, why can't she just say sorry.”
Vision pouted thinking slowly,
“You know I'm not actually sure. Have you considered apologising for your behaviour?”
Wanda stepped back scoffing as she stirred her drink,
“My behaviour?”
Vision nodded, putting his hands on her shoulders,
“Well if you want her friendship that much, why not put this aside, and apologise for things she was complaining about.”
Wanda placed her mug down, wiping her forehead,
“Vision that's not the point,”
Vision raised his hand slowly, tilting his head as he spoke,
“Well I believe it is, you see you instigated the argument, and She was clearly emotionally disturbed by something you said. Perhaps you need to be the bigger person Wanda.”
He stepped back as Wanda took her drink, making her way towards the exit of the kitchen.
“Wanda you complain that y/n is too stubborn, but you yourself are just the same as she is.”
Wanda stood slightly, taking in his words.
“Goodnight Vis.”
She made her way back to her room, settling down into her bed. She played her music softly, scrolling through social media. Maybe Vision was right, she knew she was stubborn, but she felt like she was right in the situation.
After a few hours of tossing and turning trying to sleep, she huffed and got up from her bed. Wanda took her mug back to the kitchen, washing it out before drying it.
“You're up late?”
Wanda's head snapped to the doorway, Natasha stood her arms over her chest, Wanda remarked back raising an eyebrow.
“Aren’t you?”
Natasha stepped further into the kitchen, searching the cupboards for a late night snake. She found a twix, pulling it out as she started unwrapping it.
“I was just craving something sweet.”
Wanda nodded slightly, placing the mug back into the cupboard,
“Who won in the end?”
Her words were soft, filled with amusement. Natasha offered Wanda one of the two sticks of chocolate, to which the brunette took a small bite waiting for a reply.
“Tony. Turns out the God of Thunder really isn't the god of Toad on a bike.”
Wanda laughed loudly, finding it amusing how cocky the pair were together. Natasha smiled softly at Wanda’s laugh leaning back against the counter with her.
“How are you Wands?”
Natasha looked up to watch Wanda's face, the way a hundred emotions flickered past her eyes, a thousand thoughts speeding through her mind. Wanda stood up straight breathing.
“I'm okay.”
She spoke softly, nodding. Natasha knew better, but she also didn't want to pry,
“I know that's not true, and it's okay that it's not. I'm here for you Wanda,”
Natasha paused placing a hand over Wanda’s,
“I care about you.”
Wanda nodded again, letting herself become vulnerable with the redhead,
“It's just been all the stuff with y/n, she was so, cruel, over the last few days, and I just… I don't know what to do. I want to talk to her, to go back to normal with her, but I can't unless she apologises.”
Natasha nodded, taking a bite of her chocolate covered biscuit. She knew in a way Wanda was right. You needed to know you couldn't say the things you said and get away with it.
“Well I think you're right, if it's any constellation, I think it's clear you two have something, but you're going to have to sort your shit out if you want it to work. She might not have admitted it, but she does want you, she's young she makes it very obvious.”
Wanda laughed with Natasha lightly, both women finishing their chocolate. They walked together to the doorway,
“Let her come to you, but apologise to her afterwards as well, I care about you just as much as I care for her.”
Wanda nodded firmly, keeping her tone soft as she turned to her bedroom door,
“Goodnight Nat, thank you.”
Natasha smiled satisfied,
watching as Wanda stepped inside her room. Wanda shut the door softly, flopping onto her bed, letting herself succumb to sleep immediately.
You woke roughly, a slight hangover washing over you. You sat up rubbing your eyes, throwing your legs off the edge of the bed. You took a moment to gather your thoughts. Today you needed to get to the lab and work with Bruce, there was a new suit they were working on for Rhodey, just some small modifications.
You ran the shower water hot, singing and dancing as usual as you cleaned yourself. You didn't waste any time, wanting to make your way quickly to the lab and get as much done as you could.
The lift was your personal disco floor for a few moments, before you stepped out, sliding into the lab, you watched as Bruce smiled softly watching you dance your way over to your desks.
“How, may I ask, did you sleep Banner.”
You spoke in time with your music, picking your work up right where you had left it. Bruce huffed lightly, laughing.
“Rough night to say the least.”
You nodded raising an eyebrow slightly,
“What, didn't sleep well?”
Your tone was friendly, trying to get to know your coworker better, after all you spent hours a day together and still didn't know much of each other. You transferred your music to your speakers.
“Yeah you could say that.”
Bruce spoke through an awkward laugh. Of course you were oblivious to Bruce's indications, simply giving Bruce your condolences for the poor sleep.
You stood in front of your desk, tapping your foot in time with the music.
“Really? Jimmy Hendrix again?”
Bruce sighed heavily trying to concentrate on his own work. You gasped in fake horror, snapping your head playfully to the other scientist,
“How dare you?!”
You both laughed, turning your attention back to your work. You let yourself focus on the metal plating you were welding, as Bruce placed more blueprints on your desk.
It was usually the case that you would design and create, and combine Bruce's technology with your engineering. You made a good team and created only the best work. Tony did teach you so a lot of your skills came from him.
“I'm doing a lunch run, you want anything?”
Bruce called from the exit of the lab, his finger pointing towards you. You looked up lifting your welding helmet up, your eyes shaking with your head,
“Uh nothing that I can think of.”
Bruce narrowed his eyes, smiling widely,
“I'm going to get you some pickles.”
He clicked his fingers leaving the room. Working with you so closely meant Bruce had caught onto your eating habits, he knew what your comfort foods were, and although you never said it aloud, he knew you appreciated it.
Whilst you sat alone with your music, your eyes fell to a sharp tool on your desk. You stared for a moment, your mind wandering. You couldn't help but feel the urge to press it against your skin, to watch blood fall. You stood staring, completely zoned out.
Out of nowhere you felt your chest cramp up. You grabbed at your shirt, your breath caught in your throat,
“Fuck.”
You gasped, falling to your knees as you started struggling to breathe. You could hear your heart pounding in your ears, you could feel your lungs pressing against your ribs.
You shut your eyes tight, gasping for air.
“Kid! Shit!”
You couldn't hear Bruce's voice, it was muffled through the loud thudding in your head. Bruce threw the food down onto his desk, running over to help you up, moving you to sit up straight, your eyes watching Bruce's face lazily.
“y/n/n! Hey kid, close your eyes, close your eyes.”
You shut your eyes tight, Bruce placed one hand on your left hand, bringing it up to his own chest. He then mirrored it by bringing his right arm up and placing it firmly against your chest, keeping his breathing steady.
“y/n, focus on my chest, okay, focus on me.”
Your eyes were closed impossibly tight, as you struggled to breath, gasping through each whine of pain. It took a moment but you were able to focus on the way Bruce's chest rose and fell, the tightest and then the relaxed muscles.
Your breath returned to a normal pace, standing slowly sitting in your desk chair as you gathered your thoughts.
“What happened?”
Bruce asked, letting out a huge sigh of relief. You shook your head trying to clear your vision,
“I don't know one second I was fine, the next I just… I don't know.”
Bruce turned back to his desk nodding, grabbing the bowl of pickles and handing it to you. He watched closely as you took a few bites of the first pickle. You felt comfortable enough to eat in front of Bruce, and grateful he had pushed a little bit to get you to eat.
“Thank you Bruce.”
The older man nodded, returning to his work, giving you some space. Once you had finished eating, you took the bowl and plate, announcing that you were going to take them to the kitchen.
You danced in the lift, your headphones covering your ears as you sang loudly. You were still shaking slightly, but nothing could stop you from dancing like an idiot.
As you came out of the lift, you watched Wanda come out from the common room. You jogged slightly to catch up to her, tapping her shoulder,
“Hey Wands have you-”
Wanda teared her arm from your touch, cutting you off as she walked away quickly
“Don't.”
You stood for a moment, watching her walk away quickly, never taking a moment to look at you. You felt an aftermath of the chest cramps catch back up. As you took a breath, you made your way into the kitchen, you placed the dishes in the sink, running the water as you washed them.
“You should talk to her.”
Vision called out from the island, he had a mug of coffee in front of him and a newspaper in his hands. You raised your eyebrow in utter confusion,
“You don't eat?”
Vision gasped sarcastically looking at the mug of coffee, placing his newspaper onto the island,
“Yes and I've read this paper about thirteen times, it just makes me feel sophisticated.”
You chuckled softly, continuing to dry the dishes as you watched the synthezoid curiously. It was no wonder why Wanda got on so well with him when he was such a pure being.
“You should talk to Wanda. She misses your company. But she’s stubborn.”
Vision's tone was compassionate, almost pleading. You could see the domino effect your words had on Wanda. You nodded softly,
“I will, when I'm ready, I just needed some time to process some of her behaviours too.”
You turned to place the dry dishes in the cupboard. Vision stood slowly, making your way out of the kitchen,
“I understand that, and she will wait for you. Don't abuse that.”
You let the words sit with you for a moment. Even as you made your way back to the lab you let the words boil in your head. You spent a few more hours in the Lab, but once you had finished a particular component you spoke up.
“I'm gonna do it.”
Bruce looked up, raising an eyebrow,
“Do what?”
He watched as you got up from the desk, cleaning your mess up,
“Kid? Do what?”
You ignored the older man, making your way out of the lab and into the lift. You were going to talk to Wanda, but you needed to do something first.

Parents & Kids
Bambi!Wanda x Reader
Tumblr media
It started out as such an innocent question. Born from the curiosity of one of your twin deer, hybrid boys, Billy.
“ what happened to my father?” he asked his voice rimming with uncertainty.
That question really struck a nerve with your mate your wife Wanda Maximoff-(L/N). You could see the color practically drain from her face as soon as the question left Billy‘s lips.
“Look at that,” you quickly covered, “boys you’re gonna be later for school”
The twins ran for their backpacks. You gave Wanda a reassuring kiss on the lips and touched your forehead to hers.
“I’ll take them to school,” you whispered, “just worry about Natalie, okay?”
“Okay” Wanda whispered back, her voice shaking as small tears made their way down her face, “thank you”
You drop the boys off at their kindergarten class and haul back to the house. You give Natasha a call saying that you and Wanda need to take a personal day.
“I know Chief,” Natasha replies thru the phone. “Wanda told me about it. Take it slow, okay?”
You arrive home to find your doe pacing back and forth, her usually giddy tail is hanging down rather depressingly.
“Natalie is down for her nap,” Wanda explains as she walks up to you, wrapping her arms around your waist. She just collapses against your chest, little sobs escaping her lips.
You wrap your own arms around her, rubbing her back reassuringly. “I know. I know”
“I-I always thought I’d have more time, my buck” she cries against your chest softly. “I-I barely talked about him with you and…and…”
“Wanda, I know,” you reply. “I know about Vision”
“You do?”
“Pietro filled me in on him. Who he was to you and him. I’ve known since before Natalie was born”
“Why did you not tell me?” Wanda asks.
“You were already under so much duress with the pregnancy,” you wipe away her tears with your thumbs, “I didn’t want to add to it”
“How do I tell our boys the truth?” Wanda wonders, her worries leaking through, “d-do I tell them every detail? Do I tell about my captivity? Do I tell them how…how..?”
Your wife tears up. You hold her tight, gently rocking her back and forth.
“I mean I liked Vis. He was a good family friend,” Wanda tries to explain, “but we were together one time and that’s what led to the boys”
“I have to be honest,” you said with a shrug, “I was always afraid that our boys’ father would come back and take you all away from me”
Wanda lets out a little sad chuckle, “my love for you is deeper than any love I’ve felt for anyone in my life”
You touch your forehead to hers, “our boys deserve to know about him.” You try to formulate, “We’ll just tell them that he died before they were born and never got the chance to know them.”
“But he would’ve loved them too” your doe adds.
“And that this doesn’t change the dynamic of the family we built.”
“Agreed” Wanda says with a sad little smile. You hear the gentle murmurs of your infant daughter from her crib. “Natalie’s up!”
You both rush to the nursery, both of you tending to your daughter’s needs.
School comes to an end. You and Wanda pick up your boys from kindergarten and bring them home. The car ride was unusually quiet.
You gently guide the boys to your couch as soon as you walk through the door. You and Wanda made a quick stop at the Sanctuary before picking them up.
“Billy, Tommy,” you gently tell them, “your momma and I have something to show you-“
“I’m sorry Poppa” Billy says, “I didnt mean to make Momma cry. I just wanted to know who my father was”
“But you’re still our Poppa, right?” Tommy asks. “We think you are.”
You smile, “yeah I’m still your Poppa and you’re still my boys.”
Wanda sits in between the boys, clutching a Polaroid. “This is your father.”
The boys stare at the picture of a blonde haired male deer hybrid. You could tell that he hailed from Great Britain just by his body language and smile in the pic.
“This was Vision,” Wanda explains, “he was…a good friend. Kind, supportive, caring, helped out me and your uncle Pietro when we needed it most.”
“What happened to him, Momma?” Billy asks.
“He died before you were both born,” Wanda replies, her voice dripping with tears and sadness. “But I know he would’ve loved you both”
You wrap your family in your arms and hug them tight, “I know I’m not your birth father but I will always be there for you both”
“That’s why we like calling you our Poppa” Billy replies. A few tears made their way down your face.
Pietro was closer to Vision than Wanda was. The boys would occasionally ask about their birth father but they always reiterated how much they loved you still.
It was circumstances that led to the boys’ birth but it was the love that you and Wanda share that led to a whole family.
A family that you treasure more than anything in the world.

Part one
Tumblr media
You slowly began to regain consciousness as the after effects of drinking got to you, the dull throb aching each vein in your head as you tried to recompose yourself by slowly lifting your head and make up of where you were, the twinge of embarrassment from passing out in front of everyone was also starting to eat you alive, you felt sluggish and weak your body was in a limp state almost as if you were having sleeping paralysis. You slowly opened your eyes to a blurry vision of nothing but random orbs of light as if your body was finally being carried to heaven and that wandas kiss was the blessing that was delivered from the god above.
You were still trying to make sense of where you were the bright lights assaulting at your sensitive pupils you had to squint despite how awful your vision was right now still trying to figure out where you were. There was also a few sounds of inconsistent mumbling that you tried to figure out although another one of your six senses were still fucked up, your hearing. You couldn't help but make out mumbling of a womans voice talking rapidly non stop although there was ringing in your ears there was still a few sentences of concern you could make out from the womans voice like:
"Is she gonna be okay?"
"what if she doesn't wake up"
"i don't know what to do"
They sounded like whines of dread and sadness coming from the mysterious womans voice you couldn't help but wonder who it was. Although you had a throbbing migraine there was also another pair of sentences you could make out but this time it came from a mans voice as you made sense of it, it sounded like:
"She'll be fine"
"Just please calm down"
He was like the reassurance to the womens voice of concern makinf the situation less tense. The dialogue coming from these two mysterious voices was either the alcohol playing mind tricks on you as you didn't even know or remembered how much you drank although you knew it was a lot, or what you drank. You just grabbed bottles of whatever you could find and chugged straight away. Eventually the back and forth sentences started to take more of a physical than mental toll on you as each word that was spoken, you also wanted to mumble out a few words that would come out your throat but there was a heavier feeling than that like something weighing on you, something making your throat clench trying to get to surface level despite your effort to swallow it down. You were powerless you couldn't do anything much longer you heard a object of some sort being placed somewhere near you, right beside where you were about to vomit immediately as you hear that your body convulses and starts to let out everything from your system, whatever you had to drink or eat was ending up in that container.
Your stomach rebels against everything, It's a violent expulsion, leaving you gasping for breath and trembling with the effort, your eyes so watery worsening your vision, the taste of bile burning your throat this continues to go on for a minute at least but soon you start to panic, your chest rising up and down coming in shallow breaths, your heart pounding out of your ribcage, you weren't used to vomiting but when you did you dreaded the moment it would come. But soon you start to come down from your panic as you felt slender fingers start to brush through your hair sending waves of goosebumps all throughout your body as the persons hand made way to your scalp giving you light, sweet caresses, you just wanted to fall asleep right then and there
"its okay.. im here.."
The voice softly cooed to you you hadn't bothered to open your eyes until you realized it was wanda all the memories of what happened before you passed out last night started coming back to you in flashes.
Her kissing vision, she was always mistreated by him and always ran to you when something went wrong or a if a fight broke out between the two. Of course you despised the thought of him, you wanted to be him, you wanted to hold the place of being someone that belongs to wanda. you knew you were the right one for her, but she didn't want you. it made you frown, you wanted to fight against the tears that were starting to build up in your eyes. Wanting to relieve the heart ache of this nature with self pleasure with the thoughts of wanda or thoughts of just going into her arms and being comforted by her smell, like cherries, cinnamon and vanilla. Or her voice that was oh so soft spoken like music to your ears, you smiled ear to ear everytime she spoke a word to you. Most of the time you didn’t listen as you were too busy having dreams of being with her. But you soon snapped yourself out of it as you realized all you have for now is her presence and that's the most you can cherish in this moment. The sight of wanda letting her guard down around you painted a smile on your face and gave you a warm feeling as she continued to coo softly to you calming you down after your panic attack you try to mutter out a few words as you came down from your trance.
"wanda.."
As you spoke her name she propped your head up sliding a pillow underneath your head somewhat assisting you in gaining conscience as you took in what was going on and where you were.
"Im so sorry.."
"i didn't mean to worry you."
You whispered your voice barely above a breath.
Her eyes softened as she met your worried gaze she continued to brush her fingers through your hair as you laid your head onto the pillow she immediately shook her head as she took in your apology
"hey.. don't apologize alright? you have nothing to be sorry for.."
Her fingers continued to trace patterns from your scalp over to your cheek. She softly caressed it washing the tension from your muscles that you were carrying since last night. You felt vulnerable and exposed to her, like her touch was a spell for whatever emotions you went through in the past 24 hours she was the remedy or your guardian angel in a way. A small smile tugged at the corner you finally let your guard down and stopped trying to put on the tough act around her, you believed her, in her presence you felt cared for, understood and not alone.
There were some tears that you were trying to fight as the remnants of your panic attack slowly faded away each swipe of wandas thumb against your cheek fighting against that, easing your anxiety.
"I dont know what came over me..."
You choked up again. There were a few tears that were bound to escape as you spoke.
Wanda's expression remained understanding, her eyes filled with empathy her pupils were slightly dilated or were you looking too much into it?
"i promise you its okay.. please Y/n i hate seeing you like this."
she reassured you, her voice steady and calming. You loved seeing her like this, she would always be patient with you no matter what, well sometimes, it's not like you guys were perfect. Of course there were a few arguments here and there but that never took her away from you.
You hugged her burying your nose into her hair taking in her scent, her skin, the way her arms fit around you like a puzzle piece almost if you guys were made for each other she smelt like cherries, cinnamon and vanilla, again she was a blessing in disguise everything you ever wanted.
It was a bitter sweet moment at first until clint walked in and spoke up disrupting the moment of love between you and wanda
"hey, im gonna take y/n to her apartment.. so i'll just.."
Clint awkwardly walked towards the kitchen counter grabbing his keys from the heart shaped clay ash tray, it brought you memories from when you and wanda hung out for the first time. Wanda decided it was a good idea if you guys went clay sculpting as a "cute date idea" you warned her beforehand that you weren’t a artist and that creative when it came to things that involved art. She also warned you beforehand that she was in the same position as you. So when it was time for her to reveal her clay sculpture to you, you were amazed and teased her about being so talented, which she was, she was oddly good at everything and anything. was it her charming personality? or was it cause you loved her?
You removed yourself from wandas arms noticing her grasp gave you a sense of longing her hands stayed on longer than yours did. Her eyes didn't open to clints voice but only opened to when she felt your weight shift away from hers you could see a sense of disappointment in her body language but you quickly brushed it off as if it was nothing but you knew it was something.
"Call me when you get home safe alright?"
The words coming from wandas mouth made you smile really hard but you held back only smiling a bit to act all cold towards her and put on a front as if you weren't in love with her. But then clint immediately drifted to the front door then he made his way to his car opening first the passenger side because he knew you were still coming down from your hangover he walked over to the drivers side and started up his car waiting for you to get in.
You decided to speak up and finally give wanda a sentence of reassurance instead of leaving her high and dry or just leaving her with the thoughts that were consuming her alive since last night.
"Yeah i will."
Even your tone was cold. You knew what was coming you were mentally preparing for it, you were already distancing yourself from wanda you couldn't take it anymore, was it her fault? no, of course not, she was very dear to you. It was just some stupid feelings you had for her, it wasn't your fault either. If you could ever pick a person to be in love with for the rest of your life it wouldn’t be wanda. It hurt you too much, seeing her with vision one day and then cradling into her arms the next? no it was too much for you. You hated it and just couldn't take it anymore.
For the next few weeks on campus you started avoiding wanda. The messages she would casually send to you daily were starting to turn in messages that were sent once in a while.. maybe once a week at best! you left her with nothing but read receipts either that or you turned it off after a while but she wasn't stupid she knew she wasn't getting left on delivered, You were even starting to take different routes to your classes so you could avoid meeting her or her gaze that you once longed for. Whenever she was brought up in conversation with shared friends you kinda didn't talk at all until the topic was switched. Obviously it caused you heart ache as you forced yourself to distance away from her. You started crying yourself to sleep some nights or soothing yourself the way wanda once soothed you. You couldn’t escape the void of lonelinesses that was once filled by wanda but not anymore because you wanted to distance and “protect your feelings” from her.
You knew things were getting bad when your mental breakdowns started consuming you, it felt like your mind was drowning in a sea of vulnerability and a deep depression that would never go away. In those moments you often found yourself imagining what would it be like if wanda was there with you. She would take you in a warm embrace like a guardian angel fighting against the problems in your head, her soothing voice where she would whisper your name over and over mixed in with words of affirmations or some reassurances telling you that everything was gonna be okay. You depended on her like a lifeline it made you grounded and gave you strength to hold on just for her. You hated that you had to deal with this because of a sore decision you had too make.
At least two months had passed since the incident with wanda, and you kept avoiding her. Initially, it hurt to see how much she tried to keep in contact, calling, texting, even showing up at places she knew you’d be. But eventually, she got the memo as you distanced yourself more and more. You convinced yourself that your feelings for her were gone, though deep down, a part of you knew that wasn't the truth. As the days turned into weeks, the love you once had for Wanda faded, and you no longer saw her as a friend, just a stranger. Did it hurt? Not anymore. You had become cold, and shutting her out seemed like the best decision for your peace of mind. Or at least, that’s what you wanted to believe.
The following day you found yourself at a party it sort of gave you flashbacks to when you saw wanda, how beautiful she was dancing in the flashing lights, everyone else was blocked out from your sight, your bodies pressed against each others as she filled your ears with her beautiful moans, your lips brushing against her neck as you kissed it, her arms wrapped around your neck trying to get more of you, your arms wrapped around her waist as she assisted you what body part to kiss, her neck, her chest. You quickly drank away the memories as you poured another shot of rum quickly drowning your system in alcohol, it was becoming a coping mechanism for you, imagining wanda. but she wasn't there, drinking copious amounts of alcohol it was ruining you physically and mentally. Wanda and Vision had been dating for at least three, maybe four months now? you couldn't keep track since they were so on and off. You hoped that Wanda wouldn't be at this party because you knew if you saw her, she’d want answers about why you had been so distant and you would just give her a quick apology and storm off. The lights were flashing over the crowd and over your face blurring out anyone there except clint because he was always right by your side taking care of you making sure you didn't turn into a drunken mess like last time. The faint smell of weed and cigarettes filling the air around you, making you slightly cough.
You pushed your way throughout the crowd to get away from the packed crowd of people but as you were shoving your way through them with multiple apologies your eye couldn't help but catch a glimpse of vision and wanda together you slowly realized that wanda was here, and she wasn't alone. Vision stood beside her, his arm casually draped over her shoulders. They looked comfortable together, laughing and talking as if they were a perfect couple but you knew deep down that they weren't. A tightened feeling quickly made its way to your throat as you saw vision lay his lips upon wandas. Did she belong to you? no, of course not, but you were once there before. It deeply hurt you. It hurt you to the point where you needed to let your emotions out so you dragged your presence away from clint and made your way outside. As you dragged yourself with tears in your eyes blurring everything from your sight you felt a familiar shoulder rub against yours as you walked away. It was her, It was wanda, you recognized the familiarity from when you guys would cradle into each others arms.
You quickly turned away, hoping that Wanda hadn’t noticed you. But it was too late. Out of the corner of your eye, you saw her glance in your direction, her eyes widening in recognition and her pupils dilating in limerence. The look on her face told you everything: she had seen you, and she wasn't going to let this go. She once longed for you and needed a answer now. Of course you also missed her, she was a part of you, the thought of her consumed you, YOU LOVE HER, YOU'RE IN LOVE WITH HER but you hate that you are because, it's ruining your life.
You made your way outside as you quickly took your phone out of your pocket to order a uber until-
"Y/n."
You almost dropped your phone out of your hand as you met her cold gaze that was once sweet to you but you knew that all hell was about to break loose. Her voice was firm. Too firm.
"y/n please talk to me."
"wanda this isn't the time or place." You quickly shut her out. She was trying to get to you but you didn't want that because of your selfish ways.
“Then when?” she demanded, her eyes searching yours. Her eyes were searching for at least a hint or feeling that showed you cared “You avoid me for months and can't give me a fucking answer?" There she was again, she knew you hated confrontation but this was the best way she was gonna get to you.
"Im going home." You said firmly looking at your shoes kicking against the cold concrete as you started to step away until she took your arm into her grasp
"You're not leaving me again. Im getting you a uber." This wasn't reassurance from wanda that everything was fine but it was a simple confrontational talk of hers.
While in the uber your gaze lingered out the window as you breathed in wandas comforting scent until you turned your head to finally break the silence
"You know, im really happy for you."
"yeah?"
"Yeah i mean, your in a relationship, he's a good looking guy i'm very happy for you two"
The words felt forced you looked at your hands until you heard the sound of wanda chuckling a bit at your compliment, she knew it was false, you hated vision, she knew you were trying to put on a front to hide a feeling.
Wanda got out of the uber first immediately running to your side and opening the door for you, you smiled at her as she wrapped her arm around your waist walking into your apartment complex.
"Keys?"
Your mind was foggy from Wanda's presence, but you managed to gather yourself enough to hand her your keys. She unlocked the door to your apartment and gently helped you onto the couch.
You lay there for a while, hearing the sounds of her moving around the kitchen. Glasses clinked against the marble counter, ice cubes dropped into a glass, and water poured. Her footsteps grew louder as she walked back towards you.
"Up," she instructed softly.
You smiled at how gentle wanda was being, it brought you back memories of the months before the incident with you and wanda. She gently assisted you into a sitting position, knowing you felt a bit sick. Her hands were firm but comforting as she propped you up, ensuring you were more comfortable and less likely to feel nauseous.
Sitting beside you, she propped herself up, her posture relaxed yet attentive. Her presence offered you a peace of mind. With a gentle yet steady hand, she held the glass steady for you, her fingers lightly supporting its weight as you took small sips.
As you drank, you couldn't help but notice the softness of her expression, the concern noticeable in her eyes. It was moments like these that reminded you of what once was of your connection, she searched for a hint of longing in your eyes, a hint of anything that would tell her that you're emotionally available.
"You're avoiding me"
Wanda's voice cut through the silence like a knife, her words soft but laden with a profound sense of hurt and frustration. The words hung heavy in the air like a accusation as you looked at her
"It was a accident."
you lied, the words left a bitter taste in your mouth as you looked at her. you knew the truth—you were avoiding her—but admitting it felt like facing the inevitable collapse of the friendship you have with her or once had.
"You can't accidentally avoid me."
Wandas words started striking at you like venom, you could feel the weight of her words pressing down on you, a crushing weight that threatened to suffocate you.
"you really wanna know why im avoiding you wanda?"
You finally lashed out at her, you decided that this was the best time to pour out all your feelings to her, it was like word vomit you couldn't control or take back the words that were about to come out your mouth.
"i fucking hate seeing you with him wanda."
Tears were staring to slightly spill out your eyes with each word weighing down your chest making you choke on your words the more you spoke her gaze softened at your vulnerability.
"As long as you're happy that's all that matters.."
Wanda's gaze softened, her eyes searching yours for something you couldn't quite name. "Are you?" she asked quietly, her voice barely a whisper.
The question hung in the air between you, heavy with unspoken emotion. It was as if she could sense the sadness within you, the conflicting emotions that threatened to consume you whole. And in that moment, as you looked into her eyes, you knew that you couldn't keep hiding behind a facade of false happiness.
"No... of course I'm not," you confessed, your voice tinged with a rawness that echoed the ache in your heart. "Seeing you with Vision, it hurts me to my core. Sometimes I find myself sitting there, praying that I could just stop loving you altogether."
Wanda's expression softened, her eyes reflecting a mixture of sympathy and understanding. Without a word, she reached out, her hand finding yours in a gentle embrace she tried to take you into her arms but you fought back as you cried more almost having a mental breakdown but you soon let down your guard and let her wrap her arms around you.
This goes on for a minute or two until she pulls you back to look into your eyes and finally see the emotion that she was searching for, for months she just wanted to see that emotion in your eyes that showed a hint of love towards her.
"i love you.. okay? no one could ever change the love i have for you y/n."
Wanda wasn't perfect either of course the kisses, hugs, touch you shared with her, they lingered in her mind, a constant reminder of what once was, and what could have been. She always longed for you, even in the moments when she tried to convince herself otherwise.
"I don’t think I’ll ever love someone as much as i loved you.."
"You're my person y/n."
She looked into your eyes, her gaze raw and vulnerable, revealing the depth of her emotions. You looked back into hers you started to put your guard down as she grasped you in her arms.
You pulled away slightly to make room to see her whole face, she had a demeanor that showed she was longing for something, she was longing for you, for her lips on yours. The words start to spill from your mouth like vomit.
"I love you."
Wandas restraint finally breaks and she hungrily pushes her lips onto yours practically devouring you, you were so weak you let her take control of the kiss for a while until you return the kiss and press into her almost as if your bodies were morphing together but then after a while you give up. She was soft, like the girl you’ve always known wrapping her arms around you to support the weight she was pushing onto you in a hungry desire, she held onto you like she cares. You hold back a bit as you try to prop up onto her lap you struggle a bit but, she finally gives in and assists you by grabbing your waist gently and laying you onto her lap, you started to moan her name over and over some whines here and there, you placed a knee between her thigh you pulled away again as you cupped her face in a bitter sweet moment.
"is this okay?"
She nodded as she looked at you her eyes darkened but not by lust by the love that she always carried for you, as you propped yourself up on her thigh, you started to grind down into her, your core started to slightly weep onto your underwear almost enough to seep through the pants you had on.
"i love you.. so much wanda.."
You moaned out her name very softly. You were breathless almost it felt like your heart was a ticking time bomb that was about to explode any minute, it felt like a dream, you couldn't believe what was happening.
She smiled almost stupidly as she felt you grinding down against her thigh, with every thrust she was in a trance, she couldn't help but assist your movements with her hands placed upon your waist controlling your speed and motion, they soon made their way inside of your shirt as she fondled with your chests making you whimper a bit more.
You could taste all of her, the scent of cherries, wine and vanilla that always kept you longing even more for her was blessing the aroma of your apartment.
Your hands roamed her body, feeling the heat of her skin through her clothes, while her fingers tangled in your hair, pulling you even closer. She deepened her tongue into yours the faster you moved, the more urgent the desire became, building to a climax that left you both gasping for air. Your heart pounded in your chest, matching the rapid pace of your movements as you edged closer and closer. looking into her eyes you couldn't believe you were having this moment with someone you loved for so long. She slowly pulled your body weight off of her, her hand making its way towards the zipper of your pants as she looked at you for assurance to keep going.
As you looked at her gaze, you communicated with her without speaking a single word, your face softened as you took in the warmth of wandas presence you felt your chest flutter as you nodded then her hand slipped into your waistband slowly inserting her two cold fingers into your warm, wet core you slightly hissed at the feeling until you slowly sunk yourself deeper onto her fingers grinding a bit faster. She smiled at you again as she noticed your desperate movements it made her desire for you skyrocket, you finally let out a heavy exhale as you were holding your breath for so long from being so tense from the situation as she looked into your eyes while softly running her fingers through your hair helping a wave of comfort come over you as she pressed her lips against your forehead while pumping her fingers into your core as you breathed heavily before plastering and peppering her faces with kisses. Your movement was somewhat weak from the spell that wanda was putting you under almost as if she was a witch.. maybe a love witch.
"im sorry if it's bad-"
You immediately cut her off with pressing a kiss to her you felt her smile come onto your lips while you pressed against hers making her melt like ice cream.
"nonono- it... it feels so good wanda."
You said almost breathlessly as you smiled and assured her. This gave her more confidence as she started to speed up her movements not in a rough way, but in a way that lovers made love to each other. She felt her wrist start to cramp up a bit so she started using her thumb to draw circles over your clit as you threw your head back giving her mouth enough space to place kisses onto your neck leaving you with marks that were going to be very visible the next morning. More whimpers started to escape your mouth as you almost felt her knuckles go slightly deeper when you plunged your body weight lower onto her hand slightly giving you a sense of overstimulation.
"you feel so good y/n.."
You finally snapped out of your trance still having wandas fingers pump your clit not too aggressively but not too soft but just enough to go at a regular pace you couldn't help but feel a bit of shock as her pupils dilated even more with each thrust she sent to your core she was looking at you as if you were a god, holding you to the highest power or maybe to her this was what heaven looked like.
"im going to..-"
Finally a tight feeling in your stomach started to take over you as much as you tried to hold back for wandas pleasure you couldn't help but be selfish and let your own desire take over. As soon as she heard those words she started pumping her fingers at a faster pace making you slump into her arms even more causing her to wrap a arm around your waist as she lifted your shirt up with the swift movement of her mouth and started sucking on your breasts mumbling a few sentences over and over like:
"You're so perfect."
"I love you.."
In the moment you didn't mind if those words weren't true but you knew later on you would beg to know whether or not the statements that spewed from her mouth were true.
You finally reached your climax as you felt your throat tighten your words were incoherent as they were muffled by your moans of wandas name over and over, your breasts being latched on by wandas mouth causing a wet sensation all over your body, your fingers tangled up in her hair causing a mess, and your core felt empty as she pulled her fingers away from your throbbing core, you noticed the mess you made over wandas hand slowly dripping to her elbow you couldn't help but hide yourself as you nuzzled into her neck. Wanda immediately protested this, she pulled your head back to give you a clear view on how much you meant to her, she slowly brought her fingers to her mouth until you grabbed her wrist trying to fight her from doing the act that would drive her away from you but she pulled away from your grasp and immediately licked her fingers clean as she stared into your eyes with love filled in them. You were shocked from the sight as no had ever been so kind to you something that was yours was in her mouth, more hers than yours now.
Again, she pressed her lips forcefully against you, making you taste the mix of your juices and her lips mixing a feeling of love within you, You pulled away as you tried to catch your breath coming down from your high you were about to close your eyes until you felt her pick your sore body up from the couch and moving it to your bedroom providing more comfort for you both as you laid next to her you couldn't help but smile at the image that you dreamed about for months, it finally came true and that's all you needed.
She let out a slightly shaky breath, her chest rising and falling in a tender rhythm the same way your chest was also rising and falling down while you were still coming down from your high. Her fingers, warm and soft, gently caressed your cheek, tracing delicate patterns as if she was trying to remember the outline of your face. Each stroke was a silent testament to her feelings.
Her pupils dilated with adoration, and you couldn't help but smile from ear to ear at her touch. Yet, despite the bliss of the moment, the intrusive thoughts started to gnaw at you. Desperate to push those thoughts away, you spoke up, your voice barely a whisper.
"You're gonna regret this wanda.. i know after this.. tomorrow morning you'll just go back to being with vision.."
The words slipped out with your breath, and as soon as they did, you wished you could take them back. You watched helplessly as her expression shifted from one of pure love to a sadness that brought tears to your eyes. Regret washed over you.
"Why would you say that?" she asked softly, her voice trembling. Her eyes, which moments ago had been filled with love and adoration, now shimmered with unshed tears. Her brows knitted together in a mix of confusion and hurt, the corners of her mouth trembling as she tried to understand your words. "Why would you think I'd ever do that?"
You looked down, unable to meet her sad gaze, feeling the weight of her emotions pressing down on you with guilt lingering on your tongue. You could almost feel the ache in her heart, the way her hope had faltered in the face of your doubt, you regretted every word you said.
"I- i dont know-"
She took a shaky breath, her hand reaching out to touch your cheek once more, as if seeking reassurance. "Do you really think im that type of person?" she asked, her voice breaking slightly. "That you believe I would ever regret loving you? shit, even making love to you?"
Her words hit you causing you to be a emotional train wreck as the tears that were lightly shedding started to pour out of your eyes as you sobbed reaching for her grasp in a moment of comfort wanting to just run away. The vulnerability of her words really showed you how much wanda cared about you, she was willing to fight for what she believed in, and that made you love her even more.
"I just dont wanna get hurt" You confessed, it wasn't wandas fault that you felt this way but from your past you were so used to partners abandoning you at your lowest and you even begged them to stay, you hated seeing yourself so miserable so when it was time for your college years you started to rely on meaningless hookups for a sense of something but it never brought you anything.
She wiped your tears as she brought you into her arms carefully taking in your scent and ruffling her fingers through your hair to send comfort to you as she shushed you, knowing the more you talked the more you were willing to cry.
"I would never do that to you."
"I think loving you.."
A beat, she sighed for a second catching her breath as she almost started to break down again from the sight of you crying.
"I think loving you was the best decision i made in my life, don't ever let your thoughts consume you like that again okay?"
Her unwavering love, the sheer depth of it all, filled you with a mix of hope and slight regret. You nodded slowly, swallowing the lump in your throat.
"I'm sorry it was just a stupid thought" You chuckled rubbing your eyes as they slightly burned from how much tears you poured out tonight you were slightly embarrassed but you didn't mind since you had wanda there for you.
She pulled you away from her slightly so she can make sure you take in her words with bittersweet promises and love.
"Don't ever push me away again.."
"I love you."
You smiled at her words, feeling a warmth spread through your chest. She leaned in, her lips meeting yours in a soft, tender kiss. you seemed to melt away in her presence as she gently laid you down again, her arm wrapping securely around your stomach. She snuggled up to your body soothing all your worries.
Your eyelids started to grow heavy, and everything around you began to come into a blur. Yet, just before you surrendered to wandas comforting embrace, you managed to gain a bit of consciousness. With a sleepy smile, you mumbled back to her, your voice soft and filled with love.
"I love you too.."
Each touch of hers was a silent declaration that she was willing to stay with you no matter what. Finally lulling you asleep.

Okay so I’m coming to figure out, the hard way, that rewriting the MCU will be tough.
So I think I’m gonna start with smaller non-rewrite fics set in the rewrite universe just to establish what I’m doing and then I’m gonna get into the Black Widow movie (unless I grow up and do the whole of phase one like I was planning to)

Chapter 17: mario kart
Word count: 2,526
Summary: you and Wanda train together diffusing some tension, the team have an evening together playing games
Warning: mentions of SH, angst if you squint, mentions of restricted eating
⋆✧✦✧⋆
You groaned as you climbed into the shower. The familiar sting bringing you a warm comfort. You took a moment to adjust to the water's warm temperature before squeezing a small amount of shampoo into your hand, massaging your scalp thoroughly as you sang to your music.
Of course you sang and danced in the shower, you always did. The dimensions of the shower always made your vocals better and it was so satisfying to hear yourself harmonise with the singers. You smiled to yourself, feeling ready for the day.
You got through at least five songs before turning the water off, stepping out of the water as you continued to dance, letting yourself air dry slightly as you cleaned your teeth. You paused between a few brushes, using the toothbrush as a microphone.
Your private concert was interrupted by a knock at the door. You didn't jump, but you let your toothbrush hang slightly, furrowing your eyebrows in the mirror. You wrapped a towel around you, making your way to the door.
Wanda's eyes fell on you as you opened the door. Her eyes widened slightly, falling to your skin immediately, she didn't expect you to be standing half naked in front of her. A light layer of water on your chest, your toothbrush in your mouth, a small amount of foam on the corner of your lips, your hair messy. She felt her face blush slightly. Forcing her eyes to yours.
She cleared her throat. She felt embarrassed that she was about to ask this but she didn't really have a choice. Regardless of her emotions towards you right now.
“I need a training partner today. Natasha is with Maria and Clint’s got shotgun on the training box so I won't have time to reset it when he's done.”
Her eyes tensed trying not to let her gaze wander. You on the other hand were completely oblivious, happily brushing your teeth. You felt a slight pang of hope, but also anxiety. This was probably going to be awkward and not something you had prepared for at all. You took a breath nodding slowly still brushing your teeth,
“Yeah sure, give me five minutes.”
Wanda stayed for a moment taking in your figure. She had completely missed the fresh cuts on your arms, her body ringing with guilt. You felt slightly confused why Wanda hadn't left yet, your tone raised with concern.
“Did you.. want to come in and wait or?”
Wanda's eyes snapped back to you stuttering slightly,
“Uh yeah sure yeah..”
Wanda stepped inside your room awkwardly, and watched as you went back to the bathroom. She sat slowly on your bed, making herself comfortable as she listened to the music. She laughed softly to herself hearing you singing from the doorway, it was difficult to be upset with you when you were so… you.
You came out of the bathroom, wearing a pair of black joggers, pulling a grey shirt over yourself. You looked at Wanda playfully, still singing loudly. You had one of your more up beat songs playing, as much as you liked heavy metal and jungle, you did indulge in pop and dance, you had Coast by Hailee Steinfield playing, moving your hips quickly to the rhythm.
You watched excitedly as Wanda stood, dancing clumsily to the music. There was definitely a contrast in the level of practice you two had. Regardless of skill, you both felt happy. It was strange, to have gone from being so cold with each other, to behaving like this.
You both laughed dancing with each other, and as Wanda grew more comfortable with the beat she moved herself against you. It was such a small moment together, but it felt like so much more. Like nothing outside of the room mattered.
You pulled your hoodie on, hiding your arms, and turned your music down before finally off. You smiled widely at Wanda,
“Shall we.”
Wanda nodded at your playful bow towards the door, curtseying in return.
“We shall.”
As the pair set up for training, you watched Wanda. You were respectful but whenever you had the chance, you would let your gaze wander. You watched as she stretched, the way her thighs were fitted tight in her leggings. You wouldn't admit it but you watched the way her cleavage almost burst over her sports bra.
When Wanda stood facing you, you threw your eyes to her face. Acting as if he weren't just eye fucking her.
“Come on then grandma lets go.”
You stayed sparring for a few hours, throwing punches and kicks at each other. Lifting and throwing each other at the mat. It was a well practised dance of moves. Back and forth between you two as you continued to level the playing field.
When you were both worn out, sweat dripping from their clothes, you called it. You smiled laughing,
“You're getting better at that.”
Wanda smirked playfully, taking a sip from her water bottle, as she rose and eyebrow,
“What? Dominating you?”
You blushed slightly, taking a sip of your own water before wiping your face with a towel, letting it rest on your neck. You watched as she let out a laugh, retaliating with a quieter chuckle.
You both stood for a moment, listening to each other's heavy breaths, a thick tension filling the space. Before you could enjoy it, you felt guilt washing over you. You still hadn't apologised to Wanda for your commentary, still trying to find the right words.
Wanda on the other hand still felt angry, she enjoyed the light hearted banter they had shared, but she was still hurt and she couldn't ignore it.
“Thank you for this, I'm going to grab some lunch.”
She walked quickly, part of her wanted you to join her, and part of you wanted to as well. But you simply let your open smile fade, nodding in understanding as you watched her leave the gym.
You placed your hands on your hips, stretching your neck to face the ceiling, huffing loudly as you turned to grab your hoodie again. Although it made you uncomfortable to put it on over your sweat covered body, you didn't want anyone accidentally walking into you in the corridors.
You made your way to your room, having a second shower of the day. You made it quick, simply a chore to clean the sweat off of you. When you were finished, you sat peacefully at your desk, pulling out your paints and brushes.
You were in the middle of a painting, a simple landscape of a waterfall, and so far it was going well. You had been doing it for a few weeks, the large A1 size canvas allowing you to add finer details in places where water needed to have reflections. Your talent was incredible and no one could deny your professionalism.
Steve and Tony had suggested you sell your work, but you protested that it was personal, and that your art was more about the process than the audience.
You played soft music, standing to your feet, dancing slowly as you continued painting.
You had already made a mess, streaks of blue and green paint covering your arms and face. You set an alarm on your phone, knowing how easily you got lost in your hobby. You were going to have to clean up before you could make dinner for everyone.
Your brushes moved delicately across the canvas, your fingers smearing certain parts as you mixed colours and textures. You used different pallet knives to mix your colours, all merging into one clump on a board as you contaminated them all.
You practically jumped when your alarm rang, picking up your phone to dismiss it. You began using soaps to clean your arms and face. When you were clear of paint you washed and dried your paints thoroughly. You always took great care of your belongings, your art supplies were not an exception.
You made your way to the kitchen, practically skipping with your headphones on blasting music as usual. You danced over to the fridge, pulling out ingredients for chicken burgers. Like Wanda who was good at baking, you excelled at cooking.
You washed your hands, cutting up vegetables to make a salad, covering them and placing them into the fridge for later. You turned your attention to the raw chicken breasts, dicing them and adding herbs and spices. You put the mixture into a bowl, setting up a pan full of oil.
You got out a bowl filled with bread crumbs and a few spices, next to a second bowl filled with a few eggs, dipping the chicken mixture into the eggs then bread crumbs, laying them flat into the pan and shaping them.
As you let them cook, you began slicing bread rolls Wanda had baked a few days ago, putting a small amount of garlic butter onto them, setting them each on plates for everybody.
“God that smells amazing.” Bucky walked into the kitchen followed by Steve and Sam, taking a seat in their usual places.
“You can say that again.” Steve practically groaned as he tucked himself under the table.
You pulled your headphones off, ready for conversation,
“How was your day guys?”
The four of you began talking, you still cooking each burger in the hot oil. After a few minutes, Rhodey, Bruce and Tony walked in, Natasha, Clint and Maria close behind them, all joining into the conversation.
“How long till they're ready I'm starved.” Thor came into the kitchen with Wanda and Vision, he took a step towards the fridge, taking the salad bowl out. As he placed it into the middle of the table, he took a small slice of tomato, a satisfied smile covering his face.
“Just a few more minutes,” your voice was strained slightly as you placed the rest of the chicken into the pan.
The group poured drinks, shared stories of their day. Dinner was the one meal a day that everyone was together, it was a small gesture, but everyone agreed you enjoyed the ‘family’ dynamic it brought to the team, all appreciating different parts of the company.
You brought the plates round to everybody, some with two burgers, some with one, Thor with three. You then turned, bringing condiments with you, lining them up across the centre of the table.
You grabbed a carton of apple juice from the fridge, pouring yourself a generous amount. You watched as Vision wiped hot sauce from Wanda’s mouth, your eyes softening in admiration. Something about Vision’s and Wanda's friendship was so pure and beautiful, it was endearing for any of the team to witness.
You focused on Wanda, watching the way she laughed at Clint's jokes. You adored the way her teeth showed shyly as Maria laughed. Her cherry cheeks raised as her eyes sparkled. You shook your head, no, you told yourself before taking a sip of your drink, paying attention to the conversation.
“So what's the plan for tonight hm, games or another film?”
Tony spoke, curious to know if he was spending another night watching some movie that bored him.
Vision spoke calmly as usual,
“I would quite enjoy a board game.”
Tony rolled his eyes, laughing at his own joke,
“There's a keyword there ‘bored’ we’re not playing a board game, we are playing a game.”
Everyone mumbled amongst themselves,
“It's okay Vis, we can play chess.”
Vision appreciated Wanda's discretion, smiling at Wanda. Everyone knew Wanda and Vision could communicate non verbally, and in a way it only made them more satisfied with their friendship.
Everyone made their way to the common room. They had all gotten comfortable, some of them across the sofa, some on the floor, Vision and Wanda sat on the chess table contently playing against each other. The group began passing around different kinds of alcohol, already a few drinks down. You took it upon yourself to pour another whiskey, taking a rather large sip.
“Woah watch it kid.”
Natasha spoke, taking the bottle from you, everyone turning their heads to her words.
“You're not even allowed to be drinking, you're lucky we let you.”
Clint laughed placing his own bottle of bourbon down,
“Come on Nat, it's only a few months let the woman live!”
You finished your glass, pushing it away from you as you leant back against the sofa, sitting on the floor lazily. You continued your laughter, sharing jokes and commentary over your game of empire.
They had each chosen a name from a topic, Maria had placed them in a hat, read them all out loud, and each person had to guess who's name belonged to who, whoever guessed right, that player would join their team.
So far, Natasha was winning with Bruce, Steve, Samual, and Thor on her team, the other team being you who had Clint, Rhodey, Tony and Bucky on your side. The last two names were Olaf, and Dory, Natasha had forgotten them, and so was trying to brainstorm with the rest of her team.
“y/n/n,” Natasha narrowed her eyes at you, rubbing her chin,
“Yes nat.”
You had the cockiest smile, knowing Natasha was Dory, you knew you had won.
“Are you….”
You watched as Natasha's head flicked towards Wanda, she smiled widely before turning back to you,
“Are you Olaf?”
You, Bucky, Tony, Rhodey and Clint groaned in unison, you had lost. You smiled widely at Wanda,
“Woah woah, I think you cheated.”
Wanda faked offence, placing her hand over her chest,
“I don't know what you're talking about, I don't see any evidence.”
She grew a wicked smirk, coming over to the rest of the group with Vision, sitting behind you. You turned smiling softly at her, a silent admiration before turning back to the group,
“Well that is bullshit, y/n clearly won.”
Clint scoffed, taking another sip of his drink, looking between Natasha and Wanda.
“Ah but did she say Natasha's name?”
Wanda laughed, placing her leg over the other. Everyone felt safe with each other, happy that Wanda was finally opening back up with the team.
The rest of the evening consisted of swearing and fake punches and everyone took turns on Mario Kart. Tony and Thor were the last two in the mini competition,
“Oh it's on,” Tony explained picking up the Wii remote,
“You really think you can beat the God of Thunder?”
Thor bellowed, gripping his remote tighter.
“You may be the god of thunder but you aren't the god of Toad on a bike.”
The group laughed again enjoying the competitive spirit. Wanda got up from her seat, walking towards the door, speaking as softly as her accent,
“Right I'm turning in for the night, let me know who wins.”
Everyone called out a mixture of yes’s and goodnight’s. And you watched as Wanda made her way out of the room. Everyone else stayed behind to watch the race.
You picked up a half empty bottle of rum, taking a large sip, getting up and making your way to the kitchen, stumbling slightly.
“I'm just grabbing a snack.”
