the great thing about not describing wanda's outfit in this scene in kisses is that now i can describe it in thrall and let me tell you wanda is not doing great here and just didn't bring it up at all.
#musings#bandit writes fic#wagatha five times kissed#i call thrall a companion piece to kisses and this is true#but i have more fun letting myself not feel like i have to keep /exactly/ to the events in kisses#like there's an additional chapter in thrall that doesn't exist in kisses#like agatha gets to see and do stuff wanda doesn't#sometimes the dialogue is different; sometimes the /actions/ are different#wanda and agatha maybe remember or live through things differently#i know that there's a scene coming up that not only is NOT in kisses but wanda DOES NOT REMEMBER HAPPENING#(you'll know it when you get there)#i think that'll be at the end of this chapter#and like - wanda gets the party over two chapters but agatha's getting this in one#i'm not going to show you all of their dialogue that was in kisses because those events aren't important to agatha#the clothes change at the party? YEP.#wanda and sarah having the confrontation in the lawn - agatha isn't part of that; she's inside talking with Davis#like...this is why i like writing this!#i like seeing the different things from agatha's perspective!#and also agatha's very clear love for and knowledge of /magic/ that wanda just /does not have/#talking about agatha and magic is just#i love talking about their relationship#her relationship with magic#ugh#ANYWAY

Agatha All Along (1.01 Reactions):
Love that Agnes is in a “gritty detective series” a la Mare of Easttown. And that the show is trope conscious of that too—Agnes’ more weathered appearance, the tense score, the muted coloration of basically everything. One of the reasons I fell in love with WandaVision so quickly was because it clearly was a love letter to television, and it looks like AAA is going to be just the same. 🥹
ALSO, adore that Herb is here!!!!!
Kathryn Hahn is sooooo goddamn good. The way she plays Agnes being affected by the victim’s death. Hhfhhghhh!!!!!
THESE OPENINT CREDITS YEAH!! AGNES OF WESTVIEW!
So “Dottie” is back, as was “Herb,” but we know from WandaVision, that those aren’t their real names. 👀 Agnes is def. under Wanda’s spell still, but is everyone else
Also, Dottie was totally flirting with Agnes.
Which is totally understandable bc I would worship the ground that Butch!Detective Kathryn Hahn walks on actually
My god, she’s fucking hot
Oough, the burnt library shelves thing was trippy as hell. Maybe this is all happening inside Agnes’s head?????
All the WandaVision/Westview Easter eggs are so nice. 😭
Rio: “Is this really how you see yourself?” OOOOOH. Fuck, that’s psychologically interesting. If Agatha’s subconscious is generating the “show,” it says a lot that the persona she’s articulating for herself is a beaten down loner who doesn’t know how to interact with anyone without putting up five different walls.
OOOOH, whose hair is in the locket?!?!?!
I can already tell that I’m going to be obsessed with this show goddamn lmao
FUCK ME. AGNES STEELING HERSELF TO ENTER HER DEAD CHILD’S ROOM
THIS SHOW PRESSES ALL MY BUTTONS AUUGHHJJJJJKKKKK!!
LIKE, THIS IS REGINA MILLS ALL OVER AGAIN
PRIDE AND PREJUDICE REFERENCE!!!!!! YEAH BABY
Aubrey plaza with those suspenders my GOD
DRINKING BEERS TOGETHER
GAYYYYYYY
HOW AGATHA IS SPREAD ON HER COUCH!! ALSO GAY
I would unironically watch agnes of westview. like yeah baby, give me mare of easttown but gay
Agnes hesitating and even looking panicked when she can’t answer the travel question, and if Rio isn’t actually so… delicate with her and quick to redirect? Bc she knows WHY Agnes can’t answer that question. AUHHGHH!!
MRS. HART!!!!
GJDKSKFOEEKD, DEAR GOD. KICKING A TEENAGER. there’s Agatha coming out
HOLY FUCK AGNES’S REALITY IS FALLING APART.
WANDA?!?!!?!!/!:&&293;$$:&/
A TEAR FALLING DOWN HER FACE FOR WANDA. WANDA/AGATHA REAL
OMG PEELING BACK ALL HER LAYERS FROM WANDAVISION. I’M LIVING

HOLY FUCK IT WAS ALL INSIDE HER HEAD AND HER NEIGHBORS WERE BEING THERE FOR HER. THAT’S ACTUALLY.
REALLY NICE?!!??/!!/!:&3@:&
Buying her groceries 😭
The fact that she hasn’t been lucid for three years. The people of Westview have been caring for her through all of her delusions. Oh, I fucking love that.
Equally, I love that the moment she’s back to being Agatha, she’s horrible as all hell KAKDNFND. Queen shit.
SCRATCHYYYYY!!!
RIO WITH A KNIFE AT AGATHA’S THROAT!!!!!!! “I’ve missed you.” / “I hate you.”

Back to the Future - Chapter Three
Live in Living Colour Series Masterlist
Masterlist
Summary: As you begin to remember who you and Peter really are, the truth of WestView is revealed as you attempt to break free from the endless mind games.
Pairing: Peter Maximoff x Reader
Word Count: 1.3k
Warnings: Major WandaVision Episode Seven spoilers!
A/N: Here’s the much anticipated continuation of Be Okay and Life Could Be a Dream! I had to take more creative liberties than I had intended since we got so little Peter last episode (which is even more of a crime than that beanie), but I hope you guys enjoy anyways!
The hard ground was cold and damp beneath your cheek. Slowly opening your eyes, darkness was only met with more darkness. After your sight had adjusted to the gloom, you could make out a faint purple glowing coming from the walls. It was almost as if it was omitting from the tangled branches warping across the stone surface.
Pushing yourself off the ground, your bones ached as you used what little energy you had left to sit yourself up. There were no windows in the tiny room and the wooden door across from you was more than likely locked. It’s not like you even had enough power to move over there anyways.
With a sigh, you rubbed your palm against your forehead as you tried to figure out how you’d gotten there. The last thing you remembered was asking Wanda why Peter couldn’t remember you as your real memories came flooding back to your conscious mind.
You didn’t know how long you were falling when you landed on the cold evening grass. There was still just enough adrenaline left in your system for you to immediately jump to your feet, eyes glowing yellow as you raised your fists raised as you took in your surroundings.
You were on the lawn of some mansion, the towering stone structure dimly illuminated by the lights left on in a few of the windows. Your heart raced as you turned around quickly, seeing nothing but hedges and grass on the massive lawn.
Although your mind was still racing, you eventually reached the conclusion that knocking on the door was the best option. With your cape trailing behind you, you strode across the grass and up the driveway as you made your way to the front entrance. Despite how intimidating the massive oak doors would normally have seemed, you bravely reached up to the heavy knocker and slammed it down thrice.
Rather than feeling anxious, you felt annoyed more than anything. Of course Thanos would send you somewhere far away from where you needed to be. You only hoped that this really was Earth and you weren’t stranded on some random planet.
You weren’t sure exactly how long it had been when a timid looking man with glasses finally opened the door.
“Can I help you with something?” He asked, furrowing his brow as he took in your super-suited form. A little part of you was almost embarrassed at your appearance, but there were more important things to worry about.
“Yeah, where am I?” You asked, crossing your arms and pursing your lips.
“Uh, Charles Xavier’s School for the Gifted… I’m sorry, who are you?” He replied, opening the door slightly wider as his confusion intensified.
“(Y/N) (Y/L/N). And where is this school?” You said, pushing the topic even more. “We are on Earth, right?”
“Are we on Earth?! Why wouldn’t you be on Earth? That’s not just something you don’t know.” He retorted, and you could see the veins on his hand growing a startling shade of blue. You decided to ignore it, if this stereotypical scientist guy wanted to fight then you could easily take him out.
“Okay, so the titan behind the attack on New York a couple years ago, Thanos, is trying to gather these things called infinity stones to wipe out half the universe. Some of his goons were just trying to get the time stone from this wizard in New York, and Iron Man, Spider-Man and I wound up having to save him, which led to us winding up on Thanos’ home planet, Titan.” You explained, making gestures with your hands as you spoke. “Long story short we were there fighting and he opened some portal and dropped me through it and now I’m here.”
“Oh, that makes sense. Bye!” He began closing the door in your face until something, or rather someone, stopped him.
“Wait!” A British voice called from inside the school, prompting the glasses-clad man to open the door even wider than before. This new figure was bald and seated in a wheelchair, rolling closer to you with a curious gaze. “They’re not crazy Hank.” He addressed the man, who quickly stepped out of the way so that you could enter the building and closing the door behind you.
“Professor Charles Xavier.” He introduced himself, reaching out to shake your hand with a knowing gaze. “You are a long way from home, aren’t you. The reality you remember is much farther away and about thirty years in the future.”
“Wait, what?! Thanos yeeted me back to the eighties?!” You exclaimed, shock and terror flowing through your veins as a gust of air blew past you.
“What’s a ‘yeeted’?” A new voice asked and you suddenly noticed a silver haired boy leaning against the wall nonchalantly. “Are you some Marty McFly Back to the Future-character or something?”
You glared in response as you felt annoyed with this stranger and his childish antics. This was going to be a long night.
The memory of your first meeting with your beloved Peter was enough motivation for you to push yourself off the ground, wobbling on unsteady legs as you rushed to the door. Wiggling the knob to no avail, you took a few steps back and raised your hand in an attempt to blow it off it’s hinges.
“That’s not going to work, you know.” A familiar voice behind you spoke. Whipping around, you saw Agnes, except now her hair was tangled and her eyes were glowing purple.
“So you’re the one doing this. Not Wanda…” You said, sizing her up as the woman stroked the rabbit in her arms.
“Oh no, Wanda is doing this, but I’m the one behind the wheel.” She bitterly smiled. “Agatha Harkness, dear. You see, I needed a Pietro for Wanda but the real one’s been dead just a little too long. Your ‘Peter’ was the perfect replacement, but unfortunately you tagged along when I ripped him from your reality.”
“Peter and Pietro are completely different, Wanda’s eventually gonna figure that out.” You snapped, growing more and more furious with each syllable passing through her lips.
“Peter’s playing his part like a champ! He won’t be missing you anytime soon.” Each word was nails on a chalkboard to your ears. “But don’t worry about being lonely, you won’t be alone down here much longer.” With a swish and a flick of her fingers, Agnes disappeared into a swirl of purple and Tommy and Billy took her place.
“(Aunt/Uncle) (Y/N)!” They shouted, terrified and immediately running over to where you stood. You met them with open arms, holding the twins close in a hug as you whispered that everything was going to be okay in a failed attempt to comfort them.
“Mom said Pietro isn’t really our uncle… Who is he?” Tommy questioned as you let go of the duo.
“He’s not… His name is Peter, and he’s from another reality. Your Mom’s brother died a long time ago, but Agatha brought him over because technically they are the same person? I think? I’m not sure how it works, but they are both Maximoffs and Peter has a little sister named Wanda, too. It’s complicated, but that witch is controlling him.” You explained, answering questions that you didn’t really understand yourself.
“You’re thinking really loud…” Billy commented, holding his head in his hands as he attempted to block out the noise of your mind rushing a hundred miles an hour.
You opened your mouth to respond, but before you could talk you felt a gentle tap in your mind. Then another, this prod slightly stronger. And again, the poking becoming quite the nuisance.
“Billy, please don’t try to read my mind.” You said, staring into space as you attempted to keep the child out of your thoughts.
“I’m not.” He replied, dropping his hands to his sides as me met your eyes with a look of confusion.
You matched his puzzlement, the poking continuing and becoming even harder to ignore. Maybe it was a lapse in judgement or your exhaustion catching up to you, but you decided to drop your defences and let this strange presence into your head.
“(Y/N)? (Y/N), can you hear me?” A voice in your head asked.
“Charles!”

Chapter 19 - Part XIX - The Seventh Yearh (Part Four)
The tent is already set up, and you are sitting in the living room, adjusting the radio on the kitchen table.
"Are you sure it was working before?" You mutter discontentedly, beginning to feel frustrated with the device that refuses to recognize the signal.
Wanda, who is standing next to you with a magic book in her lap, doesn't take her eyes off the reading when she answers yes.
Agatha comes out from inside the room with several objects in hand, and dumps them on the table in front of you.
"Well girls, what I have to do in this country can only be done during the day, so let's study in the meantime." She announces as she arranges the jars she has brought. You raise your eyebrow, pushing the small radio away.
"Actually I wanted to ask a few questions and finish going through the memories, Agatha." You say but she laughs, denying with her head.
"That's exactly what I'm talking about." She says. "Are you trying to lose your mind completely? You can't use zinnia for too long. It destroys that fragile mind of yours. I'm sure that's part of the curriculum, so what are you doing at Hogwarts if not studying?" She sneers and then looks at Wanda. "Oh wait, I know what kept you busy."
You turn red, but before you can complain about the woman's lack of description, Wanda is speaking.
"In case you have forgotten, we learned about zinnia in fifth grade." She says. "And Hogwarts was not an example of any teaching in that period or the year after for Y/N."
Agatha rolls her eyes, shrugging to end the teasing. You feel too embarrassed to look at Wanda again.
"Well, I'll go and fix Kaecillius' damage to my school administration then." Says the teacher. "If Miss Stark intends to become a decent witch, she needs to learn magic. The same goes for you, Miss Maximoff."
"I know magic, Agatha." Wanda begrudgingly retorts, her gaze returning to the book.
"If I remember correctly, my tutoring was discontinued, so there is much you need to learn."
"You remember it well, yes. We had to break off relations because you attacked my girlfriend." Wanda returns the teasing, but Agatha only laughs lightly as she begins to do some mixing.
“Water under the bridge, now.” She mutters, and soon, she’s putting a cup in front of you, and pouring a clear liquid inside.
"No, thank you." You say, leaning your arms on the table. Wanda gives a short laugh from your side without taking her eyes off the book.
"It's not poison." Agatha says.
"I know, I've seen you do it." You say. "I just won't drink it because it would be the second intoxication in less than 24 hours."
Agatha laughs, pulling the glass back to herself. A proud smile on her lips because you were able to recognize that whatever she was doing, it wasn't ready yet.
She charms the mixture, purple magic touching the liquid, until the color changes to a brilliant gold.
She pushes the glass back, and you raise an eyebrow.
"Drink."
"No."
"Wanda, darling, drink this." She says pushing the glass toward the girl. The witch sighs, her eyes on the book.
"Don't drag me into it, Agatha. " She says. "It was you who told her not to accept drinks from strangers."
"You two are so annoying." The witch declares. You giggle, but accept the drink.
For the next hours, Agatha teaches you to recognize the smell, and then the taste, of different plants, so that if you do get poisoned, at least have time to try something.
It's dinnertime when she decides to wrap up with one last potion, and you're resting your head on the table, waiting for her to finish brewing the potion, the book she's enchanted floating in the air beside her.
"Here." She says pushing the bottle in front of you.
It is only when the potion touches your lips that you recognize the taste. The same elixir Agatha gave you in the dungeon.
Your body tenses, and you cough awkwardly, pushing the cup back to her while she watches you attentively.
“W-why would you…” You started feeling your chest hurt, your heart racing. Swallowing the emotion away, you look at her, but Agatha is already organizing everything.
"What did you do?" Wanda asks worriedly, noticing the way you have gotten jumpy. Agatha sighs.
"Trauma can be a powerful thing, Miss Stark." Murmurs the older witch. "An immense vulnerability to an opponent to take advantage of. You'll need to overcome that if you want to protect her."
You stand up, feeling embarrassed and overwhelmed, evading Wanda's touch on your shoulders. "I'm going to bed."
"I didn't mean to upset you, Miss Stark." Agatha says, but you are already leaving.
You hear Wanda slam the book down hard on the table before following you back into the bedroom.
As you sit on the bunk, trying to normalize your breathing, she kneels in front of you, her hands on your neck.
"What happened?" she asks worriedly, her fingers caressing your skin.
"It 's stupid."
"Tell me."
You sigh, looking down at your own lap. "It's the same potion she used on me, in the dungeons. To keep me awake."
"I'm going to kill her." Wanda says simply, but when she makes mention of getting up, you hold her in place.
"Hey, it's okay." You say quickly. "She's messing with us, again. But I don't think she really meant any harm. Besides, we have an agreement don't we?"
But Wanda had an anger in her gaze that you have never seen before, her jaw locked. You touched her cheek with your hand.
"Wanda?"
"I hate this, Y/N." She confesses between teeth, her eyes filling with angry tears. "I hate what she did to you. I hate that I can't change, take your pain away. Not being strong enough to protect you. Or smart enough to see that she was using me an-
"Wanda, stop it." You interrupt seriously, and as your hand moves down her neck, you feel the metal of the necklace. Sighing softly, you keep your attention on the green orbs in front of you. "I really want to take away all the guilt you feel before it eats you alive, but I don't know how. Tell me how to help you."
Wanda seems surprised at your words, and just looks at you. And then to your lips, and you feel her breath hitch, before she puts a little distance between your faces.
"I'll be fine." She assures you with a sad smile. "My priority is whether if you will be as well."
You smile at her. "I'm only okay when you're okay, Wanda."
It sounded romantic in your head, but maybe those weren't the words you should have chosen, because Wanda looked away immediately, almost embarrassed, and not for the right reasons. Swallowing dryly, she got up from the floor.
"I-I'm going to talk to Agatha." She declares. "About boundaries. This won't work if we don't have any." She walks away to the bedroom door, but before she leaves, she turns to you again. "I'm also going to heat up dinner. Join us if you want."
But you wouldn't. You weren't hungry, and you were feeling stupid for saying that just hours after you heard Wanda confess that she hated that your life depended on hers.
So you threw yourself on the bed, and tried to get some rest.
You ended up oversleeping. And you only woke up because Wanda was having a nightmare in the top bed.
Moving quickly out of the bunk, you stood, turning to check on her.
A frown even with closed eyes, wriggling slightly in bed. You sighed with concern, tracing the skin of her face to wake her without startling her.
When she had a small jolt, her eyes were red, but they returned to their normal color when she realized she was only dreaming, and threw her face back into the pillow.
"I'm sorry." She murmured in a hoarse voice, but you just supported your arms on the mattress, and your face in them.
"For what?"
"For waking you up." She retorts, turning to lie on her side, and face you.
"No problem." You say. "I guess in a way I'm returning favors."
Wanda smiles, but it is so short that you feel awkward. And then you extend your fingers to her neck.
"Why are you still wearing this?" You ask about the necklace, and she frowns slightly, turning back to stare at the ceiling.
"Agatha hurts you when she wears it." She says simply. " So I will wear it to avoid that."
You shake your head. "No way, take it off now."
Wanda moves further away, on the edge of the bunk. You sigh impatiently, and climb onto the mattress.
The metal makes a noise with the new weight, but you are busy trying to get the necklace off Wanda, who grumbles and tries to struggle against your hands as she tries to keep you from falling off the bed.
You end up on top of her, the necklace in your right hand, but your other hand dangerously close to her breasts.
"Don't wear it for long." You tell her half out of breath from the struggle and the closeness, Wanda is looking at you wide-eyed. "Let's switch whenever it starts to get too much, okay?"
"Y-yes."
"Wanda, you're blushing." You tease with a smile, watching her cheeks. She looks at your mouth, frowning.
"No I'm not."
"Is it because I'm on top of you, baby?" You continue, and she turns even redder. You were going to tease her further, but while you were talking, you had moved to put the necklace on.
And when the object hung around her neck, all the tension changed.
You looked into Wanda's longing gaze and could only remember that she chose to leave you. Without asking your opinion. Without caring about your feelings.
So you pulled away, with a neutral expression, laying down on the bed beside her.
There is a silence between you, Wanda is trying to control her heartbeat and you are trying to push so many doubts that pop into your head at once.
"I think if you're not going to be with me, we shouldn't do this kind of thing anymore." You state simply, and can hardly be bothered by the way Wanda stands tense beside you.
And there is a long pause, until she speaks. "Okay."
You want to scream at her lack of reaction. All you do is stand up, and leave the room.
From that distance, you cannot hear Wanda crying against the pillow.
//-//-//-//-//
It doesn't take long for you to realize that wearing the necklace is addictive.
The deal is not more than four hours for each, but every time the object is hanging around your neck, you are gripped by the urge to keep it with you.
There is a whisper in the back of your mind saying that Wanda could lose it, or break it, and it's hard to push those lines away when you need to give it back, but you manage. And you wonder if Wanda thinks the same things.
When you are wearing the necklace, you feel apathetic and angry. It's as if all the bad things that have happened to you reach the surface at once. You give short answers, and isolate yourself. Your mind sighs things that you think you should remember are lies.
Agatha is trying to make you a better witch. The same for Wanda.
She teaches you things you don't know, from books you've never seen.
But with weeks of running and camping, and the horcrux around your neck, you begin to grow impatient with the lack of answers.
So you are breaking a plate without realizing it.
"Fuck." You grumble in irritation as you feel the pain of the small cut on your hand. The noise has attracted the other two women, and it is Wanda who reaches for you first, but when she touches your forearm to pull your hand and see the cut, you move away as if you have been slapped. "Don't."
And you throw the dishcloth on the table, leaving the tent.
You are somewhere in northern Ireland, Agatha said it was at least.
And there are many trees obscuring your surroundings, but you walk among them without caring about getting lost. The necklace whispers that you should be alone, and you believe it.
The cut on your hand aches a bit, but you stop only when you reach the edge of a lake.
Maybe the icy water will calm your anger. Or maybe you will die of hypothermia and Wanda will live happily without you. The last thought made your stomach turn, but you kept taking off your clothes.
The necklace was cold against your skin, but no colder than water.
You dove in, and stayed under the water until you needed to breathe again.
The tears on your face were tears of frustration, but the lake wiped them away.
You wondered if they would leave without you.
If Wanda would run away and abandon you in Ireland.
She didn't want you to stay with her after all.
She didn't want you.
You sobbed.
And you went back under the water until you stopped crying.
But then someone jumped into the lake, the noise startled you.
You opened your eyes to find Wanda's terrified look under the water before you ascended together.
"Merlin, what is your problem?" She squinted in desperation, and you realized that she began to cry. "I thought you were-"
But she sobbed without being able to complete, and you shrank back against the cold water, hugging your body. "I just went for a swim."
"Don't ever do that again." She pleads between tears, throwing herself against you in a tight embrace, which you don't reciprocate.
The horcrux screams in the back of your head, like a loud whistle, and you are pushing Wanda by the waist. "I'm fine, we can go."
You walk out of the lake in a mechanical manner, ignoring the upset look Wanda has as you do so. And you put on your clothes in silence, until you are standing clumsily at the edge.
Before you return however, Wanda calls out to you.
"Take it off."
"I still have time." You mumble without looking at her, but Wanda is approaching and you clench your jaw.
"I wasn't asking." She says and you lock eyes with her in defiance, not moving. When she is close enough to pull out, you move forward and kiss her on the mouth.
She sighs affected, almost losing her balance. And when she motions to kiss you back, you pull away.
"Don't touch what isn't yours." You don't know if you're talking about the necklace, or your body, but either way Wanda's eyes fall to your lips, and she holds her breath.
"I wasn't." She whispers, and without losing her composure, her hands go up your arms until they reach your neck, and she is so close that you ignore the urge to keep the necklace, and let her do whatever she wants. Her fingers find the item. "The necklace belongs to any worthy slytherin. And you, darling, you have always been mine."
You sigh as the necklace comes off, and Wanda throws it on the floor the next moment.
This time, it is she who breaks the distance, bringing your mouths together in a passionate kiss.
Your head spins, and you surrender. Her hands go to where the necklace was, and her tongue invades your mouth without waiting for permission, taking you for herself, making you gasp.
Thrusting your body forward, with your hands on Wanda's waist, you press her against the tree behind her, never breaking the kiss and making her sigh at having your body so close.
You are kissing each other firmly, with longing. You breathe breathlessly against each other's lips, afraid that if any of you pull away you will be done for good.
Your hands start to move down before you can think about it, and when they reach Wanda's ass, you squeeze the flesh against your hands, and she moans against your lips, thrusting her hips forward, begging for more.
There's not the slightest possibility that your first time with Wanda would be in a forest, in the middle of the snow, but when she bites your lips and kisses you like this, it doesn't seem so impossible. It gets hard not to think about getting down on your knees, tasting her where you imagine she would like it.
"We shouldn't." She manages to whisper between kisses, in the mess you two have become, and all you do is move your lips down her jaw, and then her neck. And Wanda whimpers, digging her fingernail into your shoulder. "Please."
You don't know if she is asking for more, or to stop. The second option breaks your heart, but you follow it, breathing out of rhythm as you pull your lips from her skin, pulling away.
Wanda's lips are swollen from kissing hard, her pupils dilated, her chest heaving. And you want to kiss her again, but you just swallow dry and put more distance between you.
"W-we should go back." You mumble in a hoarse voice, looking down at the ground.
"There you are!" Agatha's voice makes you jump in fright, and so does Wanda. The tension turned to shame of you being found, with clearly visible appearances of what you two were doing. But the older witch doesn't mind, a teasing smile. "Busy?"
"I just came to check if she was okay." Wanda answers quickly, clumsily as she bends down to pick up the necklace she threw on the floor.
"I imagine so." Agatha mutters. "We need to go, we didn't come here for nothing."
The way back is silent, you don't have the courage to face Wanda, but she has put the necklace back on, and isn't looking because she must be hating herself, again.
And you bite the inside of your cheek, not knowing what to do.
Agatha is whistling, and you realize that you are not going back to the tent.
"Where are we going, Agatha?" You ask curiously, and she replies still looking forward.
"Your father really did have friends in all places, Miss Stark."
You frown, but it is Wanda who speaks. "Vague answers don't make you sound mysterious, Agatha. They just annoy me."
The older witch laughs at the comment, but you think you must be too affected by the make-out session, because Wanda's locked jaw makes you wish she would just kiss you again, non-stop this time.
Clearing your throat, you look away, and decide to follow the two other witches in silence.
“We are here to see a quite despicable sorcerer, who is going to make mean and unkind remarks, and you are going to be silent so that I can go on."
You exchange a look with Wanda, who has an expression of indignation on her face.
"I can' t promise that, Agatha. " She says. "Wouldn't it be better to leave us in the tent?"
"So you can be grabbing each other like two animals in heat?" She retorts and you choke in surprise, looking away to the ground immediately. "I don't really care, but I need Stark, because Tivan owed Howard a favor and only agreed to deal with her present. And well, I expected you wouldn't let her come alone with me."
Wanda completely ignores Agatha's teasing to reply "You're right, I don't trust you."
"Thanks, sugar." The witch retorts, causing the younger girl to roll her eyes impatiently. "Do me a favor and keep that necklace well hidden. Or give it back to me."
"No." She answers quickly. "I'll keep it."
"As you wish." Agatha says and you stand in silence as you walk through the small village.
It is really very quiet, and the few people on the street don't bother to look at you guys at all.
And then you are at the gate of a huge mansion, and Agatha is telling the gatekeeper that you have an appointment with the "collector."
"Why do you call him that?" You ask, and she gives a little laugh.
"You'll understand in a minute."
You walk down the front steps to the door.
And when you enter, you hold your breath.
It is no ordinary house, it is a long dark corridor, magically enchanted and giving you the feeling that it is endless, with the same doors for miles and miles forward.
A girl about your age is waiting, and she smiles politely at the three of you.
"Miss Harkness, you have finally managed to join us." She says. "My master is waiting for you and Miss Stark."
"Miss Maximoff will be joining us tonight as well dear. I hope Tivan doesn't mind." Says the witch following the other down the hall.
"Every friend of Howard Stark is welcome, my master said." The girl says simply, and you see Agatha sigh. She seems annoyed by the other's submission, but says nothing.
You stop in front of a double door, white in prominence with the darkness of the hallway.
The girl opens it, and you enter a huge room, with the ceiling so high that even if you squint your eyes, you can't see the end. And it reflects the stars.
A tall, strong man wearing a leather dragon coat is waiting inside, and he flashes a smile that does not reach his eyes. His hair is as white as the door.
"Agatha! It's so good to see you again, old friend." He says with open arms, but reaches up with outstretched hands, catching Agatha's quickly. "Did you have a peaceful trip?"
"Hardly, Tivan, I'm a fugitive now." She jokes causing you and Wanda to exchange worried glances, but the wizard doesn't seem to mind, laughing at the phrase. "And don't call me old, we're only a few decades apart!"
Tivan laughs again, letting go of the witch's hands. He turns his face to you, and looks at you with glowing eyes.
"By Merlin, you are Stark's daughter." He says. "You have the same eyes as Melissa, no?"
You look embarrassed under his gaze. It's evaluative, and Wanda seems to notice it too, because she covers you gently, and draws the man's attention to herself.
"Oh, and who are you, sweetheart?"
"This is Wanda Maximoff, Tivan." Agatha replies earnestly, and you are surprised at the scolding. "And no, they're not for sale."
You widen your eyes, understanding the reason behind his name. Wanda's hand slides into yours immediately, covered by the cape.
Tivan gives a short laugh, "That's a shame, Harkness. You know very well the value of a scarlet sorceress. Even more a pretty thing like that."
You take an aggressive step forward, but Agatha quickly stands in your way.
"Let's finalize everything soon, Tivan." She urges. "I can't stay in places for too long. I'm sure you can understand the feeling."
The man gives you and Wanda one last look before nodding to Agatha, turning to walk toward the bookshelves on the right side in the room.
There are several shelves, with many items, and just like the hallways, extend into what seems like infinity.
Tivan just goes to the first one, and pulls out a small chest from there, enchanting it to follow him in the air to you.
"Here it is, Agatha." He says. "Howard Stark's last translator."
You widen your eyes as the chest opens. Inside, there is a small metal device. Very different from any of your father's other machines, it looks much more rudimentary.
Agatha sighs softly, lifting her fingers to trace the object.
"And you assure me it works?" She asks, and the man chuckles softly.
"I have plenty of monsters in there if you want to test it."
You swallow dryly, but Agatha just smiles. "No need, you are many things, but a liar is none of them."
"I appreciate the confidence, Agatha." He says as he moves his fingers and magically closes the trunk. "But pay before you play."
The witch doesn't look offended, she just hurries to fiddle with her robes, and you widen your eyes when she takes out a necklace.
Kaecillius' gift, the eye of Agamotto.
"That's not yours to sell!" You blurt out angrily, but Agatha keeps the item out of your reach, while Tivan seems impressed by the whole scene.
"And neither is yours, Miss Stark." She retorts impatiently. "Be quiet while the adults talk."
"Are you serious? How did you even get it, it was in the house-"
"Quiet!" Agatha cuts in turning to you, her tone is angry, but her eyes are almost pleading. "That's enough of this. Don't disgrace the good manners your father taught you."
You are indignant, but Wanda's grip around your hands makes you believe it is better not to insist.
"Play along." Her voice sounds in your head the same second Agatha turns to Tivan again, and you swallow dryly, trusting her.
"Interesting." The man murmurs, impressed, but doesn't keep his gaze on you. His attention shifts immediately to the necklace Agatha hands him.
"As you can see, it's real." She says. "A fair price for another relic, or even more valuable, since you will find no use for the translator."
Tivan grimaces. "Don't push it too far, Agatha. The translator became quite valuable with Stark's death. No one was able to reproduce another one." He says as he looks back to the witch. "Actually, I think I should raise my price." He says curling his fingers in the necklace, thoughtful as you watch Agatha tense up before relaxing.
"Now I'm the one who's going to ask you not to push it so far, Tivan." She says. "Agamotto is also dead, and that's the only treasure of his you'll get. Don't try to change the value just because you don't know how it works."
Tivan looks offended, but only for a second, because his gaze softens and he laughs. "Right, right. Any chance you know what's inside?"
"I have no idea." She says, but a part of you thinks she is lying.
The man nods, and the trunk moves gracefully through the air into Agatha's hands. She takes the small device from inside, and stows it inside her cloak.
Tivan takes his eyes off the necklace in his hands to look directly at you.
"I have a question for you, Miss Stark, before you go." He says, and Wanda squeezes your hand from behind the cloak, but you just stand there, waiting for the man to speak. "Did your father ever mention New York to you or your brother?"
"Tivan..."
"I asked the girl, Agatha." He interrupts the witch seriously. You think she doesn't insist because you are in his house, and a wizard like that, should bring trouble if contradicted. "Well?"
"No, sir." You say uncomfortably. "I don't know any New York stories."
The man gives a disappointed smile. "I suspected, but I wanted to hear you say it." He declares straightening his posture, and the necklace flies through the air until it vanishes among the bookshelves as Tivan walks back to the center of the room. "I would invite you for tea, but I understand the rush. You should know that I am always up for new negotiations with you, Agatha. And the same goes for the Scarlet Witch and her protector."
Agatha bids a quick farewell, pushing you gently out of the room.
"Don't look back, or the hall will get longer. Just keep walking." She guides in a whisper, and you think it best to obey.
The exit does seem to take longer, but you manage to reach the door. The girl from before was already waiting for you all, her arms behind her back.
"Thank you for your visit, Miss Harkness." She says politely. "My master is pleased with the acquisition this evening."
"I'm sure he is, dear." Agatha says, and touches the girl's arm gently. "Take care of yourself, okay?"
The girl just smiles, nodding almost mechanically. Agatha hesitates, but walks away.
As soon as you are outside the property, Wanda is yelling.
"I can't believe you stole from me, Agatha!" She squawks angrily as you all walk back into the forest, and the older witch just grumbles displeased at the volume, speeding off. "I told you this wouldn't work if you kept lying!"
"Would you have given me the necklace in good grace?" She retorts impatiently, but doesn't even wait for Wanda to answer. "Of course you wouldn't. Because you don't know what it is, but you're smart enough to know that it's not something ordinary. And too stubborn to willingly hand it over, not to mention you don't trust me, Wanda. I did what was necessary for us to make some progress."
"No more lies, Agatha!" Wanda insists in a mixture of frustration and irritation. "Stop hiding things. You could have asked, explained what you were going to do!
"Witches don't do that, Wanda." She retorts impatiently. "I've been alive for how many centuries, child. Do you think you can survive by telling everyone what you were going to do? No. You go ahead and do whatcha you gotta do, that’s the truth. Secrets save lives.”
"That's such bullshit." The brunette retorts, but you are almost back in the tent area, and Agatha is stopping walking.
"Give me the locket." She says, and Wanda frowns. "Let's get this over with quickly."
"What are you talking about?"
"That's why I needed the translator." She clarifies. "I went to Stark Manor last year, looking for this in the wreckage, but the walkers found it first. And it circled the dark market for months until Tivan acquired it in his collection. It's just what I need to open the horcrux and destroy it."
You look surprised and impressed, but Wanda crosses her arms.
"And how do you intend to do that?"
"Six years ago, Pietro Maximoff took Godric Gryffindor's sword out of the selector hat at my request." She counters drawing surprised exclamations from you and Wanda. "I didn't let him remember that, and I spent the last few years fortifying the metal with every kind of magic I could find. The poison from the monsters you didn't face in the labyrinth in the fourth year because I was hunting them out, or the blood from the dragon you killed in the first task. Everything. The goblins wrote to me that the sword only absorbed what could make it stronger, and even without knowing the location of the horcruxes, I needed to be ready to destroy them."
"How did you lose the sword?" You ask then, trying to fit the whole story together. Agatha sighs.
"Pietro deserted Hogwarts." She says. "The sword immediately disappeared, it went back into the hat. And I had to go back for it."
"If you had the sword and the locket, why didn't you destroy it?" Wanda questions, and seems very annoyed at the information that Agatha also used Pietro.
"Because I don't know parseltongue." She replies. "But with this, I don’t need to and I can open it."
You exchange a look with Wanda.
"This conversation is not over, Agatha." She says as she moves her hands to remove the necklace.
Agatha turns toward the tent, raises her hand from where her magic is visible between her fingers, and it takes a moment for the sword to fly toward her, gracefully fitting between her fingers.
But she hands it to you.
"I have a feeling it needs to be held by a Gryffindor." She says and you frown.
"Do you have any argument to support that?" You ask as you pick up the sword.
"It's just a guess." She says as she takes the translator out of her pocket.
She gestures for Wanda to leave the locket on the ground, and she does so a few inches away from you so that you have room to wield the sword and destroy it.
"Well, let's get this over with." Agatha says with her attention on the object in her hands. "Help me understand the language of the snakes."
The small object trembles with Agatha's whisper, and when it ascends a golden light between the openings, she continues.
"Open it."
The sound coming out of the metal is unlike anything you have heard. But as soon as it becomes silent, the locket flips open.
And something leaps out, a dark shadow that knocks you to the ground, along with Wanda and Agatha, who are thrown at least two meters away.
Your whole body trembles with fear and alertness. You lean on your elbows to look.
It is the part of Mephisto's soul that is fighting, it is the darkness of magic that protects it.
Agatha didn't fall, she is fighting the part of the shadowy cloud that tries to cover her, the purple magic around her.
Wanda has fallen, but has the same position as you, staring frightened ahead. And your immediate urge is to reach for her, stumbling to get up.
"Destroy it now, Stark!" Agatha shouts, but you keep walking.
Except that the shadow shrouds your field of vision, and you stop confused.
Wanda is standing in front of you.
"What are you still doing here?" Her tone is icy, it chills your whole body the wrong way, and you frown in confusion.
"W-what? We're destroying the horcrux, Wanda, what-"
"I told you to leave." She interrupts as she approaches, her gaze cruel. She has never looked at you like that. "Didn't you hear what Agatha said? You are weak. You are not, and you were never good enough for me."
You stumble away, shocked by the words. But she doesn't stop, smiling arrogantly.
"How was it that the least smart Stark was chosen to protect me?" She teases. "Our classmates are right. I match with the champion of the Triwizard Tournament, that woman will indeed be able to protect someone like me. And if you're lucky, you might get someone who will accept your mediocrity."
You want to throw up. But this is wrong. Something in your brain is screaming, because Wanda would never say such things.
She reaches out to you, and her touch has no pressure. It's just a ghost. An illusion, playing with your senses.
"Pathetic." She whispers, the black orbs glowing. That's enough for you.
Your mind wanders immeditarily to last summer.
"You know how much I love you, don't you?" Wanda whispers in the dark, under the covers with you. The light of the lantern while you are reading Romeo and Juliet in her room is enough for you to see her face blurry.
You smile, closing the book, and pushing it away as you lie on your side to face her.
"I have a vague idea." You joke. "I think quite a bit since I've been sleeping here all week."
But Wanda looks worried; she copies your position, but keeps a serious face. You lift your fingers to trace the wrinkle in her forehead, squeezing lightly until she stops frowning and smiles.
"I just..." She starts almost embarrassed. "Promise you'll never forget?"
You smile, because the idea is absurd, but decide to follow the line. "I promise."
And when Wanda's eyes fill with tears, you worry too, but she quickly shakes her head. "I'm sorry, I'm just being silly."
You caress her cheek, wiping away the tears that have run down. " You know how much I love you?"
You repeat the question in a whisper, and Wanda's cheeks flush, but she smiles, straightening herself up better. "I have a vague idea, because you've been sleeping here all week."
You laugh softly, and she follows you. "It's more than that." You whisper as you stop, staring at her. "I love you more than anything."
Wanda nods softly, her eyes filling with tears again, but this time it's for a good reason. She feels the same way.
"More than the characters in the book loved each other?" She asks in a gasp, her hand squeezing your shirt softly. You smile.
"What I feel for you makes the love of Romeo and Juliet seem like a crush." You retort, making her laugh embarrassedly.
But her smile slowly dies, and she swallows dryly before speaking again. "I don't want us to end up like in the book, babe. Never."
You know she's talking about dying. But specifically about you dying for her. You know that Wanda would do that for you no matter what, but the idea of living without her is unreasonable.
"I wouldn't like that either." You confess, moving closer so that your noses are touching. "I'd like to live with you."
Wanda smiles shyly, embarrassed by the implications in your speech. But you let your fingers wander to her hair, tucking the strands behind her ear.
"I think we would be happy in a cottage." You say, and her gaze brightens beyond the redness on her face. "Or we could buy an apartment in the city where there's a park for you to walk around in."
"I would like that." She confesses smiling. "To have a home with you. Wherever that is."
You swallow dryly, feeling your chest warm with happiness. "Do you think we could handle taking care of animals? I don't ever remember feeding Iron."
Wanda laughs softly, nodding. "We could try a cat first, they're more independent."
"And then an owl."
"Soon a dog."
"Maybe two."
You take a chance. "Or who knows..." But you lose courage, but Wanda smiles.
"Children."
You nod softly, looking at the green orbs adoringly. And she looks at you the same way. "As many as you want."
Wanda's eyes looking at you lock on your mind for the next few seconds as the memory fades, and you find yourself back in the horror of dark magic all around you.
You stumble away from the illusion of the locket, wielding your sword, and ignoring the adrenaline whistle in your ears.
There is no time for another defense, you raise the sword, and the next minute, it strikes the metal, destroying it.
The ghosts scream, and are gone in the blink of an eye, and you gasp in shock, still standing with trembling hands.
When Wanda stands up, and makes mention of touching you, you stumble over your words. "W-we have to go. He'll feel it for sure, let's get out of here before they find us." And you are already walking out toward the tent, keeping your gaze on the ground.
For the next few minutes, you are on autopilot.
Helping Agatha with the tent in silence, the two other witches don't seem to know exactly how to talk about what has just happened.
And when you need to Apparate to a new place, you hold Agatha's forearm instead of Wanda's hand.
"Where are we?" The brunette asks as soon as the ground settles at her feet. Agatha sighs.
"Honestly, we're running out of options." She replies. "It's still the United Kingdom, but it's almost the limit. We're going to need ideas from here on."
You remain silent as you set the tent back up, and when everything is ready, your hands are still shaking.
"Try to rest, Stark." Agatha says beside you. "You did very well tonight."
You only mutter in understanding, hurrying off to your room.
Not even taking off your shoes, you throw yourself on the bed, burying your face in the pillow.
Maybe sleep will put the horcrux image out of your head, but you imagine that once you fall asleep, this will be the only thing you’ll dream about.

If I Can’t Have You
Based on this request: “one shot of Wanda and the reader are married and Agatha likes the reader and creates problem in their relationship. one day the reader and Wanda were fighting, the reader leaves to find Agatha who controls the reader to fall in love with her. Wanda finds the reader and removes the mind control.”
masterlist
Agnes walks down the sun-bleached sidewalk, arms full of a stack of hardbacks that most certainly were not transformed spellbooks. Of course they weren’t- she is Agnes now, not Agatha, and even nosy neighbours would never be caught dead studying incantations. She has to keep up the illusion of innocence, and that is final.
Agnes’ cheerful grin slips when her eye catches on something in the bushes. They should be drab shades of gray (they’re still stuck in the 50s, no matter how much Agnes wishes they would just change decades already), but there’s a flash of color inside them. Agnes groans. Is Wanda’s control disintegrating so quickly? Agnes gestures towards the bush ever so slightly, and the color fades back to black and white in a second, with only a flash of purple dancing around Agnes’ fingertips to show that anything had changed.
However, in the split second that Agnes’ focus had been diverted away, her tall stack of books had begun to slide out of her arms. Agnes reaches out to steady the pile once more, but it’s too late- the books cascade to the ground, spilling out over the pale concrete. Agnes kneels, ignoring the spike of heat slicing up her knees from the sunburned sidewalk, and begins to gather up the books. To her surprise, a second figure leans down beside her, picking up the scattered hardbacks as well.
When Agnes looks up, her breath catches slightly in her throat. There’s someone standing over them, sun shining out in a halo over their head. A smile flashes across their face as they hold out the remaining books. “I’m Y/N. I don’t think we’ve been able to meet before.” Agnes shakes her head. “No, I don’t think so. I would have remembered you, hon. The name’s Agnes.” Y/N grins, teeth flashing in the sun. “It’s nice to meet you, Agnes. I think we’re neighbours- I live down the block with my wife, Wanda. Great to make some new friends.”
Agnes clears her throat. “Well, thank you for your help.” Y/N tilts their head in acknowledgement. “Well, I figured I might as well do something quickly. Wanda’s right down the block, and I don’t think you would have wanted her to see you summon up some purple sparks to retrieve the books.” Agnes stares. “You-” Y/N waves a hand in dismissal. “Don’t worry about it. I’m not going to say anything. I saw you fix that hedge, so clearly you’re here to help. If there’s one thing I can do, it’s keep a secret for a friend. See you around, Agnes.”
With that, Y/N heads back down the sidewalk, footsteps echoing down the concrete path. Agnes is left staring. Y/N knew about the magic and Y/N is married to Wanda, yet they aren’t going to say anything? As Agnes walks back to her house, she realizes there’s a new feeling of rage bubbling up in her stomach against the red-haired witch. It’s not just envy of Wanda’s chaos magic. No, this is something different. It takes Agatha a while to realize what it is, and then it occurs to her. She’s jealous that Wanda has Y/N in her life every day.
Agatha can’t take this feeling of envy for much longer. She begins small spells targeting Wanda and Y/N’s marriage, ones that will sow seeds of discontent that will draw Y/N to Agatha instead. At first, they’re barely noticeable- traffic is bad so Y/N arrives home later and later each day, Wanda keeps forgetting to keep a space out for Y/N at the dinner table. Then, it’s time for Agatha’s magnum opus- one thunderous rain storm that forces Y/N to dash into Agatha’s house to escape the torrential showers.
Y/N only has to knock a couple of times before Agatha opens her door, quickly ushering the drenched neighbour into her house. Y/N apologizes profusely, but Agatha just shakes her head. “It’s fine, trust me. I’d rather you stay in here for a while and dry up than have to run home in this sort of weather.” She hands Y/N a blanket, which they accept gratefully, wrapping around their shoulders.
Y/N gets distracted by a bookcase in the corner of the room, a deep mahogany number with intricate carvings detailing the sides. “You have a good collection of books here. Rivals even my own.” A faint smile slips across their face as they examine the titles, a warmth in their eyes as if greeting dozens of old friends. At last, Y/N’s finger stops over one book in particular, and they carefully draw it out from amongst the others.
Agatha leans over to Y/N, curious. “Which book is that?” Y/N delicately opens the cover, poring over the detailed illustrations and long swoops of text. “Greek mythology. I’ve always been a fan.” Y/N flips through the pages, stopping before one particularly beautiful depiction of a myth. In the drawing, a goddess lies desolate over the body of a lover, roses beginning to form where blood pools from their body.
“Aphrodite and Adonis. That’s a classic. The goddess of love and the queen of the underworld both fell in love with this one mortal hero, Adonis, and they fought over him for a long time.” Agatha furrows her brow. “What happened?” Y/N shakes their head sadly. “Adonis ended up dead, killed by a boar. The stories differ over the killing- some versions say it was Ares, Aphrodite’s husband, or it could have been Persephone herself, jealous that Adonis was falling in love with her rival. Either way, he ended up dead and they both ended up unhappy.”
Y/N sighs. “There are a lot of myths like that, actually. Two gods fall for one lover and in the resulting fight, the world seems to be torn apart. Something similar happened with Hercules and the river god Achelous over Deianeira, actually. Every time, two fall in love with one, and every time, violence always follows. If one god couldn’t have their lover, then nobody could. It never made sense to me. Why tear apart the world over love? Besides, it always hurt the lover, who never had any choice in the matter. A waste, honestly.”
Y/N closes the book and glances outside the window. “Look, it stopped raining. I will stop intruding on your hospitality with my sad Greek myths and leave you to your afternoon.” Agatha starts to raise her voice to protest, to say that Y/N could never be a waste of time, but Y/N is already donning her coat and slipping out the door with a raised hand and a final declaration of gratitude.
Wanda waits for Y/N when they get home. She stands in the middle of the living room, just waiting for when her spouse walks through the door. Y/N has barely closed the door behind them when they see their wife, and their smile fades. “What’s wrong, Wanda? You look upset.” Wanda’s gaze remains steady, bordering on harsh. “I wonder why that would be. I wonder why my spouse would show up late again, especially when I asked them to be here early for dinner.”
Y/N gestures loosely at the door behind them. “I couldn’t go anywhere! It was raining so hard I could barely see two feet in front of me. Here, you can see my jacket, my hair, they’re wet-” Y/N’s voice breaks off as they reach for their coat and find it perfectly dry. They rush to the window, but there is no sign of rain. No puddles, no clouds, nothing. Y/N turns back to Wanda, a look of bewilderment fogging up their eyes.
“I have no idea what happened. I swear, it was raining, but now there’s nothing there at all.” Wanda raises an eyebrow. “Yes, that’s very convincing, isn’t it? A magically disappearing rainstorm apparent only to you.” Y/N tilts their head, irritation beginning to show. “Don’t use that tone. I would never lie to you. This is just strange. Something is happening and I can’t understand it.” They throw their arms up in frustration, but just as they raise their hands, Wanda flinches. It’s a small movement, barely there at all, but it’s enough for Y/N to notice. Instantly, all annoyance fades from their face, replaced by swift betrayal.
“You flinched- you thought I would-” Y/N’s voice is quiet, barely there at all. Wanda shakes her head fervently. “I didn’t mean that. It was an accident.” Y/N looks back at their wife, expression bleak. “It wasn’t an accident, though. You thought I would hit you? You truly think so little of me?” Y/N turns around, grabbing their coat from the door once more. “I think I should go. I think that would be best for both of us.”
Wanda reaches out to stop Y/N from leaving, but her spouse has already disappeared through the front door. A quiet gasp comes from the stairs behind Wanda, and she turns to see Billy and Tommy clustered together on the stairs, twin looks of horror on their faces. Billy is the first to speak. “Are they leaving us?” Wanda rushes over to them, hurrying in her apologies. “Of course not. Everyone has disagreements, you know? It’s impossible to be perfectly happy forever. Y/N is going to come back very soon, and we’re going to talk things out again. That’s what makes us love each other, you know. We always come back to each other in the end.”
Wanda’s voice is light and untroubled, but her children still don’t look entirely convinced. In fact, Wanda doesn’t even look convinced herself. After Billy and Tommy retreat back upstairs to their rooms, Wanda walks slowly to the kitchen and sits down at the table, placing her head in her hands. What has she done? What if Y/N really doesn’t come back?
Y/N regrets storming out of the house as soon as the front door closes behind them. They want nothing more than to go back inside and apologize, but they’ve always had too much pride to swallow. So, they walk out of their house, heading out into the street. Maybe they’ll go into town for a while, shoot the breeze and cool down, and then come back home and make things right. Y/N has never been able to stay away from Wanda for too long, especially during an argument. That’s what made them work so well together- they always returned to each other.
However, Y/N hasn’t gone more than a couple of feet down the road when someone walks up to them. Y/N glances over, recognizing Agnes. “Look, I’m sorry but I don’t really want to talk right now. I’ve already messed things up with Wanda, I think it’s best that I stay by myself for a while.” Agatha’s smile doesn’t falter for a second. “Of course you want to come with me, hon. You love me.”
Y/N frowns, but with a wave of Agatha’s hand a violet streak flashes across Y/N’s eyes and a relaxed smile spreads across their face. “I do love you.” Agatha holds out her hand, and Y/N takes it without a second’s hesitation. Agatha glances over at Y/N, considering them. “Actually, I think we need one more spell. I can’t have Wanda recognizing you, after all.” Agatha murmurs a spell under her breath, and Y/N’s features ripple and change into an entirely different face. Even if Wanda happened to see Y/N walking with Agatha, she would have no idea who they were.
Wanda is growing more uneasy as the hours pass by. Y/N should have returned by now, they should have made up by now. The fact that they aren’t here tells Wanda that something is wrong. Wanda knows it must be the aftereffects of the argument, but yet there’s something in the back of her head telling Wanda that there might be some foul play. After a while, Tommy slips into the room, pausing as he walks by Wanda.
“Are you still looking for Y/N?” Wanda nods, then frowns at Tommy’s tone. “What do you mean, still? Do you know where she is?” Tommy shakes his head, but he hesitates slightly. Wanda jumps on this uncertainty like a lion. “Tommy, love, I need you to tell me where Y/N is. We both know something isn’t right, don’t we? This is really important.”
Tommy still deliberates, but after frantic glances from Wanda he finally relents. “I was running past Agnes’ house and I saw someone in there. I had never seen them before, and Billy says that nobody new has come into town. It didn’t look like Y/N, but it was still strange.” Wanda swoops forward, pressing a kiss to Tommy’s forehead. “Thank you so much for telling me. I’ll go look into that right away. Stay here with Billy, alright? I’ll be back in a second.”
The methodical rhythm of Wanda’s boots echoes down the street as she heads purposefully to Agnes’ house. She knocks a couple of times before the door opens, and Wanda is face to face with an utterly unfamiliar person. Wanda blinks in confusion. “Hi, I’m Wanda. I was looking for someone.” The stranger in Agnes’ house smiles. “Well, come on inside. Maybe you’ll find them here.”
Wanda nods, following the stranger inside. “What’s your name, by the way?” Wanda asks, and the stranger just looks at her. “I wasn’t given a name.” There’s a moment of tension, like the stranger is almost begging Wanda to realize something, but then their face smooths over and everything returns to normal. Wanda is shown to a seat in the living room, and she stares around Agnes’ house. She reaches out with her mind, searching for Y/N, but nothing happens.
The stranger bustles back into the room. “Agnes is out, but she’ll be back in a little bit. Is there anything I can do for you right now?” Wanda shakes her head, standing up. “Actually, I don’t think so. I’m sorry to waste your time.” Wanda starts to head to the door, but the stranger quickly walks in front of her, blocking her path. “Are you sure? I thought you were looking for someone.” The stranger is staring at them with a look so full of pain and hope that Wanda almost has to look away. What would the stranger want Wanda to know? What would they know, except-
Then Wanda realizes, and she reaches out a tentative hand to the stranger’s temples. Wanda concentrates for a second, searching, and then she feels the spell masking the stranger’s thoughts and pulls it away like she’s removing a blindfold. Instantly, the stranger straightens up, and they shudder for a second as their face changes into a more familiar countenance. Wanda cries out in relief, wrapping her arms around Y/N, for of course it is they who stand before her.
“I thought you were missing- I thought you hated me-” Y/N holds tight to Wanda. “No. No, I could never. I tried to go back, but then the spell hit and I couldn’t do anything.” Y/N leans back, cupping Wanda’s face gently in her palm. “I’m so glad you found me. I was so scared that you wouldn’t know it was me.” Wanda smiles bittersweetly. “I will always come back to you. Every single time.”
Wanda and Y/N leave Agatha’s house, heading quickly back to their own home, back to their twin boys who look up excitedly when they see Y/N return. Wanda and Y/N do not notice Agatha, who just arrives at her house in time to see the married couple disappear back through their own front door. Agatha glares, storming into her house to see the hated truth- Y/N is indeed gone, the spell broken. In a moment of utter rage, Agatha lets her power flow through her, murky indigo smoke pouring over the room as walls crack and glasses break.
When Agatha is at last able to control herself, she stands panting in the middle of the room. Her eyes catch on a book that had been yanked from its shelf, a book that now lies open on the ground. Agatha’s eyes widen as she takes in that familiar drawing of the goddess and the lover, from the story Y/N had been talking about earlier. Aphrodite and Adonis, forced to repeat their pain once more.
But Agatha understands it now, understands it as Y/N had never been able to fully comprehend. Why shouldn’t the gods tear apart the world? This feeling in Agatha’s chest, this empty broken rage, will never be able to subside. Y/N loves Wanda, and Wanda loves Y/N. There is no room for Agatha in that story.
A twisted, fractured smile begins to wend its way across Agatha’s lips. Before, she had been hesitant about messing too much with Wanda’s reality, but now, all rules are gone with Y/N. If Agatha can’t have Y/N, no one else will. Wanda doesn’t stand a chance.

Prove Me Wrong, Darling
who doesn't love a bit of enemies to lovers? :)
You and Agatha had never gotten along. From your perspective, it was due to a conflict of interest. Whereas if you asked her, she'd likely say it was a conflict of intelligence, or something else insulting along those lines. Though the issue you had with the fellow witch wasn't her attitude, rather her underestimation of your powers. It'd started with her massacre of the Coven, when she'd attempted to end your life alongside the others. But to her surprise, you'd been strong enough to defend yourself and escape. Since then, there'd been several instances where your paths had crossed, and you hadn't let her live down the failure yet.
This particular occasion was different, however, as Agatha had asked you for help.
It'd taken everything in you not to immediately mock her. But you knew that she'd leave without further explanation if she felt ridiculed, and you were just dying to know what had made her stoop to your level. So, you'd swallowed your pride and attentively listened to her proposal. It'd mostly featured the repeated phrases "immense power" and "huge source of energy," and even a confession that she was baffled by the cause, which only intrigued you further.
Although you weren't too interested in accumulating anymore power, the opportunity to be on level ground with Agatha was too good to pass on. You confessed this to her upon accepting the invitation, which resulted in an unimpressed eye roll. Regardless of her annoyance, you left that same day, arriving in the least expected location. A quaint town in New Jersey.
"Well," You landed behind Agatha in the middle of a road, surveying the picturesque, colourless neighbourhood. "isn't this lovely."
She pursed her lips, looking round similarly perplexed. "Lovely?" She echoed. "This is like every outdated suburban stereotype rolled into one. Like some kind of picture-perfect movie set."
Her condescending comment jogged a memory. "That's what I was thinking of!" You exclaimed, clapping your hands enthusiastically. "Did you ever watch that sitcom- from the 50s? The Dick Van Dyke Show?"
"From the title alone I'm glad I didn't."
"Seriously, it's practically the same setting." You moved to stand directly in front, forcing her to look at you.
"So, what you're saying is someone used this insane amount of power just to recreate their favourite TV show?" She quirked an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed by your theory.
"Well, wouldn't you?"
"No."
"Anyway." You glanced down at the rather eye-catching ensemble Agatha was currently wearing, then at your comparably casual yet modern clothes. "This isn't going to work." With a wave of your hand, the jeans and jumper combo was replaced by a more period accurate pencil skirt and blouse. Satisfied, you looked up at her expectantly.
Taking it as a challenge, she copied the gesture, managing to both create a new dress and fix up her hair. She smirked, enjoying the chance to show off her superior abilities.
"It's not a competition." You huffed.
She placed a hand on your arm fake comfortingly. "Of course not, dear."
The contact caused you to shiver slightly. It felt as though her touch ignited sparks, though the sensation wasn't exactly unpleasant. Quite the opposite, in fact. But indulging in it didn't feel right either, so you were grateful when Agatha removed her hand.
Her face dropped, eyebrows furrowing. Slowly, she swivelled round to point at a house. "There. Can you feel it?"
Following her outstretched finger, you tuned into the energy, focusing specifically on the house. "Mhm." Unsurprisingly, Agatha was right. An unfamiliar energy was being emitted from whoever was inside. You tried to pinpoint what kind of magic the user possessed, but found no trace of any familiar type. "Shall we go meet the neighbours, then?"
"You read my mind." She muttered, narrowing her eyes and offering an arm without so much as sparing a glance in your direction.
You hesitated, taken aback by the kind gesture. It hadn't dawned on you until then that an incredibly powerful being was residing little over 10 metres away, and that you were both about to willingly walk into their house. Looping your arm with hers created a naïve sense of safety.
Neither spoke as you approached the house with faux confidence, only pausing for Agatha to summon a potted plant. A house warming gift, you guessed. The simple gesture of goodwill brought a smile to your face.
"I didn't expect you to be such a considerate neighbour." You whispered.
"Gotta make a good first impression." She reached out to knock against the door.
---
You sighed. Barely an hour spent in this black and white world and you were already bored. Everything was so tiresomely perfect, so normal that you questioned how you'd ever suffered through those terrible old sitcoms in the first place. Sitting in Wanda's living room, the only entertainment was your partner in crime Agatha, or Agnes, as you ought to say.
She was currently flipping through a magazine, tracing the page with her index finger and reading aloud to help Wanda prepare for her anniversary.
"Any notable date you can remember? Special occasion?" She asked the redhead. "You know, to remind him of good times." She winked suggestively, briefly glancing at you with an expression that only you could decipher. She was enjoying flustering Wanda a little too much.
"Oh...I don't know." She trailed off, untrustworthy eyes darting around the room. "Do you two have any memorable date? Maybe I could steal some ideas."
Had the sitcom spell effected you, this would've been the ironic moment in which you spat out whatever drink was currently in your mouth. Fortunately though, you'd declined the offer of tea earlier, and opened your mouth to correct her.
Agatha beat you to it by nudging you with her elbow. "Oh don't we just?" She laughed deeply until you joined in with a forced chuckle.
Deciding to join in with her game, you hummed thoughtfully. "What about that picnic we had? In Salem, remember?" Judging by the way her eyes flashed dangerously, she knew you were referring to that dreadful night with the Coven, serving as revenge for the sudden change in relationship status. "Agnes decided the best time to go on a date would be at night- and in the middle of forest of all places!"
Agnes threw back her head in exaggerated laughter. "Oh hush! I thought it'd be romantic. Besides, you're the one who got us completely lost, dear." She continued, further adding depth to the altered anecdote. "And I'd say it went pretty well regardless." She turned to whisper conspiratorially to Wanda. "So I'll spare you the dirty details."
The three of you fell into easy laughter, only interrupted by the shrill ring of the telephone. "If you'll excuse me." Wanda stood up to answer. "That's probably Vis."
You took the distraction as respite from forcing such an overly hospitable smile, finding that your cheeks were already aching. For the last few minutes, you'd been aware of a pair of eyes watching you closely, and finally turned to face the witch sitting next to you.
"What?"
Agatha said nothing, her invasive eyes never leaving yours as she took a sip of her drink. You could practically see the gears turning in her head as she thought something through, and dreaded to wonder what she was about to say.
Reaching some form of a conclusion, she leant forward to place her drink down on the table. "Kiss me." She murmured through clenched teeth, momentarily glancing at Wanda, who's back was turned.
"Excuse me?" Out of all the possible things she could've said, this request seemed the least plausible in your mind.
"When Wanda turns round she should see us-" Agatha gestured her hand back and forth as if vocalising what she was implying was too sinful to put into words. Her vagueness was met by your blank stare. "Y'know?"
"No?" You shook your head, unable to comprehend why she'd ask such a thing, untrusting your interpretation of her suggestion.
"Just-" Agatha raised her hands to grasp your face. Hesitated. Then threw them back down into her lap and sighed in frustration. The fact she was struggling to initiate contact was laughable, though eventually you took pity on her.
Leaning forward, you kept your eyes open to watch for Agatha's reaction. You found it amusing that upon realising what you were trying to do, her eyes shut impossibly fast. Satisfied that she was consenting, you raised one hand to cup her cheek and continued to chase after her lips. The kiss was chaste and affectionately mundane, exactly at it should be.
In response, she grabbed your knees and pulled you closer, nipping at your bottom lip. Clearly Agatha wasn't on the same wavelength as you. Her hands shifted further up to your thighs, bringing a startling heat to the kiss. You gasped, virtually melting at her touch. You wanted this. One hand slid to rest on her shoulder. But it wasn't the time or place. You gently pushed against her.
Agatha pulled away, breathless. She scanned your face with pupils blown wide and mouth slightly agape like she'd just reached some new revelation. You were certain your expression mirrored hers.
Wanda cleared her throat somewhere in the distance.
"Gosh, Wanda I'm sorry." Agnes' cheerful voice reappeared as she addressed the redhead without breaking your intense shared eye contact. "But I think we ought to be heading home now." She said unabashedly. Like you hadn't just been caught making out on the neighbour's couch.
"Of course." You could hear the understanding smile in her voice, the slight awkwardness from intruding. "It's been lovely meeting you both."
Summoning an ounce of brainpower, you turned to Wanda. "And you. Feel free to keep the magazine." Then tugged Agatha up and began dragging her toward the front door. For once in her life she went willingly, allowing herself to be pulled along, calling out a last minute farewell to Wanda.
Upon reaching the end of the garden, Agatha wordlessly took the lead. Staying true to her fabricated story, she set a determined course for the house to the right, waltzing up as if she owned the place. A quick flourish of your fingers and the lock was rendered useless. Now the house was yours.
As soon as the door shut behind you, she turned on her heel and pushed you against it. Her mouth quickly sought out yours with a desperation only appropriate in private. Had you known Agatha was this good of a kisser, you would've done this ages ago, but elected not to vocalise the praise knowing she'd never let you live it down. You felt her smirk against your lips, and briefly wondered if she'd somehow infiltrated your mind. You wouldn't put it past her.
As she began trailing kisses down your neck, any concern about the invasion of privacy became inconsequential. You sighed. She rewarded the sound with a nip at your throat. Due to the haze of lust clouding your better judgment, you didn't register the sound of footsteps until it was too late.
"Woah!" A man called from the top of the staircase, presumably the current previous resident of the house. Agatha froze, her lips still pressed up to your neck.
"If you two beautiful ladies hadn't already broken into my house, I would've happily invited you in." The man grinned obnoxiously, slowly continuing down the stairs.
Agatha disinterestedly waved her hand, incapacitating him. The sound of the stranger tumbling down the stairs caused her to let out a short, cruel cackle, before returning to bury her face in the crook of your neck.
"Not big on roommates?" You joked, sliding a hand up and down her back soothingly.
She nipped at your flesh, a little harder this time. "Trust me, he doesn't want to be here for what I'm about to do to you."
Already impatient, you decided to tease her in hopes it would speed things up. "You're all talk and no action, Harkness."
She all but growled as she returned to your lips. Without warning her hands squeezed your hips. "I don't think you're in the position to be insulting me, love."
"Then prove me wrong, darling."

Go on without me (Agatha x reader)
a/n: i took this idea and some dialogues from a song in spanish named "Sigue sin mi" by Marco Antonio Solis, in case you want to listen it.
Warnings: angst.
"Forgive me"
You blinked and slowly opened your eyes, frowning at the darkness around you. Your room was never dark and you remembered perfectly well leaving the hall light on. Now that you thought about it, you went to sleep a few hours ago. Why weren't you in bed? Or better yet, where were you?
"Forgive me"
The voice sounded a little louder this time, though it was still a whisper. You turned around, following it in the dark. You knew who it was, but the pain you heard didn’t match the image you had of her.
"Aggie?" you whispered when you saw a figure in front of you.
The witch turned to look at you and you gasped, taking a step back. She was crying, and her eyes were filled with pain and remorse. This was not your Agatha, this was a broken woman.
"I'm sorry" she whispered. "Forgive my big mistake"
You tried to get closer to her, but it seemed like there was an invisible barrier between you two.
"Aggie" you said "what's going on?"
The witch just looked at you sadly as she moved her hands and various images began to appear around you. You saw everything, from the night she left, promising to return, to her arrival in a small town, the way she pretended to be Wanda's friend, how she sabotaged various things to further destabilize her, how she killed a dog, kidnapped some children and fought the Scarlet Witch. You saw how she tried to steal the chaos magic. You saw her losing.
You gasped when the scene of her punishment played out in front of you. Wanda had condemned her to the same torture that the town's residents had suffered, she had trapped her in the role she had chosen. Agnes.
"Aggs-"
"I don't have much time" she interrupted. "I managed to break one of the seals, just so I could see you, even if it's this way"
Then you got it. You were on a different plane. Your mind connected to hers, but your bodies thousands of miles apart. That is why there was a barrier between you.
"Tell me what to do" you said "W-where are you?! I'll get you out of there" you promised.
Agatha smiled sadly at you and shook her head. You felt your stomach churn as more tears fell down her cheeks.
"Forget me" she told you.
You froze.
"wh-what?" you whispered, fear spreading through your chest.
"Forget me" she repeated "you have to move on"
"What are you talking about?" you said, getting as close to the wall as you could.
"You were right. I shouldn't have come, I shouldn't have wanted more power ... I shouldn't have left you" she cried
"Don’t worry. We can fix this" you smiled at her, even though you could already feel your tears as well.
"I'm afraid there's no way to fix it" she said "I won't be coming home this time, love" her eyes were full of guilt
"No, don't say that" you begged, as tears began to spill onto your cheeks.
"Go on without me" she whispered.
"No" you said firmly "I won't leave you"
"You have to" she pleaded "Forget me. I wish the best for you, find someone who loves you as much as I do, I hope that love and luck will follow you wherever you are"
“NO” you yelled “Tell me where you are, Agatha, tell me what to do! Tell me how to help you! And stop this nonsense!” you demanded
"Go on without me" she said again.
"I can't" you said "Y-you, you promised that you would come back. You said that when you came back you would teach me magic. You said that you would make me part of your world. You promised Harkness, you fucking promised!"
"My world is not that beautiful, and you already see it, Y/N" she said, pointing to the frozen images around you "You have to run away from it before you get hurt"
"I don't care! You promised we would be together!"
You were hurt and angry. But more than anything, scared. Scared because she wasn't fighting, because she wasn't trying to break Wanda's spell, not beyond what she had already done to contact you.
"This is my fault, right?" you fell to your knees "I wasn't enough for you ..." Out of the corner of your eye you saw Agatha kneel in front of you on the other side of the barrier.
"No honey" she said she "you were more than I deserved"
"Then why do you want this?" you asked
"Because it's not your fault that everything turns out the other way around for me, Y/N" she sobbed "I know you are not happy. It is not fair that you pay for my mistakes, love"
You looked at her through your tears and wished you could hug her, kiss her. Feel her.
"I was happy Agatha" you said
"And you'll be again once you forget me" she said, but you weren't having it.
"I was happy before you left" you almost screamed "I was happy when I woke up with you, when you kissed me, when you took me by the hand, when you patiently explained your magic to me. You make me happy"
The witch just looked at you and sobbed even louder. This was too hard for her, she hated seeing you like this and she hated that it was her fault, that she was hurting you. For a moment, she was tempted to change her mind, but she had made up her mind. You deserved better.
"Fight" you said "fight. You can stop this, you already broke one of the seals, you can break the rest. I know you can Aggie, please" you begged.
Agatha knew you were right. She was powerful enough to break the seals that held her prisoner in her own mind. It would take her time, months, maybe even years, but she could do it. But she was sure that you would wait for her as long as it took. And that was exactly what she didn't want. She didn't want to stop you, she didn't want to steal more time from you. She wanted you to move on, to live, to be happy even if she was not by your side.
And she was tired. Very tired.
"From fighting without succeeding now my feet have gotten tired, love" she told you, asking for your forgiveness with her eyes.
"Please" you whispered, but she shook her head.
"Go on without me" she said for the third time "from here I will ask that your life go better"
"No" you sobbed "I don't know how to live without you, Aggie" you confessed
"You will learn" she assured you "you will find someone else who will teach you to do it"
"I don't want someone else!" you screamed
"Love, please. I don't want you to get hurt" she sniffed, resting a hand on the barrier that separated you.
"And what do you think you're doing right now, Harkness?!" you growled "You say you don't want to hurt me, but you're sticking daggers in my chest! You say it wasn't your intention, that you want me to move on, well you would have thought about it when you looked at me with that damn smile that made me tremble, or before you stole the kiss that made me feel like I was something special "You hit the wall hard, scaring her" You didn't want to hurt me, you wanted to kill me! "
Agatha felt her heart break even more with every word that came out of your mouth. She wanted to hug you, kiss you, tell you that you were special, that she loved you. But someday you would thank her for this, even if you couldn't remember her.
"You have to understand" she whispered "You already suffered with me, you only deserve love from now on"
"Tell me who gave you the right to want to save me" You screamed, looking into her eyes "You couldn't hurt me more than this" you whispered, feeling the anger move away and transform into pure sadness "if I'm with you it's because I want to be, Agatha"
The witch couldn't hold your gaze and with a wave of her hand, the barrier disappeared. You gasped when you almost fell on your face, but she managed to catch you. No, no, no ... she could control it?! She could let you kiss her, hug her, and she hadn't done it before?!
But she was doing it now.
Agatha lifted your chin and kissed you firmly, erasing the anger you had and, for a moment, the sadness as well. That kiss gave you hope, that she had reconsidered, that she was going to keep her promise and come back to you.
The witch tried to put all of her emotions into the kiss. She wanted you to know that she loved you, that you had always been the best thing life gave her and that she would do anything for you. Anything.
Even let you go.
You gasped as you felt her vanish in your arms. You were waking up.
"No, no, Agatha, no, don't do this to me" you begged her, scared. You tried to hold on to her, but you were losing her.
"You have to live" she whispered, giving you one last kiss
"No! Agatha, please!" you screamed, everything around you was fading fast. You looked at her while she smiled sadly at you "... I love you" you whispered
"I love you too" she said before disappearing.
_________
You gasped when you woke up. Hot tears rolled down your cheeks and you quickly wiped them away with your hand. You looked at it, confused.
"How weird" you said "I must have had a bad dream"
Although you weren't really sure what you had dreamed of, you couldn't remember it. But it wasn't strange, was it? People often forget their dreams.
You shrugged as you fell asleep again. You didn't feel the engagement ring disappear from your finger.
____________
Meanwhile, somewhere in an abandoned town, a woman smiled as she removed a ring from her finger. She wasn't sure where it was from, but she did know that she didn't need it anymore. She kept it in a box that she left to the bottom of a forgotten drawer.
She paid no attention to the tear that rolled down her cheek. She had been crying a lot, she realized. It must be the allergies.
____________
Agatha sighed and whispered, knowing that no one would listen to her. Not Agnes, not you.
"Meanwhile, here I will cry with my mistake"

Remember Me: Agnes/Agatha Harkness x Reader
Request: Ok so I have this idea for a wandavision fic. Agatha had a wife prior to westview, and the wife comes looking for her and gets zapped into the hex. The wife loses all memories prior to westview so when she sees Agnes for the first time she’s like head over heels in love with her all over again. Agnes of course absolutely recognizes her and remembers everything and decides to woo her wife into marrying her again. Of course shenanigans ensue. Also Agatha doesn’t want to just give her wife’s memories back cause she wants to protect her. I also think the wife’s personality is pretty opposite to Agnes’s, I see her as more quite and innocent, but still bubly and positive. I know this is a lot lol but I just think it would make a great fanfic!
Summary: You and Agatha have been married for years, but a rough fight causes you to take a break for a while. When you’re ready to try again you go looking for her, but accidentally get sucked into the hex in the process and lose all your memories.
Words: 3.6k+
Warnings: spoilers, some angst
Author’s Notes: This fic got pretty long cuz I just kinda ran with this amazing idea, hope you enjoy!

You feel…lost.
It’s as if something was at the tip of your tongue, something extremely important was on your mind a few minutes ago, but you can’t think of it for the life of you.
You’ve always struggled with directions, so you know you probably took a wrong turn. You remember driving into a town called Westview, and you’re pretty sure you’re here now, but your mind feels fuzzy. You can’t recall anything that happened to you before driving here. Your body feels like it got ripped apart and put back together, if that’s even possible.
You try your best to shrug off your concerns, and you start to feel more and more at home here. You know what, you have been here your whole life. You grew up here, you have friends here, and you never want to leave.
Despite that, though, you have no idea where your house is. You drive around, searching for anything that looks familiar, to no avail.
You see a woman picking some flowers outside, so you pull over and get out to talk to her.
“Good afternoon!” you wave. “I don’t believe we’ve met, I’m Y/N,”
“Hello!” she smiles. “I’m Wanda. Are you one of my neighbors?”
“Oh, um, yeah! I’m in the neighborhood,” you nod. “Those flowers are beautiful. Is there a special occasion?”
“Yes, actually! It’s me and my husband’s anniversary today! I’m planning a romantic evening to surprise him when he gets home. One of my other neighbors gave me some ideas and tips,” she laughs. “Oh there she is again!”
You turn around to look at the house next door, and see the most beautiful human being you’ve ever seen in your life. There’s something familiar about her, like a distant memory. She waves at Wanda, but when she sees you she stares. She can’t take her eyes of you, like she’s seeing a ghost.
“Agnes! Come here a second!” Wanda calls her over. “This is Y/N, she also lives around here. Have you met?”
“Oh…”
She’s wearing a gorgeous yet simple plaid dress, and her smile is captivating. There’s a gleam in her eyes that’s magical, and you find yourself falling a little too hard for someone you just met. You’re not usually the type to lay your heart down so quickly, but something about her is different.
“Oh, no! I don’t think we have!” Agnes snaps out of her trance and shakes your hand. “I’m Agnes,”
“Y/N,”
“Lovely to meet you,” she momentarily turns her attention back to Wanda. “Now, is there anything else you need for tonight? Extra candles, more magazines, makeup?”
“Some more candles would be amazing, thank you,”
“Great, I’ll drop them off in a bit,” Agnes glances at you again. “Would you like me to walk you home, darlin?”
“Sure,” you start walking together down the sidewalk. “I’m sorry if this is weird, but I feel like I know you from somewhere,”
“Do you now?”
“Maybe you just have one of those faces,” you sigh. “Anyway, I honestly can’t remember where my house is. I’ve always been bad with directions,”
“Did you just move here recently?”
“Maybe?” you scratch your head. “I…think I’ve always been here, but maybe I left and came back. Is it weird that I can’t remember?”
“Not at all,” she smiles. “Is this it?”
You look, and there’s a house just a few down from Wanda’s that you can almost swear wasn’t there before. But it looks like home, it looks familiar.
“Yes! This is it!” you race up to the door, and find a key that fits perfectly in your pocket. “How’d you know this was mine?”
“I just had a feeling,” she says.
“Well, thank you very much,” you reply, about to close the door.
“Wait,”
“Hmm?”
“Would you like to get some ice cream tomorrow?”
You nod, a bit surprised she’s so interested in you, “Sure,”

You meet up again at the ice cream parlor the next day, and you’re shocked when you get there that Agnes has already ordered your favorite, and a couple scoops are in your grasp within a few minutes.
You sit down together and start eating it, “How’d you know this was my favorite?”
“Oh…um, you just seem like that kind of gal?” she takes a spoonful of her own.
When you’re both done, you take a walk around town, waving to other people you think you’ve seen in the neighborhood. It feels a little strange that you’re hanging out with Agnes for hours as if you’ve been friends for years, but at the same time it feels so right. It’s almost like she knows everything about you already, yet everything is still a mystery.
Later in the afternoon you attend the talent show together, and you find yourself laughing especially at Wanda and her husband Vision’s performance. Some of their tricks fool you enough into thinking they might be real, but how could they be? Magic is all just a trick on the eyes, isn’t it?
You say goodbye to everyone and turn in for the night, and you have a strange dream.
Agnes is there, but she looks different. Older? Younger? You’re not sure.
She smiles at you, and takes your face in her hands. She presses a kiss to your lips, and doesn’t let you go until you can’t breathe.
You continue to see snippets of you and her together, each time in a different place, maybe even a different era. You’re happy, it seems, the love is deep and strong, something so good you didn’t think it could exist.
Until the last one.
You’re yelling at each other, but you can’t make out the words, not even your own. You can almost feel tears streaming down your cheeks, and Agnes takes her bags and leaves. You fall on the couch, completely miserable. You can’t tell what happened, but the aching in your chest is enough to tell it was the worst thing you’ve ever experienced.
When you wake up the next morning, you don’t remember anything.
-
The world is now in color, but you honestly can’t recall what it looked like yesterday, so it doesn’t seem strange to you.
You get a call from Wanda telling you she’s pregnant, and you congratulate her excitedly. She asks you to keep it under wraps except for close friends, which makes sense since it’s so early on.
Even though you have plenty of time before the baby arrives, you decide to go out to the store and pick out some stuff you could give her. You’ve never had children of your own so you’re not sure exactly what she’d need, but you know the basics, like clothes, teething toys, and blankets.
You look through the racks and piles, picking out a few things you think would be cute.
“Don’t tell me you’re pregnant now too, hun,”
You jump, and you see Agnes behind you.
“Oh! Agnes, hi!” you exhale quickly. “No, no, I’m not. I’m just picking up some things for Wanda. Maybe we could plan her a little baby shower or something?”
“I’m just kidding, hun. And that’s a great idea!” she pushes her cart forward a bit. “I’ll catch up with you later, okay?”
You nod as she hurries away.
-
As you’re walking home, you see Agnes chatting with one of your other neighbors, Herb. You don’t particularly hear or care what they’re saying, but you stop in your tracks when you see something purple coming out of Agnes’s fingers.
Herb’s eyes roll back for a moment, and then they carry back on in conversation. After a few minutes Vision runs out of the house and talks to them a bit, then they all go their separate ways.
Maybe you were just seeing things, but something about that interaction was really weird.
You catch up with Agnes down the street, saying hello and asking how she is. She doesn’t seem to know you saw what happened, so you decide to ask yourself.
“What was that purple stuff coming out of your hands?”
“What?” she chuckles, scoffing as if you’re crazy. “What are you talking about?”
“I was walking by Wanda’s house earlier and I saw you talking to Herb, and there was something coming out of your hands. Maybe it was just weird light or reflections or something-“
“Oh, yes, that must be it,” she pats your shoulder. “Say, how about we grab some dinner or something?”
“Really?”
She raises a hand and strokes your head and hair, and it feels like a wave of calm rushes over you. She murmurs some words you can’t understand, and you forget what you were going to say.
“What was that for?” you giggle, cheeks flushing a bit at her tender touch.
“Oh, there was just something stuck in your hair, dear,”
-
“Agnes,” you say, after taking the last bite of your dinner. You’ve had a wonderful night, you don’t think you’ve smiled and laughed so much in your life, and she makes your heart feel like it’s transcending to peak happiness.
“Hmm?”
“I really love hanging out with you,” you’re too nervous to say the actual words you want to say, and you desperately hope she understands.
“I love hanging out with you too,” she reaches for your hand. “I’ve missed you,”
You cock your head, “What do you mean?”
“Oh, nothing,” she laughs. “It’s just…been awhile since I’ve had someone in my life that I care about so much,”
You sigh as she squeezes your hand, “Do you believe in soulmates?”
“I might,” she grins. “Why?”
“I just…I know it’s so weird, but I feel like there’s something between us that’s beyond our control, you know?” you talk fast, hoping getting all the words out quickly will help you to say what you’ve wanted to say since you first met. “Maybe we were together in another life, another universe, I don’t know, it’s just…it’s not just me, right?”
She shakes her head, and you can almost see a tear in her eye, “No, it’s not just you,” she kisses the palm of your hand. “I wish I could tell you everything, I really do,”
“What do you mean?”
“But I can’t,” she stands up and waves her hand in front of your face, all memories of your conversation slipping from your mind. “It’s for your own protection sweetheart, I promise. Once I figure out how all this is happening, we can be together again,”
-
Agnes walks you home that night, but you don’t want to leave. You’ve had such a wonderful time with her, and you can’t bear for it to end.
“Do you want to come inside?” you ask.
“Oh, honey, I don’t think I should,” she laughs.
“Please,” you beg. “Just for a little bit? I have some tea and cookies,”
“Alright,” she sighs. “Just for a little bit,”
You start boiling the water and arrange some cookies on a plate as Agnes sits down on the couch.
“What kind would you like?”
“I’ll take anything,” she says.
You return with a cup and plate for her and plop down on the cushion, “You know I should probably apologize,”
“For what, dear?”
“I just feel like I’ve been a bit forward, which is weird since I’m normally super reserved and shy, but I just feel so comfortable with you, ya know?” you sip your tea. “I feel like I’ve said or done something wrong. I can’t remember what, but I definitely did,”
“Oh darling, no,” Agnes shakes her head. “You’re perfect,”
“Really?”
“Yes, just as you always have been,” she lifts your chin and leans in, capturing your lips. “My everything,”
-
You never knew what head over heels felt like until now.
You wake up smiling, barely able to contain your emotions. You kissed Agnes last night. You kissed Agnes last night.
You. You did.
You head over to Wanda’s that morning, wanting to meet the twins and give your gifts. When you walk in they’re crying very loudly and Wanda and Vision look stressed out of their minds.
“Hey, Wanda!” you give her a hug. “Baby troubles?”
“Yeah, they just…won’t stop crying,” she sighs in exhaustion.
“Do you need any help?” you ask. “Also, I got you some stuff,” you hand her the gift bag.
“Oh! Thank you so much!” she smiles in appreciation. “And yeah, could you? I’ve tried everything, but if you have any ideas on how to calm them down go for it,”
You start to rock the cradles a bit, when you hear the doorbell ring.
“Hiya kids!” Agnes strolls in. “Hey hun,” she winks at you.
“Oh Agnes!” Wanda says, relieved to have yet another person to help with the situation. “Oh, Y/N, could you actually grab some milk for them? There’s some formula on the counter in the kitchen,”
“Yeah, sure!” you smile at Agnes, your heart pounding a bit before you turn around to make the milk.
As you’re stirring, you hear Vision escalate into a panic, and then it falls mysteriously silent.
“Do you want me to take that again?” you hear Agnes say.
What?
“You want me to hold the babies, should we just take it from the top?”
You hear Wanda laugh and the conversation continues on normally. You finish mixing up the milk and head toward the living room, but you meet Agnes running in to look for some liquor.
“Agnes! What do you think you’re doing?” you whisper.
“What do you mean? I’m just trying to help with the kids, just like you!”
“Yeah, but, you’re acting really weird,” you shake your head, staring at her in disbelief. “What were you talking about in there? Taking it from the top? What does that even mean?”
“Oh, honey, don’t worry. I’m just a little jazzed up today!” she kisses your cheek.
“Y/N! AGNES! The kids are gone!” Wanda gasps.
You rush in, and all of your turn around towards the stairs to see two definitely not baby boys in front of you.
“Ah, kids. You can’t control ‘em, no matter how hard you try,” Agnes chuckles, taking a sip of her drink.
Are you the only one that finds it strange that the twins randomly grew older right in front of you?
-
That evening you go on another date with Agnes. She doesn’t bring up anything that happened this morning, but she does mention the tragedy of Wanda’s family’s dog passing away. You feel awful, especially since they got him recently.
For the most part it’s a normal date, you’re still very much in love with her and you have an amazing time.
But by the end of it when you’re heading back home, the eerie feeling returns, and you can’t keep ignoring it. You need answers, and you need them now.
“Something’s not right here, Agnes,” you observe. “Everyone here acts weird, especially Wanda and Vision, and even you sometimes. I don’t get it,”
“Darling-“
“No!” you snap. “Every single time I’ve brought up feeling weird with you or in this town in general you distract me so I forget about it. You know something Agnes, I can tell you do. Why won’t you be honest with me? If we’re gonna do this relationship thing, we need to be honest with each other,”
She takes a deep breath, “I can’t,”
“Why not?”
“I can’t now, but I will,” she says. “This weekend, Halloween. Meet me at my house and I’ll tell you and show you everything,”
“Do you promise?”
“Yes, I promise,” she nods, then leans in to kiss you. “I just have to do a few more things first,”
She walks away.
-
You stand outside her house on Halloween just as she asked, dressed in a cheap witch costume you found in your closet.
“Oh, look at us!” Agnes opens the door, eyeing you up and down and grinning. “We match!”
You laugh as she takes you hand and leads you to her car.
Before she pulls out, she turns to you, a glaze of fear in her eyes.
“Are you sure you want to know everything?”
“Yes,” you nod.
“Okay,” she presses down the pedal and drives.
She passes by all the familiar streets, into the neighborhoods you’ve never seen. There’s people outside that are barely moving, and the farther you go, the more frozen they become. It begins to scare you a bit, but you trust Agnes to explain everything to you when you get to your destination.
She finally stops the car at the last stop sign on the edge of town, and everything ahead looks like an empty field.
“You don’t remember how you got to Westview, do you?” she asks.
“No,” you shake your head. “I think I’ve been here a while, but my past is fuzzy,”
“But somehow you have memories of me?”
“I…” you search your thoughts. “I felt like I recognized you when we first met, yeah. But I don’t think they were actually memories,” you look into her eyes. “Why, do you think they’re real memories or something?”
“I know they are,”
“You mean, we were together before?”
“Yes,” she nods, and her gaze falls to the floor, unable to look at you. “But it didn’t end well. I made a lot of mistakes, and you asked me to leave, so I did. I’ve been all over the place, and I ended up here. Then all of a sudden, you were here too,”
You can’t believe what you’re hearing, “How come I don’t remember any of that?”
“Wanda created and controls this town. She wiped and changed your memories,”
“Wanda?” you scoff. “How would she even do that? And even if someone could do that, why would they? She’s so nice, you really think she’s controlling me?”
“I don’t know how she’s doing it, that’s what I’m trying to find out. But I know it’s her. She’s the only other magical being in this town, and she got her powers from an infinity stone. Maybe it’s just that, maybe she’s a mutant, maybe it’s chaos magic, I don’t know. But she’s the one,”
You shake your head, almost giggling at how ridiculous it sounds, “Agnes, no, you’re not making any sense. Magic? Infinity stones? Mutants? Are you serious? Come on, just tell me the truth,”
“I am telling you the truth,”
“Stop lying to me!” you storm out the car door, walking back towards town. Agnes calls after you, but you keep going. “I can’t be with you if all you’re going to tell me is complete bullshit!”
“Y/N!”
Your feet lift off the ground and you spin around, flying through the air towards her. You scream, and you see that same purple smoke coming out of her fingers that you saw before. She pulls you against her, one arm wrapped around your waist and another cradled around your head.
“It’ll all make sense now, sweetheart,”
She whispers a spell and all the memories flood back into your mind. Your real first meeting, your first kiss, your first date. Your wedding day, your first house. You see every moment, the good and the bad, the way she looked at you like you’re an angel every single day. You relive every anniversary, every holiday together, every tradition you shared, and finally the last moments together, and the day you decided you wanted your beloved wife back.
“Agatha?” you whisper.
“Yes,” she crashes her lips to yours, taking in everything she loves, everything she missed. You wrap your arms around her neck, kissing her deeply, a smile escaping every so often. You don’t care that it’s messy, you don’t care if your teeth get in the way, you’re in love and you never want to let her go again.
“I’m so sorry, darling,” she exhales, breathless.
“No, I’m sorry,” you say between more kisses. “I can’t live without you Agatha. I can’t,”
“It’s okay, we’re together again,” she slithers her fingers into your hair.
“But what now?” you wipe your teary eyes. “If you’re right about Wanda using magic to control everything, what do we do?”
“I’ve been dropping clues to make Vision suspicious, and I’ve been trying to get her to crack,” she says. “I have a feeling she might make it all crumble on her own. If it’s chaos magic like I think it is, it’s unpredictable and she might lose control if she keeps it up much longer,”
“Do you…think she’s doing it on purpose?”
“She has some consciousness of it, yes, but I don’t think she’s trying to hurt anyone,” Agatha replies. “But at the same time, I don’t think she’d hesitate to hurt anyone either if someone threatened her,”
“Oh,” you fall back in her arms a bit so you can look up at her. “How come you didn’t return my memories when we first met again?”
“I wanted to protect you. I was afraid you might get targeted if Wanda found out you remembered who you are, I doubt she’d hurt you but I couldn’t risk it,” she runs her thumb along your cheek. “Plus I thought it might be fun to fall in love with you all over again,”
You laugh, “It was kind of fun,”
She pulls you in for another kiss, “I love you, sweetheart,”
“I love you too,”
She holds you close, making up for all the lost time. You’re not sure what will happen or what you’ll have to deal with next, but you’ll do it together. Always, no matter what.

An unusual couple - Chapter 1
Summary: After a weekend out of town, Ralph and Agnes comes back to Westview to find new neighbors that aren’t as harmless as they seem. With decades that somehow changes every day, Ralph assumes that his distant past is also the work of Wanda. It is, after all, what his wife says.
*** This story is based on @fyregrl post suggesting a work showing Agatha and Peter's point of view of the events of Wandavision.
Next part: Chapter 1, Chapter 2, Chapter 3, Chapter 4, Chapter 5, Chapter 6, Chapter 7, Chapter 8, Chapter 9, Chapter 10, Chapter 11,
Chapter 1: Westview
“Well, wasn’t that a nice weekend?” Agnes asked, breaking the silence between the two of them. “The in-laws were charming, as always.”
Ralph nodded towards his wife, making sure to keep his eyes on the road. They were nearing their house; he recognized the familiar town square. He waved at Denis as they passed by, the mailman delivering the morning mail as always. He narrowed his eyes at they turned the corner.
“Looks like we have new neighbors,” he remarked.
Agnes scoffed lightly, “yes, I suppose we do! I’ll go pay them a visit.”
He pulled into their driveway, their trusted car coming to a slow stop. Agnes got out of the car first, her eyes lingering on the next-door house. Ralph closed his door, taking note of the lack of suitcases in the backseat.
He walked to his wife, something deep within him complaining about how slow he was going. They entered the house together and he took in the simple furniture that somehow didn’t look familiar.
“Is there something wrong, hun?” Questioned his wife with narrowed eyes.
His stomach growled, surprising them both. Curiously, he couldn’t remember that last thing he ate, or the last time. Agnes waved a hand and two sandwiches materialized on their kitchen table. Ralph was confused for a second, but he suddenly remembered; his wife had powers. That was normal, she used her magic sometimes, but she still wanted to stay hidden. So, they had moved here, in Westview, New Jersey, in a small town to live a peaceful and quiet life.
But his wife was quite the nosy neighbor. He just hoped she wouldn’t attract too much attention; something told him he’d also be in trouble.
Agnes finished her meal quickly and swiftly got up. “Well, better go welcome the neighbors!”
Her tone was clear, he wasn’t going to be a part of the welcoming party. That was one part of their unusual relationship, she usually did most of the work. Ralph couldn’t help but assume that Agnes was probably ashamed of him. Or perhaps she didn’t want people gossiping about their age difference
In all honesty, he couldn’t even remember meeting her, much less marrying her. Though, he did sometimes have glimpse of a mansion... a school perhaps? Maybe they had met during their studies; he couldn’t quite remember.
Agnes materialized a plant and sent him a grin. “I do have to bring them a welcoming gift; don’t I?”
With that slightly worrisome remark, she walked out, leaving him sitting at their kitchen table with a half-finished sandwich.
***
It didn’t take long for Agnes to come back from her visit. Ralph could practically feel the annoyance rolling off of her.
“How did it go?” He tentatively asked.
His wife paused her search through their magazine stand and looked at him. She seemed to consider her choice of words as she cleared her throat.
“Our neighbor is like me; and also, so much more.”
“Oh?” He pressed.
Agnes scoffed. “You don’t remember, no one seems to; but this,” she wildly gestured around them. “This is an illusion, she’s changing everything. Wanda Maximoff is poisoning everyone’s mind for the sake of her perfect life.”
Wanda Maximoff... why did that name seem so familiar?
He pulled at his tie that had suddenly gone tight against his neck. Agnes continued talking.
“She doesn’t even realize what she’s doing!” The brunette paused and stared at him for a few seconds. She chuckled lightly and calmly walked to him. “Look at me, losing my temper over our neighbor while you have no idea what I’m talking about.”
She fixed his tie, something that felt both wrong and constricting and shot him a small grin. Ralph removed her hands from his neck, but the pressure persisted. “You seem to know what has to be done,” he assured her. It was always better to agree with his wife, he knew it was something she’d appreciate. She didn’t like when people defied her. “What will you do with... Wanda?”
Agnes raised an eyebrow at his hesitation, but he himself couldn’t understand why he’d hesitated. It’s not like he had met the woman before.
His wife observed him for a moment, narrowing her eyes at him before clearing her throat. “Play her game, for now. But I will wake her from her fantasy.”
He tilted his head in curiosity, “how will you do that?”
“Oh, I have a few assets up my sleeves,” answered Agnes looking at him with a malicious glint in her eyes.
Before he could ask her for further details, she picked up a pile of magazines and flashed him a smile.
“I’ll see you later!”
***
Agnes was gone for a considerable amount of time; Ralph couldn’t figure out what to do with his time. His wife had said that everything around them was an illusion, conjured by their neighbor. But he couldn’t remember what it was before, he didn’t even remember being in Westview before today.
Perhaps it was a side effect of Wanda’s magic, Agnes had mentioned that no one but her knew the truth, who was pulling the real strings. It would explain why his head felt so fuzzy.
That was another thing, he knew he had just come back from a weekend with his family, but he couldn’t remember a single thing for the last few days. Even his past felt distant. Was that a part of whatever Wanda had done to the town? It must have been.
He caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror and paused, something about his reflection felt wrong. But he couldn’t quite put his finger on it. His hair was silvery grey, but that seemed normal to him for some reason. His eyes scanned over his face, the lack of color was like any other day, but his mind was telling him that it hadn’t always been that way. Then, he spotted his tie. The light grey fabric adorned with deeper grey swirls seemed completely harmless. A small voice kept trying to make him look away and move on, but there was something about the tie that was strange. He brought his hand close, fighting the strong urge to keep it far away.
“Ralph?” Rang the slightly wary voice of Agnes.
He swiftly turned to her, suddenly forgetting about whatever he had been thinking about just moments ago. “How was your talk with Wanda?”
She observed his face with a piercing gaze but seemed to brush her suspicions aside. “She needs help to prepare an evening with her husband. I’ll make sure to be at her side; she is completely lost in her own act.”
***
The rest of the night was a mix of Agnes getting various foods to help Wanda, who had wrongly assumed that she’d have a romantic diner with her husband. Instead, she now had to prepare a diner for herself and her husband’s boss and wife. Ralph couldn’t help but laugh at such a classic misunderstanding.
Agnes was growing more and more eager as Wanda needed her, but then she was thrown into a jealousy fit when she saw the woman’s husband. Apparently, he had died years ago, but the neighbor had resurrected him. He didn’t say much, there was an unspoken understanding that there was no stopping his wife when she started her ranting.
“Let’s go to bed,” finally declared Agnes. Her tone left no place for discussion.
He glanced at the clock in their kitchen, it was nearly 10 o’clock, he hadn’t even realized how late it was.
They had separate beds, something deep within him kept whispering how it was for the best. As sleep pulled at his eyelids, he found himself agreeing.

You Need To Remember 3
Pairing: Peter Maximoff x Reader
Summary: Your best friend Peter gets sucked into a different reality in front of you and you use your power to go after him. You find yourself in a new reality but you don’t remember how you got there.
Warnings: Language
Word Count: 1681
Masterlist Previous Part
When Peter had hit the back of Monica’s head to knock her out you gasp. What was going on?
“Peter! What are you doing?”
“What I should’ve done before hun.” And then you’re greeted with darkness.
When you wake up you’re in some sort of attic with a headache in the back of your head where you were hit. Monica’s yelling for Wanda and banging on the window while Peter sits on the couch with a guitar. You’re laid on a recliner in a corner of the room and sit up and grimace at the heart beat in your head.
“Don’t waste your breath babe. No one can hear you from in here.” Monica turns around to look at Peter and glances at you when he calls her babe. You just shrug at her not knowing what was going on as Peter starts to play the guitar. Peter’s never touched a guitar in his life. How did he know now? He strums something dramatic and makes a face at Monica as she looks between the door and him. She tries to run and you know that that’s a bad idea before she even does it. It seems like she’s forgetting about his super speed. He beats her there, getting in her way, and flicks her back.
“Shit, Monica!” You rush to her side to help her into a sitting position and make sure she’s okay. You help her over to the recliner that you were just on while Peter goes to make a smoothie or something. “What is wrong with you? Why would you do that?”
“Can’t have the two of you messing everything up for the missus.”
“What is this stuff?” Monica asks in what seems to be disgust and you try to figure out what he was talking about. Who’s the missus?
“This is my man-cave.”
“Man-cave?” Your eyebrows scrunch together, not once has Peter ever used the term man-cave.
“A place to chillax, you know, while the missus is turning up trouble.”
“What the fuck?” You mutter to yourself as Peter walks over to the tv and Monica rifles through the papers on the stand next to her.
“You a fan of Steven Seagal?” When he doesn’t get a response he frowns and keeps doing whatever it is he’s doing.
“Agnes doesn’t live here.” You turn to Monica to see her staring down at a piece of paper and lean on the recliner to look over her shoulder. She’s holding a picture of what seems to be Peter with brown hair and a different name typed underneath it. “You do.” Her mouth is wide with shock as she looks up at the boy who fumbles with something. “You’re Ralph Bohner?” She sounds just so confused and you have to admit you are to but you can’t help but also find yourself amused.
“Boner.” Peter chuckles and you giggle a bit at it too. Monica shoots you a look and you shrug at her in response as you cover your mouth. It’s a ridiculous name and you’ve always been as immature as Peter.
“How is she controlling you?” Monica gets up as she asks.
“You wanna tussle again?” Peter gets into a fake fighting stance and bounces around. Monica catches him by surprise and flips him over her shoulder and pins him to the ground. “Meow. She’s feisty.” You ignore how much him flirting with Monica hurts you considering he’s probably under some control. As soon as Monica rips the ugly puka shell necklace from Peter’s neck his face morphs into a scared look. “Please, spare my life!”
“Nice to meet you Ralph.” Monica gets off of him then and you teleport to stand in front of the window behind his head.
“Huh?” He goes to lean up on his elbows and you step closer to lean over his body. Sensing you, he looks up and relief floods through his features.
“Yeah nice to meet you.”
“Y/n!” He uses his speed to stand in front of you. “Are you okay? God I didn’t hurt you too bad did I?” His hand goes to the back of your head to feel for a bump.
“I’m alright Peter, don’t you dare start apologizing because I know you won’t stop. What happened anyway? One minute you’re about to help Wanda and the next you’re knocking us out.”
“I don’t know I guess when I was me for that short bit she was distracted but I was snapped back into her control when I got closer to the house.” He turns to point at Monica. “Good job with the necklace though, I didn’t even know.”
“I could see her energy.” Monica shrugs before tossing it over her shoulder. “We should go help Wanda.”
“We’ll catch up.” Monica nods at you before running out the door. “What is this about?” You hold up the picture for Peter to see.
“When I ended up on the other side of the portal none of this shit was going on. It must’ve been just before it so I found a picture of some dude who looked enough like me to pass and made up an alias.”
“And you chose Ralph Bohner?” One of your eyebrows quirk up and a small smile forms on your lips.
“Alright so I saw it on a gravestone when I ran through the neighborhood to figure out where I was and thought it was funny.”
“It is pretty funny, I’ll give you that. It’s definitely a name I can see you picking. I’m really glad you’re alright Pete, I was so worried when you disappeared.”
“I was pretty worried too. I didn’t know if I was ever gonna see you again.” Peter steps closer to you and caresses the side of your face. The two of you stare at each other for a minute before you clear your throat.
“We should probably go.”
“Yeah.” Peter holds onto the back of your neck and the two of you make it to the town square just in time to see a funnel cake truck smash into a SWORD car. A robotic looking man comes out of the library and the twins run to him yelling dad. “That’s Vision, shame you never got to meet him.” You and Peter stay behind a building so that Agatha doesn’t see the two of you. The two of you watch as the two witches fly up and start to fight in the sky.
“Oh shit!” You both exclaim together as Agatha seems to drain Wanda completely of her power. Peter zips off and comes back with some popcorn offering the bucket out to you. You take a handful as you watch as Wanda takes all of her power back and transforms.
“Damn, she looks good! It’s a good thing I’m so into you Pete because otherwise I’d be hitting on your not really sister.”
“You’re into me?” You don’t even realize what you just said until his words feel your ears.
“Um, well yeah, have been for a while now.” You might as well let him know, maybe if he freaks out you can get Wanda to erase his memory or something.
“Good, I’m pretty into you too.” He just shoves another handful of popcorn in his mouth and keeps watching the moment in front of the two of you and it suddenly starts to turn to night as Wanda and her family walk away. When the both of you walk over to Monica it’s completely dark and the walls of the world are shrinking.
“Is that popcorn?” Monica asks the two of you pointing at the bucket and you nod at her with a small smile. The wall of the world goes past the three of you causing it to be day again.
“It’s not often we get to watch the fights.” You shrug and Peter takes your hand in his own after zipping over to throw the bucket away. “We’re normally almost dying in them.”
Wanda walks into the town square again and all of the townspeople stop to stare at her as she walks up to the three of you. Monica's attention goes to her and she takes a few steps to meet up with Wanda.
“They’ll never know what you sacrificed for them.”
“It wouldn’t change how they see me. And you, you don’t, you don’t hate me?”
“Given the chance and given your power, I’d bring my mom back. I know I would.”
“I’m sorry. For all the pain I caused.” You look over at Peter to see concern on his face and you can tell that he just wants to wrap his arms around this Wanda and console her. He had lost his twin in your own reality and you know how hard this must be for him. You squeeze his hand to remind him you’re here and a small smile appears on his face.
“I know.”
“I don’t understand this power. But I will.” It’s then that Wanda’s attention goes to the two of you. Peter smiles at her and does a little wave and she walks up to the two of you. “So who are you, then?”
“Uh, I’m Peter, Peter Maximoff. Weird, I know right.” He does an awkward laugh and rubs the back of his neck with his free hand and you decide to come to his rescue.
“We’re from a different reality, if that helps at all. He was plucked out of ours and put here I think to get to you, we aren’t completely sure though.”
“Huh, nice to meet the two of you.” Sirens start to get close then and Wanda starts to walk away before turning to face you three. “Goodbye Monica, Peter.” She nods at Peter in acknowledgement.
“Bye, Wanda.” Monica says before Wanda flies away. “Good luck.” As cops start to swarm around you, you turn to Peter.
“Let's go home.” You do what you did to get here and use your strength to open a portal to your own reality and Peter pulls you through before it can snap shut.

It was you all along (Agatha HarknessxFemale reader)
Summary: This is a sweet self-insert love story between Agatha and a Westview citizen. Everything that happens follows the original events of “Wandavision” and MCU, like a parallel.
Chapter: 09/10
Word count: 1.359K
"Yes?", she said out loud.
"Let me in."
It was the voice of a man and Agatha didn’t seem surprised. She opened the door with a quick hand movement. I covered myself with one of the curtains while she just stood there, half-naked, staring at the guy wearing a hoodie over his white hair.
"It’s time", he said, looking at her.
"Are you sure?", she asked, getting up. I blinked for a second and she was already dressed in a purple sweater with her hair up.
"Here", he said, giving her a CD. As she held it, the thing turned into a vinyl. And then into a cassette tape.
"I thought we had more time", she replied to him, but her eyes were on me.
" What are you talking about?", I said, also getting up despite the stranger staring at us. She snapped her fingers and, of course, dressed me up in a black tank top and jeans before my feet even touched the ground. I got nervous. "Will you tell me what’s going on?"
"You gotta get out of here", she said in a rushed voice. "Fietro will take you outside the hex and..."
"I can’t take her", the guy said, moving his shoulders. "The agents already know about that exit. They’re gonna shoot anything that goes through that way."
"You have super speed!", Agatha screamed, scaring the hell out of me.
"But I’m not bulletproof, as you might remember. Neither is she."
I had my arms crossed, waiting for an answer, feeling left out from whatever was happening.
"This is the price", she said, holding me by my elbows. "If Wanda finds out about you, about us, she’ll have no mercy. And I’m not gonna risk it."
I sighed, defeated.
"Take her home", she said, looking at him. "Don’t let anyone see you two together, and be sure to lock everything. And you - she held me tighter - wait for me."
He held out his hand to me. I glanced at Agatha before holding it and everything happened as fast as a heartbeat. The world got blurry when Fietro placed me in his back and just ran until we were in the middle of my living room. At least I was. He was still running through the house, the windows being shut one by one, really fast. Suddenly he stopped in front of me.
"Wait for Agatha", he said.
"I will."
And I did. I thought about packing, but I had no idea where we’d go, so I just laid on my bed. The weird thing that happened with that CD was also happening to everything else in my house, glitching from older to new, and old again. My wallpapers, the furniture, everything! When my computer turned into a typewriter I closed my eyes just for a second. I was so, so tired...
I woke up with Agatha right next to me, breathing heavily. She was wearing a long dress, way different from the purple sweater she had on before. Her hair was also bigger and tangled. For the first time, I actually saw her as a witch. The tips of her fingers were gray like she was holding balls of fire just minutes ago. Maybe she was.
"I don’t have much time", she said, out of breath.
I stared at her. By the look in her eyes, I knew what she was going to say.
"You gotta go first. I need to finish what I started", her voice was breaking. "And I’ll come for you after it ends. I promise."
I tried to look away but she held my chin in her warm hands. She was telling the truth. I did my best trying not to cry when I asked her what I needed to do.
"You’re gonna walk towards the city hall. Just… walk like everything is okay. You’ll see a crowd ahead of you..." she stopped, making sure that I was listening. I nodded "And you’ll keep a safe distance from them until it’s time. I’m gonna make her open a breach in the hex, and when she does, you’re gonna run through it. No looking back."
"But she’ll definitely see me..."
"You won’t be the only one running."
"You’re gonna free everyone?"
"I’m not doing this for them", she said, staring at me and making one of her magic gestures. A tiny object just popped in the palm of her hand: A ring. "As long as you wear this, no one will be able to get in your head or use any magic against you."
She gently put the ring in one of my fingers and smiled at me, only with her eyes. A sad smile. I wish I had something to give to her.
"I will never take it off", I said. And I really meant it.
Agatha was still holding my hand.
"When the hex opens you can’t hesitate."
We both knew that she had to go back to whatever was happening outside. She opened her mouth to say the last thing I wanted to hear. I stopped her right away.
"Don’t you dare."
I violently pressed my lips against hers, a kiss wet by my tears. She was too afraid of losing me to realize how much I also feared to be apart from her. I felt her arms around me, her embrace was the only thing keeping me from falling apart. Agatha closed her eyes and held me tighter for one more second, before waving both of her hands around herself, leaving nothing but purple fog and her scent in my skin.
“I’m just going first”. I told myself that a few times before opening the door. It was just like any sunny day, which felt wrong, somehow. People walking and chatting. I forced myself to take a step, and then another one. I did that for a while, glancing a few times at the ring on my finger just to be sure that was still there. A reminder of her promise.
When I finally reached downtown, the crowd was there. But I couldn’t take my eyes off Agatha. She was flying, her dress just floating along with her hair, pointing in all the directions. She was speaking to Wanda, which I recognized from the magic show. “Focus”, I’ve said to myself, looking away. I took a few steps back, standing a little behind from all the commotion. The crowd was getting bigger and those people were really mad.
They cornered Wanda, everyone talking at once until she lost it. She was crying and screaming, lights coming out of her collapsing body like a red lightning storm… chaos. I walked a little bit further, trying to understand what was happening when I saw Sarah. The woman who welcomed me into Westview was choking and so was everyone else. I placed my hands around my own throat, waiting for that same thing to happen to me, but it never did. The purple stone from my new ring was glowing, instead. I blinked a few times, feeling a little dizzy.
"Use your power and do it NOW!", Agatha said to Wanda, who was now standing. The citizens were all getting up, recovering.
Wanda lifted both of her arms and at that moment she seemed like the strongest person I’ve ever seen. Breaches slowly opened on both sides of the hex as she told us to go. She wouldn’t be able to keep it open for too long.
So I ran. Convincing myself to not look back. My legs felt heavier than ever, but I kept on running. The glitch was everywhere now, the whole city looking like a channel with bad reception. I could see agents on the other side, receiving people, calming them down, making calls... But some of them were getting in with weapons and tanks, and that vision almost made me turn around.
I finally stepped outside that red force field, throwing myself in the arms of one of the agents. I didn’t do it because I was tired or scared. I just needed someone to hold me so I wouldn’t run right back to her.

“letters strewn across your bedroom floor. such beautiful words but you can’t remember who they’re for“
“if i had only felt the warmth within your touch. if i had only seen how you smile when you blush or how you curl your lip when you concentrate enough i would have known what i was living for all along”
previous chapter
The soldier held her hand as they rushed through the dark halls, trying to make the least silence as possible. A black duffle bag hanged from her shoulder, gun holstered to her thigh with one of his knives. The plan was simple enough; the soldier had discovered a plan from one of the girls in the Red Room to escape along with one of the protectors, Alexei, and instead of busting it, he bargained a deal to take her with them. She was good, too good and in no time they were gonna snatch her way from him and make her prove her worth, make her prove to them she is ready to leave the Red Room and become one of their operatives and he would not allow that. He wouldn’t allow them to force her to kill someone; no, she was too good and if there was any good he could do it would be to protect her own goodness. It was simple enough, simple enough had it not been ...
- Find her now. She can’t be far. - he could hear Madam B barking orders from further up the hallway, following my an inundation of steps. The soldier grabbed the girl by his side, pushing her against the wall.
- You have to go, Daisy. - he whispered. - Now.
- I’m not leaving you here. I promised you I wouldn’t. - she held his hand in hers, squeezing it tightly to calm down her own problems.
- Listen to me, doll ... - he cupped her face in his hands, appreciating every single detail of her face from the colour of her eyes, to the warmth of her skin. He wanted to look at her one last time before he forgot what she looked like, before he forgot she ever existed. - You have to go have a life, okay? A good one, do something else, not this. You can do so much more.
- I am living my life and I am definitely not gonna go and start a new one at your expense. We can do this.
- No, we can’t. The longer they take to find you the most likely they’ll find me and make me hurt you and I don’t want to hurt you. - he took his own gun from his holster handing it to her. - You gotta shot me. They can’t force me to go after you if I’m wounded.
- No. - she moved her head side to side, stepping away from him, gun lowered to the ground.
- GO GET THE ASSET. SHE’S NOT LEAVING THIS FACILITY. - one of the Red Room protectors shouted.
Y/N looked around her surroundings, she had been trained for this, she should be able to get out of situations like these but on one side was Alexei waiting for them to make a move and on the other side the Red Room operatives were on the move for her and the soldier. Bucky watched her internal struggle, that tinge of doing what’s right, the spark which ensured she would have a good life. He had no internal struggle, he knew what he had to do. He put the gun barrel against the limit between his skin and the metal of his arm before pulling her flush against him.
- I will find you, I promise.
- No ... we can go some other time. It’s fine. - she tried to reassure him, but her words seemed to reassure. her more than him. She could buy them more time, she could do something, she had to do something.
- I love you, Daisy. - he brushed her hair which had flown from her red hair tie away from her face, leaning down too kiss her one last time. Y/N made sure to make it last as soon as she could, maybe they could get caught, maybe they could have more time, maybe they could do something. He had a different idea and took her distraction to push her finger against the trigger, causing the bullet to go through his shoulder. She pushed back trying to hold him as his muscles relaxed and contracted due to the pain. - GO!
- No!
- We have to go. - Alexei looked over the hall but Y/N remained static, looking at the soldier pressed against the wall. - We’re running out of time.
- Go, Daisy. Right now.
- I’m not leaving you here, I’m not gonna let them hurt you. - the tears started forming on the corner of her eyes. - Please, we can figure something out.
- Go. It’s only for a bit, I’ll find you. I promise you, I’ll find you.
- Y/N. - she held his hand in hers for the last time. - That’s my name, okay? I’m gonna be waiting for you. You better show up.
She stared at him with lips half opened as her ears filled with static noise sound. It was as if the walls were closing in on her and she could no longer breathe. She had always known what to do since she left the Red Room, she had prepared for everything, she knew how to act in every situation but this? This she did not know how to act in.
- Y/N. - she looked over Bucky’s shoulder to see Wanda standing in the kitchen. - Calm down.
Y/N looked over at her hand glowing white mist. She relaxed her hands, the mist disappearing within her skin. Bucky stood there waiting for the answer, not having even noticed her powers, he just noticed her. Maybe he was too naive to expect an answer as once Wanda walked towards her and placed her hand on her shoulder, escorting her out the kitchen. She looked over her shoulder, looking at him as Wanda took her away. She didn’t know if to thank Wanda or not for saving her from that moment. What she knew was that whatever the soul stone had given her manifested when he asked that and the last thing she wanted to do was hurt him again. Wanda led her into one of the control rooms within the hex, closing the door behind her before leaning against it.
- Now, if Monica asks I never deleted anything but ... - she pressed one of the keyboard keys, the screens lighting up with footage from the recent Red Room mission. She watched as the old cameras recorded the moment, the white beam of light expanded from her and made every object that it touched disappear. - As someone whose powers get stronger when life decides to fuck me up, I thought you might need that hidden.
- He knows, Wanda. - she sat on one of the conference tables’s chairs. - He knows and he asked me if I loved him and I couldn’t even answer.
- I think Agatha got to him ... whenever I try to get into his mind it feels exactly like it did when I tried getting to hers. Y/N, she’s trying to see what you can do under pressure and as long as he’s here, the more uncontrollable it’s gonna become.
- What do you suggest? It’s not like element control is that great for world domination so whatever she wants is to use me to get to you most likely.
- I might not know as much as Agatha thinks she knows but there’s chaos, destruction and creation and both of us seem to fit nicely in the three categories. I don’t want you to make same mistakes I did, Y/N.
- What? Create a Bewitched-themed like reality where I’m married to him? Because you know, my father much like Endora would not like it. I don’t think I can do that.
- We don’t know what you can do. I think we should try and ... train you.
- Wanda, you barely know how you did this and I don’t even know how I did that or what it is inside of me for that matter. - Y/N sighed, looking at the paused video on the screen. - It has only happened one time before.
- It has happened before? - the Scarlet Witch cocked her brow, sitting in the chair close to her. - When? There’s no report of it and you know Hayward, he would’ve definitely used it to his advantage.
- Red Room. - she mumbled. - I don’t really wanna talk about it.
- Do you want to show me? - Wanda rose her palm up. She had been working on allowing other people to show her select memories. So far she had gotten Billy and Tommy to show her their first memory of her and had even gotten Yelena to show her some memories too. - You don’t have to.
Y/N rose her hand up to Wanda’s and reality melt away to show the dorm where she used to sleep. Things were so different from what she remembered, the room was smaller than she remembered and even she was different from what she remembered in her dark leggings and shirt issued to her by the supervisors. She was sat on her bed, hands on top of her mattress as her eyes looked to the door every second, waiting for the soldier to come fetch her. Back then, she didn’t know his name; his handler called him the asset but she hated that name so she called him soldier or Winter.
The clock kept ticking and ticking - one hour, two hours past the time he told her he had told her he’d come fetch her. As the third hour approached, she gave up her wait and grabbed her bag from under the bed. He was never late, he was as precise as time itself. If he wasn’t here it had to be because of something else and she did not like it one bit. The halls were dark with flickering fluorescent lights as a much younger version of herself passed down the hall, towards what she could still remember as his own quarters. It was nothing special, in all honesty it was even worse than the girls’ quarters; metal bed, thin mattress and old grey sheets. Peeking inside he wasn’t there, there was no sign of him, just the jacket he had left lingering on the floor. She grabbed it, searching for any indication he had gotten hurt. She would soon get her answer when she heard screaming coming from down the hall. She holstered the jacket over her shoulder before running down the hall to find those screams came from one of the medical bay.
They had him shackled to a chair like an animal, mouth guard stuck in his mouth which prevented which screaming from being louder as a head cage like structure shocked his head. Her hearing ceased as all she heard was static noise and the further voices of the doctors and guards were mere echoes.
- Get away from him! - she yelled out, her eyes glowing white as the guards. pointed their guns at her. - Please, you’re hurting him.
A white beam surrounded her and expanded throughout the whole room. The static sound returned but she ignored it, running over to the soldier whose shackles had disappeared. He looked at his own wrists, wondering if this was a case of his own hallucinations but no, she was there. Everything was gone, everything was gone but him and her, but it didn’t matter, she stood there in front of him, duffel bag over his shoulder.
- Y/N. - Wanda pulled her own hand towards her, removing both of them from the memory she had hidden from the front of her mind for so long. - What happened to those people?
- I don’t know. I tried tracking them using SWORDs data after I escaped but they have never showed up again. - she sighed. - Whatever I am, Agatha knows.
- You’re not suggesting dwindling with Agatha, are you?
- I don’t know, Wanda. What I do know is that right now I’m a danger for everyone and that Buck ... - she stopped herself before she could say anything she would regret sharing. - Agatha knows more about this than we do.
- Let me try and help you, Y/N. Let me try. I know what you’re going through but if you ask Agatha for a favour she will use your own pain against you, she will make you a means to an end.
- You’re the Scarlet Witch, Wanda ... - Y/N got up from her chair and walked to the door, stopping to collect her own thoughts. - I’m just my father’s project gone wrong.
It was late and she didn’t want to think anymore so she just left; after all, she was very good at leaving, leaving Bucky, leaving Wanda. Yet what could she do? It wasn’t like she had a magic mirror which she could ask what she could do or what she controlled or manipulated. She barely even knew who she was outside of who she had been so far. She knew her Red Room file, she knew her SWORD file, she knew her birth certificate but outside of that who was she? She wasn’t really anything outside of that and her bedroom was the picture perfect definition of that. No photos on the walls, no photographs, just a standard bedroom. Except for one thing ...
She knelled by her bed, pushing a large black box from under her bed with her initials monogramed on gold on top of it. Most of her memories were there; from the photo of her and Monica’s class at SWORD, the first Christmas with the twins outside of Westview, a group photo of everyone after a successful mission to the jacket she had kept from Bucky on the night she escaped. The leather was still almost as shiny as it was when she first saw him in it; however, his scent had long faded away from nightmare filled nights, his soldier number ripped from the tag. She watched herself in the mirror, caged by the ghosts of her own repressed memories and so she made a decision. She grabbed the jacket from the box and yanked his dog tags from her neck, exiting her room and walking towards the west wing. She knocked on his door, a sleepy Bucky opened the door followed by whining from Sam and she lost her courage.
- I just wanted to give you this. - she extended his jacket and dog tags towards him. Sure, that won’t make you look weird or anything. Bucky rubbed the sleep off his eyes, taking the jacket and his tags from her. - Huh, yeah. Uhm, if you want we have a laundry service so you can get that properly washed.
- Is that all?
- Yeah. - she scratched the back of her neck turning on her heels to return to her bedroom before she stopped dead in her tracks. - Sergeant Barnes ...
- Yes?
- About what you asked me later ... - she stared at the hall in front of her. Somehow, she could do this when she wasn’t staring at him. - She did love you. I don’t think she ever stopped.
Bucky’s mouth dropped open as he tried to find the words he so certainly had prepared to say the moment he asked her that question; yet now she had the upper hand. Yet again he shouldn’t have been surprised, Y/N had always had the upper hand even when he thought he did. She was a smart girl, too smart for her own good. Before he could even collect himself to say something other than mindless mumbling, she was already gone. He looked around like a crazy fool, wondering where she could’ve gone.
She, as per usual, had taken to go to the outside swing Vision had tried to set for the twins and ended up giving up on it leaving it for Wanda to try. The twins rather play with their own new found abilities rather than a swing; yet Y/N particularly enjoyed it. It stood near the limit of the hex, giving the outside world a blurry sort of glow. It was peaceful, at least it was peaceful enough for her. It meant while she was inside the hex, nothing could harm her. She couldn’t particularly blame Wanda for Westview, were she to be able to do that, she would’ve done it the minute she left the Red Room. Despite Agatha having put a version of Bucky she had never met in Westview, the emotions and the experience of having him at home with her as if they were a regular couple in suburbia.
- I’m starting to think I taught you too well. - she turned her head to the side to see Bucky sat on the swing next to her, jacket in his hand. - I thought to bring the jacket if you were cold.
- I’m fine. - she held onto the rope. - It never gets too cold inside the hex.
- So ... what is this thing we’re in?
- An alternate reality within our reality. Wanda can warp everything she wants into anything she wants. The only thing she can’t do is bring people back from the dead in our own reality.
- What can you do?
- Element control mostly and the rest I don’t know. Turns out HYDRA does not give you an instruction manual after they’ve experimented on you as a baby. - she chuckled dryly.
- I owe you an apology, Y/N. I prom...
- Please do not apologise to me about that. - she interrupted him. - You don’t even know the half of it.

This chapter is a monster so I’m splitting it up into two parts. If y’all wouldn’t mind letting me know if you’re still reading this, I would appreciate it forever.
Small Time Witch (21) part 1
Most of the time when Loki remembered his dreams they were of you or his mother. Sometimes he dreamt of his coronation as king of Asgard with you by his side. The last several nights he would wake up frantic having dreamt of Asgard in ruin. Ragnarok was imminent. He tried several times to reach Thor to no avail. He would go to Asgard in the morning.
You rolled over half asleep reaching out to the warm body that wasn’t there. This is the third time this week Loki had a nightmare. “Lok?”
“In here” he called from the den.
“Another nightmare?” You hugged him from behind. He kissed your hands.
“I don’t think they are nightmares. I think they are warnings. I can’t get in touch with Thor. I’ll have to go to Asgard in the morning.”
“Can I come?”
“I’m afraid not. I don’t know what’s happening and I don’t want you to get hurt.”
“I can help.” You let a little spark jump between your fingers.
“I know you can, Pet. At worst something terrible is happening and I’ll have to help. Which means I will be too distracted worrying about your safety to fight. At best I’m just having nightmares, I’ll see the healers and I’ll be home by the next day. I promise.”
You pouted but didn’t argue. You hated seeing him this worried. You made him a cup of tea and sat with him until he was ready to go back to bed. When you yawned for the third time he tried to get you to go on without him.
“That’s it. Off with you” he said over his book.
“I’m not tired. I want to stay up with you. Hey, Loki, I can put you to sleep like you used to do when I had nightmares.” You slid your hand into the waistband of his pajamas and started stroking his cock. It was only a matter of seconds before it was hard and throbbing in your hand. He always responded so well to your touch.
You didn’t even make it into the bedroom. He bent you over the arm of the sofa and pounded you silly. He made you cum three times before he was able to meet his release. After all that you were a half dead mess. He was still wide awake.
“Shall I carry you, my queen? I’m quite strong you know?” He pulled you from the couch and all but dragged you to bed.
“How are you still so awake?” He shushed you as you climbed under the covers. “Don’t leave me. Get in bed.” You rested your head on his chest and fell asleep before he could turn off the light. Sleep never came for him.
In the morning he made you breakfast and woke you with his tongue diving into your snatch. Your all time favorite wake up. You sat on his lap throughout breakfast. He insisted. It was like he couldn’t get enough of you. Since you returned from Alfheim you hadn’t been apart for more than a few hours. Not knowing when he’s return was making you both a little antsy.
“How will I know you’re there?” you asked impatiently.
“You’ll know. The pull will not be as strong.” His voice was low and somber. You both hated that thought.
“How will I know if you’re hurt or worse?” He grabbed your chin and looked into your eyes.
“If I die, you will too. Remember? The rings keep us bound. They’re still Yggdrasil. My soul is still there.”
“How comforting. What if I take it off to wash my hands and that’s the moment you die. Will I still die?”
He rolled his eyes, “Yes. The moment you return the ring to your finger. You’ll be bound to a dead soul.”
Your stomach was in knots. “Good. Because if you die I’ll find you and drag you out of Hel myself. I’m not feeling good about this, Lok. Let me come with you. Or don’t go. We’ll try Thor again.”
Loki sighed deeply. My my, you were peevish this morning. “Y/N. I have to go. I will be back. I love you more than anything. Much more than Asgard. I promise if anything happens I’ll get out of there and come right home. I promise.” He kissed you deeply. He didn’t want to let go. He looked worried. “I love you, Y/N. Not even death can change that.”
“Please don’t say it like that. I love you too, Lok.” He called for Heimdall and he was off.
You tried to occupy yourself but your mind kept going back to him. After your third cup of tea you decided to go relax in the yard. You grabbed a book and a blanket. You read the same sentence a few times and finally gave up. It was no use. That was it. You had been coupled for so long that you forgot how to be with yourself.
It was really no surprise how broken up you were about Loki being away. You were the same way when you and Andrew broke up. This was different. You and Loki weren’t breaking up. You were blissfully happy. You still had a nagging feeling in your chest that something wasn’t right.
That night you dreamt of a world burning down around you. You tried to get to Loki but you couldn’t in time. Every time you closed your eyes you saw his lifeless face looking back at you purple bruised and bleeding. It made you physically ill.
You did everything in your power to reach Loki. Nothing worked. You searched through his books to try to find a way to access the Bifrost. That was either magic Loki couldn’t do or he didn’t have it in his books. You stumbled across one book titled The Joy of Interstellar Space Travel. When you opened it the pages looked a little off. You place your hand in the center and it went right through the book into a little hole. This must be where Loki kept the tasseract and now it’s gone. Your brain flew into a panic and you started shouting for Heimdall.
You had to stop Loki from doing whatever stupid thing he was about to do. Heimdall never answered. Maybe Strange could get you there. You ran into the kitchen to grab your keys when you heard Loki’s voice.
He looked like he had taken a beating. Exhaustion wracked his body. You tried to touch his face but your hand went right through. He was too weak to make his double corporeal.
“Oh, Loki.”
You could see the tears streaming down his face. “Y/N, I’m not going to make it home. I know I promised and I am so sorry...”
“No” you shook your head furiously, “you promised! Come home. Please!”
He shushed you and cursed himself for not being able to touch you. “I don’t have much time. I need you to warn Wanda and Strange. Tell them Thanos is coming for the stones. You have to hurry. He already has two.”
“What do you mean? If you go I go. I won’t be here to tell them..”
“Yes you will. You have to take off your ring.”
“No! Loki! No! I’m coming with you. I’ll find you in Hel.” You were trembling violently and sobbing. Nothing he could say would calm you.
“You have to. Please. This wouldn’t be happening if I hadn’t taken the tasseract. It’s my fault. Half of our people are gone. I need you to do this.”
“Fuck everyone else. We’re supposed to spend eternity wandering around the afterlife together. We said vows. If you didn’t mean it then....”
He could see logic had escaped you at this point so he got more forceful. “Stop being such a fucking brat and do as I say! Take off the damned ring! NOW. You need to live. You just have to. I’m sorry that this is happening but you shouldn’t be made to suffer because of me.”
He may as well have slapped you. Both of you were prostrate with grief. With every ounce of strength he had he forced his double to solidify so that he may feel you one more time. He placed his hands on the side of your face and made you to see him.
“I love you. Please say you love me. My little queen. Tell me.”
“I love you, Loki. Please don’t leave me. What am I supposed to do without you?”
He took a deep strained breath. Blood was trickling out of his nose and his eyes were rimmed red, “Live.” He snatched the ring off your finger and fizzled out.
You screamed his name like a wild banshee and summoned a wind that knocked everything off the walls. You couldn’t feel your body tumbling to the floor. You couldn’t breathe. You were certain for a split second your heart stopped. The blood rushing through your ears was so loud you couldn’t hear your phone ringing. You held out your hand to bring it over. On the other end was Wanda’s panicked voice.
“Y/N! What happened? Y/N!”
Your voice was very calm and monotone, “Thanos is coming for the stone. You have to get Vision out of there. Loki’s dead. Thanos has the tasseract. I have to call Strange.”
You hung up and dialed Strange’s number. No answer. Your television clicked on. You hadn’t turned it on. The news story flashed on the screen saying that New York was attacked. Thanos was already on his way.
You stayed on the kitchen floor clutching your ring and you cried. There was nothing else you had strength for.
🔆🔆🔆🔆🔆🔆🔆🔆🔆🔆🔆🔆🔆🔆
STEVE
The Quinjet could not carry Steve to New York fast enough. He paced the entire time they were in the air. He kept trying your phone but it was going right to voicemail.
“Pick up, damn it.”
Wanda assured him you were still alive. She couldn’t concentrate long enough to feel you. He called Ororo.
“Captain Rogers. Good to hear from you. What are we looking at?”
“A mad titan coming to earth to collect stones that will help him wipe out half the population.”
“Must be a Tuesday,” she said in jest. “How can we help?”
Steve let out a deep sigh, “We stopped some of his followers in Belfast. I’m sure you saw they captured Tony Stark in New York. Truthfully I have no idea. Ororo, is Y/N alone?”
“She is. She won’t let anyone in the house. Agatha can’t get through the magic she put up. She’s umm...” her voice faltered, “she’s in so much pain. Jean can’t get through to her. Logan has stationed himself outside. When we first got there all we could hear was her screaming. She won’t let us help her.”
“Ok. We’ll be in New York in a few hours. Let me know if anything changes.” He hung up and braced himself against the wall. Bucky put his hand on Steve’s shoulder to comfort him. “Buck, when we land I want you to go straight to Y/N.” Bucky nodded and paced the floor with him.
As soon as they got back to the compound Steve tried calling you again. This time you answered but didn’t say anything. He could hear you sniffling on the other end. “Y/N, Bucky is coming to get you ok? You need to let him in.” You didn’t answer him at first. His heart was breaking for you. He squeezed his eyes his eyes shut, “Come on, Princess, I know you can hear me. Say something.”
“Ok” Click. At least that was something. Bucky grabbed some keys and found the car they belonged to. He raced to you as fast as he could. When he pulled up Logan greeted him.
🔅🔅🔅🔅🔅🔅🔅🔅🔅🔅🔅🔅🔅🔅
“She won’t let anyone in” Logan huffed.
Bucky advanced towards the house. He was scared to death that you were going to kill him. “She knew I was on the way. What’s stopping you from getting in? Will it kill me if I try?”
“Not exactly. It’s just that when you get close you can’t move. Like your body won’t advance or doesn’t want to. I can’t explain it accurately.” Logan was flustered. He had been trying to get to you for hours with no luck.
“Can she hear us talking or should I call her phone?”
“She can hear.”
The front door and windows were open. You were sitting on the couch staring at the wall. You looked so lost and pissed. Really pissed. The most scary thing is that you looked like you were scheming. Murderously scheming. Bucky hoped that none of Loki’s stupid tendencies rubbed off on you.
He got as close as you would allow and he spoke softly. “Hey, doll. Steve sent me to get you. We don’t want you to be alone. But if you don’t want to go I will sit here and wait as long as you want. But, I haven’t watched this season of Drag Race. If you want to let me in I can watch with you. I brought the essentials.”
Agatha perked up, “Keep going, Bucky. It’s working” she whispered.
“I have Funions from the gas station. I know you like road trip snacks. I also have peanut butter M&M’s and Oreos. If you have some ice cream we can make milkshakes. I have bourbon if you want to make it interesting. Not the fancy kind. That rot got Irish shit that burns when you swallow....”
“I hope you brought enough for everyone” you finally said. Bucky stood up and gingerly stepped into the doorway.
“I have plenty. Didn’t know how long I’d be here. Can we come in?”
“Door’s open, Buck.” He walked in quietly and sat on the couch.
“Everyone calm down. I’m not going to flip out. Sit down. Eat. I have leftovers in the fridge. Wolfie have you ever seen Drag Race?”
After a few drinks and lots of snacks everyone was ready to get some sleep. Ororo, Jean and Agatha headed back to the school. It wasn’t a long drive. You promised to call in the morning. No way Logan was leaving you. He set himself up in Thor’s room. Wade found the other bedroom. Bucky offered to take the couch but you asked him to sleep in bed with you.
He shot Steve a text. Instead of texting back he called.
“Hey. How’s it going over there?” Steve was very anxious. He didn’t know how to talk to you.
“Fine. I’m going to see if she’ll get some sleep. Agatha made her some tea. Said it had a mild sedative. I’m going to sit up with her.”
“Is she around? Can I talk to her?”
“You’re on speaker.”
It was quiet for a moment. “Hey, Steve. I’m ok. Well I’m not ok. I’m fucking gutted. I’m ok for now. I’ll go back with Bucky in the morning.”
“Take your time, sweetheart. We do kind of need all hands on deck though. I know the girls are dying to see you too. Get some sleep ok?”
“Ok.” and you clicked off the phone. “Has he always sounded like a worried mother or is that new?”
“Be nice” Bucky scolded. “He’s just worried. We all are. I’m going to shut off the light ok? Sleep.”
You held on to Bucky the whole night. You fought against the sedative for as long as you could but it finally won. As soon as you closed your eyes, there he was. Loki’s face was purple bruised and bloodied. His neck looked broken. His eyes were open and just stared unfocused. You tentatively reached out a hand to touch him but you pulled back.
You wanted to hit him, to scream in his face. You couldn’t bring yourself to move. Finally, you crawled towards him and situated yourself where you were laying against his chest. You used to fall asleep listening to his heart beating. There was only silence. You pulled his arm over you and tried to will him to wake up. When you squeezed him harder he turned to dust in your arms. You screamed and, judging by the look on the three men’s faces, you were screaming for real.
“Sorry, guys. Bad dream.” You settled back down and kept having the same dream. You didn’t scream anymore. You just held him as long as you could.
🟠🔴🔵🟣🟢🟡
The next morning you sent Logan and Wade home. You promised them you would be ok and that you wouldn’t murder a Titan without calling them first. You and Bucky chatted on the car ride back. The conversation was light and took your mind off of things.
When you got closer to the compound you got quiet. Seeing everyone again was making you feel anxious. Bucky held your hand. It felt like the first time you visited the compound with Wanda. Loki made you feel so safe.
You were trying to keep your emotions in check but when you saw Wanda, all of that went out of the window. She wrapped you in her arms and you melted down. “We were really happy.” Was all you could say. She and Nat took you upstairs so they could help you take a bath.
Bucky plopped in the chair. Steve looked at him like he wanted to ask a question but he was reluctant.
“How did she sleep?” he finally asked.
“She screamed in her sleep all night. Every time I thought she settled down it would happen again. The three of us took turns keeping watch. She electrocuted Wade once when he tried to shake her awake. It was pretty funny. She’s not ok, Steve.”
Steve signed and rubbed his face, “Shit. Why don’t you go take a nap and we’ll meet downstairs in a couple of hours?”
Already nodding off, Bucky didn’t have to be told twice. Steve paced outside of your door wanting to see you so badly. Finally Nat came out to get you some water.
“Does she want to eat? Can I see her?” He followed Nat down the hall bombarding her with questions.
She put her hand on his shoulder, “I know there are probably still feelings in there but you have to reign them in. She just lost her husband. Let her grieve before you swoop in.”
“I’m not swooping. Who is swooping? Wait! Husband?! They’re married?”
“Yes. Apparently he figured out a way to share his immortality with her. In doing so some elf priest split their souls and intertwined them together. If she puts back on her wedding ring she dies. It’s complicated.”
Steve’s head was spinning. He was still trying to understand the very simple fact that you and Loki were husband and wife.
“Does she want to see me?” His voice was small and timid.
Nat rolled her eyes, “Just go, Steve.”
He opened the door slowly and peered around the corner. You were sitting on the bed with your head in your hands. Wanda was rubbing your back.
He had never presumed that his relationship with you was on the same level as what you had with Loki. He did not share your twin abilities to know what the other is feeling. But this time, he could feel the despair drifting off of you like a fog.
He knelt beside the bed to try to see your face. You didn’t acknowledge him but you didn’t pull away. He had no words of comfort to give you. He could not take your pain away. He could only offer support.
“How can I help?” he whispered. You sat up and took his hands in hours. Your face was haggard and your body somehow looked frail.
“You can’t. I know it’s your nature to try to fix things but you can’t. Just be my friend.”
“Then that’s what I’ll do. Wanda, why don’t you go check on Vision? See how the plans are coming. I’ll stay here.”
Wanda was reluctant to leave. She promised not to go far. As soon as the door clicked closed Steve got into bed with you and scooped you into his lap. You buried your face in his shirt and screamed until you passed out. He held on to you as tight as he could to absorb as much as you would give.
The whole team hovered outside of your door until Steve came out. “She’s asleep. Let’s go hash this out. Let her get some rest.”

WV Predictions
Based on the pattern of previous episodes, the finale will probably begin by cutting to someone we haven’t seen in ep 8. I hope it is Monica because I have questions about her and Fietro. He still seems to be under Agnes’ possession. I wonder if Monica could change that somehow.
I really WANT, it probably won’t get, a moment where she exposes herself purposefully to extradimensional energy and turns into pure energy.
And I am intrigued with her being paired with Fietro because he MIGHT (unless Marvel is just trolling us) be an EXTRADIMENSIONAL being.
If Agnes did bring him in from another dimension, how? What magical thing in her weird basement is that? Can we expose Monica to it and power her up fully? (Possibly she is powered up fully already after going through the barrier and that will be the most I get but I want the big HUMAN SHAPED STARBURST where it is just like bow down peasants. It would also be nice if it WERE X-Men Peter because then he could help with the fighting once he is not possessed.)
Unclear what Agatha’s plan is at this point. I mean if Wanda is “a myth” who has so much power why would you antagonize her? Give her those kids and run! You don’t get to be as old as Agatha by having no sense of self preservation.
I think perhaps she might explain “Scarlet Witch” further or set Fietro against Wanda but don’t really see a knock down drag out fight between these two.
Then there are the scenes from the trailers, where Wanda is in the same outfit and tells Vision this is their home and he says, “let’s fight for it.” I think that all must be against VisionQuest. (Him flying quickly and her flying down the street.) I don’t think they are fighting Agatha in that moment so that is mostly what makes me think that conflict must resolve without her having to change or be injured.
There is also a scene in the trailers where Wanda is in a different top and jeans and they hold hands and look out the window. That concerns me more.
I am worried Vision will simply ask her to take down the Hex. That he doesn’t want to live at the expense of the people of Westview and that might be their last moments together.
I am ALSO concerned that Billy and Tommy are not with them in that moment. Agatha, if you take them I won’t think you are fun anymore. Also it’s a dumb plan because she will hunt you down. (I had a thought that they might be pushed into some sort of Multiverse Nexus and that might be why she needs Doctor Strange but I don’t know how that would work unless Fietro really is Peter Maximoff.)
There is a question of if Billy and Tommy would survive the Hex being taken down. I tend to agree with Monica that Wanda’s children are “hers” and that scene was put in there for a reason. Monica delivered them, I trust her opinion. I don’t know if it’s a happy ending if the woman so grief stricken she literally went to an alternate universe suddenly has two minors she is responsible for. But it may be solace for Wanda.
My hope would be that she and Agatha could strike some kind of bargain. That Agatha protects the kids while she and Vision fight VisionQuest, possibly in exchange for access to Wanda’s magic/tutelage. But she might have to outwit Agatha first, possibly by setting runes around the Hex which seemed very heavy-handedly placed in this current episode—which Wanda could do by thinking it. She manipulates reality, woman.
Monica better get to beat Hayward up. And I hope Jimmy, who always remembers what section of the Sokovian accords someone broke (see his talk with Cassie in “Ant-man and the Wasp” and when he thought Wanda stole Vision’s body) knows exactly what to arrest him for. He’s a federal agent from a different agency. He should take one look at VisionQuest and be like, “okay, you are so arrested. This is dumb.” Plus he has a bunch of Air Force people to help him, thanks to Monica. Maybe he will get to punch more SWORD agents! Maybe Darcy will too!
Ooh that makes me happy.

Press: A Thorough Breakdown of All the Marvel Easter Eggs on WandaVision
POPSUGAR: WandaVision has finally arrived, and it’s chock-full of hidden goodies for Marvel fans to devour! While the series is built upon a mystery that we’ll be spending a reported nine episodes trying to figure out, the smallest details in each episode provide clues on where the show is heading. From supermarket banners to foreboding commercials, viewers have an abundance of references and callbacks to classic comic lore and pivotal MCU moments. Are they setting the stage for a big reveal at the end, or are they just fun details included for fans to enjoy? While we try to figure it all out, scroll through to see what we’ve gathered! And check back every week for an episode-by-episode breakdown as WandaVision progresses.
WandaVision Episode 7 Easter Eggs
The episode opens the morning after Wanda has expanded the border of the Hex, finding the Avenger hiding from the world under her comforter. The comforter in question has a hexagon pattern, which is both a nod to the overall theme of the show as well as a metaphor for how Wanda is literally hiding away under a hex.
Billy and Tommy run into the room to reveal that their video game console has been messing up. Everything in the house is glitching, trying to transform back to earlier versions of themselves.
Billy also tells his mother that his head hurts and things are “noisy.” Since the twin inherited his mother’s ability to read minds, it seems he’s able to hear the thoughts of everyone in the bubble (and near it on the outside, since he was able to hear his father when he was dying). It’s a sign that Billy’s powers are growing, which means we could see the little boy reach his Wiccan potential before the end of the season.
Wanda wanders into the kitchen as the news drones on in the background. The news station is called W.N.D.A. or Wanda. The newscaster makes pointed comments, noting that there’s “not a thing weighing heavily on your conscience,” and that they “hope your little ghosts arrived home safe last night. It’s always such a treat to see those creepy kiddos out and about once a year.” The comments refer to Wanda’s building guilt at her actions in the previous episode and the rare appearance of children during the Halloween episode.
As Wanda makes her breakfast of “Sugar Snaps,” a nod to the big Snap of the universe, her milk carton reverts from its modern design to the old school glass bottle and back. The carton has a missing person’s ad on the back with a picture of a little boy on the back. This could be a reference to the oft-mentioned absence of children of Westview, and what could have happened to them.
Wanda and the twins “break the fourth wall” frequently to talk to the camera in the same vein as Modern Family.
This week’s theme song sounds similar to The Office’s, which also usings talking head segments like Modern Family. The opening credits are similar to the show Happy Endings and allude to the show’s focus on Wanda, even attributing the creation of WandaVision to her with the title image. Vision is notably completely absent from the opening credits, but there’s a clue that someone else is watching in a message that reads, “I know what u are doing Wanda.”
Agnes stops by to take the boys off of Wanda’s hands, which the exhausted mother is exceedingly grateful for. The twins are visibly uncomfortable with the idea, with Tommy asking Wanda if they have to and Billy telling his mother that someone has to stay to take care of her. It seems like they can sense that something is off with their “kindly” neighbor.
Wanda sends them off with Agnes, but once they’re gone, her magic goes incredibly haywire. All the furniture begins glitching again, with the stork from the painting in episode three making a reappearance. “I don’t understand what’s happening,” Wanda laments during a talking head segment. “Why it’s all falling apart and why I can’t fix it.” The off-screen interviewer responds, “Do you think maybe it’s what you deserve?” which visibly unnerves Wanda, who notes that they aren’t supposed to speak. It’s another sign that Wanda does not have as much control as she’s been led to believe.
Cue the sixth commercial, and it’s even more pointed than any of the others have been. It’s an ad for the antidepressant Nexus, for “when the world doesn’t revolve around you. Or does it?” The drug allows people to anchor themselves to the reality of their choice with side effects that include “feeling your feelings, confronting your truth, seizing your destiny, and possibly more depression.” Whew, the pointed commentary is even making me sweat. Nexus is a nod to two things: Wanda’s crippling inability to deal with the trauma she’s been through and her depression that’s pushed her into the creation of Westview, and two Marvel comics concepts. The first is the Nexus of All Realities is a kind of gateway point between dimensions from which all universes in the multiverse can be accessed. (Remember, Wanda’s next reported appearance is in Multiverse of Madness.) The second concept is the existence of Nexus beings, people who have powers that can alter reality, probability, and the Universal Time Stream. Guess which two Westview residents are considered Nexus beings? That’s right, Wanda and Vision! The commercial can either be just a cheeky nod to the couple’s seemingly infinite power or an allusion to the bigger picture that WandaVision is leading to.
While Darcy and Vision are attempting to make their way to the house, the doctor gives the synthezoid a brief rundown of his origin story, explaining how he died twice in an attempt to save the world. Vision points out that it seems like someone is trying to keep him from getting home, which spurs him to fly off, leaving Darcy behind in the blocked truck.
Billy and Tommy are watching Yo Gabba Gabba in Agnes’s lowkey creepy home. (It tickles me that Yo Gabba Gabba is more canon in the MCU than the X-Men or Fantastic Four right now.) While Billy pets Agnes’s bunny Señor Scratchy, he notes that he likes being around the older woman because he’s unable to hear any of her thoughts. “You’re quiet inside,” he says, an allusion to the idea that Agnes can hide her thoughts from him because she has magic.
Back outside the Hex, after the super-rover isn’t able to penetrate the field, Monica decides to run through it again. As she struggles through the barrier and we watch her, a montage of dialogue from Captain Marvel plays. The voices of Maria, Nick Fury, and Carol play over Monica getting through, and as Captain Marvel says “when they were handing out little kids, your mom got the toughest one,” Monica she pushes through to the other side. She lands in the stereotypical three-point-stance of all Marvel heroes, and her eyes glow, showing that she can see energy. We just witnessed the rise of Photon, folks! (Or Spectrum or Pulsar.)
Monica confronts Wanda in her home, and as their fight spills onto the lawn, the residents of Westview watch from their own homes. The delivery man is wearing a “Presto Delivery” uniform, a reference to the magic words said by magicians before they pull a magic trick.
In the first blatant show of Agnes’s ulterior motives, the older woman stops the fight when she realizes Monica is getting through to Wanda and pulls the young mother into her home. But when Wanda gets there, she notices the green bug and rabbit in the living room and the lack of her sons’ presence. When she asks Agnes where the boys are, she’s told to head to the basement, where the big showdown occurs. The scene hints at the eventual disappearance of Billy and Tommy.
Wanda notices a book on an altar, which could be the Darkhold, also known as The Book of Sins, The Shiatra Book Of The Damned. Originally a collection of papers known as the Chthon Scrolls, the book contains all the spells and ideas of the evil Elder God known as Chthon. The book is a conduit for Chthon’s power and can open a doorway from Earth to Chthon’s dimension. If that book is in Agnes’s basement, it stands to logic that she may be working with the evil god. The Darkhold emits an orange glow, which is a distinctly different color than the purple of Agatha’s magic.
Speaking of magic, Agnes finally reveals herself as the witch we’ve known her to be. Although the show tells us that “it’s been Agatha all along,” it still doesn’t ring completely true. There’s definitely more at work than just Agatha’s magic.
In the mid-credits sequence, Monica is caught snooping in Agnes’s backyard by Pietro. Her eyes seem to glow purple, the same color that signals Agatha’s magic. Does this mean she’s now under the witch’s spell?
WandaVision Episode 6 Easter Eggs
The opening credits for episode six seem to be a tribute to Malcolm in the Middle, which ran for seven seasons between 2000 and 2006.
The entire Wanda and Vision family wear their comic book character costumes for Halloween.
There’s another reference to Thanos’s snap as Director Tyler Hayward talks about dealing with the repercussions of all the people “who left.”
The terrifying Yo-Magic commercial seems to foreshadow Vision’s future. Even though Wanda was seemingly able to bring Vision back to life, it looks like he won’t stay alive for long as it’s implied that he can’t exist outside of the Hex later in the episode.
Blink and you’ll miss the fun Disney movie Easter egg on Westview’s movie theater. The sign outside the theater shows a double feature of The Incredibles and The Parent Trap. Connecting right to Wanda’s family, The Incredibles is about a family of superheroes, while The Parent Trap is about a pair of long-lost twins reuniting.
Wanda’s changing accent has been brought up countless times by fans, and in episode six, Pietro makes a slight reference to it when Wanda asks, “What happened to your accent?” to which he quips, “What happened to yours?”
There is another reference that Agnes is actually Agatha Harkness as she is spotted wearing a witch costume on Halloween.
It appears that Vision has no memories pre-Westview, as a conscious Agnes tells him he’s one of the Avengers, and he has no clue what she’s talking about.
The episode further hints at Monica’s powers as Darcy confirms that the Hex rewrote her cells on a molecular level.
A few interactions between Pietro and Wanda have fans wondering if he might actually be Mephisto in disguise. Not only is he fully aware about Wanda creating Westview, but he makes several references to the devil and hell throughout the episode.
WandaVision Episode 5 Easter Eggs
Wanda and Vision’s brand new house, suitable for a family of four, is reminiscent of homes in ’80s sitcoms such as Full House and Growing Pains.
When Agnes comes in to offer her babysitting help, she refers to herself as “Auntie Agnes,” which is eerily close to her comic counterpart’s nickname, Auntie Agatha.
An uncomfortable break in conversation leads Agnes to ask Wanda if she wants her to “take it from the top.” Though Wanda appears confused for a moment, she readily smoothes the conversation and carries on. Vision is visibly perturbed, though Wanda attempts to redirect his attention. It seems like the facade is fading all around.
To the surprise of their parents, Tommy and Billy age up five years while the two argue over Agnes’s break in character.
This episode’s opening sequence shows Wanda and Vision growing up, which we know didn’t happen in real life for the synthezoid. The theme song sounds very similar to those from Family Ties and Growing Pains, and consists of lyrics noting that “we’re just making it up as we go along.” Sounds pretty close to how things are going with Wanda and Vision!
When Wanda’s scans come back, they’re inconclusive and show up blank. Considering Monica gains her powers due to bombardment by extradimensional energies in the comics, it’s entirely possible that the blast from Wanda back in episode three, coupled with passing through the forcefield around Westview twice, have given her those abilities. We could be seeing the rise of Photon!
While Jimmy Woo is explaining Wanda’s backstory to the agents of S.W.O.R.D., Director Hayward asks if she’s ever used a “funny nickname” like the other Avengers. She hasn’t, in fact, she’s never been referred to as Scarlet Witch in the MCU ever. Since her powers are different from her comic book counterpart, there’s never been a reason for anyone to call her a witch.
That never-before-seen post credits scene from Infinity War has officially made its debut. Director Hayward reveals footage of Wanda entering S.W.O.R.D. headquarters to steal Vision’s disassembled body. The video harks back to a moment in the comics where Vision was kidnapped and taken apart — but still very much alive. Much like that Vision, the one in Westview has his memory wiped and doesn’t remember anything before he woke up in his new world. So, the question is whether Vision is actually alive or not. Wanda’s hallucination from episode four might suggest he’s a walking corpse, but there’s more to the story.
Jimmy mentions that Wanda’s stealing of Vision’s body violates the Sokovia Accords, which haven’t been mentioned since Captain America: Civil War. Unfunnily enough, the Accords were a direct response to the mission gone wrong in Lagos where Wanda lost control of her powers and caused the death of many civilians.
Darcy mentions that Vision is playing “Father Knows Best in Surburbia,” referencing the ’50s sitcom.
Tommy and Billy find a dog that, with the help of Auntie Agnes, they name Sparky. The Vision family has a dog with that exact name in the King and Walta comics, but he’s green. Sadly, he meets a similar fate as his live-action counterpart.
Wanda blatantly uses her powers in front of Agnes, who has seemingly handled the magic around her with ease. It’s almost as if she’s used to magic.
Darcy calls the Westview anomaly the “hex” because of its hexagonal shape. Although the magic has been taken out of the phrase, Wanda’s powers are known as hexes in the comics.
Jimmy, Monica, and Darcy try to understand how Wanda can revive Vision and control the Hex, which takes much more power than she’s ever displayed before. Monica notes that Wanda has always been powerful, being the only Avenger who was close to taking down Thanos singlehandedly, which Jimmy interjects to note that Captain Marvel could as well. Both are empowered by Infinity Stones, with Carol’s Kree biology giving her a power boost.
When Jimmy brings up Captain Marvel, Monica is visibly uncomfortable and changes the subject back to Wanda. What happened there?
Vision’s office mates learn about the sweet glory that is dial-up internet! But when he and Norm open their first bit of electronic mail, it’s a transmission picked up from S.W.O.R.D. talking about the Maximoff anomaly.
Vision breaks through Norm’s conditioning, revealing that he’s under the control of a woman (alluding to it being Wanda). He directly references his family, a conversation that Jimmy mentioned in his notes in the last episode.
The twins have aged themselves up to 10 by this point and are seemingly completely aware that Wanda has control over certain aspects of life, like time. They point out that it was Saturday when they woke up, but Wanda says it’s now Monday. She apparently changed the day to send Vision to work. Is their awareness because they also have magic or because she doesn’t control them?
Monica sends an ’80s drone into Westview after working out that Wanda’s Hex is rewriting reality to suit each era occurring in the bubble, and the drone would need no era-appropriate change. Though she attempts to speak with Wanda through the drone, Director Hayward commands agents to fire a missile at Wanda instead — directly ignoring that Monica said she doesn’t see Wanda as a danger. The action results in Wanda leaving the Hex and confronting the S.W.O.R.D. agents outside. She’s wearing the suit we last saw her wearing in Infinity War and Endgame and has her accent back, although it’s much thicker than it’s been since Ultron.
Episode five’s commercial is more pointed than any of them have been. Lagos brand paper towels directly reference the city in which Wanda accidentally killed several people in Civil War by blowing up a building. Thus, the Sokovia Accords were born.
While Wanda and the twins are searching for a missing Sparky — with no one calling out the fact that Wanda disappeared for some time — the mailman tells the boys that their mom “won’t let him get far.” It seems almost like a dig at how no one can leave Westview, like the doctor mentioned during episode three.
When Agnes reveals that Sparky died after eating too many azalea bush leaves, the boys ask their mother to reverse his death. Agnes seems particularly surprised by the idea of Wanda having that ability despite having seen other displays of her power and watching the twins age up rapidly twice. Wanda tells the twins that they can’t reverse death as there are still rules to things, which almost seems hypocritical considering her circumstances. Is she trying to say that she hasn’t revived Vision? Or is she simply trying to keep her boys from expecting too much from her?
Later that night, Vision reveals that he unearthed Norm’s repressed memories and demands to know what’s going on. He tells Wanda that she can’t control him, which she cooly responds asking him, “Can’t I?” Although the credits start rolling, their argument continues as Vision unleashes his frustration with not knowing his past and his confusion over their circumstances. Wanda tells him that she doesn’t control everything, saying, “I don’t even know how all of this started.” Vision believes it began subconsciously, but chastises Wanda for letting it get that far. Wanda reiterates that she isn’t controlling everything, which gives weight to the theory that there’s someone else behind the scenes. But who could it be if Wanda isn’t the “she” that Norm was referring to?
Mid-argument, the Vision family doorbell rings, which Wanda states she didn’t do. I’m inclined to believe her because when she opens the door, she is genuinely shocked speechless. At the door is her “brother” Pietro, now sporting the face of Evan Peters. Darcy asks the question we were all thinking as the episode closes, “She recast Pietro!?”
WandaVision Episode 4 Easter Eggs
This episode opens with the heartbreaking reveal that Monica Rambeau was one of the people lost to the Snapture from Infinity War. She returns from Endgame’s Reverse-Snap in a hospital where she had been awaiting news after her mother Maria’s surgery.
As Monica is waking up, we hear familiar voices echoing in her head. It’s Captain Marvel calling her by her childhood nickname, Lieutenant Trouble.
As Monica weaves through the chaos of people reappearing in the hospital post-Reverse-Snap, she finally locates someone who recognizes her. Although Maria survived the surgery five years ago, she died from cancer three years ago in real time, having not been blipped with her daughter.
We finally have some information on S.W.O.R.D.! The acronym stands for Sentient Weapon Observation Response Division, rather than the meaning in Marvel comics, which is Sentient World. It sounds a little more ominous, right?
Maria’s badass legacy continues well past her friendship with Captain Marvel; according to S.WO.R.D.’s acting director, Tyler Hayward, Maria helped build the agency during its inception. She was the acting director until her death.
Tim gives Monica a mission to help out the FBI in the town of WestView, NJ, where something super freaky is going on with a missing person’s case. This confirms that WestView is, indeed, a very real place.
Welcome back, Jimmy Woo! Monica’s FBI contact is none other than Scott Lang’s parole officer and semifriend, Agent Jimmy Woo.
Jimmy reveals that a person in witness protection has somehow dropped off the map in a town that no longer seems to exist where no one recalls anyone who lived there. In an attempt to figure out what’s going on, Monica sends in a S.W.O.R.D. drone that vanishes inside the forcefield. It’s revealed to have transformed into the retro-style helicopter that Wanda picks up in episode two! We can only assume that since it’s an item from the outside world, it gained color when it entered Wanda’s reality to show that it doesn’t belong.
Darcy Lewis is back! Now a doctor in astrophysics, Darcy is called to help figure out what’s gone wrong with WestView. She’s the one who figured out a signal for the broadcast and is the owner of the hand we saw watching Wanda and Vision in episode one.
The mysterious beekeeper from episode two is revealed to be S.W.O.R.D.’s Agent Franklin, who journeyed through Westview’s sewers to investigate. His hazmat suit became a beekeeper’s uniform, and the cable around his waist becomes a jump rope as he travels through the tunnels.
Darcy explains that the sitcom that’s become Wanda and Vision’s life is literally being broadcast through the signals that S.W.O.R.D.’s viewing, with an audience and everything. There’s no explanation for how this is happening, but Darcy and company watched those first three episodes just like we did, credits and all.
Darcy also points out that Vision is supposed to be dead-dead, which leaves his presence in WestView still unexplained.
While Darcy and Jimmy can identity a majority of the neighbors we’ve met in WestView to their real-life counterparts, Dottie and Agnes are the only ones who are missing real information.
It’s revealed that Agent Woo was the voice behind the radio disruption, just as we suspected! But while we can see Wanda and Dottie’s reaction to the call, Darcy’s broadcast didn’t show the same thing. She explains that someone is “censoring” the visuals they’re receiving, which means someone knows they’re watching.
Back in the sitcom WestView, we see that Monica’s slip-up resulted in Wanda blasting her through the house and the energy field. It’s the first time we physically see Wanda using her powers again, so she still has them. But the lapse in her facade has consequences — when Vision returns from his talk with Agnes and Herb outside, Wanda hallucinates him as she last saw him in Infinity War, a corpse with his head crushed in.
It’s important to note that Vision seems to become more aware of the strangeness of their world with each episode. It makes sense because no matter how human he may seem, he’s still a synthezoid who has always been able to see beyond the superficial. It harks back to his “birth” in Age of Ultron. He’s omnipotent and always learning.
When Monica lands back in the real world, all she says is, “It’s all Wanda.” That seemingly serves as an answer to what’s going on in WestView, but it’s not a whole answer. Wanda seems just as confused and unaware as everyone else, but she is willing to stay in her “perfect” world. The question is, who put Wanda in the position to have her perfect world?
WandaVision Episode 3 Easter Eggs
Much like the comics, Wanda magically becomes pregnant! But this time around, things are progressing much more quickly, and her doctor isn’t Dr. Strange.
The first of the episode’s weird glitches happens with Wanda and Vision’s neighbor Herb, who is attempting to saw through the brick fence separating the two houses instead of trimming his hedges. When Vision points out that his aim has gone a bit askew, Herb’s detached reaction is a bit creepy. He thanks Vision but keeps sawing through the wall! And unlike the previous weird behavior, there’s nothing that triggers the moment, especially not from Vision or Wanda.
Wanda and Vision contemplate what to name their baby boy, with Vision suggesting Billy and Wanda throwing out Tommy. (The argument becomes moot when they have twins!) These are the names of the pair’s sons in the comic, who later become members of the Young Avengers. In the show, Wanda chooses her name because it’s “all-American,” which is also a fair indicator of why her perfect reality is framed around sitcoms. Vision cites William Shakespeare as his inspiration and uses a quote from As You Like It that seems pretty on the nose. “All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players” seems like a pointed reference to the fact that WandaVision is, in fact, all a show.
Wanda decorates the nursery using Simser brand paint, which is most likely a nod to Jeremy Simser, a storyboard artist for Marvel Studios and WandaVision.
The second glitch appears when Wanda says the residents of WestView always seem “on the verge of discovering our secret.” Vision has a moment of sobering clarity where he notes that something is wrong in WestView, citing the incidents with Mr. and Mrs. Hart and their neighbor Herb. A second after his says this, reality glitches and the scene starts over with Vision seemingly worry-free. The last time this happened with the beekeeper, it was clear Wanda was the culprit in turning back time, but in this case, she doesn’t seem to do anything to force the change. This suggests someone else is pulling the strings.
Wanda mentions that their child could be human or “synthezoid,” a term that originates in the comics. Although fans like to joke that Vision is an android, he’s technically a synthetic human. He’s not made of metal or machinery — in the comics, his body is composed of the bioengineering tech of Dr. Helen Cho, while in the MCU, he’s made of organic tissue mixed with vibranium and “powered” by the Mind Stone.
Vision jokes that Billy will be just like his mom, which is funny because, in the comics, Billy has magical abilities similar to Wanda’s powers. Tommy ends up having superspeed abilities like his uncle, Pietro.
It’s time for the third commercial! Much like the previous episode’s watch promotion, this break references Hydra — though a tad more directly. It’s all about Hydra Soak, and the message is decidedly more pointed than we’ve had before. “Escape to a world all your own, where your problems float away,” the announcer says. “When you want to get away, but you don’t want to go anywhere: Hydra Soak.” Marvel: Agents of Shield fans will recall that Hydra Soak HAS been mentioned on the show. During the series’s Framework arc, Phil Coulson claims that Hydra is brainwashing people using soap, so he makes his own. Is the commercial another sign that Hydra is behind the mystery of WestView? Is it a warning that no one in the town will be able to get away? And what’s that about finding the goddess within?
The actors in this ad are the same ones as the previous ones, Victoria Blade and Ithamar Enriquez. Their recurring presence might mean they have some significance in Wanda’s life. Maybe they’re her parents?
In what feels like an ominous follow-up to the Hydra Soak commercial, the doctor reveals that he and his wife won’t be taking their trip away after all. “Small towns, you know, so hard to escape,” he mutters, pointedly. I think we’re starting to get the hint, folks! Wanda mentions she is a twin and that her brother was named Pietro. It’s been a hot minute since anyone has talked about MCU’s Quicksilver — he made his debut back in Age of Ultron, the same film in which he was shot and killed.
When Geraldine lets it slip that she knows about Pietro’s death at the hands of Ultron, Wanda interrogates her and discovers her necklace bears a familiar symbol — it’s that damn S.W.O.R.D. logo, and Wanda is apparently not a fan.
In another sign that something is UP, Agnes and Herb seem to warn Vision about Geraldine. They note that she’s “brand new” to town with no family and start to say that “she came here because we’re all —” before they’re cut off. It’s worth noting that the two figures that may be MCU versions of formidable Marvel characters are the ones who seem to understand that strange things are going on in WestView. If Agnes and Herb are the MCU’s Agatha Harkness and High Evolutionary, they would definitely be the ones in the know. But why would they try to warn Vision about Geraldine if WestView is a trap?
Agnes is wearing her infamous brooch as a necklace that could be referencing an MCU supervillain mentioned before. The necklace has three figures close together, with the center figure holding what looks like a giant scythe. Is it another clue that the Grim Reaper is on his way?
Wanda literally throws Geraldine out of town — though she tells Vision that she had to run home — and Geraldine passes through what seems like a magical forcefield. While fans have been assuming WestView is a fake town, this shows us that physically, it’s a very real place. But it’s currently bubbled off with a barrier that Wanda can apparently allow people in and out of. And the song that plays as Geraldine finds herself outside the barrier? “Daydream Believer” by The Monkees. It seems pretty appropriate for a situation that feels like a surreal dream.
When Geraldine lands on the outskirts of real WestView, she’s instantly swarmed by cars and agents all bearing the S.W.O.R.D. logo. Since we know Teyonah Parris is playing the adult Monica Rambeau, it’s safe to assume Geraldine was an alias she used to go undercover in WestView. Combined with the mystery agent watching the show within the show from episode one, we can conclude that Wanda and Vision are being closely observed by S.W.O.R.D. for some reason. But they clearly aren’t the ones in control, since Monica is so easily forced out. What will they do next?
While the opening credits of this episode are a reference to The Brady Bunch, it’s the end credits that give us another clue about the big bad coming our way. Just like the previous episodes, Wanda and Vision are framed in a hexagon as the end credits roll. The symbol is so important because it’s the preferred shape of the creators at Advanced Idea Mechanics, or AIM, who are last seen in Iron Man 3. Remember the beekeeper suits that resemble AIM agents’ clothing? It seems like the evil organization might be making a comeback.
WandaVision Episode 2 Easter Eggs
The opening credits for this episode aren’t just an adorable homage to Bewitched but a whole bevy of Marvel Easter eggs! The illustration of the moon happens to be surrounded by six stars, and we can’t help but be reminded of the Infinity Gauntlet.
When Vision phases through the floor, there’s a dark shape that looks exactly like the helmet worn by Marvel supervillain Grim Reaper hidden in the space. In the comics, he’s the brother of Wonder Man, whose brainwaves were used in Vision’s creation.
When Wanda goes to the supermarket in the opening, three references hang above the aisle! Bova Milk refers to Bova, the humanoid cow who raised Wanda and Pietro on Mount Wundagore. Auntie A’s kitty litter is a witchy reference to Auntie Agatha or Agatha Harkness, whom we’ve discussed before, and her cat-like familiar named Ebony. And Wonder Mints is most definitely a cheeky reference to Wonder Man, aka Simon Williams, the superhero who Vision’s brainwaves are based on in the comics!
When animated Wanda and Vision settle on their couch, the small figure on their side table is a statue of the Whizzer. Featured in 1982’s Vision and the Scarlet Witch, the Whizzer thought he was Wanda’s father but later discovers he was wrong. Whizzer and his wife were offered the chance to adopt Wanda and Pietro when they were kids on the mythical Mount Wundagore, but they declined.
When Wanda hears a crash outside the house, she heads out to the front, where she finds a colorful toy helicopter in an otherwise black-and-white world. Not only does the red-and-yellow helicopter have the number 57 stamped on it, but it also bears the S.W.O.R.D symbol! The number is likely in reference to Vision’s first appearance in Avengers #57, while the symbol hints to the presence of S.W.O.R.D outside Wanda’s perfect world.
The creepy, cult-like refrain spoken by the fundraiser organizers of it all being “for the children” seems to be a reference to Wanda’s involvement in the comic event The Children’s Crusade. The story follows her son, Billy, who’s trying to gain control over his reality-warping abilities by looking for a missing Wanda.
Well, here’s another blast from the angsty past! The Strücker timepiece is a very obvious callback to Hydra and Baron von Strücker. The watch bears the unmistakable octopus skull symbol of Hydra, and Strücker is the Hydra leader who recruited Pietro and Wanda for the experimentation that gave them powers. He was later killed by Ultron in his prison cell. Does anyone else hear that ticking noise? Remember good ol’ Herb? In the comics, a character named Herbert is also the High Evolutionary who runs Mount Wundagore, the very same safe haven where Bova delivered the Maximoff twins. Time will tell if the super-scientist is the same character, but it can’t be a coincidence.
Wanda and Vision’s magic show has two gems that we’ve noticed! First thing, the literal Mind Stone happens to be the design on the doors of the Cabinet of Mystery that plays a huge part in their act. Second, Wanda and Vision use the names Illusion and Glamour for their actor, which are also the names of the magicians that Vision goes to see in an issue of The Vision and the Scarlet Witch.
Though we all enjoy a good jam, The Beach Boys’ “Help Me, Rhonda” gets interrupted by someone asking, “Who’s doing this to you, Wanda?” And doesn’t that voice sound an awful lot like Randall Park’s Jimmy Woo?
While it may seem weird that Wanda shows her pregnancy in an instant, it’s in line with what goes on in the comics. Wanda uses magic to help her have children, which checks out since her husband is a synthezoid.
Oooh, that mysterious beekeeper! Not only does their presence lead to the reveal that Wanda has some control over the reality they’re in, but it also sets off some alarm bells. Even though the beekeeper’s suit bears the S.W.O.R.D logo on the back, the costume is reminiscent of the yellow costumes worn by A.I.M., a military science organization founded by Baron von Strücker. Could this be a sign that Wanda is being watched by more than one organization? And is this a hint that Hydra is back!? (Obviously, it is.)
WandaVision Episode 1 Easter Eggs
When Wanda accidentally smashes a plate into Vision’s head, he jokes about his wife and her “flying saucers,” and she comments back about his “indestructible head.” Considering that Vision died after having the Mind Stone ripped from his head, it’s a dark joke to kick off the series.
Vision’s work tie has a visual reference to his comic-book alter ego! In Tom King and Gabriel Hernandez Walta’s Vision, whenever the character dresses as a human, he wears a tie clip that emulates the diamond pattern on his chest.
Vision’s boss, Mr. Hart, is likely named after comic creator Steve Englehart, who created 1985’s The Vision and the Scarlet Witch with Richard Howell, a miniseries that heavily influenced WandaVision. It’s been heavily implied that Kathryn Hahn’s Agnes is the MCU’s Agatha Harkness, a witch who helped train Wanda’s magic back in the ’70s and ’80s.
When Wanda magically saves dinner, the bottle of wine she pours from is Maison du Mépris, which translates to house of contempt or scorn. As fans have pointed out since the trailer drop, this seems like a reference to the House of M comics storyline in which Wanda bends reality into a new world ruled by her family.
The Stark commercial break refers to two things: Avengers icon Tony Stark and his part in Wanda’s dark past. As Wanda and her twin brother, Pietro, explain in Avengers: Age of Ultron, their parents were killed by an explosive Stark Industries device, leaving the twins trapped under rubble. The Maximoffs were trapped by a Stark Industries shell for two days, expecting it to detonate before they get rescued. Even though Wanda eventually fights beside Tony in the future, there’s still some trauma from that experience and her brother’s death. If it weren’t for the Starks, Wanda could have been a completely different person.
The episode closes with a mysterious observer watching the “show” and taking notes on a pad with the logo of S.W.O.R.D. on the cover. For those who don’t know, S.W.O.R.D stands for Sentient World Observation and Response Department and is a subdivision of S.H.I.E.L.D. It’s a counterterrorism and intelligence agency that deals with extraterrestrial threats to world security. Expect to see them around more.

My theory for how WandaVision will play out and what it means for the MCU as a whole
***SPOILERS WILL BE UNDER THE CUT, READ AT YOUR OWN PERIL***
*sorry if this doesn’t make a lot of sense, my brain is bad at having linear thoughts*
So. Since Agnes has revealed herself to be Agatha Harkness, and she’s been pulling the strings all along, here’s where I think they’re going with this.
I don’t think Agatha is of the normal MCU universe. I think she’s from either the same universe as Evan Peters’ Quicksilver (which is why we didn’t get normal MCU Pietro, but got X-Men Peter instead). She knew enough to know they were siblings, but didn’t know Pietro so she couldn’t conjur him/pull him from his timeline before he died to bring him to Westview. So she got the closest thing. Another thought I have is that Peter isn’t Peter and is actually either Mephisto in disguise or Agatha’s son Nicholas.
I also assume, given the comic book storyline that is being followed here, that she’s working with Mephisto and possibly the Salem Seven as well.
If the Salem Seven are involved, I wouldn’t be surprised if Dottie turns out to be one of its members. I also think she could be Clea, the guardian (Sorcereress Supreme) of the dark universe where Dormammu lives. She could have been pulled there through the Nexus and became unwittingly apart of Wanda’s fantasy.
I think the twins are probably gone for good, since in the comics they were killed when Mephisto came back for the shards of his soul that were used to make them. Agatha was shown to be behind a lot of things in Westview so far, I wouldn’t be surprised if she was behind Wanda giving birth to the twins as well, just like in the comics.
I also think this is going to end with either Vision being totally taken out of the picture or we’ll find out for sure that the twins are gone and/or dead or both of those things, and Wanda will completely snap, causing the Multiverse to become unstable and thus setting up the events of Doctor Strange 2 and probably Spider Man 3 as well.
So, how does this set up Doctor Strange 2 and how might this connect to Loki? Wanda is canonically known as a Nexus Being in the comics. This means that she had the ability to affect probabilities and, by extension, the future. Nexus Beings are keystones of the Multiverse and can affect its stability. What I believe is happening here is that Agatha is exploiting Wanda’s powers to affect the multiverse as a whole and possibly trigger its collapse. I think this is going to set up the so-called “Multiverse of Madness” by either bringing together the Nexus Beings from around the Multiverse, which would destabilize everything and cause a lot of chaos, or by manipulating the other Nexus Beings through Wanda (since Nexus Beings can astral project throughout the multiverse) and causing chaos in each separate universe that Doctor Strange will have to fix by travelling to multiple universes to put things back to rights. It’s also possible, like I mentioned above, that Wanda will become too overwhelmed with grief by the end of this and totally lose control of her powers, causing the Multiverse to become unstable/on the verge of collapse.
What does this have to do with Loki? Well, the Nexus Beings are watched over by both cosmic entities, like Uatu the Watcher and Immortus, but also the Time Variance Authority, or TVA. If you’ve seen the Loki trailer, you may remember that the group that Loki is either working for/with or being held captive by is the TVA. I think it’s possible that something (probably Wanda) is going to cause the timeline to destabilize and Loki will be trying to set things right, but because he’s Loki he’ll probably either make it worse or try and exploit it for his own gain. Either way it seems like it’s gonna be a fun watch.
Another note about WandaVision. So Paul Bethany said there’s one more big cameo that no one has guessed yet and he was super excited to do it because it was someone that he really admires and hadn’t gotten to work with yet in the MCU.
I think it’s Samuel L Jackson/Nick Fury.
So, stay with me on this one. So, when SHIELD was SHIELD, it wasn’t just SHIELD, it was also HYDRA. What if SWORD isn’t just SWORD? Two agencies operating under the guise of one, both with very different directives. What if the SWORD we’ve seen so far is actually just HYDRA or some other evil organization masquerading as SWORD? I believe that Maria Rambeau founded SWORD as an agency to deal with space-based stuff, since she has first hand knowledge that aliens are out there and they aren’t all friendly. But what if somewhere along the way SWORD was infiltrated? I think Nick Fury has been Talos longer than we think, maybe not the whole time he’s been in the MCU, but for a while. I think Maria sent him on the mission with the Skrull that we see in the end of Far from Home. But since Maria died, and Hayward took over running SWORD, things have been headed in a similar direction as when Pierce was running SHIELD. The bad guys are in control and are manipulating things to suit their own ends. That’s why Hayward was trying to bring Vision back online when Wanda took him. He was probably planning on using Vision as a weapon. I think Fury is gonna make it back to Earth and with Monica’s help, is going to take down whoever has infiltrated SWORD. It’s possible that this could be setting up Secret Invasion as well. In the comics that refers to the Skrulls because they shape shift, but we also saw in Captain Marvel that the Kree come in both blue humanoid and flesh colored humanoid forms. What if the Kree are the secret invaders and are trying to take over Earth as revenge for the events of Captain Marvel? Hayward and other SWORD members could be Kree pretending to be humans, biding their time until a major attack/overthrow of humanity would be possible.
The setup to a Multiverse story is super fun to see, anyone who is also a fan of the CW’s Arrowverse knows that all too well. The chances for fan service moments and call backs to previous films and shows that are not generally considered part of that specific universe are numerous. We could see old Spider-Men! We could see both Fantastic Fours! You could, conceivably, have Chris Evans on screen as both Captain America and Human Torch, while also having Michael B Jordan as another Human Torch and Killmonger! Both timelines in the X Men universe could be represented! You can bring in the Defenders, the Agents of SHIELD, the Inhumans! Miles Morales and the various Spider People from the Spider-Verse! The possibilities are numerous once you start talking Multiverse. It basically just comes down to who is feeling up for a role reprisal.
I’m stoked to see where this ends up taking us. I can’t wait for the rest of Phase 4 and beyond!
