❍ "No clue what Materia are, huh? Great." In the absence of his Buster Sword, Cloud had been trying to explore alternative means of defending himself. Materia were necessary for spellcasting, but he had to find some first. He couldn't find a single vendor that sold them, and it didn't seem like this shop had them either.

What they did sell was... Well, he wasn't going to think about it too hard.

"Guessin' no one around here sells 'em then. That's a problem."
