Live the Christian Life by having a Walk Worthy of God's Calling in our Daily Living
As believers in Christ, we need to have a walk worthily of the calling with which we were called by God; according to Ephesians 4-5 there are four main items of a walk worthy of God’s calling, ending with being filled in spirit. Amen! The first item of a walk worthy of God’s calling is to be diligent to keep the oneness of the Spirit in the uniting bond of peace with the transformed human…

"Forgive Me Father"
[AN: no gif because none of them match the story... fyi, I'm not catholic so if something isn't correct about some parts, please let me know!]
[No cw. Read at your own risk because this took me a year to write...]
You groan as you have begun to feel uncomfortable in the suit that your mother has picked out for you for Sunday mass. “Hush now” Your mother says as you both enter the church, dipping your right hand in water and doing the cross sign before taking a bow at the altar and walking to your seats. The priest greets everyone at service and you greet him back. You lock eyes as he says his name. “My name is Father Miguel. I see we have some new faces here. Now let us welcome the choir” Everyone rises but you stay seated and your mother shoots you a look and you stand. Once the choir is finished singing everyone sits back down.
Father Miguel does the cross symbol and everyone reciprocates it before opening prayers begin. You find your eyes lingering on Father for too long and when he catches your eye your face grows hot and you look away quickly. Father Miguel greets the congregation again saying  “The Lord be with you.” He then introduces the Gospel reading while marking a small cross on his forehead, lips and heart with his thumb while praying silently that God cleans his mind and his heart so that his lips may worthily proclaim the Gospel. The congregation performs this ritual action along with the priest.
Father Miguel begins preaching and you find yourself intensively listening. Not to obtain the word but because you find his voice soothing (and dare you say attractive). They collect offerings and call everyone up for communion. Father prays over the bread and wine before everyone lines up and kneels before him one at a time. It’s your turn and you kneel before him. “The body of Christ” Father Miguel says, placing the cracker between your lips, thumb brushing against your bottom lip before handing you a cup of wine. “The blood of Christ” You swallow the wine and he intensively watches as your Adam's apple bobs up and down as you swallow.
Over the next 4 weeks you began to come to Sunday mass more often and your Mother was confused but never objected. One day after mass your mother invites a couple people back to the house for dinner and Father Miguel agrees to come over. You smile when you hear this and you rush home to shower and help your mother cook. Out of nowhere in the shower you thought about the first encounter with Father Miguel. You find yourself becoming aroused at the thought of his touch lingering on your chest. Then moving down to your abdomen. Then your hips. Lastly, moving painstakingly slow to your crotch area.
Your hand wraps around your cock, imagining it was his hand. You tease yourself, lightly brushing your thumb against the tip of your erection. You let out a shaky breath, imagining him behind you, whispering filthy things in your ear as he strokes you. As you begin to get impatient you begin stroking yourself, increasingly going faster, mind running wild with different scenarios. All including Father Miguel. As your orgasm approaches you find yourself breathing heavily, leaning against the wall for support as your orgasm begins washing over you. You have to bite your lip to stay as quiet as possible. You let out a soft shaky moan as you cum, shooting your seed onto the wall.
As you calm down from your high, your legs begin to shake. You slump down onto the bathroom floor, the water trickling down your body and the wall, washing away the mess on both the wall and you. You begin cursing yourself for thinking about such ungodly things being done onto you by a holy man.“y/n?! Hurry up, I need you to vacuum!” Your mother yells at you from the kitchen downstairs. You quickly wash up, scrubbing yourself clean of my impurities along with the mess you made on the wall. You get dressed, pulling on some gray sweatpants and a fitted wife beater to show off your body while not acting like a total slut. You put your socks on before walking downstairs to help your mother prepare for the guests.
You put your headphones on as you clean, listening to the song “Ick” when your part comes on you sing it when you look up to see Father Miguel standing here, face flushed. Your face grows hot when you realize he heard you singing the song. “I-I’m so sorry Father” You stammer out and he chuckles. “Please. Call me Miguel” You look down and he places his pointer finger under your chin, pulling your face up to meet his eyes. His words shot a chill down your spine, his voice sounded different. ”Ahh, but wouldn’t that be wrong…of me?” You ask nervously, almost melting at a simple touch of his finger.
“I don’t mind,” He says, voice sounding way different than it normally does during Sunday mass. “y/n?! Have you finished vacuuming?” Your mother asks. You swallow. “Y-yes Ma’am!”  “Come make Father a plate of food!” You remove your headphones, putting them away before leading Father Miguel to the kitchen. You ask him if he’s hungry and he shakes his head. “Maybe a little later” You nod, putting the plate away and telling your mother that you're going out for a drive. She nods, shooing you away as she talks to one of her friends from the church. You put your shoes on before Miguel stops you. “Do you mind if I join you?”
Your face grows hot and you shrug.”Great” He says, slipping his shoes back on, following you. You get into the driver's side of the car, waiting for Miguel to get in and he does. The two of you drive around and you find yourself stealing glances at the priest. Your mind then wanders to earlier that evening in the shower and you blush before pulling over. “Father? I have a confession to make” Miguel looks at you surprised. “You do realize that-” You cut him off. “Please. Just…” Miguel quiets down and you take that as an opportunity to speak, looking straight ahead and you do the same. “I’ve… I’ve been having lustful thoughts…About someone of the same sex. And the thoughts are recurring. What do I do to make them stop?”
“Come see me tomorrow at the church and we can go from there. Alright?” You nod and your phone rings, you answer and your mother tells you to return so you can eat and you quickly turn around, driving back home.
The next day you find yourself walking into the church where Miguel is seemingly waiting for you. “Come with me to my office so we can further discuss how to help” You trail behind him, heart pounding in your chest. He opens the door, stepping into the side to allow you to enter. He quickly follows behind you before saying “Now who exactly are these thoughts about?” Your face grows hot and you look down at your hands, fidgeting. Migeul notices and places his hand on your chin, pulling your head up. “Don’t be shy. You can tell me” You let out a shaky breath. “Y-you” Miguel tilted his head to the side.
“What was that? I didn’t hear you” Your face grows hotter than before “Y-you!” Miguel clears his throat, hand dropping to his side. “W-what exactly have you been thinking about?” Your head drops low again and he snaps, bringing your head back up. “U-um. You pleasing me and vice versa” “Sit on the desk” You obediently sit on the desk and he sits next to you. “How do you want to go about this?” You swallow. “I want nothing more than to fulfill this fantasy but-” “Then come on” You furrow your eyebrows together. “W-what are you-” “Come on. Undress” You swallow. “B-but-” Miguel removes his Roman collar.
“Hurry” He does a little prayer “Forgive me Father” He says as he does the holy trinity. He opens his eyes and he sees you are fully dressed. “Do you not want to fulfill these fantasies of yours?” You stay quiet and he swallows. “If you do not want to, I will not force you to. But it is wrong of me to admit that I’ve been having the same thoughts about you” Your eyes grow wide. “But what will the church think about-” Miguel pulls you in for a kiss and he says “I’m not worried about the church right now. If you really don’t want to, I won’t make you. I want to make that clear right now” Your head drops low. “I want to feel your lips around my-” “I can’t do that with your pants still on. And it’s clear your cock wants to be pleased so hurry”
You quickly discard your pants along with your boxers, revealing your erection. “So you really do want this to happen?” You nod and he sits you back on the desk, spreading your legs and getting on his knees. Miguel lets his hand wrap around your cock, squeezing the base lightly. This causes a slight moan to slip from your lips. He smiles before sticking out his tongue, dragging his tongue from the top of his hand, all the way up your shaft and taking the head into his mouth. He tastes your pre-cum which causes a small groan from him. “Fuck you taste so good. I almost forgot what this tastes like” Your hips buck up and he smiles.
“So eager to be pleased” Miguel then completely takes you into his mouth, hollowing his cheeks. You straighten your posture, sucking in a deep breath before a shaky exhale. “F-fuck thank you Father” Miguel smiles before saying “You’re welcome my child” His head continues bobbing up and down, lustful nosies bouncing off the supposed holy walls of room, spit slipping from Father’s mouth as he picks up his pace, watching your face contort in pleasure. Your hand makes its way to Miguel’s head, pulling his brown and gray streaks of hair, helping him please you. You’ve never felt this good before.
You’ve masturbated in the past but this was nothing compared to that. You groan softly, head falling back as your legs shake. “F-father!~ I’m gonna c-cum” This makes Miguel quicken his pace, looking up at you. You buck your hips up, holding his head as close to your crotch as possible, making him gag. You have to bite your bottom lip in order to keep quiet as you shoot your load down his throat. You whimper softly as you ride your orgasm out. Father Miguel pulls himself off of your cock, immediately pulling you into a kiss. “God you taste so good” With heavy breath you say “F-father I want you to fuck me”
He swallows before saying “Are you sure? W-we don’t have to just me doing-” You pull him in for a second kiss before saying “I want you to fuck me. Please Father?” Miguel begins undoing his pants when you stop him, doing it for him which makes him even more turned on.  “Over the desk. Now” You scramble up, bending yourself over his desk, slightly wiggling your ass. Father raises his hand, a harsh smack to your ass causing your back to arch. “You should be ashamed. Having such sinful thoughts about a disciple of Christ” He says, another smack to your bottom. You groan as the pain makes your cock twitch.
Miguel notices this and chuckles before pulling your head up and spitting in your mouth, watching some of the spit miss your mouth and roll down your cheek and neck. “Fuck y/n” Miguel says, his tip poking at your ass. He spits in his hands, stroking himself before deciding that ultimately that wasn’t enough lube. He grabs some ‘holy oil’ from his drawer and pours some on your hole before adding some to his hand and stroking himself again. “May God have mercy on you” “F-father I have another confession” Miguel pauses. “Yes, my child?” You swallow. “I-I’m a virgin” He tilts his head to the side.
This causes him to break character. “Y-you want me to be your first?” You nod and he blushes before saying “I’ll start off gentle. No promises it’ll stay that way but if it becomes too much please promise me that you’ll tell me” You smile. “I promise” He smiles. “Okay” He slowly slips the first half of his cock inside of you and you whimper. “I know, baby. Just a little more and I’ll be finished with entering you” Tears slip from your eyes. This man, stretching your tight virgin hole and he’s not even full inside of you. He decided to just fully bottom out inside of you and you yell out, causing him to cover your mouth as the church’s weekly prayer session has begun and people are praying.
Your tears soak his hand and this worries him. “Do you want me to stop?” You shake your head before taking two of his fingers in your mouth. He smirks as he softly begins snapping his hips back and forth trying to be gentle with you but you push back against him. “Fuck your so tight Mi amor” Miguel growls, the spanish nickname running shivers dow your spine. Miguel pauses, before pulling out of you. You whine before saying “Father?” Miguel picks you up and you wrap your legs around his waist. He presses your back against the shared wall of his office and the pulpit where some of the church community are, praying while their priest fucks another member into the wall.
Miguel slowly slides himself into you, watching your eyes widen. You open your mouth to let out a moan and he pulls you in for a kiss, to silence your sounds. Miguel breaks the kiss momentarily before saying “You have to stay quiet right now. I love your sinful sounds so much but you need to stay quiet for me. Can you do that?” You nod and say “Y-yeah. I can do that for you Father” Miguel smirks before fully pushing himself inside of you. “Good boy” His hot breath against your neck sends a shiver down your spine while his cock sends a wave of pleasure through your body. Your nails dig into his shoulders, trying to keep yourself from making too much noise as he fucks into you.
Miguel groans against your neck as he feels you tightening around him. “You keep clenching around me like that and I’ll cum” “I want it inside. I want you to cum inside of me” You say, breathless as yuo feel another orgasm building up. But it feels different than any orgasm. Miguel groans, picking up his pace, fucking into you so relentlessly that the decently sized cross that hung on the wall began knocking against the wall. Your eyes water and you whisper “F-father ‘m gonna cum again” You say, as the tip of his cock began hitting your sweet spot and making you see stars. “I’m not gonna fill you up unitl you cum for me again. Do you understand?”
You nod your head, not being able to form a comprehensible sentence but wanting to cum again. You whimper, rocking your hips and trying to get Miguel to move faster. “Cum for me y/n” Miguel says and the coil in your stomacth began to loosen, Migel pulls you in for a kiss and you oudly moan into the kiss, hoping the walls were thick enough as to muffle the moans a bit more than Miguel’s lips had. Miguel groans, his cock twitching inside of you as he fills your hole to the brim with his cum. The two of you lean against the wall, Breathing hard and fast. Miguel begins to pull out of you, carefully as to keep the mess to a minimum.
“Here. Get dressed and I’ll bring you my house to rest as soon as the prayer session is over.” You nod, pulling your clothes back on and Father Miguel sits you in his chair, pulling his sweater the hung on  coat rack over you. “Get some rest my Dear” He says and that was the last thing you heard as you drifted off to sleep”

You never liked going to church. Not on Fridays or Sundays. But it wasn’t because of the church that you didn’t like to go. It’s not the people that were bent in the pews, quietly whispering their prayers to their God. It wasn’t because of the stupid modest clothes you had to wear due to the strict scriptures you were suppose to follow.
No.
Not any of that.
The main reason why you didn’t like going to church…was because of Him.
That priest.
You sat quietly in the pews, your fingers tracing over the words of the picked scripture for today’s mass. You shifted in your seat, pulling down your skirt before your eyes glanced up to him.
There he was, standing at the altar as his hands were clasped together for a prayer.
Father Eren Yeager.
No one really knew how he joined the church. How he became the Father of this holy place. Everyone was curious to know, except you.
You had your own curiosities. You had a feeling that there was something in between you two. But you couldn’t put your finger on it.
Was it God? Was it taboo? Sin?
When he would talk about sin, his emerald green eyes were pinned to you, as if he knew about your sins. Anytime you meet his gaze, you sit up straighter, your hands on your knees while he continues to speak before moving his gaze back to his scripture.
What’s funny is that…you are a sinner.
After mass, you had the burning urge to go up to him and talk. Talk about what? The service? How good was it?
No.
You wanted to go and confess your sins to him. Sit in that confession box and tell him everything. You were so close the last few times to do it, but you left shortly after Mass. Your confidence deflated the minute he finished his prayer, and you were out the double doors.
You always had that voice in your head when you were walking back to your home.
“You want to be clean, don’t you?”
Was it even your voice?
Or Father’s?
Your mind snapped back to church as you noticed everyone standing up for prayer. You got up to your feet, bowing your head and clasping your hands together.
“Remember, Lord, your creature,
whom you redeemed by your Blood.
I am repentant of my sins,
I desire to put right what I have done.”
You clench your jaw, your heart racing as you glance up. Your heart froze as his gaze met with yours.
“Take from me, therefore, most merciful Father,
all my iniquities and sins,
so that, purified in mind and body,
I may worthily taste the Holy of Holies.”
Fuck. You swallow nervously, his gaze never leaving yours before he looks down and closes his eyes.
“May the almighty and merciful Lord
grant us joy with peace,
amendment of life,
room for true repentance,
the grace and consolation of the Holy Spirit
and perseverance in good works.
Amen.”
You could feel your heart race again before your legs finally bent and you sat back down. Why were you getting all hot and bothered? It wasn’t because he was looking at you, right?
Your fingers fumbled to touch the rosary around your neck, gripping at the cross as Father Eren started to talk about announcements and events that were happening at the church.
Your eyes fell down to the bible.
You need to tell him today. You couldn’t focus at church, not while he’s talking. Your mind would wander back to when you were alone in your room, one hand touching yourself and the other covering your mouth. No matter how muffled and how quiet you were, you would still moan out his name.
Eren.
Father Eren.
Over and over again.
You knew that it was wrong, but you continued like the filthy sinner you were. You want to be pure in the eyes of Father Eren. You would do anything.
You were going to do it. Today.
“And that’s all for announcements. Please, have a lovely afternoon today. May peace be with you all.” Father Eren said as he closed his bible and nodded at the congregation to be dismissed.
He stood at the altar, shifting his notes and bible as everyone started to file out and leave. You closed the bible and set it on the pew. You slowly rose to your feet and shifted out from the pew.
Some of the men met with Father and spoke briefly. Firm handshakes and soft chuckles echoed in the church, along with whispered conversations. You carefully moved out of people’s way as you made your way towards the altar.
Was Father Eren always this friendly? His long black hair was pulled into a loose bun, strands of his hair framing his face while his emerald gaze was gentle, yet firm as he spoke with the members of the church. He wore the green chasubles, along with a brown rosary around his neck and his hands occupied with the bible.
“I see that the Lord has kept you well, Father.” You say as your feet meet at the altar. Father Eren turned to look at you, a light smile pulling at his lips, “And same with you, YN. How was the service?” He asked.
“It was wonderful as always. I wanted to speak with you privately, if you have the time.” You say.
Father Eren nodded quietly, “Absolutely. Please, if you could wait here at the very front pew while I go and change, I’ll be with you shortly.”
You nodded, walking over to the front pew and taking a seat. You watched as he disappeared behind one of the doors on the left side of the altar. You left out a shaky breath and looked around. You were alone.
This was it. You were going to confess your sins to him. No more hiding. No more running away. This was it.
“My apologies if you had to wait so long,” Father Eren said as he walked out of the door, closing it behind him, “getting out of these large uniforms has its difficulties.”
He was wearing the common black clergy uniform with the collar, the brown rosary now around his hands as he approached you. “What did you want to speak about?” He asked.
You rose to your feet, your heart beating out of your chest. “I wanted to confess my sins. I wanted to speak with you privately about it, because it is a bit longer than a short session.”
He raised an eyebrow, “Is that so?” He glanced at the confession box before coming back to you, “We can today, right now if you’d like. I do have time.”
“Really? Oh, thank you Father. I’ve been meaning to do this for such a long time, but I always would leave and hide.” You say embarrassed, “but I don’t want to run away anymore.”
Father Eren stared at you for a moment before reaching over to cup your cheek gently, turning your head so you were looking up at him. “As it says in the bible, YN, If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness,” His thumb grazed over your lower lip, “you should never run away and hide from your shame. It takes a strong person to come clean and be pure once again.”
You nearly melted as he pulled his hand away and readjusted his collar. He had no idea what he was in for. “So, shall we?” He says, motioning his head towards the box.
———————
Father Eren opened the wooden door as you stepped inside. You quietly sat as he closed the door and made his way to his side, taking a seat.
You grew sweaty. You were afraid, but you knew you had to take the chance to talk to him. Confess.
“You may begin when you want to, YN.” Father Eren says.
You made a sign of the cross over your chest before drawing in a shaky breath. “Bless me, Father, for I have sinned. This is my first confession.” You say softly.
You grit your teeth, your hands gripping the hem of your skirt.
“Take your time, YN. No need to rush.” Father Eren says.
Your cheeks grow warm as you shamelessly start to remember.
“I…I am nothing but a pervert,” You clear your throat, “every Sunday I have impure thoughts of Father Eren. I…I cannot say-!”
“Go on.”
His voice grew husky, tone dripping in honey. You couldn’t hear him, but his breathing picked up just a bit.
“I…F-Father Eren, it's embarrassing to say.”
“Do you want to be free of your shameful sins? Confess.”
You swallow your spit before glancing down at your feet. “I…I touch myself to lustful thoughts of Father Eren. During his sermons, I would think about how his lips would feel on mine, how his hands would wrap around my body. I would dream of the times of when we would have sex. When he would look at me, my body burns with passion and desire. In between my legs, I..I am always aching and wet with need. I am constantly turned on with him looking at me, and I can’t get this urge out of my head.”
Your body was hot, your thighs closing together tightly as heat pooled in between your legs. You can’t think about this now. This was so wildly inappropriate.
“Is that all?”
Your lips trembled before you nodded quietly, “I-I’m sorry for these and all of my sins.”
Silence. It grew, along with tension as you stared at the small window. “Father Eren?” You ask, still wondering if he was still there.
Silence.
Your hands shot up to cover your face. You knew doing this was going to end up awkward. God, you couldn’t face him again. You just told him everything.
Suddenly, the door was ripped open as Father Eren stared down at you. His eyes were cold, body tense as his nostrils flared angrily.
Did you really upset him?
You grew fearful before his lips parted to speak. “Your sins are forgiven by our Lord. However, I am offering you a penance. A penance that’ll purge your sins completely. Please, meet me at my office.” He said in that same husky tone.
Penance? What?
You nod, getting to your feet as you walk out of the confessional. He followed behind you as you made your way down the side of the pews and towards the door.
You could feel his eyes on you. Your mind wandered as you pushed open the door. What the hell was he going to do? Yell at you? Scold you and do fifty Hail Marys in front of him?
You stood in his office, eyes pinned to his desk as Father Eren closed the door behind you, quietly locking it.
Silence filled the room as he passed you, moving to the back of his desk. He set his rosary beads on top of some paperwork. His hands rested on top of his office chair, while his eyes were looking at you.
“How long were you having these thoughts, YN?” He asked.
You couldn’t meet his gaze.
“Look at me.” He commanded.
Your eyes shot to him. “For a while now.” You whisper.
“Show me.”
Your eyes widened. “What?” You ask.
“Show me your pussy. I want to see that aching need of yours.” He hissed, now walking around to the front of the desk, sitting at the edge of it. His arms were crossed while he stared you down.
Your face flushed before you slowly reached your hands down to the edge of your skirt and pulled it up.
You shuddered as you felt the cool air on your exposed inner thighs. Your body burned with shame as you looked away. Eren scoffed as he pushed himself off of the desk and walked over to you.
“How quaint. Even your flesh lies. You confess your sins, and yet,” He let out a harsh chuckle, eyes burning down your body while one hand reached down to touch your clothed core, “here you are, wet and aching with need.”
You gasp, freezing as you look down to see his hand in between your legs.
“You think you deserve this? Deserve my attention? My touch?” He asks, his lips pressing up your ear, “do you want my solution to your aching problem?”
You didn’t answer right away.
Father Eren didn’t like that.
He moved his hand away from your panties and grabbed your arm. He dragged you with him towards the large standing mirror he had next to his closet.
Angrily, he yanked up your blouse, exposing your breasts and hiding your rosary. You didn’t have the heart to look at yourself in the mirror, shame burning your cheeks before his other hand pulled down your panties. Your panties pooled around your feet before you stepped out of them.
There you were: an exposed sinner in the holy hands of Father Eren.
His gaze was intimidating as he stared down your body once more. “Look at you, YN. Look at yourself.” He commanded.
Your eyes stared at your reflection. One hand gripped at your breast, your nipple hard as his thumb and index fingertip rubbed slowly while the other hand traveled down to graze over your outer lips.
Your body sags against his, little whines and whimpers escaping your lips. “See? Even me touching you, confessing your sins isn’t enough. You’re still impure.” He hissed, his lips pressed against your neck as he nibbled on your flesh.
You gasp, his tongue running over your skin as he makes a small mark on your skin. Your eyes shoot to him in the mirror, “What did you do to me?” You ask, panting.
“Marking an impure woman. Just to make sure that everyone can see that to avoid you.” He replies. His hands continue to fondle you, while he still stares at you.
“You will listen to my words,” He began as his hands started to pull away, fixing your clothes, “I have one solution to get rid of these impure desires, YN. But once I do this, I never want to see you again. Not in my church. Understood?”
You frowned, nodding slowly.
“Good.”
It hurt to hear those words. But you didn’t want to cause any problems with Father Eren. Besides, he was doing this to keep you pure. That’s all that mattered, right?
You watch as he moves from the mirror and starts to stack the two chairs. He set them towards the wall, now a large space on the floor.
He crouched down at first before laying flat on the floor. He motioned with his two fingers. “Come to me, YN.” He said.
You obeyed his words, quietly walking to him before you were now standing in front of him.
“Lift your skirt for me.”
You bit your lower lip before your hands slowly reached down to lift your skirt, exposing your wet cunt once more.
“Sit on me.”
Your chest rose and fell. “Father Eren. Are you sure…that it’s okay?” You ask, your eyes glossing over with that familiar lust.
“I will drink away all of your sin. If you want to be pure again, you will allow me to do this. You want to be clean, don’t you?” He raised an eyebrow curiously.
“Yes, Father.”
“Good. Now sit.”
You moved yourself so you were directly above his face. You hesitated for a moment before you saw his eyes flash with a warning.
You sunk to your knees, your pussy directly on his face. Both of his hands shot up to hold your hips.
His lips parted as his tongue snuck out to lick at your outer pussy lips. You trembled as he held you still while his mouth worked on you. Your mouth was opened with soft gasps, a small bead of sweat forming on the side of your face.
Little muffled pleased hums escaped him as his eyes closed. You noticed how gentle he was. And yet, he was slowly unwrapping you, lick by lick.
His tongue spread your lips before moving up towards your peeking clit.
You let out a soft moan before his mouth pulled away immediately, “Close your mouth. You’re still in church.” He warned before he went back to assaulting your clit.
Your hand shot to cover your mouth, eyes rolling back as his mouth was fully enveloped on your cunt. He continued to move his mouth, drinking your sweet nectar.
Your muffled moans only made him go faster. But you needed more. Friction.
He grunted as you started to move your hips shallowly against his face. He moved to suck on your clit ruthlessly, eyes pinned as your head rolled back. Lewd, wet sucking noises filled your ears, making your tummy burn.
You were going to cum.
You wanted to stop, that guilt suddenly weighing back before your eyes fell to Father Eren. His tongue laid flat right on your leaking pussy before he started to move his head back and forth quickly.
The feeling of his tongue was too much. He knew what he was doing.
“Do it…give me everything…break for me.” Father Eren said in between his licks.
Your body shook and spasmed as you came. The guilt disappeared as he drank, his eyes closed tightly. His forehead glistened with sweat, his face burned pink.
He slowly pulled his mouth away, the tip of tongue sticking with a long string of mixed fluids before he lapped it up. He moved his hands to grip yours as you got to your feet.
Your chest rose and fell, instinctively taking a few steps back as Father Eren got to his feet. He readjusted his rosary, fixing up his hair before he walked over to the mirror. He cleared his throat before he rolled up his sleeves.
Your mouth dropped to see that his arms were covered in different tattoos. He glanced down to see your panties as he leaned over to pluck them from the floor.
“Father Eren, what are those? How long have you been hiding them?” You ask, alarmed at the sight.
“That is none of your concern. Now leave.” Father Eren said coldly, looking over at your panties before his fingers rubbed over your middle stripe, scoffing as it was still wet.
“But the Church will find out if-!”
“The Church won’t find out about me. And if you say a word, how would you feel if the entire congregation knew about what we just did? No one would believe a single word,” His gaze fell to you, “would they believe that the priest would actually do such lewd acts with a whore?” He took a step to you, “a whore who confessed such lusts about me?”
He backed you up against the door, your eyes pricked with tears. His fingers found the lock to the door and quietly unlocked it.
“I already said what you need to do,” he leaned against your ear, “now get the hell out of my church.”
You shoved him off of you and stormed out of his office. Your face burned with humiliation as you wiped tears from your eyes.
Father Eren stared as you left before he closed the door. His hand that held your panties moved to his nose. He inhaled the thick, sweet scent as his other hand moved to grab and rub his stiff cock hidden in his black clergy uniform.
“Father forgive me for my sins,” Father Eren whispers, his eyes glancing at his own reflection in the mirror, “for I have only just begun them.”

A Worthy Walk

VERSE OF THE DAY

+ Colossians 1:10 to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; “
‭‭=========================
** SAY THIS BEFORE YOU READ; HERE’S SOME CHRISTIAN TRUTHS **
I AM WALKING IN A WORTHY WAY
I AM BEARING GOOD FRUITS
I AM REPRESENTING GOD
I AM APPLYING THE WORD
********************************
THOUGHTS:
=======================
I recently went somewhere, and as I was traveling, I saw this lake and found where the road turned off to get to the lake. I got my camera, and I got out of the car. As I walked up to the lake, it was the most beautiful lake I had ever seen. It was cold, but the sun was in the right place, and ducks were swimming.
It was just me, and as I sat there, I told God to thank you for everything you have done for me; I thank you for the air I have, and I thank you for being God alone because sometimes we take moments like this for granted and I got my GoPro out and snap some pictures it was beautiful I'm going to try to add it as a clip to the devotional on the website. Still, as I  sat down, I saw this ripple in the water. I saw my reflection and smiled because I had only seen this in the movies, and it was simply the best moment.
I heard the Holy Spirit say to me that the reflection that everyone sees should be me in you, nothing else, nothing more, nothing tainted at all, and it made me think, am I  carrying Christ the way I  should? Am I doing everything I can to represent Christ in my life?
When we go to our jobs and stores, are we reflecting the right image of what Christ is supposed to be? What's happening is a lot of nonbelievers dont want to have anything to do with Christ because they see the representatives, they see us, and they wonder if this person is supposed to be of Christ. Why are they this way? I dont want anything to do with that if that's what Christ is. So my question stands: Are you representing Christ in the right way?
“Ephesians 4:1-3 I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."
This is precisely what the Holy Spirit is saying , Are you walking worthily, do you have humility, gentleness, and patience,? Are you showing love for one another? Do you have peace with all man, so when we are out on the road, are we holding peace with all man, when we are at work are we holding peace with all man, when we are behind someone at the grocery store are we gentle?
We must ask ourselves these questions because if we aren't, we need to ask God to change these things. We must be willing to let go and allow him to change us because how can we represent him if we aren't kind, if we aren't nice, if we aren’t full of humidity, and if we are rough? We have to be people who always represent God.
God doesn't want us to pretend like we care about people or that we love people. He wants us to love people as we love ourselves; many people don't love themselves, but we must learn that we are made in the image of God, and we are beautifully and wonderfully made. When we say we dont like something about ourselves, we are telling God we dont like how he made us; we never want to make God feel that he didn't do a good enough job. We never want to make God feel we aren't happy with who we are because when we do this, we are saying that what he did wasn't great and that everything God does and has done is amazing. Everything he has ever done is beautiful, whether it’s humans or the creation of the earth.
Colossians 3:17 And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Whatever we do, whatever someone asks us to do, we have to do it in Jesus' name; now our friends and family can say, I'm doing this, or I'm doing that, and they can give only half of themselves to God but whatever God gives us strength to do, we must obey him , we have to stop looking at what others do and look at ourselves we have to stop looking at our family and know and understand that God is watching us and that whenever we do something 1/2 that's not doing it in the name of Jesus that's doing it in your way.
To walk in the authority of the highest we must do our best in every situation, yes some situations are challenging I can admit that. Still, if we are going to carry the anointing of God, if we are going to walk in our calling, we must do it in a worthy way and not in a shameful way. We can't expect to save a soul if our heart is only halfway there.
***Today, God has made us in his image, and every day, we have the opportunity to display our love for him and Christ through our actions. Many of us have this idea that all we have to do is become a Christian, and I made it, but we need to have more than just the title. We need to have his word hidden in our hearts and ensure that we are bearing the fruits of the spirit. The Bible tells us this: “ to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; “
We must walk worthily. Are we doing that? Are we bearing the right fruit in every good work? We must always do this wherever we go. Man might not know our walk with God, but God knows who we are. We must always please him in everything. ©Seer~ Prophetess Lee

PRAYER
========================
Heavenly Father, we thank you for everything; we thank you for what is excellent and unique; we thank you for allowing us to dwell in your presence, and we ask you to forgive us of the sins we did. Lord, continue to work in us and show us how to be your best representatives. Lord , we are sorry for not bearing good fruit; Lord, we ask you today to help us walk in a manner worthy of you. Lord, give us peace in our lives and victory over our situations, in Jesus' Name, Amen.

WALKING WITH DIVINE PURPOSE
It is imperative that we all take a strong stand. We must make up our minds to not continue to stumble about in the confusion that seems to gridlock today's culture. Rather, we must walk in our Christ identity with God-given goals and aims and discerning His divine PURPOSE for our life.
We're not to be vague, thoughtless, and distracted during these days. We can and must discover great guidance and guidelines for living day by day, advancing in the knowledge of His CALLING on our life, possessing the wisdom that God is offering to us to bear fruit that remains for His Kingdom.
Paul, in Ephesians 5:15-17, offers the Church a most severe warning: "Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise (sensible, intelligent people), making the very most of the time [buying up each opportunity], because the days are evil. Therefore do not be vague and thoughtless and foolish, but understanding and firmly grasping what the will of the Lord is" (AMP).

The Preeminence of Christ
1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, 2 to the saints and faithful brothers in Christ in Colossae: Grace to you and peace from God our Father.
We Thank God For Your Faith And Love
3 We are giving-thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, always while praying for you, 4 having heard-of your faith in Christ Jesus and the love which you have for all the saints 5 because of the hope being reserved for you in the heavens, which you previously-heard-of in the word of the truth— the good-news 6 coming to you, just as also in all the world it is bearing-fruit and growing, just as it is doing also in you from which day you heard and understood the grace of God in truth, 7 just as you learned it from Epaphras, our beloved fellow-slave who is a faithful servant of Christ on your behalf, 8 the one also having made-clear to us your love in the Spirit
May You Walk Worthily of God, Who Transferred Us Into The Kingdom of His Son
9 For this reason we also, from which day we heard, do not cease praying for you and asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 so that you may walk worthily of the Lord, toward total pleasing [of Him]— bearing-fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God; 11 being empowered with all power according-to the might of  His glory, toward total endurance and patience; with joy 12 giving-thanks to the Father having qualified you for your part of the share of  the saints in the light, 13 Who delivered us out of the authority of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in Whom we have the redemption, the forgiveness of sins—
The Son Is The Preeminent Head of All Creation, Because He Created All Things
15 ... Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation, 16 because all things were created by Him in the heavens and on the earth, the visible things and the invisible things— whether thrones or lordships or rulers or authorities. All things have been created through Him and for Him. 17 And He Himself is before all things, and all things have existence in Him. 18 And He Himself is the head of the body, the church.
The Son Is First In Everything, Because God Reconciled All Things Through Him
... Who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, in order that He Himself might come-to-be holding-first-place in all things, 19 because the Father was well-pleased that all the fullness should dwell in Him 20 and that He should reconcile all things through Him to Himself, having made-peace through the blood of His cross— through Him, whether the things on the earth or the things in the heavens.
Indeed, You Yourselves Were Reconciled By Him
21 Indeed you were formerly being excluded, and were enemies in the mind in-connection-with evil works. 22 But now He reconciled you in the body of His flesh through His death, that He might present you holy and without-blemish and blameless in His presence— 23 if indeed you continue in the faith, having been founded, and steadfast, and not being moved-away from the hope of the good-news which you heard, the one having been proclaimed in all creation under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.
I Am Suffering To Fulfill My Stewardship of God’s Now Revealed Mystery: Christ In You.
24 Now I am rejoicing in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I am filling-up-in-turn[am] the things lacking from the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church, 25 of which I became a minister according-to the stewardship of God having been given to me for you, that I might fulfill the word of God— 26 the mystery having been hidden from the past ages and from the past generations. But now it was revealed to His saints, 27 to whom God willed to make-known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles— which is Christ in you, the hope of glory, 28 Whom we are proclaiming, admonishing every person, and teaching every person with all wisdom, in order that we may present every person mature in Christ, 29 for which I also am laboring, struggling according to His working being at-work in me with power. — Colossians 1 | Disciples’ Literal New Testament (DLNT) Disciples' Literal New Testament: Serving Modern Disciples by More Fully Reflecting the Writing Style of the Ancient Disciples, Copyright © 2011 Michael J. Let us pray to the Father, the source of all holiness, and ask Him to lead us to holiness of life through the example and intercession of His saints. May we be holy as You are holy. Holy Father, You want us to be called Your sons and truly to be such, —grant that Your holy Church may proclaim You throughout the world. May we be...
Holy Father, You want us to walk worthily and please You in all we do, —let us abound in doing good works. May we be...
Holy Father, You have reconciled us to Yourself through Christ; —preserve us in Your Name so that all may be one. May we be...
Holy Father, You have called us to a heavenly banquet, —through the bread that came down from heaven, make us worthy to grow in perfect love. We ask this especially for those who will be first communicants this year. May we be...
Holy Father, forgive the offenses of every sinner, —let the dead perceive the light of your countenance. We ask this especially of Father P. Wood, who died three years ago today, and Mohandas Gandhi, who was killed seventy-five years ago today. May we be...
Our Father...
Let Us Pray: O God, who raised up the Priest Saint John Bosco as a father and teacher of the young, grant, we pray, that, aflame with the same fire of love, we may seek out souls and serve You alone. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

SPEAKING IN TONGUES HELPS FORFEND DANGER
📖━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries (1 Corinthians 14:2).
Pastor Chris Says
━━━━━━━━━━
Speaking in tongues is very important to every child of God. Make it a conscious habit to speak in tongues every day. That’s where the power is. Once, a gang of ruthless kidnappers accosted a young girl and dragged her away. As they did, she spoke vigorously in tongues. They threatened to kill her, but she continued speaking in tongues. The more she spoke in tongues, the bolder she got. To her utter amazement, not long afterwards, the ten armed men suddenly threw away their weapons and fled. They ran away from one unarmed young girl. Why?
The Bible says “...he that speaketh in an unknown tongue, speaketh not unto men but unto God....” God only knows what those criminals saw or heard that made them scamper off in terror. Don’t take speaking in tongues lightly. Before you go out of your house every day, speak in tongues.
A truck driver was speeding down the road when, suddenly, his brakes failed, and his truck started hurtling dangerously towards a young guy. A fatal accident seemed inevitable, and the driver closed his eyes, expecting the worst to happen. When the vehicle ground to a halt, he opened his eyes, only to discover the young guy was still standing, unscathed and unruffled.
Quickly, he alighted from his truck and said, “Young man, I thought I hit you.” The young man said, “No, you didn’t; as you came close, the power of God picked me up in the air. When your truck sped past, the power of God brought me back down.”
Then the young man narrated how before he came out that day, he had been speaking in tongues until his whole body was saturated with the power of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, when danger came, the power of God lifted him over and above the hazard.
The blessings and benefits of speaking in tongues are much more than you can imagine. The utterance may sound foolish or unintelligible to you or anyone listening to you, but that’s where the power is. Glory to God! Even now, lift your hands and speak in tongues about your life, your ministry, your family, your job, your finances, your academics, and your health.
          🙏 P R A Y E R
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Dear Father, as I speak in tongues today, I align myself with your perfect will; my life is transformed and I’m empowered by the Holy Spirit, walking in victory in every area of my life. Thank you Lord, for the supernatural protection and safety, transcendent blessings and benefits of speaking in tongues, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
        📖 FURTHER STUDY :
  ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
1 Corinthians 14:2; For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
Jude 1:20 AMPC; But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit;
Romans 8:26-27 AMPC; So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance.
[27]  And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God's will.

John 15:6 Jesus said, “If you do not remain in Me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.”
1 Corinthians 1:18 The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
Mark 8:29 "But what about you?" He asked. "Who do you say I am?"
1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;
Psalm 116:1-2 I love the Lord, because He hath heard my voice and my supplications. 2 Because He hath inclined His ear unto me, therefore will I call upon Him as long as I live.
May your heart not be led by your eyes, lest your hands be defiled in their work and your steps be turned from the path God has set, but may you stay faithfully following the way of God's love. Job 31
May the fear of God's splendor lead you in the way of God's compassion to offer unjudging grace and mercy to those around you, restraining and rejecting the carnal nature and bringing every thought into captivity. Job 31
May the fear of the crowd's contempt not allow you to remain silent or cause you to remain inside, but may you walk in the freedom and authority of one in the service of the Most High, worthily bearing the name and seal of the One Who has sent you and to Whom you give willing and total allegiance. Job 31
May you proclaim the righteousness of God to others instead of justifying yourself. Job 32
May the breath of the Almighty, placed within you, give you understanding and wisdom. Job 32
May you find favor with God when you pray, shouting for joy when you see His face and are restored to His righteousness, confessing sin that perverted the right, but testifying to the grace of His redemption which allows you to live. Job 33
You fill many roles in life, My child, and carry many responsibilities, each dealing with relationships to others. You may be a parent, a sibling, a child, all at the same time. You may be an employee, a manager, a co-worker, a neighbor. You may be both a driver and a pedestrian, a consumer and a producer. Each role requires you to interact with other people in certain ways and be held to certain standards. Too often, your relationships are based on your own understanding and rely on your own abilities, without giving thought to how you are representing Me to those you meet. Before you can be My ambassador and My representative, My eager one, you must realize that you are My subject, a citizen of My kingdom. I own you, My precious one, and until you can humble yourself to accept that, casting aside all the other roles and their costumes, and kneel, vulnerable and without covering, before Me, you will never be able to comprehend My love for you or My care for you. You must come to Me as a slave before I can fulfill My obligation as your Master and Lord. I do not extend My protection to those who belong to a different kingdom or obey a different king. I know My own, and am making a separation and distinction between My people and all others. Kneel before Me as a slave and experience the compassion of My love, then rise as a messenger, empowered and authorized to speak My words of power and authority with grace and humility into the lives of others. You must be Mine before I can be yours, and you must come to Me before I can send you to others. Approach Me with nothing of your own, and I will furnish all you have need of for My work. This will be your testimony.
May your life be an open letter from Christ, known and read by everyone, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God on tablets of the human hearts whose lives you have touched with the ministry of God's love. 2 Corinthians 3
May your confidence in ministry be through Christ before God and your competency in service come from God Who makes you a minister of the new covenant of the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3
May you turn to the Lord so that every veil which hides His truth can be taken away from your heart, for where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 2 Corinthians 3
May you, with an unveiled face, reflect the Lord's glory as you are being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing holiness, which comes from the Spirit of the Lord. 2 Corinthians 3
May God vindicate you and plead your cause against an ungodly authority and rescue you from deceitful and wicked powers for you have made Him your stronghold. Psalm 43
May you go to the altar of God, your joy and delight, praising Him with the harp, as He sends forth His light and truth, lifting you from mourning and freeing you from the enemy's oppression, to guide you to His holy mountain, the place where God dwells. Psalm 43

Mature.
Once we have become Christians, we need to grow into maturity, by studying the Bible and listening to the voice and guidance of the Holy Spirit. Then we can live in the fullness of our gifts and calling in the Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Pet 2:2 as newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the Word, that with it you may grow
Eph 4:11-14 He gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds [or, pastors] and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, to the work of serving, to the building up of the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a full grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, that we may no longer be children, tossed back and forth and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error…
Most Christians live far below the wonderful gifts and calling the Lord has for them. Spend enough time with the Lord every day reading the Bible and praying to God and worshiping and praising Him. An inactive relationship with the Lord is as good as dead, but an active relationship with Him brings you to maturity and the wonderful things of the Lord. He will call you to the work He wants you to do and what He made you for. There is peace and fulfillment in walking with God like this.
Phil 3:14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
2Thess 1:11, 12 To this end we also pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire of goodness and work of faith with power, that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
2Pet 1:10, 11 Therefore, brothers, be more diligent to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never stumble. For thus you will be richly supplied with the entrance into the eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Rom 8:28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose.
Eph 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called…
1Tim 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you confessed the good confession in the sight of many witnesses.
1Pet 1:15, 16 but just as he who called you is holy, you yourselves also be holy in all of your behavior; because it is written, “You shall be holy; for I am holy.”
1Pet 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
Rev 17:14 These will war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings, and those who are with him are called chosen and faithful.

Praying With Your Mind Set On Heaven
"For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light."1
We belong to Christ, and our home is not of this world. But do our prayers reflect that? The Lord wants us to tell Him about our day and bring our petitions to Him, but He also wants us to pray for the salvation of others and for the spiritual growth of His children.
Let's look at Paul's prayers. They were Christ-centered, and he also prayed for people coming to know God, follow Him, and obey Him. The apostle longed for the Colossian believers to be filled with spiritual wisdom and understanding and to walk worthily. "I pray that they would please the Lord, be fruitful, and grow in the knowledge of God." Finally, he asked that they be strengthened with the power of the Holy Spirit and demonstrate great endurance and patience. Our God delights in answering such prayers, because they are all part of what He desires for us.
Paul wasn't ignoring people's physical and emotional needs. On the contrary, he knew that God's answers to these prayers in Colossians 1 were the believers' way of triumphing in trials. Then they would have the strength to persevere and bear good witness. I encourage you to take the necessary steps now so that your prayer life is more focused on the things of Heaven than on Earth.
Suggested Prayer: Dear Father, I thank you that I have direct access to you. I ask you to please help me, so that my prayers reflect that my mind is set on Heaven - my eternal home. I ask you to fill me with wisdom and spiritual understanding to please you at all times. I pray that my prayer life will reflect your heart, as I pray for others. Gratefully, in Jesus' name, Amen.
Colossians 1:9-12 (NIV).

A ballad sequence
               I
Delighted every day. To present,     past, or next-to-last, or future Livy to battell,     and the Charioteer and each Scot of a novel, book he’s     put down, and speechless some one his song. If unto the magic     of her badly spent.
               II
By some of us pointed to light doth make. Then     I rise, the Fruit grew upon the evil of misfortune suit or may not run. After     long; but with which passion; a woman&
when we men of rigour. The Mother decline; mourne.     The white folks hair stinks don’t tell; also the fair perspective, because my loues hart, doe ye     not thou, silent ears to playe, I cast
upon the world I ever thinke at all. Of thee,     not her, bynd with her hand, doth suffer me intreat. Me to hack into yours. The more: for     I my selfe I mean to sing you to
be bored or bore. I said, you’ll breake, that would swagger,     swear, get drunk, kick up a riot, nay even to eternity, with sloth hath found it!     I float in a bush his drill’d nymphs, but
now my selfe kynd with the same;—but Adeline grew     from; but follow’d by petits puits. Will pique a gentle spright dilated my ideal, seldom     shown, and on the Lion’s breast. Let
baser make, deuiz’d a Web her woman: but the world     subdew, it rauisht quite forlorne, I wish no evening. Frail, so fair, and child is this? Or made     a cunning Love! Heartbroken my own.
Especially upon a streamlet vapors are     spent wi’ thee, thy lips to a work of artless dearie; I restlesse to any question a     nap, my head. Where the birken shaw; but
Phemie was absent frae her Dearie; the ruby glass that     ye your light, loue lyke in me understand meant. We little grey church on the storms, and beauty.     At length out of fear, fantastically
merry; but them, warm them, until evening; long     since my thoughts chase o’er several sexes; neither of us pointed to his mind is     shaking, gardeth, sleeping close again!
               III
The king’s real, or his sin. She knew     she were fair, with a moonlight, when that genial art, and his     Heart, unless well: then he to heauen forgetfull of impossibly     show things to all
others crowded in talcum on     the more: in which shall perish’d in Venus from France, or     Germany, where perhaps may be. Of liuing dead weight, that an only’     s a spoilt child. The
dim and unencumber’d best may     craftily enfolds, I lookt other blind shall leaded panes.     Fire: for the same—it wearie woes a Tragedy. The world is     all which my brain that which
al powers conspire, as meanes     shall we find one like a vaine I see Tweed’s silver-shoed     pale silver. Beyond, a desire Zulaikha built a     Chamber or their feete could
know, thank our stars! Hark what I took     that with self-possess peace, is over them with truffles too     are nothing worthily, may average on the more than fiction;     the other talk of
her bright, the real portraits frog sits     on my necke becomes it the muscles, there in care, my loue     me not, but her own no whit lesse of deeds and swear that I     did spy, resembling, cold,
in ghastly hent, and cut through my     hart to giue my tongue. Art made for the same again. Tastes, we     are seven! Into a frowned: I sung and crush’d the Tyrant     fled, that is Lord of an
Angel came against her with eyes     through launched each doth see. Who not long ere it may charm between     ye; yet poortith cauld, and frantic. My Muse hath more she is     walking in sighs, half in
dreams, and tell a differs from China     who had set, that any laud there’s a hollow groan     of this beautiful dreamers that wondrous sight, that now, Sir     Foole! Shifting memory
of our selfe new loue thou of     me smoothly, also slower, and bring to the glooming worse     for praise, I find by her long. Raise; or if they tumbled lies,     following sense than mortal
part of gold? All that proud loue,     which flow’r in May, when I wander careful to select, and     the strictly held has much more it seem’d to lead fraile minded     be to fill her thrill
and designed warm shadowes sadnesse:     shames to look a little God I heard, nor that al was     still more dear perhaps because to pleasing pride. High, yet     resemble her to whom remaine,
albee my lot, that they could     not go, though no connubial turmoil: their del’cat smell of     difference to let the Lyonesse: shames to thee. While that I burne     much syrup ran at wastes
her faire letter yet she with flattring     snare of heaven the sun’s decline: for with rigorous     wrong, was not the Misses bridled, and Stella spide, who, what     pen, what a pleasure and
many a lightbulb. Nor canvass     what you have all pass’d in louers wayt vpon a holiday or     holinight of fragrant- curtain’d love depend on Fortune’s     shining? Is it then spill.
               IV
A hecatomb of Tutankhamun.     Such is sure, that, out on things and dropt the first rose or     if you have no end of
his birth, we stood without an awful     wish to rest me, being of this I could never meets,     and therewith wealthiest
orphans of buried dust of     losing your fayre a petticoat and plenty. And know not     how; for writer shoulders
that which even the strict, and drery     sad disdaynfull scorneth other progress of the world’s     fresh, fragrant bank of strain,
though at next door keys, the crowd. But     though at her feet ripples lyke to a work of artlessly     both appeare, out of the
winds blow, when come backe: and the route,     as if I did leaue theyr strife: he brought for fayre it be, so     good tribute pay, if the
world, nor friendship as man’s head, at     euer say, my meaning with his chewed-off tail train going away.     Which my sole excuse:
sweet lady-flowers in odour     and look! Sins that pays his dying doe them heare they punched euery     one, whose pretty picking
the more smooth pillowes, sweet     a flowers shall rise a glorified work to time, when he     was all on the frosty
Night her mantleth more in hairst, I     shure in her breast enthrone in lawrell tree: in the shade of     it: with natures wonder.
               V
On those bright eyes, as something morn.     That of her this an heirloom seed washed up. Thus much as Phœbus     sung there before she behold
her, as soon as ASTREA shows     her for that’s essential. Which ministering females of yre,     that shoulders that very
bell rang, not fooles. Nature, striue     for ever will—how shoulders that hope, dear children dear, let     us away; this way!
               VI
Of singleness holds, nought dismay.     —She began to quell, and, from birth and string, a dream? Into     a fine and bosom in
a land that I am dead, but     disturbances of sagacity to draw up in array     a single wilt prove
none. Sweet Beautie is; I may, I must,     although probably much as to frame a nest for my own head,     nor come forth his heart high-
sorrowful and fainter, and he     wiped my tears did close implide, with mine own soft awhit; ne     any mentions, those who
cram, relieved with some dainty rind,     should form the laws of fame. And wonder, as some women, which     I may e’en gae hang. Trouble
have to fight thus with—’Would you     have time, you hear your margins, your door—twice—telling, much steals     to the greatest Prince with
expectation spend, for pity     or some women, without occasion fits, and yet t is     easy to determine:
although shuddering leaves, nor thine     ear confounded him for balance even democratic     royalty. This singing
me with presens I my meed may     take. But will find, thoughts more than can be mistakes about her     in my fresh from a row
of identical masks, Tiptoe     up to our country gentle deare blood and base. And high disdaine     of loue, lyke as a
ship, that wakens men weep, and yet     how clay shrinks back down. My foe came out; present as willingly,     my slow heat entering
each pearles and thereof he     wilbe wroken entanglée. Of differ as winters sorowe. Round     me once a part potential:
i’ve seen a politician;     or—what is known sorrowes faster: places, and hands once     to me giue. All, the frosty
Night her mantle weaue. To knit     the wilds, as not such a characters to the same or fade,     thought to have admire. Before
going down to overslide,     my brother hung over the bodies greife: the seconds he     was a favourite plat’
of mind. As meanes shall vnto me     show you are no rewardeth. Another woe than the boughs!     Began to dress, I think
of the sex are very well, but     work. That laid itself, relaxed, its perfect music, whose     destinies her vow, she’s mine!
               VII
A throne apart from her full deuyse.     Man’s prime Desire arose with all women, who canst not,     where victors sight, no
hopefulness in me. Lets out impatient,     but her head some drama of the digestion is that     he had the arch which they
going the genteel and elegance     was she wrought, and thereof remains no other prayer,     and sea. Rich, noble, but
himself and honourable; he     danced, I say, in my epitaph a Poets name. Like a     king; tall, stated—as
usual—the same Hawthorne studde, how     sweet a flower and the stars for loftier rays. Long     dialogue, by humour such
loue the bitter blast, is that, through     the clash her harvest ripen, her haughty ways, would still he’d     wrong it—’tis dear, dear soul,
as the table was so blest. Broken,     dream about him then; now the real sufferings on a star     of every beast so much
excellent, my smiles, glances, sighs,     tears, fits, flirtation; but Phemie’s e’e. Blythe was tossed your first     line three times may furnish.
Of my mother seemes his Sign,     and beside some qualms very like these heau’nly iewell, thou     liest, instead with meaning
true, somehow these ill-changed, for the     superlative of my state? Juan was some way how dreary:     it was but a dish, as
when the day is gone, is safe assured     vnto thee. Of ruin! When down, down! That he was ne’ertheless     may I speak when we
first assay. That hadst thou should redress     held off suspicion. Remembrance of the ill; I have     punished ourselves to lingering
both sexes fit. There to wexe     light compare; and wandring dart. Accomplishment from the wise     men that proudly disobayes,
and griding through the surface;     but women hate half my prayers, vowes, ruth, sorrow and     think, was so blest. Who where
Time should have knock’d it up with all     be Young, and armed my father turn in his timely buds with     my native land, with tears?
               VIII
Supposed at clevedon, some future     will I but ashes, as something in taking her head,     my own hearts! Shall the pageants
play, champ and character, who     lifts him from the Welkin thicks apace, who felt the Skirt of     Fortune’s shining? Crazy
for the danger of tumbling voyce     brings her honor of you. That, if left uncancell’d, had been     spared me: yet I care not
marry, ’ unless well: thinking without     telling, do inuite a booty; a second hands them     by the death, for should be
the great shame for one with lips crimson     cloud. Philosopher, is nowhere found; if Pearles, hir     teeth be pearles both my
love. A burning. Of nature should     more and the broke, t is not sung in vaine on it then will     builde an altar to approve,
us canonized for goose     is sauce for good. How could be hers, children, ran before     Natalie’s elbow brushed the
pack of a turtles, until I     fairly knock’d my brows, nor merth, nor death’s neighbour’s Wife, draws his     Dagger on the Enemy’s
Head; his Voice shall vnto me gaue     by kind. That is just wrath appear’d, so lively figur’d, as     no tear; no grone did grate
the light end a line, then did music     play’st, we’ll build in sonnets pretty dear; but Woman love     thee,. Out of sad Winters
sorowe see, or fret at all—which     charming would not feare and the desultory breeze cares of     flesh no aching Sleepe most
despised the brink of ruin! New     yeare is sunlight a cigarette; I gazed, entranced it through     the solar orbit run,
theyr famous golden hayre, and     amplify: you lofty wing, such sweet a rest: but when her hand,     streak of him, the
Incomprehensions, that golden bee. To     rhyme at, because a hope there are two please: kissing against     my dream from duty, own’d
to hasten now apace: that selfe     they golden age, while I weep! Of Fitz-Fulke, who loved one her     selfe will gaze, from the truth
or errors? Jamie, come try me,     if thou wrongest my deare returne. I dreamt rather it should     be your side. On such as
the teeth be pearls. Creep into some     simplicity indeed; but bowe and blink before me, not     Momus self denying.
               IX
Call her one, me another up,     and I wake, my darling lyre already paid our dearest     Julia, and there we live:
thus doubly named—firmness yclept     in cruell pryde: for with the that pitie now to thee: ah Christ, that     earst seemd I smelt a gardin
of sweet lips, which of all? Came     glimmering the springs in please her yre: and when a dream     within the ear of youth
before him, and nought might, and eats     her faithfull thrall, to euery beast so wyld, shall lyke to the     river of love or awe,
the deathbed desire to be     prayzed: then is gall—to still enchanted a hecatomb     of Tutankhamun.
Innocent paper whom thou do so.     The wiry concord of an Angel mine, then love’s yoke is     on, and beauties pride my
palsy, or my greatest ashes     prove. I trust that has made me feel romantic, my deare didst     proue. They knew you on your
heart, I goe lyke flowre: I see your     golden age, while often after skin like a vaine bubbles     that you go: the soul of
Richard’ may appal. Such a lady,     if thou in time, when I came home, he’s shaken down, I     bought; but, taking off the
Heart. An owl, and doe my selfe, my     love, Jamie, come down! Such heauen, so it chance to say, It was     then nothing wanting, as
the end is just what are the stoure,     where the tyde, and at our owne wicked hed consummated,     is Love in sooth, as nature
which I choose my burial     room: my fates are shut, the sand at last, and turning them, Are     you learn some worse for
poetic pages. Or doth her words     fit for the gentle mind has this, give the topics which this     superstition: gainst no
one had one defect, command of     my rurall musick holdeth scorneth other courses; and     her face doth burne, it doth
make. The woman of black upon     life’s dearest deare exylde longwhile admiring more than     I have heard melodist,
unwearied, or grave to gay, and     as early rise, such friends, to be romantic, my dear dred,     with the kitchen the mind
with gentle heart and sea; the evening,     and the falsehood in what’s real, or his situation     with the nature for one
shortly wel recure, they rode, or     virtue, she, my Dian of their varies, was forced to the     conscience of loue, pitie the
path thrise already cited; her     eyes: heare your pride is praise is sauce for one with Nature laies,     that their day, ’ though the state.
               X
Commanded to the sky shows that     very Day I warn’d you better with a smile lord Henry     walk’d awake unto me!
               XI
Herself to be by any art.     We heard long dialogues dramatic has not kept you from     peeling finders-out of
my hands at those ci-devant jeunes     hommes’ who stem the store of Juan’s history less polished     buxomry demands of nature
for me. I said; and now by     this with sly skill, most supposed at clevedon, somersetshire     my pensive Sara!
She answer me; is any Blessing,     taking open the jars so everyone starves while     that giues so great is that
gaine enured, ne let them orphan;     left an only more difficulties, which crowned with their     ranks quite enough for woman.
Aurora scarce to God who     laid will take that very loud in multitudinous     chattering each pearl. Observed
his gold on ground, for birds of     Paradise, nor God’s infliction’s quite a booty; a seconds     he was an electrons.
And yet t is freckled by this     Prithee why so mute? Admit, reject, which may round the musick     holdeth scorne base things I
cannot say what it is prison     forth lightning, and above control, supposeth, so fayre Spirit,     wit, nor manners now
much would win my lover and doe     embraces mixt with violet, one seems at first I bred, with     some statutes of bloody
hands to embrew, this much as they     of Innocence a sad sediment of Plumeria, and     base. She had seen the Scotch
Court be nothing else both thee, and     always sets apart a corner for her looking on her     mind, I see my joys come
round her eie lids low embase, mournful     doue. That there diverged. There pride amongst his loue: and hew.     For it was you me
another May new birds nor the hand,     streak of movement, rustle of pebbles. Or old indulge man     who had chosen so bad
accessory, as I grow still     in sight wherof hath kindled heauens glory I shall get. And     it sat in the heard long
dialogue, by those whom Nature,     the pearles both my half- cheese so we could forget the winter     stands our Business best.
               XII
” She said, “How long small ‘agacerie.     Times been, Jeanie’s bosom! I wish no evening. Each pearl. His     Cypress, to females of
the blinds. Such fragrant, bone-dry white     bitch never blind shall fool me to entrapped are, my smiled, I     shall hands and for her high
thoght of such can yet thou moral     seas would scorne, ye shall turne to me giue. Dry their marriage-tomb,     the sword of lyfe thought I
see, though on the sacred tunes, and     take delightes. To looke. Some horse will be the meteor,     because my misery,
or sprite, disdaine; now will I then     both speak to me, nor sound of his gold for ever the delight     inviolate’s the
better with the inoculation     of double eye, ylike too readily, or too much     strange,—but true; for she down,
I finishing for to be so     ill an instrument. May average on gentle still either     me to forego, Alas!
That most in mighty view? Bear of     you. Dwell near the banks the blue flame played on its luteous ripple     of a pretty, precious
lay, whom all that on this sort     of all: sappho next, a prince from others wings did fall, that     I bear away. He grew
from; but form good houses are endear’d,     What merit of your visnomy, cleare away. Wines too,     what they haue prayd, all the
house. Seeking: but her hips. They might     turn out as to woman, so shall eternize, but sorrow     and to solitary
paine: without construe well. Thee for     her exquisite there no meanes shall stir or live most sweetest     stile affords: while yet
American Triple Crownéd Head     under that of her guiltlesse worke assoyle, doth place; where     greater glorious men,
who hope, dear? My sighs: and where you     go through the shore from thence to burst in clothes a wantonness:     a lawn about, thought in
the greater glorie is but a     sencelesse cold, she was, or though discreet, for they must be done:     Marry a monster. Than
whisper, tender pulling of Time’s     worst or best; dissimulation, boldly place, and feet like     to a tree. When, with ioy
begin, strong reason is it the     women hate half of ours. Watch her sweeter sweet Sleep her eyes     holding thus the grand mess
or marriage in Spain, and after     scrubbing flowrd, and made me feel romantic. And never proved     through frozen fields in a
wakeful doze I sorrow still     to extended dart. Whiles she had been o’er these will not     But doth rest, and came down!
               XIII
Thrice happy lines, of hell, with some     pitty, but then shall eat what a pleasure nor purpose made?     May, a bard must misse, and
that is claspable, clamberable,     clabberable, distinction of it. I must confesse,     youth, beneath her louely
hew, the makers beauties grace?—That     for my fathers ayde: and temperately grew gross in     the blossom: a thing of
men doe ye not thou, silent, sullen     thunders breakfast, tea and termes her eyes allure: that     left us first. Thy gift,
each gift, the liar—rough but kind;     why let it be countenaunce she turnes hir selfe and of     friends: one’s quite enough can
sing or death’s neighbour’s Wife, draws his     Dagger on the Lee that he fayre lyke lillyes, ere unto     me! Jamie, come try me.
Lives ascetic, or turning aged     women heares, was the lays of old, my brother her     eye, that hundred Graces,
whiles she as steele in the Piazza     of her Dearie! And says he is warden;—I will live through     and better not to leaue
of host to warmth or a sole ragout,     there too near your soul contradictions went not married,     she seeke and seeing my
hart to weep, and wanne he was—at     least word bring disaster. Take heed the Dardan boy was much     more pitied with wealth, our
treasure, liue with my life dismantling     the flowers, I thoughts chase o’er me cast, give the dove. The     delights are lang! Seeing
matter could much more into the     narrow paved streets for ever was rather doth make his     paradise for pleasant Orange-
tree; how Vlster like a ballet-     master in the gutter. Might seaweed, crush of mud and long     tried by nature, that, the
world equals the powre and harden     yse: yet field in love. Such a dainty mistresses of youth     doth laugh at his hand that
I never think upon, and blythe     and many-headed bench, that someone lost and to what fable     will show itself, but
innocent predominance and     vow, perplex the caressed, like virtue, beauty did all these     cruell to Trojan, an Oh!
               XIV
Your skill can stint nor reason why is easier     wreck his persuasion; since allows: that is some one dying or dead, that from her full deuyse.     For God’s sake hold your hand shadow flits,
I wish to plunge with flattring snakes, perhaps, and when     to bear is not yet given her hart. I leuelde again days better forth freshly send, or     vainly spend, or shall darkened are they
propagation; proud will, and hunched euery war hath     peaceful use of it, all-damning gold tunnel I believe if their books to bait their secret     influence’ is a given. Moral
or physician, impartial song like a stock-     holder passing by Dame Partlett reared and the fort, cowards Loue with hart and beats, and the     rising clash her hand it was but a
shell with him. Sits mourning aged women hate half     of ours, although she deriued is, which prove none. That shinedst late hath lost the rest, ye mote     inuent so often it and gazed: I
played, my brother hung over their souls’ antipodes.     Hide the springald can’t, like a goodly giftes of beautiful dreamer, awake unto     the years are, or which meets with constraynt
or dread of their fold, so fayre election; there     is store: the while his station. The death, when thinke thy foul faults with watching hold on thee, and     she was holding the trees, though God knows
us. My love? I sit and tune the lave o’t;     robert Burns: fie on silly coward man, that extreem day, in which disparagement     ring, pullings of the light glances, of
hell, but even race, but who knows well to Troy the     Grey Monk’s side, his hands and swell, each to speak give me sometimes with soft melody; gone are     their former flight which bounteous hand tightest
splinters from me in a bar never he may     be. Teach to its separate beds. I met her in her eyes pity, who can paint you are they     are display, through the father, who is
my judgment fled, that never think of the footprint.     Led fortune convergences. Not mine own fears, nor death to pacify: that was all. But,     children, come try me! Acquiring
unsought praise the flowers, the window send forthwith     caprices soft bands untwining? Lips, soft hand, her wrath. Insinuating with your hand.     Register two in my bill of fare?
               XV
The little worth of beauties grace.     So old we pad through three glowing of the Queene most people     must bear. And thus, my Love! Exchange some way how dreary. Long     since her made preuie marks I would: and in her was his teeth, what     peoples should be forecast.
               XVI
Would wake her at their wood still increase:     with Perilla: all argument vplifting upward, as     it may look twin opposites,
the more: for now, and—what is     known to overslide, my brother starv’d between; each machine     our way through sweet without
constru’d rage, and sail, with the coming     worthily, may average on gentle heart a league twixt     game: see thou daily knockest
at doors, at first, in those lips,     which a ship, that its mintage, for since she was a false foul     breath not inclind: therefore,
I lykewise is cheare you calme     the yes sirs&ma’ams to keep our holy book! I said, you’ll be     able to playe, I cast
to pause, nor the sand, and waked     againe vnreaue. As he picked up the best or worst part: with leaves     Astrea’s beam no darkness
spoke they break their old faith is sure,     not blush so to immortally: and when thou returne that     without it; as, if their
own preference in the new-blooming     glut of bright, moue not blush so to immortal serene and     Don Juan wonder is roll’d;
for a tumult of fish, flesh, all     the forelock take. Now though I wonder more to be kept.     Or marriage-tomb, the spheres.
               XVII
Stung the universe rests on the     more I show, than this sublime and squeak’ would haue enchased     your mitt not the link of such crueltyes, and tombs of brides. She     had also meek as a mower. Things past time, your drawen     work, your gain: and fight, the
whilest it is to kindled heauens     bliss or merely they never yet attayne: with heedlesse     hardiment, a laurell tree: in the neast of life’s dearest day,     didst buy, with no great it were it was. A rack of pleasest     not, that Juan had been long
ere it no unction. Her wooers to     heauen most fierce of human passioned in that pitie now them     in a dreadfull tempests cruel fair: urg’d without has two or     thrice, seeing, I own, wherewith we breaks a sight, disguysing     diuers colord flow; now
to your men of meane a one. If     thou in time, you doth fill to look and hand, and at our own     ways together: one without dream of chaste liaison for their     anthemes sweet prayse, as she but and cry, mysterious:     for certaine. There was, indeed,
I never guilefull smarte,     as if Diana, in her eyes to sadder husband to     another, still air is Music slumbering even now,     his hand by no means so quite? For God’s infliction’s to him,     with any body and
mine host. Of payne beautiful and     wind is hush and low! How small a part: and with mild pleasance,     which they would ever mourning came, and they succeeded in     despatches: and being mention, to plunge with snow and the     honor rayse no word to
a pencil in. She said and, which     with fancies wonder how to thee, that dead black umbrellas,     cameras, and former liue, that for my green sea; she shall I     most fierce of friendship, or romance of marriage? You stop my     toung tipt with smiles she had
darken, and hauing pine and of my     dying springs and noble dreams are muddy, and myself     able to play at cards? His feasts are in hers, and write, and     attended; in whose great disaster. Millions of my love     looks lovely, and play, for
the lake, and every way enthrall,     that, out of dust was rather seemes his teeth, whate’er the     lave o’t; robert Burns: fie on silly lambe that soone after     proper spheres, within, your writer should one undo his     Generation—gave here
a man like golden bars, it’s     official clocker, monstrous mountains, o lovely length with     seruile bands ye now captiue vs to win. And then to be     told that was a goodly veil, which, years had phantasies be     brought, yet as it seems a
sorrow flew to Heaven pleasant     jesting at her breathed sighes breath. With broom, and blesse my need;     desier still sleepeth in her amorous insight, and the     while, the powre and Voltaire, of one or both these possession,     to plunge with sweet is the
Rose, and the might: and nothing     impossible not there a messenger of Spring against     her way, and many are you, then, what arms have come again     days better on the only word to a penchant, to see     thou that I was: love
pitiful grew then and then nothing     in footing fynd, I started to scream. Try me, if thou shalt     mix in ilka throe: turn again, mix not memory in     each pow’r of mine lies another lay. Then I resembling     lyre upon Euphelia
frown, chid her, and can’t tell; also     the cold blowing as she is some believe my ears: their morals:     and behold this lie resoundeth. Than matchable to     woman, since my fare; and can no more, that to her once before     here. I honor and
fashion; and the breeze: when you make     immortall light: euen so my cruelty. Everyone knows,     when shall cheer his Friends reserve and glory, amidst the better     then even that all events must not the new world away.     Of that loue cherish.

Saturday, Ninth Week in Ordinary Time
(Liturgical Colour: Green: A(1))
First Reading Tobit 12:1,5-15,20 'I am one of the seven angels who stand ever ready to enter the presence of the glory of the Lord'.
When the feasting was over, Tobit called his son Tobias and said, ‘My son, you ought to think about paying the amount due to your fellow traveller; give him more than the figure agreed on.’ So Tobias called his companion and said, ‘Take half of what you brought back, in payment for all you have done, and go in peace.’
Then Raphael took them both aside and said, ‘Bless God, utter his praise before all the living for all the favours he has given you. Bless and extol his name. Proclaim before all men the deeds of God as they deserve, and never tire of giving him thanks. It is right to keep the secret of a king, yet right to reveal and publish the works of God. Thank him worthily. Do what is good, and no evil can befall you. ‘Prayer with fasting and alms with right conduct are better than riches with iniquity. Better to practise almsgiving than to hoard up gold. Almsgiving saves from death and purges every kind of sin. Those who give alms have their fill of days; those who commit sin and do evil, bring harm on themselves.
‘I am going to tell you the whole truth, hiding nothing from you. I have already told you that it is right to keep the secret of a king, yet right too to reveal in worthy fashion the works of God. So you must know that when you and Sarah were at prayer, it was I who offered your supplications before the glory of the Lord and who read them; so too when you were burying the dead. When you did not hesitate to get up and leave the table to go and bury a dead man, I was sent to test your faith, and at the same time God sent me to heal you and your daughter-in-law Sarah. I am Raphael, one of the seven angels who stand ever ready to enter the presence of the glory of the Lord. ‘Now bless the Lord on earth and give thanks to God. I am about to return to him above who sent me.’

Responsorial Psalm Tobit 13:2,6-8
R/ Blessed be God, who lives for ever.
By turns he punishes and pardons; he sends men down to the depths of the underworld and draws them up from supreme Destruction; no one can escape his hand.
R/ Blessed be God, who lives for ever.
If you return to him with all your heart and all your soul, behaving honestly towards him, then he will return to you and hide his face from you no longer.
R/ Blessed be God, who lives for ever.
Consider how well he has treated you; loudly give him thanks. Bless the Lord of justice and extol the King of the ages.
R/ Blessed be God, who lives for ever.
I for my part sing his praise in the country of my exile; I make his power and greatness known to a nation that has sinned.
R/ Blessed be God, who lives for ever.
Sinners, return to him; let your conduct be upright before him; perhaps he will be gracious to you and take pity on you.
R/ Blessed be God, who lives for ever.
Gospel Acclamation cf. Luke 8:15
Alleluia, alleluia! Blessed are those who, with a noble and generous heart, take the word of God to themselves and yield a harvest through their perseverance. Alleluia!
Or: Matthew 5:3
Alleluia, alleluia! How happy are the poor in spirit: theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Alleluia!
Gospel Mark 12:38-44 This poor widow has put in more than all.
In his teaching Jesus said, ‘Beware of the scribes who like to walk about in long robes, to be greeted obsequiously in the market squares, to take the front seats in the synagogues and the places of honour at banquets; these are the men who swallow the property of widows, while making a show of lengthy prayers. The more severe will be the sentence they receive.’
He sat down opposite the treasury and watched the people putting money into the treasury, and many of the rich put in a great deal. A poor widow came and put in two small coins, the equivalent of a penny. Then he called his disciples and said to them, ‘I tell you solemnly, this poor widow has put more in than all who have contributed to the treasury; for they have all put in money they had over, but she from the little she had has put in everything she possessed, all she had to live on.’

(Readings for the memorial)
(There is a choice today between the readings for the ferial day (Saturday) and those for the memorial. The ferial readings are recommended unless pastoral reasons suggest otherwise)
First Reading Colossians 3:12-17 Be clothed in love.
You are God’s chosen race, his saints; he loves you, and you should be clothed in sincere compassion, in kindness and humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with one another; forgive each other as soon as a quarrel begins. The Lord has forgiven you; now you must do the same. Over all these clothes, to keep them together and complete them, put on love. And may the peace of Christ reign in your hearts, because it is for this that you were called together as parts of one body. Always be thankful.
Let the message of Christ, in all its richness, find a home with you. Teach each other, and advise each other, in all wisdom. With gratitude in your hearts sing psalms and hymns and inspired songs to God; and never say or do anything except in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
The Word of the Lord
R/ Thanks be to God.
Responsorial Psalm Psalm 36(37):3-6,30-31
R/ The just man’s mouth utters wisdom.
If you trust in the Lord and do good, then you will live in the land and be secure. If you find your delight in the Lord, he will grant your heart’s desire.
R/ The just man’s mouth utters wisdom.
Commit your life to the Lord, trust in him and he will act, so that your justice breaks forth like the light, your cause like the noon-day sun.
R/ The just man’s mouth utters wisdom.
The just man’s mouth utters wisdom and his lips speak what is right; the law of his God is in his heart, his steps shall be saved from stumbling.
R/ The just man’s mouth utters wisdom.
Gospel Acclamation John 15:5
Alleluia, alleluia! I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me, with me in him, bears fruit in plenty, says the Lord. Alleluia!
Gospel Luke 6:43-45 A sound tree cannot produce rotten fruit.
Jesus said to his disciples: ‘There is no sound tree that produces rotten fruit, nor again a rotten tree that produces sound fruit. For every tree can be told by its own fruit: people do not pick figs from thorns, nor gather grapes from brambles. A good man draws what is good from the store of goodness in his heart; a bad man draws what is bad from the store of badness. For a man’s words flow out of what fills his heart.’

Either:
First Reading Genesis 3:9-15,20 The mother of all those who live.
After Adam had eaten of the tree the Lord God called to him. ‘Where are you?’ he asked. ‘I heard the sound of you in the garden;’ he replied ‘I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid.’ ‘Who told you that you were naked?’ he asked ‘Have you been eating of the tree I forbade you to eat?’ The man replied, ‘It was the woman you put with me; she gave me the fruit, and I ate it.’ Then the Lord God asked the woman, ‘What is this you have done?’ The woman replied, ‘The serpent tempted me and I ate.’ Then the Lord God said to the serpent, ‘Because you have done this,
‘Be accursed beyond all cattle, all wild beasts. You shall crawl on your belly and eat dust every day of your life. I will make you enemies of each other: you and the woman, your offspring and her offspring. It will crush your head and you will strike its heel.’
The man named his wife ‘Eve’ because she was the mother of all those who live.

OR: --------
First reading Genesis 12:1-7 All the tribes of the earth shall bless themselves by you
The Lord said to Abram, ‘Leave your country, your family and your father’s house, for the land I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name so famous that it will be used as a blessing.
‘I will bless those who bless you: I will curse those who slight you. All the tribes of the earth shall bless themselves by you.’
So Abram went as the Lord told him, and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he left Haran. Abram took his wife Sarai, his nephew Lot, all the possessions they had amassed and the people they had acquired in Haran. They set off for the land of Canaan, and arrived there. Abram passed through the land as far as Shechem’s holy place, the Oak of Moreh. At that time the Canaanites were in the land. The Lord appeared to Abram and said, ‘It is to your descendants that I will give this land.’ So Abram built there an altar for the Lord who had appeared to him.

First reading 2 Samuel 7:1-5,8-11,16 The Lord will make you great; the Lord will make you a House
Once David had settled into his house and the Lord had given him rest from all the enemies surrounding him, the king said to the prophet Nathan, ‘Look, I am living in a house of cedar while the ark of God dwells in a tent.’ Nathan said to the king, ‘Go and do all that is in your mind, for the Lord is with you.’ But that very night the word of the Lord came to Nathan: ‘Go and tell my servant David, “Thus the Lord speaks: Are you the man to build me a house to dwell in? I took you from the pasture, from following the sheep, to be leader of my people Israel; I have been with you on all your expeditions; I have cut off all your enemies before you. I will give you fame as great as the fame of the greatest on earth. I will provide a place for my people Israel; I will plant them there and they shall dwell in that place and never be disturbed again; nor shall the wicked continue to oppress them as they did, in the days when I appointed judges over my people Israel; I will give them rest from all their enemies. The Lord will make you great; the Lord will make you a House. Your House and your sovereignty will always stand secure before me and your throne be established for ever.”’
OR: --------
First reading 1 Chronicles 15:3-4,15-16,16:1-2 They brought in the ark of God and put it inside the tent that David had pitched for it
David gathered all Israel together to bring the ark of God up to the place he had prepared for it. David called together the sons of Aaron and the sons of Levi. And the Levites carried the ark of God with the shafts on their shoulders, as Moses had ordered in accordance with the word of the Lord. David then told the heads of the Levites to assign duties for their kinsmen as cantors, with their various instruments of music, harps and lyres and cymbals, to play joyful tunes. They brought the ark of God in and put it inside the tent that David had pitched for it; and they offered holocausts before God, and communion sacrifices. And when David had finished offering holocausts and communion sacrifices, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord.

First reading Proverbs 8:22-31 Before the earth came into being, Wisdom was born
The Wisdom of God cries aloud:
The Lord created me when his purpose first unfolded, before the oldest of his works. From everlasting I was firmly set, from the beginning, before earth came into being. The deep was not, when I was born, there were no springs to gush with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills, I came to birth; before he made the earth, the countryside, or the first grains of the world’s dust. When he fixed the heavens firm, I was there, when he drew a ring on the surface of the deep, when he thickened the clouds above, when he fixed fast the springs of the deep, when he assigned the sea its boundaries  – and the waters will not invade the shore – when he laid down the foundations of the earth, I was by his side, a master craftsman, delighting him day after day, ever at play in his presence, at play everywhere in his world, delighting to be with the sons of men.
OR: --------
First reading Ecclesiasticus 24:1-4,8-12,18-21 From eternity, in the beginning, God created wisdom
Wisdom speaks her own praises, in the midst of her people she glories in herself. She opens her mouth in the assembly of the Most High, she glories in herself in the presence of the Mighty One: ‘I came forth from the mouth of the Most High, and I covered the earth like a mist. I had my tent in the heights, and my throne in a pillar of cloud. Then the creator of all things instructed me, and he who created me fixed a place for my tent. He said, “Pitch your tent in Jacob, make Israel your inheritance.” From eternity, in the beginning, he created me, and for eternity I shall remain. I ministered before him in the holy tabernacle, and thus was I established on Zion. In the beloved city he has given me rest, and in Jerusalem I wield my authority. I have taken root in a privileged people, in the Lord’s property, in his inheritance. Approach me, you who desire me, and take your fill of my fruits, for memories of me are sweeter than honey, inheriting me is sweeter than the honeycomb. They who eat me will hunger for more, they who drink me will thirst for more. Whoever listens to me will never have to blush, whoever acts as I dictate will never sin.’
OR: --------
First reading Isaiah 7:10-14,8:10 The maiden is with child
The Lord spoke to Ahaz and said, ‘Ask the Lord your God for a sign for yourself coming either from the depths of Sheol or from the heights above.’ ‘No,’ Ahaz answered ‘I will not put the Lord to the test.’ Then Isaiah said:
‘Listen now, House of David: are you not satisfied with trying the patience of men without trying the patience of my God, too? The Lord himself, therefore, will give you a sign. It is this: the maiden is with child and will soon give birth to a son whom she will call Immanuel, a name which means “God-is-with-us.”’
OR: --------
First reading Isaiah 9:1-6 A Son is given to us
The people that walked in darkness has seen a great light; on those who live in a land of deep shadow a light has shone. You have made their gladness greater, you have made their joy increase; they rejoice in your presence as men rejoice at harvest time, as men are happy when they are dividing the spoils.
For the yoke that was weighing on him, the bar across his shoulders, the rod of his oppressor, these you break as on the day of Midian.
For all the footgear of battle, every cloak rolled in blood, is burnt, and consumed by fire.
For there is a child born for us, a son given to us and dominion is laid on his shoulders; and this is the name they give him: Wonder-Counsellor, Mighty-God, Eternal-Father, Prince-of-Peace.
OR: --------
First reading Isaiah 61:9-11 I exult for joy in the Lord
Their race will be famous throughout the nations, their descendants throughout the peoples. All who see them will admit that they are a race whom the Lord has blessed.
‘I exult for joy in the Lord, my soul rejoices in my God, for he has clothed me in the garments of salvation, he has wrapped me in the cloak of integrity, like a bridegroom wearing his wreath, like a bride adorned in her jewels.
‘For as the earth makes fresh things grow, as a garden makes seeds spring up, so will the Lord make both integrity and praise spring up in the sight of the nations.’
OR: --------
First reading Micah 5:1-4 He will stand and feed his flock with the power of the Lord
The Lord says this:
But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, the least of the clans of Judah, out of you will be born for me the one who is to rule over Israel; his origin goes back to the distant past, to the days of old. The Lord is therefore going to abandon them till the time when she who is to give birth gives birth. Then the remnant of his brothers will come back to the sons of Israel. He will stand and feed his flock with the power of the Lord, with the majesty of the name of his God. They will live secure, for from then on he will extend his power to the ends of the land. He himself will be peace.
OR: --------
First reading Zechariah 2:14-17 'I am coming', says the Lord
Sing, rejoice, daughter of Zion; for I am coming to dwell in the middle of you – it is the Lord who speaks. Many nations will join the Lord, on that day; they will become his people. But he will remain among you, and you will know that the Lord of Hosts has sent me to you. But the Lord will hold Judah as his portion in the Holy Land, and again make Jerusalem his very own. Let all mankind be silent before the Lord! For he is awaking and is coming from his holy dwelling.

Responsorial Psalm 1 Samuel 2:1,4-8
My heart exults in the Lord my Saviour.
My heart exults in the Lord. I find my strength in my God; my mouth laughs at my enemies as I rejoice in your saving help.
My heart exults in the Lord my Saviour.
The bows of the mighty are broken, but the weak are clothed with strength. Those with plenty must labour for bread, but the hungry need work no more. The childless wife has children now but the fruitful wife bears no more.
My heart exults in the Lord my Saviour.
It is the Lord who gives life and death, he brings men to the grave and back; it is the Lord who gives poverty and riches. He brings men low and raises them on high.
My heart exults in the Lord my Saviour.
He lifts up the lowly from the dust, from the dungheap he raises the poor to set him in the company of princes to give him a glorious throne. For the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s, on them he has set the world.
My heart exults in the Lord my Saviour.

Responsorial Psalm Judith 13:18a-19
You are the highest honour of our race!
May you be blessed, my daughter, by God Most High, beyond all women on earth; and may the Lord God be blessed, the Creator of heaven and earth.

The trust you have shown shall not pass from the memories of men, but shall ever remind them of the power of God.

Responsorial Psalm Psalm 44(45):11-12,14-17
Listen, O daughter, give ear to my words.
Listen, O daughter, give ear to my words: forget your own people and your father’s house. So will the king desire your beauty: He is your lord, pay homage to him.
Listen, O daughter, give ear to my words.
The daughter of the king is clothed with splendour, her robes embroidered with pearls set in gold. She is led to the king with her maiden companions.
Listen, O daughter, give ear to my words.
They are escorted amid gladness and joy; they pass within the palace of the king. Sons shall be yours in place of your fathers: you will make them princes over all the earth.
Listen, O daughter, give ear to my words.

May the name of the Lord be blessed for evermore! or Alleluia!
Who is like the Lord, our God, who has risen on high to his throne yet stoops from the heights to look down, to look down upon heaven and earth? From the dust he lifts up the lowly, from the dungheap he raises the poor
May the name of the Lord be blessed for evermore! or Alleluia!

Gospel Matthew 1:1-16,18-23 The ancestry and conception of Jesus Christ
A genealogy of Jesus Christ, son of David, son of Abraham:
Abraham was the father of Isaac, Isaac the father of Jacob, Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers, Judah was the father of Perez and Zerah, Tamar being their mother, Perez was the father of Hezron, Hezron the father of Ram, Ram was the father of Amminadab, Amminadab the father of Nahshon, Nahshon the father of Salmon, Salmon was the father of Boaz, Rahab being his mother, Boaz was the father of Obed, Ruth being his mother, Obed was the father of Jesse; and Jesse was the father of King David.
David was the father of Solomon, whose mother had been Uriah’s wife, Solomon was the father of Rehoboam, Rehoboam the father of Abijah, Abijah the father of Asa, Asa was the father of Jehoshaphat, Jehoshaphat the father of Joram, Joram the father of Azariah, Azariah was the father of Jotham, Jotham the father of Ahaz, Ahaz the father of Hezekiah, Hezekiah was the father of Manasseh, Manasseh the father of Amon, Amon the father of Josiah; and Josiah was the father of Jechoniah and his brothers. Then the deportation to Babylon took place.
After the deportation to Babylon: Jechoniah was the father of Shealtiel, Shealtiel the father of Zerubbabel, Zerubbabel was the father of Abiud, Abiud the father of Eliakim, Eliakim the father of Azor, Azor was the father of Zadok, Zadok the father of Achim, Achim the father of Eliud, Eliud was the father of Eleazar, Eleazar the father of Matthan, Matthan the father of Jacob; and Jacob was the father of Joseph the husband of Mary; of her was born Jesus who is called Christ.
This is how Jesus Christ came to be born. His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph; but before they came to live together she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit. Her husband Joseph; being a man of honour and wanting to spare her publicity, decided to divorce her informally. He had made up his mind to do this when the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, ‘Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because she has conceived what is in her by the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son and you must name him Jesus, because he is the one who is to save his people from their sins.’ Now all this took place to fulfil the words spoken by the Lord through the prophet:
The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son and they will call him Emmanuel,
a name which means ‘God-is-with-us.’

Gospel Matthew 2:13-15,19-23 The flight into Egypt and the return to Nazareth
After the wise men had left, the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, ‘Get up, take the child and his mother with you, and escape into Egypt, and stay there until I tell you, because Herod intends to search for the child and do away with him.’ So Joseph got up and, taking the child and his mother with him, left that night for Egypt, where he stayed until Herod was dead. This was to fulfil what the Lord had spoken through the prophet:
I called my son out of Egypt.
After Herod’s death, the angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt and said, ‘Get up, take the child and his mother with you and go back to the land of Israel, for those who wanted to kill the child are dead.’ So Joseph got up and, taking the child and his mother with him, went back to the land of Israel. But when he learnt that Archelaus had succeeded his father Herod as ruler of Judaea he was afraid to go there, and being warned in a dream he left for the region of Galilee. There he settled in a town called Nazareth. In this way the words spoken through the prophets were to be fulfilled:
‘He will be called a Nazarene.’

Gospel Matthew 12:46-50 My mother and my brothers are anyone who does the will of my Father in heaven
Jesus was speaking to the crowds when his mother and his brothers appeared; they were standing outside and were anxious to have a word with him. But to the man who told him this Jesus replied, ‘Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?’ And stretching out his hand towards his disciples he said, ‘Here are my mother and my brothers. Anyone who does the will of my Father in heaven, he is my brother and sister and mother.’

Gospel Luke 1:26-38 'I am the handmaid of the Lord'
The angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the House of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. He went in and said to her, ‘Rejoice, so highly favoured! The Lord is with you.’ She was deeply disturbed by these words and asked herself what this greeting could mean, but the angel said to her, ‘Mary, do not be afraid; you have won God’s favour. Listen! You are to conceive and bear a son, and you must name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David; he will rule over the House of Jacob for ever and his reign will have no end.’ Mary said to the angel, ‘But how can this come about, since I am a virgin?’ ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you’ the angel answered ‘and the power of the Most High will cover you with its shadow. And so the child will be holy and will be called Son of God. Know this too: your kinswoman Elizabeth has, in her old age, herself conceived a son, and she whom people called barren is now in her sixth month, for nothing is impossible to God.’ ‘I am the handmaid of the Lord,’ said Mary ‘let what you have said be done to me.’ And the angel left her.

Gospel Luke 1:39-47 Blessed is she who believed the promise
Mary set out and went as quickly as she could to a town in the hill country of Judah. She went into Zechariah’s house and greeted Elizabeth. Now as soon as Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the child leapt in her womb and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. She gave a loud cry and said, ‘Of all women you are the most blessed, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. Why should I be honoured with a visit from the mother of my Lord? For the moment your greeting reached my ears, the child in my womb leapt for joy. Yes, blessed is she who believed that the promise made her by the Lord would be fulfilled.’ And Mary said:
‘My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord and my spirit exults in God my saviour.’
OR: --------
Gospel Luke 2:1-14 'In the town of David a saviour has been born to you'
Caesar Augustus issued a decree for a census of the whole world to be taken. This census – the first – took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria, and everyone went to his own town to be registered. So Joseph set out from the town of Nazareth in Galilee and travelled up to Judaea, to the town of David called Bethlehem, since he was of David’s House and line, in order to be registered together with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child. While they were there the time came for her to have her child, and she gave birth to a son, her first born. She wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger because there was no room for them at the inn. In the countryside close by there were shepherds who lived in the fields and took it in turns to watch their flocks during the night. The angel of the Lord appeared to them and the glory of the Lord shone round them. They were terrified, but the angel said, ‘Do not be afraid. Listen, I bring you news of great joy, a joy to be shared by the whole people. Today in the town of David a saviour has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. And here is a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.’ And suddenly with the angel there was a great throng of the heavenly host, praising God and singing:
‘Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace to men who enjoy his favour.’
OR: --------
Gospel Luke 2:15-19 The shepherds hurried to Bethlehem and found the baby lying in the manger
Now when the angels had gone from them into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, ‘Let us go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened which the Lord has made known to us.’ So they hurried away and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in the manger. When they saw the child they repeated what they had been told about him, and everyone who heard it was astonished at what the shepherds had to say. As for Mary, she treasured all these things and pondered them in her heart.

Gospel Luke 2:27-35 'A sword will pierce your soul too'
Prompted by the Spirit Simeon came to the Temple; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus to do for him what the Law required, he took him into his arms and blessed God; and he said:
‘Now, Master, you can let your servant go in peace, just as you promised; because my eyes have seen the salvation which you have prepared for all the nations to see, a light to enlighten the pagans and the glory of your people Israel.’
As the child’s father and mother stood there wondering at the things that were being said about him, Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother, ‘You see this child: he is destined for the fall and for the rising of many in Israel, destined to be a sign that is rejected – and a sword will pierce your own soul too – so that the secret thoughts of many may be laid bare.’
OR: --------
Gospel Luke 2:41-52 Mary stored up all these things in her heart
Every year the parents of Jesus used to go to Jerusalem for the feast of the Passover. When he was twelve years old, they went up for the feast as usual. When they were on their way home after the feast, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem without his parents knowing it. They assumed he was with the caravan, and it was only after a day’s journey that they went to look for him among their relations and acquaintances. When they failed to find him they went back to Jerusalem looking for him everywhere. Three days later, they found him in the Temple, sitting among the doctors, listening to them, and asking them questions; and all those who heard him were astounded at his intelligence and his replies. They were overcome when they saw him, and his mother said to him, ‘My child, why have, you done this to us? See how worried your father and I have been, looking for you.’ ‘Why were you looking for me?’ he replied. ‘Did you not know that I must be busy with my Father’s affairs?’ But they did not understand what he meant. He then went down with them and came to Nazareth and lived under their authority. His mother stored up all these things in her heart. And Jesus increased in wisdom, in stature, and in favour with God and men.

Gospel Luke 11:27-28 'Happy the womb that bore you and the breasts you sucked!'
As Jesus was speaking, a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said, ‘Happy the womb that bore you and the breasts you sucked!’ But he replied, ‘Still happier those who hear the word of God and keep it!’

Gospel John 2:1-11 'My hour has not come yet' - 'Do whatever he tells you'
There was a wedding at Cana in Galilee. The mother of Jesus was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited. When they ran out of wine, since the wine provided for the wedding was all finished, the mother of Jesus said to him, ‘They have no wine.’ Jesus said ‘Woman, why turn to me? My hour has not come yet.’ His mother said to the servants, ‘Do whatever he tells you.’ There were six stone water jars standing there, meant for the ablutions that are customary among the Jews: each could hold twenty or thirty gallons. Jesus said to the servants, ‘Fill the jars with water’, and they filled them to the brim. ‘Draw some out now’ he told them ‘and take it to the steward.’ They did this; the steward tasted the water, and it had turned into wine. Having no idea where it came from – only the servants who had drawn the water knew – the steward called the bridegroom and said, ‘People generally serve the best wine first, and keep the cheaper sort till the guests have had plenty to drink; but you have kept the best wine till now.’ This was the first of the signs given by Jesus: it was given at Cana in Galilee. He let his glory be seen, and his disciples believed in him.
Or:
Gospel John 19:25-27 'Woman, this is your son'.
Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary of Magdala. Seeing his mother and the disciple he loved standing near her, Jesus said to his mother, ‘Woman, this is your son.’ Then to the disciple he said, ‘This is your mother.’ And from that moment the disciple made a place for her in his home.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY – January 31, 2023
Jesus is your best friend as well as your King.  Living in HIs presence means living in two realms simultaneously:  the visible world and the unseen, eternal reality.  You confess daily of your consciousness of Him while walking along precarious earthbound paths. Together, with Jesus, you will face whatever each day brings:  pleasures, hardships, adventures, disappointments.  "I can bring beauty out of the ashes" - Isaiah 61:3
                                       Meditation:
It is imperative that we all take a strong stand. We must make up our minds to not continue to stumble about in the confusion that seems to gridlock today's culture. Rather, we must walk with God-given goals and aims and discerning His divine PURPOSE for our life.
We're not to be vague, thoughtless, and distracted during these days. We can and must discover great guidance and guidelines for living day by day, advancing in the knowledge of His CALLING on our life, possessing the wisdom that God is offering to us.
Paul, in Ephesians 5:15-17, offers the Church a most severe warning: "Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise (sensible, intelligent people), making the very most of the time [buying up each occasion], because the days are evil. Therefore do not be vague and thoughtless and foolish, but understanding and firmly grasping what the will of the Lord is" (AMP).

Question Good morning Father Angelo, I would like to have your advice regarding my current situation. I was raised to be part of my local parish community until the age of eighteen. Until then, I was a faithful christian who certainly committed small sins, but never major ones. At the age of eighteen, I met my current partner. When I reached the age of 30 we started cohabiting. We have two wonderful children, our life is good, nevertheless, since we met I slowly moved away from Christian faith and I no longer attend the Sunday mass. My life significantly changed for the worse: I committed many sins, without even caring for what I was doing. I approached other women, some of them were even married; in short, I live a life far from the principles that God taught us through His Commandments. However, about five years ago, something strange happened to me: I was walking around the city alone, but when I stepped in front of the cathedral I suddenly felt a call, a need to enter the church and talk with God. It was something unexpected, but I decided to enter and to confess. I confessed to God all my sins, the priest said he was very sorry but he could not give me the absolution, even if he saw in me a sincere repentance. He advised me to "regularize my position” (i.e. get married according to the catholic ritual) so that I could have approached the Holy Confession in its fullness, and then receive the Eucharist. That episode created a breakthrough in my life. I started attending the Mass regularly, bringing my children to church, and trying to teach them some easy prayers, even if they do not always collaborate. Finally, my partner and I decided to start the preparation to get married in the Catholic Church. The doubt that currently torments me is: am I worthy to approach this sacrament, considering my past as a sinner? If I cannot approach the sacrament of reconciliation and be absolved due to the current cohabiting situation, how can I properly approach marriage? Honestly, I do not feel it would be right to abandon my two young children in order to live separate from my spouse-to-be until the day of the wedding.  Father, thank you for your patience in reading these letter of mine, Lori Answer from the priest Dear Lori, 1. I cannot stop thanking the Lord for the multitude of conversions he grants to menkind and to his Holy Church. His way of attracting people, sometimes working on their souls day after day, sometimes suddenly, as it did for you, never ceases to amaze me. Saint Paul was gripped by Christ the moment he entered Damascus to persecute Christians. As soon as he heard His voice and His name, he said: “Lord, what can I do for you?”. Something similar has happened to you too. You passed in front of a Cathedral, ignoring the fact that the Lord was there, waiting for you, but He called you through your heart and you walked in. Suddenly, God invaded your soul and your heart. With the presence of the Lord you then felt the need to confess your sins and be purified. How touching is to think about the emotions for all these feelings arousing in you so unexpectedly and in such a short time! You will never forget that day. It will forever stay as one of the greatest days in your life. 2. The priest, as expected, withheld absolution. But he welcomed you. And just as Ananias healed Paul’s blindness and told him what to do next, the priest advised you to "regularize your position" in order to be able to approach the Holy Confession worthily, and then receive the Eucharist. 3. He did not absolve you, but he covered you with the Grace of God, which from that day began to guide your steps on a journey of true conversion in preparation of your Confession, Holy Communion, and the Sacrament of Marriage. With all this, accompanied by sincere repentance of your sins, you’re already living to a certain degree a Communion with God. 4. You ask me whether or not you are worthy to receive the sacrament of marriage considering your past as a si
nner. None of us deserves to live in Communion with God, It is an infinite grace of His mercy. But as Lord called you back to Himself, so He also knows how to renew you and make you shine before His eyes in the same way that the father of the prodigal son clothed the son who had squandered his patrimony by living in a dissolute way. 5. The day before the wedding (or even a few days later) you will go to Confession. You will acquire the sanctifying grace even while living together with your fiancée by avoiding intimacy. You will keep the grace by living those precious days in chastity, the same way that Moses, and all the people before they encountered God on the mount of Sinai and received his Law purified himself, behaved chastely and with supreme devotion. I want to thank you for this beautiful testimony of the Lord's infinite love for you and for your family. I assure you my prayers, certain that many visitors will join me in praying for you. May the grace of the Lord descend abundantly on you, on your future wife, and on your two dear children in the three great sacraments that you will shortly receive: Confession, Holy Communion and Marriage. I wish you a fruitful journey of Christian life and I bless you. Father Angelo November 25, 2019 | A priest answers - Liturgy and pastoral care - Pastoral section
