you ever wake up from sleep thinking “what the fuck does my brain even know how to sleep properly”
#caique posts#went to sleep at 22:00‚ not too different to when we normally go to sleep#wake up at 1:30‚ proceed to oscillate between 30 minute periods of wakefulness and sleep with the two states blurring a lot#until 5:30‚ when our brain decides we’ve had enough sleep despite still being exhausted#so we lay awake‚ exhausted‚ until we fall back asleep around 7:30 and sleep until 10:00#and then somehow wake feeling rested. which doesn’t say a lot as we only feel the slightest bit less tired than when we went to sleep#it just happens so rarely it’s quite notable#like what is our brain thinking???#is it just tossing a coin every half an hour to decide whether we should be asleep or awake?#what’s this mythical unbroken sleep most people seem to have? where they wake up feeling better in the morning????
