Singer-composer Wajid Khan of music director duo Sajid-Wajid, popular for their work on superstar Salman Khan's films such as “Wanted”, “Dabangg” and “Ek Tha Tiger”, died in wee hours on Monday in a city hospital due to coronavirus. The 42-year-old singer had underlying kidney issues.
The music composer duo made their Bollywood debut with Salman's 1998 movie "Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya" and went on to work on actor's various films including “Garv”, “Tere Naam”, “Tumko Na Bhool Payenge”, “Partner” and the popular “Dabangg” franchise.
Wajid also did playback for Salman in chartbusters like "Mera He Jalwa", "Fevicol Se" and for Akshay Kumar in "Chinta Ta Chita Chita" from the film "Rowdy Rathore", among others. He recently co-composed Salman's songs "Pyaar Karona" and “Bhai Bhai”, which the actor released on his YouTube channel.

The actor also shared: "May all of us be blessed with the strength to deal with the pandemic this year. Since we couldn''t release our film this Eid, I have worked on a very special song for all my wonderful fans. It is called ''Bhai bhai'' as it celebrates the spirit of brotherhood and unity. Eid is the best day to release this as it is also the festival that brings people close to each other. I hope people enjoy the song as much as I did while making it for them."
On Eid this year, Salman couldn''t keep his box office date with fans by releasing a new film as he does every year. He was scheduled to release "Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai", co-starring Disha Parani and directed by Prabhu Deva this week. The film promises to be a heavy-duty action entertainer.
Coming back to "Bhai bhai", the video of the song has been shot with minimal crew and resources at the actor''s farmhouse in Panvel, where he has been spending the lockdown days with a few family members and friends.
"Bhai bhai" has been composed by music composer duo Sajid-Wajid while the lyrics have been penned by Salman Khan and Danish Sabri, and the rap portion written by Ruhaan Arshad.
This is the third song that Salman has released during the lockdown after "Pyar karona" and "Tere bina".

Salman Khan can also be seen holding a microphone in the video, as he sings the song. The song has been written by Salman Khan and Danish Sabri. Earlier, Salman Khan had released two songs in lockdown. He released Pyar Karonaand Tere Bina. Tere Bina also featured Jacqueline Fernandez. Speaking of Tere Bina, which was shot only with three people (Salman, Jacqueline and the DOP), Salman Khan told Waluscha De Sousa, "You don't need a hairstylist, you don't need makeup. This was a learning experience for me that three people can very easily shoot a song" He also said, "We faced internet issues in sending the video clips to the editors. Everyone is using wifi. The internet speed was so slow. It used to take us 24-36 hours to download some files. Everything went back and forth for 70-80 times.
