I did my first ballet class since I was a girl yesterday and it felt beyond amazing.

I realized a few years ago that it wasn't that I "can't dance", it's just that I was forcing myself into this fake box of what I believed dancing "should" look like.

But I understand now that dance isn't about that...it's about expression and embodiment and it's beautiful no matter who and no matter how!
