Goku is irritated. And when I say irritated, I mean very irritated. Earlier, while training, he decided he'll surprise you with an unexpected visit he actually wanted to cuddle with you so bad, but when he was home, he did not see you. And he looked everywhere. Checking if you were cooking, were having a bath, or just napping. He even checked in the toilets!! Not finding you made him grumpy. As he ran onto his son, Goten. "Oh! Dad! Aren't you training?" Goten asked him with his usually high-pitched voice. Goku just shook his head as he immediately wanted to ask him where you were. "Hey Goten, where's your mom? I don't see her anywhere!!" Goku spoke in an annoyed tone. "Oh mom? She went shopping with Bulma and C-18!" Goten answered earning a pat from his dad. "Thank you Goten. I owe you one! See ya!" Goku waved as he teleported living a confused Goten. "Why did he wanted to see mom?... Have I done something wrong?" Poor Goten started worrying hoping he won't get yelled at later. Even if he didn't do anything, we never know with you.

"KYAAAAAA!! WHAT THE FUCK !!??" You've screamed earning the attention of Bulma and C-18. They ran towards you and opened the curtain hiding you changing. And they see you, and Goku in a weird and tight position making both of the women yell. "What the fuck?? Care To explain Goku?!" Bulma yelled. Making Goku chuckle. "Yo ! Wanted to see Y/n for a moment!!"Goku explained. Not noticing you being choked in his chest due to the lack of space. "We don't care just release her look she's not breathing" C-18 said. "O-oops. Sorry Y/n hehe..." Goku chuckled getting out of the changing room which made other people seeing you half naked. You immediately closed the curtains, grateful only Women where in this shop. "Can't you warn when you'll join!!?" You've yelled behind the curtains, embatssed that Goku spawned while you were changing. And that some girls you don't know saw your body. "Hehe... Sorry Y/n... But I wanted to see you right now!! I just could not wait anymore!!" Goku explained to you making you sigh in irritation as you open the curtains now fullyclothed. "Well as you can see right now I'm not free to spend time with you. It has been a long time since I saw Bulma and C-18 because of me taking care of your ass." You spoke bluntly making some of the women laugh since they can hear your conversation. "Anyways you should go, this is a shop only allowed to Women. If you don't go away I'll call the security!" You've said wanting him to go as soon as possible. "This isn't kind Y/n!! It makes me feel you don't love me anymore.." He pouted, making his cute sad puppy eyes, that he used when he desperately wanted something. It always works.

"O-ouch that hurts Y/n!!" Goku whine as you drag his ear to the exit of the shop, and throw him outside. "See you this evening." You've said as you walk away, not giving him a chance to say anything. Goku just sighed, disappointed he didn't get to spend time with you right now. "her problem.. I won't allow her leaving the bed tonight.." Goku pouted irritated flying back home. "Hey Y/n... Wasn't that a little too harsh?" C-18 asked you, making both you and Bulma shocked. "What the hell? You're even worse than me and Y/n reunited when it come to Krillin!!" Bulma explained, making C-18 annoyed. "Me and Krillin is another story. Plus I didn't asked you." C-18 said making Bulma irritated as she was about to explode before you interrupted them. "Oh my god shut the fuck up girls!! Look how cute this top is!!" You've said as sparkles appear in your eyes, as you show them this crismon red Henley top, making them gasp. "Oh my god Y/n !!! Are there other colors??! I need it in purple!!" C-18 said in awe "I want it in blue too!!" Bulma exclaimed. "Yup, there are some right there!" You've pointed towards a cute special stand where there was a lot of cute tops and jeans, and Bulma and C-18 both saw the one they've searched for. "Wahhhh!! I'm in love with them! You have such a good eye when it comes to fashion Y/n!!" Bulma said making you Huff in pride. "Hehe now let's go try them on girls!!" C-18 said like a little child, making you both happy and giggling like teenage girls.

At the same time, a bored Saiyan was rolling over your shared King sized bed, whining non-stop about how he's bored. "How could Y/n do this to meee??.... For once I want to spend time with her and she doesn't want to!! Then I'll bet she'll complain when I'll just focus on training again!" Goku's making a fuss to himself like a big ass baby. "What do I do now?... Y/n will probably finish in some hours... But training do not excite me anymore right now..." Goku whines as he get off of the bed, going downstairs, making his way towards the kitchen. Opening the fridge, he sighs as he sees it's dead empty, and there's just one tomato left in there. "Pff...there's nothing else to eat too... I think I'll just nap right now..." Goku gave up searching something to do. Until an idea popped on his head. "Wooh! I bet Y/n won't be able to refuse my deal!! But I need to get money to do this... And Bulma will probably say no..." Goku started to think for the first time in his whole life. And he thought too much his head started burning, making smoke. "Oh!! Right! I still have some left over Zenis I've gained when I worked as a farmer!!" Goku exclaimed proud of his amazing idea, getting ready.

As Goku prepared to put his plan into action, he couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement building inside of him. For once, he would be the one in control in their relationship. He quickly got dressed and slipped on his casual clothes for once because he knows it makes you weak, feeling more confident than ever. As he stepped outside, he couldn't help but imagine the look of surprise and excitement that would undoubtedly appear on your face when you saw him. Now, it was his turn to make you feel happy. With a determined smile on his face, he teleported towards you, eager to start making his plan come to life. "Yo!" Goku said behind you which startled you. "Wahhhh!! Goku I've told you to warn me before appearing!! You scare me every damn time.." You've scolded him once again as he chuckled playfully. But something was off. You looked at him up and down and after 5 minutes of thinking you've realized he was in casual clothes. Which was very rare of him to drop his iconic orange gi.

"Oh? Is today a special day Goku? Why are you dressed like this??" You've asked curious which made Goku smile mischievously. "Since you didn't want to spend time with me earlier, I'm kidnapping you with me on a date!!" Goku said this with pride, which was very cute to see. "So... You're the one paying?" You've asked him smirking. And he nodded. "Alright !! I'll get ready!!" You've exclaimed excited to show him the new dress you bought with your girls earlier. "When do we go? And where do we join?" You've asked Goku which made him frown. "Huh? Why would you want to know that? We're going together right?" Goku said as confusion ran into his non-existant brain. "I want you to see me at the very last moment!! I'll be so gorgeous you'll fall in love with me once more." You've said confidently. "But I'm calling in love with you more everyday already?" Goku said so innocently that almost made you giggle and kicking your feet. But you were not a teenager any more, so you've controlled yourself and only blushed. "W-well it won't stop you to fall in love again." You've said not looking in his onyx eyes. Worried to show your teenager girl side that desperately wants to manifest itself. "Hehe. Fine! But you better be breath-taking!!" Goku smirked challenging you. "Oh yeah?! Challenge accepted!!" And with that, Goku gave you the hour and the place you both will meet up.

When the sun disappeared and the moon appeared, you were surprised to see what Goku has planned was a cute little picnic near a clear lake filled with petals of roses. There he was standing in what seemed a suit, he really wanted to impress you on this one. And it did. The sight was so breath-taking. The way his hair flowed through the wind, the sweet aroma of the roses mixed with the fresh scent of nature, and just the way the candles perfectly lit up the place was perfect. Goku sensed your presence and turned towards you "You're finally here Y/n! I was waiting for-" Goku just stopped talking. You looked ethereal. The way your hair was tied up in a side bun, with a rose to perfectly match your crismon red semi-long dress that flowed through the wind. The last time you saw Goku looking at you this way was the day of your wedding. "Woah.. Y/n.. You look so.. Gorgeous.." Goku struggled to find the perfect words to describe you as he walked towards you, helping you sit down the picnic mat. "So... Did I succeed making you fall in love with me once-more?" You've asked your husband who just responded you by cupping your cheek with a sweet and loving kiss, then saying "Is it possible to marry someone once more time?" he asked innocently making you laugh. "I wish it was. But it's not." You've answered making him pout. "Let's just start eating I'm hungry anyways.." He said. "What did you bring?" You've asked him, curious "I've brought sweets!! But we can always go somewhere else if you want to go-" You've just shushed him with your fingers, enjoying the moment you're both sharing.

On the way home, you've decided to walk around the city a little before just flying back home so the moment will last a little longer. But you both did not expected that this would ruin this perfect date. "Excuse me miss!! May I have a picture with you? You're just so beautiful!!" A child made it's way towards you and politely asked making you melt as you accepted. Goku feeling the warmth of your hand gone, as you had to stop holding his hand to take the picture, made him pout... But that was just the beginning. Immediately when you came back, you were interrupted again. "Hello!! May I ask where you bought your dress? It's beautiful!!" A woman younger than you asked so nicely that you forgot to take Goku's hand. "Of course!! Here I've bought it at "_____" The woman thanked you and made her way towards the shop as you waved her. You've turned towards Goku and spoke. "So what were we talking about-" This time, it was a little girl who interrupted you. She just poked your side shyly and it made you melt once more. "H-here.. Take this rose... It's as beautiful as you..." The little girl shyly said making you blush... "Thank you little one!! That's very cute of you!!" You've thanked her taking the rose in your hands enjoying the nice scent of it. Her mother took her and apologized for her interruption and you've just brushed it off saying it was alright. But it wasn't, for the Saiyan that is starting to get irritated. Pouting and tapping his feet as he's waiting for you to get finished. Just as you were about to come back, other people gave you flowers, coupons for free food at restaurants, (which Goku did not really mind tbh) some asked you how are you so beautiful, and some asked you to join a model agency!

Goku watched as you received flowers, coupons, and compliments left and right. He couldn't help but pout and tap his feet impatiently as he waited for you to finish talking to the people around you. But as soon as he heard you say, "I accept," his heart sank. He knew you had always wanted to be a model, but the thought of you being approached by other men with ulterior motives bothered him. Goku couldn't help but feel a sense of jealousy and possessiveness wash over him. He wanted to keep you all to himself and protect you from any potential threats. "Okay now that's enough.." Goku growled but you didn't hear it. You've finally walked back towards Goku, carrying the flowers and coupons in hand. But before you could say anything, Goku spoke up, his voice filled with irritation. "I can't believe you just accepted to become a model! Did you even think about me? I don't want those men to just ogle at your beautiful body all day!" Goku exclaimed. You tried to reassure him that it was just a one-time opportunity, but Goku just couldn't help but get even more jealous. "I don't care if it's just for one day!" Goku snapped back at you. "I don't want to risk it. I don't want those men looking at your body." Goku started grumbling, crossing his arms. You've sighed, trying to calm him down. "Goku, please understand. This is a one-time opportunity. It's not like I'm going to be a model permanently. And besides, I'd be paid well and we could use the extra money!" You've tried to reason with him, but to no avail. Goku just couldn't shake off his feelings of jealousy. Goku continued grumbling, clearly not happy with the situation. "But what if those men try to make a move on you? What if they try to take advantage of you? I don't want anyone else touching you but me." Goku couldn't help but voice out his insecurities and fears.

You've finally had enough of his possessiveness and jealous behavior. "Goku, enough!! I can take care of myself! Do you really have so little faith in me? Don't you trust me to handle myself in this situation?" You've confronted him, your patience running thin. Goku was taken aback by your reaction. He did trust you, but his jealousy was getting the better of him. "I do trust you, Y/n. But I can't help but feel protective of you. I don't want anyone else touching your body but me." Goku admitted, his possessiveness creeping in again. You've let out a frustrated sigh, feeling overwhelmed by his possessive behavior. "Goku, this is really getting too much. I'm a grown woman and I can handle myself. You need to stop being so possessive and jealous. It's not healthy for our relationship." You've tried to reason with him, hoping he would understand and control his emotions. Despite your attempts to reason with Goku, he refused to listen to reason. His possessive behavior and jealousy continued to take over, making it impossible for him to see things from your perspective. You felt more frustrated and hopeless with every attempt to make him understand, and it seemed like there was no way out of this cycle of jealousy and possessiveness. "Ugh!! I'm done!" You've said walking away making Goku worried "Hey! Where are you going?" Goku asked curiously. "I'll sleep at Bulma's this night. You've pissed me." You've said until you took a Taxi, leaving an irritated Saiyan all alone. He just decided to leave you be, thinking that you're the stubborn one here. He just kept mumbling on his way home that this night was near perfect until strangers ruined it.

The same night, he just couldn't sleep at all. The bed felt empty without your presence. Usually it doesn't mind him when it happens, when he goes training for a long time or just when you go to sleepovers with your friends, but this time? It was... Not the same. It felt cold empty and he hated it. He hated how bitter this night became. So without a second thought, he sensed your Ki, and teleported at Bulma's, in the room she gave you to sleep in. He looked at you, sleeping calmly, as if nothing happened. And as of you do not miss Goku's presence while he did missed yours. "Gosh... How can she acts as if nothing ha happened?.." Goku complained joining you into the bed and taking you in his arms and nuzzled in your neck. With you in his arms, he fell asleeo with ease and looked like a big fat ass baby. He also kept mumbling in his sleep things like" You're mine" "There's no way I'm meeting you go there." "No photoshoots we'll stay together today." He's the cutest. But won't hesitate to take advantage of his strength to lock you in his arms so you won't leave him.

Goku x Vegetas Daughter

"Y/N" Trunks called out into the forest where his elder sister was busy training. "You sure she's here Trunks?" Goten asked also in search of his sister figure "KAHMEHAMEHAAA" there was a yell off in the distance and a large blast followed "FOUND HER" both boys perked up at the sound. They where quick to take off into the air following the destruction that was left behind. "Okay that was awesome, but you have to make sure you use you hips more when you send it" The boys landed next to her and Goten's father. "Ah dad, what are you guys doing?" Goten asked with Goku standing there with his hands on Y/N's hips showing her the movement he wanted her to do. "Oh Goten, Trunks Hey guys" Goku smiled brightly and released Y/N hips. "I was showing Y/N how to get more power behind her Kahmehamha" Y/N stood straight and looked up at Goku. "Thanks for the training session, Dad refuses to help me with my form" She said bowing in thanks. "It's not a problem at all, always a pleasure when it's just the two of us" Goku brought her into a side hug, his arm slung over her shoulder.  "Oh yeah, Mom said the feast is ready, she said we're just waiting on you Goku" Trunks remembering as to why they where there. "OH YEAH, I'm starving, come on Y/N we better not keep them waiting" Goku was already in the air the two youngsters following suit. "Oh um a-actually, Mom said she doesn't want to see Y/N right now" Trunks frowned as he told his sister what their mother had said "WHAT but Y/N had a full day of training and she's hungryyyyy" Goku wined at the information. "Dad maybe it's best if we leave her, m-mom not happy you've been spending so much time with her either" Goten said. He was trying to keep his farther out of the dog house. "but, Y/N, are you?" Goku was so sad, Him and Y/N where like best friends, they battled, hangout, and even took the boys training together all the time "Oh it's okay Goku, go eat I'm sure you're hungry. Plus I'm um mm Fasting thats right, a cleanse" She lied, she knew he would offer to stay or bring her food but that would only get him in trouble with his Wife. "You sure, I could" "No no go enjoy, I'll be here like always" she smiled and ushered them to leave. "Well okay, I guess we better go then" and with that the boys took off heading towards Collapse corp.  "Dad you have to stop running off with Y/N" Goten complained " Yeah Goku, Mrs.ChiChi thinks you're cheating with my sister" Trunks complainant as he circled to the other side of Goten. "WHAT, that's insane, sure Y/N is sweet and really pretty and a great fighter but I love ChiChi, it's just nice having someone to hang with that can match my energy" Goku confessed while looking back "She makes me feel normal, you know?" He look back forward. "I get it dad we love Y/N too but nobody else does" Goten felt so sad whenever discussing her. "But i just don't understand, She kind, smart, powerful, and just perfect" Trunks defended his sister. "I agree Trunks, there has to be more to her and Vegeta's history then what we have been told" Goku face changed to one of determination "and I think we need to find out" "Yeah, lets do it" the boys where more than excited to find out why their beloved sister was hated so much. "I thinks we've been left out of the loop and I want in" Goku said "ALRIGHT OPERATION UNCOVER IS A GO" Trunks cheered before they began their decent to the ground. 

"GOKU WERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN?" Goku was already saddened by his wife's voice. "AHAH ChiChi hey, I've just been training with Y/N" Goku said a light sweat forming. "WHAT HAVE I SAID ABOUT THAT BITCH" Chichi ignited with straight furry. "She's a whore who just wants in your pants" she glared at Goku, If only looks could kill. "HEY, DON'T SAY THAT ABOUT MY SISTER" Trunks desperately wanted to defend his sister but he was never allowed to. "TRUNKS" Bulma holler walking in with Vegeta "What have I said about calling that THING you sister" Vegeta scolded him. "I,- DAD SHE'S YOUR KID" Trunks was almost in tears "He's right Mr.Vegeta" Goten intervened "Goten, shush" ChiChi was quick to silence him. The boys always argurded about Y/N especially Trunks, He loved her deeply but today a new voice intervened.  "You know Vegeta, I've always wondered how Y/N came to be" Goku pushed the conversation on. "I've already told ya, She was a Fling back when I was working with Frieza" "Right but that doesn't explain why you hate her" Gohan was now involved. He had always been fawn of the girl, but his mother had forbidden him from talking with her as they grew up. "I never asked for her, she nothing but a burden that is utterly useless to me" Vegeta set the cup he was holding down. "Plus she's far to weak to actually be my child" he had a smug look on his face. "Naw I don't think so Vegeta, She's really strong. I've seen it myself" Goku was determined to defend her as much as he could "ARE YOU CALLING ME A LIAR KAKAROT?" Now Vegeta was enraged. So Bulma stepped in "Now boys please, Goku you know we don't accept Y/N because she is nothing but a danger, and Vegeta said her mother was rather hot headed meaning she could explode at any minute" "But Vegeta's hot headed, why is Y/N any different?" Gohan asked. He has never truly accepted their reasons but he had always respected them being thats how he was raised. "BECAUSE Y/N'S MOTHER WAS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS" Bulma yelled in anger her veins showing and pulsing. "Damn Bulma cool your tits" Goku was surprised by her sudden outburst. "Kakarot just drop it" Vegeta warned. "No" for once Goku was taking his stand. Y/N is very dear to him and He wants to know why they should hate her. "GOKU" ChiChi was surprised by her husbands serious tone. "Kakarot" "Y/N is very dear to me, she's one of my best friends and both her and I deserve an explanation as to why she's hated" Goku was stern with his voice "So do they because they love her" He said pointing to Trunks and Goten. "Kakarot" Vegeta interrupted in a much softer tone. "ARE YOU CHEATING ON CHICHI?" Bulma threw out a rather large accusation "WHAT" "I KNEW IT GOKU, YOU'RE ALWAYS OFF WITH HER" Tears where running down her face it's like the women could cry on command. "TELL ME DO YOU FUCK HER? HUH YOUR BEST FRIENDS KID? DISGUSTING MAN, SHE'S LIKE A CHILD!!" Chichi was balling and hyperventilating. She was angry one second and now shes this. Goku was so confused "WHY WOULD YOU ASSUME THAT?" then it clicked,  Goku was suddenly very aware of what was going on. Bulma and ChiChi were hiding something and they created a scene to cover it up pinning him as the villain. "THAT'S NOT FAIR, ACCUSING ME OF SOMETHING LIKE THAT!" Goku tried to defend himself but as he looked at his friends for support, all eyes where on him with nothing but hate. "I think, I thinks you've done enough damage" 18 said coming to hold ChiChi.

"What, I-I didn't do" Goku was cut off by a swift punch from Krillin. "Goku, I thought you where better than that". The emotion that Goku felt was so unreal, How could they not even let him defend himself, and even worse think so little of Y/N. "Fine, I'll leave, But don't come calling for me to save you" Goku hovered above the ground doing one last look through the group. He saw a distraught Vegeta, as is he was regretting something. He didn't stick around to listen tho, a quiet goodbye and with that Goku left, flying back to the only comfort he was guaranteed to always have . Y/N. "DAD/GOKU WAIT" the young boys got ready to follow before they where intercepted by their mothers. ChiChi held Goten close crying about how she was betrayed and heart broken and how she needed comfort from her son, her child who she knew loved her. "M-Mom let go, HOW COULD YOU DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT" the sudden energy spike from Goten surprised her and she released. She was expecting him to listen like he always did but he retaliated.  " Y/N is very kind and Dad loves you, H-how could you" Goten had tears in his eyes now, "Come on Trunks let's go" Goten pulled Trunks out of Bulma's grasp. "Trunks you leave, you'll be in deep shit" Vegeta threatened. Trunks looked at his parents right in the eyes and said, "Makes sure it's so deep I'm at the same level as you" They then took off to the sky in pursuit of Goku. 

As Goku landed in the forest, he was quick to start his search. "Y/N" He yelled. He walked aimlessly for a good minute till "You won't find her like that" a voice spoke from behind him "Boys!?" He was surprised to see both Trunks and Goten. "You boys should go home, They hate me, no need for them to hate you too" Goku had a look of utter defeat, like his whole world just came crashing down. Which is kinda did in a sense, Lost his Wife, Home, his friends and all because their was a damn secret that 'had' to be kept. "Dad, w-what happened back their wasn't your fault for once, t-that was just scary" Goten admitted beneath his breath. "Yeah Goku, that wasn't right" For the first time in forever Goku felt like crying. He was genuinely heartbroken. Sure he married ChiChi because she tricked him at first but he came to tolerate her enough to considerate love and he loves their two wonderful kids. Then his best friend that he grew up with, was the one that accused Him of being the cheater. She's known him the longest and to think she thought so little of him "Trunks, d-do you know where Y/N is, I really need her" Goku was so defeated that he was admittedly asking for help, he was on the verge of begging for it. "Y-yeah" Trunks began to lead them. It genuinely scared the boys to see Goku, the worlds savior like that, hollow almost life less. He was stripped of almost all his will to fight, he even left without eating. "She has a house she built, it's huge too" Trunks was almost bragging about it. Making an attempt to brighten the mood "But you need to have a secret code to find it" he walked right up to the mountain wall and began to feel around.

"Trunks?" "FOUND IT" Trunks interrupted Goten. "Dear the gods" he began. "My family is not always my blood," Trunks took a breath "bless the all father, This mask has seen life through death, this is a honor" as he finished the wall began to shake, splitting in the middle and forming into the shape of a door. "Come on, there's not long till it closes" Trunks rushed the other two in after him. "TRUNKS IS THAT YOU?" Y/N voice came from somewhere within the house. "YEAH AND GOTEN AND GOKU" He hollered informing his sis of the extra guests " Ah Goku, Goten, I just finished Dinner" Y/N had came from the stairway down the hall. She was dressed for bed in her Bowser P.J pants and a black tank-top. "Welcome, I could sense you guys, sorry I just got out the shower" She apologized while trying to dry her dripping hair. "Ah it's no problem Y/N, just glad you could have us" Goku smile was back but it wasn't as bright as it usually was. Y/N was quick to notice, and seeing his slight red eyes told her everything she needed to know. "Hey boys, why don't you go set up the guest room, I'm assuming your staying the night?" Y/N knew the answer but she just want confirmation. "Yep, is that okay?" Goten asked while Trunks was already up the stairs. Y/N bent down to Goten height, "Of course baby, go help Trunks tho, sleep over" she did little jazz hands to emphasize her excitement. "THANKS Y/N, I LOVE YOU" Goten was quick to hug her then sprint up the stair in tow of Trunks. Y/N smiled but it faded as she adjusted her view onto the man who had settled in on the couch. "Goku, you okay?" Y/N was caution, this was new territory for her. "Have you ever fucked up so bad that your life fell apart?" Goku voice was nothing more than a whimper. Goku cursing surprised her slightly. "You know I'm a fuck up" Y/N sat next to Goku, opening her arms for him. He was quick to fall into them. "Y/N, tell me, why are you hated?" "I-uh, I really shouldn't say m-my farther will be mad" Y/N had made a promise to keep their history private. Even though he hated her, she still respected him. "Y/N, I-I lost everything..." Goku took a shaky breath in.  Wide eyed Y/n ran her finger through his spiky hair. "Goku, what happened?" her whispered voice sent a calming chill down his spine. "ChiChi and Bulma accused me of cheating with you, and then everyone turned against me. my friends, my wife, my best friend, everyone" Goku finished with a hiccup. He adjusted so he was now laying on her lap "But, why, you do so much for them" She felt tears, did this really happen and why would they turn so fast? "They where mad I was with you, then they stared saying bad things about you, a-and I wanted to defend you but then I asked what happened in your past, that's when it all went down hill" small tears striped down her face. 'did he really risk everything for me?' she thought to herself. She felt horrid, she would hate to lose Goku but if it was his happiness or hers "Goku, I'm not worth your happy life, just apologize and then promise to never see me again, that should fix it" She wanted him to be happy, the people who love her where always suffering because of her. She didn't want that. "Goku you have a wonderful family, wife, friends, if they don't want anything to do with me then leave me, I'm not worth all your happiness" Y/N grew up being told she was worthless, she didn't want Goku to waste his life on her. "You know Y/N thats really selfish of you" He was now staring right at her, feeling her tears drip onto his cheeks fusing with his own, "My life is amazing because you're in it, You're my best friend Y/N, life without you this wouldn't be as fun" He smiled up at her, a real smile. "Oh Goku, you are my best friend too, and I" She was interrupted by the pitter patter of feet running down the stairs. "Y/N, WE FINISHED" Trunks yelled, in search of her, " Yeah can we eat now?" Goten asked finding them sitting on the couch.

"Oh, I'm guessing you told her?" Goten asked seeing both of them crying, he was scared but he did what he felt was right, however "D-Dad, where are we going to live?" Goten had come to that realization while setting up the bed, He didn't want to go back home and he knew they where searching for them. "Umm I'm not sure yet buddy but we'll figure it out" Goku only hoped to calm his poor son who was trapped in the middle of this whole mess. "What do you mean figure it out? The answer seem pretty clear to me" Y/N said removing Goku from her lap and standing to comfort the boy. "Here obviously, I have enough room as long as Trunks is okay with bunking?" She looked over at her brother for approval. "HELL YEAH, I GET AN ACTUAL SIBLING" Trunk would be more than happy to share, especially with Goten. "Goku, you can take my bed tonight since the other room isn't ready yet" Y/N picked both Trunks and Goten up and made her way to the kitchen "No no I'll take the couch, really" Goku was not usually one to give up a good sleep but at the moment he felt like he should. "Goku, my wonderful monkey alien, you have had a long night, please take the bed and rest up" She set the boys down and began to plate their dinner. "Y/N you are to good to us, also I thought you where fasting?" Goku only now realized that she had made a feast. "I uh  Iliedbecuaseiknewyouwouldinsiteonstayingwithme" She said really fast, Goku only being able to catch lie. "really, Y/N?" He had a fake pout. "Oh shush, eat up and then go shower and off to bed" She set the plates on the table and allowed the boy to got to work. "THANKS FOR THE FOOD" they said before digging in.

"Y/N, the waters getting cold" Goten complained from the tub he was sitting in. "That means baths over boys, time to get out" Y/N unplugged the drain and set two towel for the boy on the toilet sink. "okay, dry up, P.J's on then we'll hang and then bed. Deal?" She question while heading out the door. "DEAL" both yelled as the door shut behind her. "Okay boys bathed, me bathed, now to check in on Goku" she made her way towards her bedroom which was currently the temporary home for the hero. "GOKU" she knocked on the door, waiting for a response. "Yeah, come on in" once she got her reply she enterned, and found the man snuggled up in her bed, tucked in nice and cozy. "I see you're comfy" she laughed a little. "Very," he said with a smile " alright get some sleep, I'm gonna put the boys to bed, if you need me I'll be on the couch" She left him quietly and shut the door behind her.

Not to long after that the boys where tucked in their bunks and sound asleep. Y/N settled herself on the couch with a blanket and pillow, slowly drifting into sleep. Being tired from the training and emotional stress. That is until heavy foot steps echoed. Y/N could only guess who's steps those could be, not even asking question she called out to him. "Goku, everything okay?" She look towards the hall to see the man rubbing his eyes, standing only in sweatpants. The site made Y/N blush slightly but she quickly got rid of it after looking at his face. "Hey um, c-can you sleep next to me?" He sounded almost scared. "I-it's weird not feeling energy next to me a-and yeah" He sounded so shy but Y/n didn't hesitate, in all honestly she had always loved Goku but she didn't want to fuck up his wonderful relationship, so she kept all emotions at bay. "you sure?" she was willing of course, however not wanting to take advantage of him in anyway. "Yeah, that would help" He grabbed her hand and began to walk with her back up to the bedroom. As they passed the many room, a soft but shaken voice rang through the silence, "Y-Y/N?" Both looked back to see Goten holding the hand of Trunks who was half asleep peeking out from behind a door. " I uh I kinda had a nightmare, c-can we sleep with you guys?" He whispered cautious of the half asleep boy beside him.  "Oh Goten come on not bud, you're to old for this" Goku knew ChiChi would always comfort Goten, allowing him to sleep with them. But he did not want to cause anymore trouble than he already was. "Oh Hush Goku, Of course Goten my bed is big enough for the 4 of us" Y/N was quick to pick both boys up and carry them to the bedroom with Goku in close tow. As they all cuddled down together, for the first time all day, Goten and Goku felt comfort and safety. "Good night boys sweet dreams" Y/N gave each a kiss on their head. "Good night Y/N, we love you" Goten said slowly drifting to sleep.  "Y/N, thank you for everything" Goku said bringing her closer "Of course Goku" "I love you Y/N" He said also drifting. "I-good night Goku" Y/N knew she couldn't say it back because she would not mean it in the same way he did. 

After that night the boys moved in with Y/N. ChiChi and Goku got divorce a few months later after trying to work things out. With Y/N'S help Goku won custody over Goten, which he was thankful for but it was messy.  They agreeded that Goten was free to visit when ever he wanted, which was very little. Bulma was still mad at Trunks so Vegeta allowed him to stay with Y/N already annoyed with Bulmas increase in bitchy attitude. Some things went back to normal, Goku and Vegeta began to train together again, making sure to avoid Bulma. But other than that everything changed. Everyone basically Blacklisted Goku, Goten, and Trunks. ChiChi and Bulma continue to spread lies about Y/N and Goku's affairs. However The 4 accused where living rather peacefully, Y/N was going to college, taking some advice from Gohan and started studying Law, she also took on a part time job to help with food and everything. Goten and Trunks mostly stayed home and were doing online school. Even Goku got a part time job, he worked at a meat factory, perfect for him with all the heavy lifting and 'punching bag' as he had called the hanging meat. He was happy that he got to pick the job he wanted. However, all the peacefulness went out the door when an invitation was deliver to Goku by Gohan to a certain women's birthday part. WIP Wednesday!

“And this is where Cooler has taken Trunks?” “Yes.” “Why here? What is this system?” Vegeta takes a breath. “Qo’nos,” he growls. “Qo… What?” “The star,” he nods at the chart. “Qo’nos.” “You know this star?” “Yes.” Bulma slows the ship down as they pass the outer planets of the system and pulls up the charts on the secondary monitor. “Good to know I won’t have to come up with a name for this once I describe it. A moon with a breathable atmosphere to the third planet? Is there life on it?” “No developed life. Only minor organisms are native to it.” “The readings indicate some kind of debris between the fourth and fifth planets,” Bulma notes, studying the monitors. “Like Earth’s asteroid belt but more like … dust. Nothing larger than a car.” She turns when Vegeta makes that growling noise again. Cold shivers run down her spine. He has his teeth bared. His gloved hands are gripping at his knees. Goten whines softly and walks up to Bulma with one of the sofa cushions in his arms. “Vegeta … what’s going on? What place is this?” When she gets no reply Bulma concentrates on the readings. She analyzes the rest of the system. Qo’nos is not unlike the sun; a yellow dwarf of similar size. Bulma counts eleven planets of various sizes in its orbit. She squints at the debris field again. Space dust, nothing more. Then she calculates the mass and movement of the fourth and fith planet. Something about the distance between them doesn’t add up. They’re too far apart. Between them there should be… Another planet. Slowly, realization dawns on her. It's not just dust. “It’s the remains of a planet,” she whispers. Cold sweat drenches the back of her shirt. She feels nauseous. Vegeta knew where they were going all along.

Dragon Ball Super Manga Ch. 94-96

We're still reading the Super Hero adaptation! It's not great!

Things continue pretty much like they did in the movie, although it's a little awkward how Chapter 94 opens with Pan waiting to get picked up from school, just like she was in Chapter 91, because Toyotaro wanted to show Piccolo doing a "normal" kindergarten pickup as a prelude to the story. And that might have seemed like a good idea on paper. You know, contrast a routine encounter with the zany scene we got in the movie. The problem is that it undermines the zany scene when we finally get to it. The whole point is that a "normal" version isn't that interesting to see, which is why they didn't show Gohan cooking breakfast or Dr. Hedo brushing his teeth in the movie.

Anyway, you read chapter 91 and it feels like they skipped to the middle of the movie because Pan's waiting at kindergarten. Then you get to Chapter 94 and you see Pan waiting at kindergarten again and think the story is starting over. Or was it preschool? The manga version has a sign over the property that reads "kindergarten", but Pan's only three so I don't know. Piccolo knocked her into a bunch of rocks earlier in the day, and now he's taking her home with a layover at Red Ribbon HQ, so the point of all of this is that nothing is really ever "normal" with Dragon Ball.

Back to the manga, Toyotaro drags out this scene by having a cop take notice of the Red Ribbon aircraft, but he immediately decides it's okay once he finds out it's for Mr. Satan's granddaughter. This might be the same cop who helped Goku find Bulma's house for the first time in the original Red Ribbon Army Saga, but I'm not interested in looking it up.

So once again, Toyotaro seems determined to cram in new material to this story, but it's always designed to be as dull as possible, answering questions no one asked. Why didn't Piccolo get a ticket for the aircraft being parked on the street? For the zero people who were concerned about this, Toyotaro heroically includes a traffic cop whose sole purpose is to remind us that it doesn't actually matter.

Chapter 94 continues up to the first leg of the Gohan/Gamma 1 fight. There's some changes to the fight choreography, but I'm not gonna do a side-by-side analysis or anything. It pretty much has to be different because of the medium involved. I'm pretty sure Gohan firing a Kamehameha is new, as is Gamma 1 shooting at him to counterattack. But I could be wrong.

While Gohan powers up to his Ultimate/Mystic/Elder Kai Unlock form, Krillin's family is just getting out of the movie theater where they watched Cleangod 2. I mentioned this scene before, but now that we're here, this is Teen Marron's only appearance in Dragon Ball Super, and here's the big pitch for the character: She's a huge fan of Cleangod. Just like Goten! And Trunks. And... Dr. Hedo. I'm not impressed.

Krillin senses Gohan fighting, then he gets a call from Police HQ.

For some reason, Krillin runs off and hides while he takes the call? Are people not supposed to know he's a cop? Everyone keeps staring at him the whole time, so if he's trying to keep this a secret, he's doing a lousy job of it. Also, when 18 asks him who he's talking to, she doesn't seem to believe his answer, so she insists on tagging along with him. Does... 18 not know Krillin's a cop? What is going on here?

The dumbest part of all of this is that Nutz is calling Krillin to tell him about the battle at the Red Ribbon Army base. Remember how she had Krillin follow Magenta and Hedo in Chapter 91? Because they knew Magenta had a secret base but they didn't know where it was? And then Krillin lost them before he could find it?

Okay, so apparently the police had suspected that it was in that crater lake, camouflaged by a hologram. In fact, they've suspected this for so long that they've been monitoring the lake with cameras, and when Gohan went ultimate he disrupted the hologram and revealed the base. Now they want Krillin to reconnoiter the area before they send in a bunch of guys.

This is just really dumb. I mean, if the police suspected the base was inside the lake, why didn't they just send Krillin to check it out in the first place? He could have gone there months ago, and if it was just a lake, the worst thing that would have happened is he'd get wet. But if it was a secret mercenary base, he could have just snuck in and out as easily as Piccolo did in this story. It would have been even easier, since Krillin's less conspicuous than Piccolo, and the Red Ribbon wouldn't have had Hedo's androids for support. Hell, Krillin could have taken out the entire base by himself, and all they had to do was send him to the lake that they were already monitoring.

Also, why is it the West City Police Department's job to bust the Red Ribbon Army? Isn't that a job for the Royal Military? None of this makes any sense. I mean, the purpose is to add more Krillin content to the story, but it's so forced that it becomes nonsensical. The movie makes so much more sense without the police involved at all. Again, it's another question that no one asked. "Why didn't the police find the Red Ribbon Army's hidden base?" Because it's a hidden base, that's why not!

Toyotaro seems almost desperate to give these fictional cops a chance to save face. Well they were trying very hard to locate the base, but they just couldn't find it before Piccolo did. Except his depiction of their efforts just makes them look worse. Sergeant Nutz seems to know everything about the Red Ribbon Army. She knew Magenta was secretly rebuilding it, she knew he was planning to contact Dr. Hedo, and when he would do it. She was even pretty sure where the Red Ribbon base was. Yet despite all this inside information, she still couldn't figure out how to respond to it.

All of this makes it look like a set up to explain Krillin showing up at the end of the movie, except, no, that's not what happens. He shows up at the end because Bulma calls him and tells him what's happening. Toyotaro saw the movie and thought: "No! That's not enough! We need three reasons for Krillin to go to the lake!"

1. He senses Gohan's ki from the battle. 2. Sgt. Nutz calls him and tells him to go check out the base. 3. Bulma calls him and tells him Piccolo is at the base.

Is that enough? Does Krillin have sufficient motivation to go yet? I'm not sure, let's throw in some more reasons.

4. Krillin is visited by the ghost of the pirates from that underwater cave. The ghost tells him that the Red Ribbon stole his treasure and hid it in the lake, so he pleads with Krillin to recover it so the pirates can rest in peace. 5. Marron really wants to check out the crater lake, becuase Cleangod 2 had a scene that was filmed there. 6. Vegeta briefly pops in using his manga-only Instant Transmission. He asks Krillin to check on a three-layer cake he ordered from the bakery, but Krillin mishears him and thinks he said "crater lake". 7. The Supreme Kai of Time deputizes Krillin into the Time Patrol and informs him of a temporal anomaly at the crater lake. 8. Krillin was going there anyway because it's on his way home.

Back to the fight, not much is different, although there's a brief moment where Piccolo coaches Gohan before they resume fighting their respective opponents. This is kind of redundant, because they both already understood they were fighting androids, and they're already in their strongest forms (as far as they know), so Piccolo is just stating the obvious here. At least he isn't telepathically summoning Krillin to get his butt over here. Piccolo actually trusts the plot of this movie.

The Gammas aren't quite as powerful in this version, so 2 has to give a little assist to 1, then they consider double-teaming Piccolo to improve their chances. This doesn't last long, though, since it's not like Gohan was just going to stand there and let Piccolo get beat down.

At Capsule Corp, Bulma starts assembling a squad to help Piccolo, and is surprised to learn that Trunks already knows about Dr. Hedo. She asks him why he never mentioned any of this before, and finally, finally, Toyotaro has come up with a question someone might have actually asked. Why didn't Trunks tell Bulma about all of this? Because he would have gotten in trouble for playing superhero, and also because Bulma wouldn't have taken his story seriously even if he had said anything.

So Bulma admits that she goofed, but now she ungrounds Trunks (and Goten, since he just showed up), and she wants them to join Piccolo in battle.

But she immediately regrets it, because Goten and Trunks can't pinpoint Piccolo's location with their ki senses. And this is Big Goten in a nutshell. The boys are eager to get in on the action, but they lack the skill and focus to be effective. They're basically the opposite of what Gohan was in his childhood. Gohan was constantly caught between adventure and study, and he ended up excelling in both things. But Goten and Trunks really don't get pushed hard in either direction. They don't have much motivation to study, and they're not very good at adventure stuff either. Bulma's giving them a chance to be heroes and they're blowing it.

Anyway, she calls Piccolo, and when he doesn't answer, she calls Krillin, which is the canonical reason they all show up together at the end of the story.

Oh, and here's an awesome shot of Cell Max. I can't stress this enough: The art in this thing is tremendous, but the writing is just dull as can be. Everything's either a rerun or a pointless filler scene.

When Cell Max crawls out to fight all the good guys, Goten and Trunks offer to give Piccolo and Gohan a breather, and they switch to their Saiyaman X-1 and X-2 suits. Pan's into it, but everyone else find it dumb. I guess Marron should have come along and maybe she'd enjoy this...

DBZ: Waves of Freedom Chapter 1: Where The Land Meets The Sea

Our story begins in the coastal city of Scalefall Bay, the very place where land and sea meet in perfect unison. But within the urban jungle, a tale of adventure and the pursuit of freedom will begin.

In a stuffy apartment near Scalefall Bay’s biggest company, Empire Oil Drilling Corporations, a young employee groggily sat up and walked over to the closet where a monochrome work suit lay. “Guess it’s time I start another day at work…”, he said to himself, taking out a hairbrush and combing through his jet black locks. Vegeta knew that this would be another work day at the oppressive Empire Oil Drilling Corps, with him straightening his tie for work and placing on his formal shoes, followed by him pacing out of the apartment he called home and onto the sidewalks.

But unbeknownst to Vegeta, miles off the coast of the city he dwelled in was something else entirely- a realm that even he couldn’t comprehend. For beneath the waves, a race of beings known as the merpeople lived in a society quite like our own, and if they ever felt like it, a merperson could shapeshift their tail into legs if they ever felt the need to walk the earth- and that’s exactly what one young merman decided to do. “Goku, Just please, be careful, and be back home soon, ok?”, said a mermaid as she flicked her tail, that being of a purple and gold Asian arowana fish, while her purple embroidered top flowed with the current. “Of course, Chi Chi! I’ll be back as soon as I can!”, Goku replied as he made his way to the surface from his home in the undersea city of Atlantis, his two sons waving goodbye to their father. “See you in a bit, dad!”, replied the older, Gohan as he placed down a waterproof book. “Bring back something from the surface!”, the younger, Goten, said as he picked up a hermit crab in his hands. Both of them shared their father’s sunset orange fins, and as their father breached the surface, he took in a moment to witness the morning sunlight bursting through the clouds. “Man, I’ve never been here before… and I’ve gotta pick up some stuff… but first, I’ve gotta find a place where I can shapeshift!”

Goku immediately spotted a safe area behind a large rock. As he concentrated on shapeshifting, an ethereal light enveloped him instantly, and he felt his tail split and instantly change into masculine human legs, as well as his clothing materializing into being. “Now that is better. Now to finally get some stuff for my family.”, he said as he laced up his shoes before heading into the fray as a human being. At the same moment, Vegeta was walking towards the headquarters of Empire Oil Drilling, pondering over what his future could be like. Another day at Frieza’s workplace… Man, if only he could give me a break for once! He thought to himself as he walked onwards into the black and white landscape. The scent of the nearby Seabreeze was the only thing keeping him sane that morning as he walked through the front doors of the building, not knowing he’d encounter someone who’d change his life for the better. Before he knew it, he was walking onto his office floor and sitting in a cramped office cubby with almost no room to spare, save for a window that provided a view of the nearby ocean, which made him long for the waves even more. In fact, Vegeta hated his job at Empire Oil Drilling Corps more than anything. He felt like a small fish trapped inside a fishbowl that was no way suitable for him, and he longed for the freedom that was the ocean.

After a very long and exhausting day at work, while everyone else went home to spend time with their loved ones, Vegeta immediately headed for the one place where he felt at home the most- the sea. When suddenly, he accidentally bumped into Goku, carrying various items for his family beneath the waves. “Hey! Watch where you’re going!”, he snapped, before coming back to his senses. “Wait… who are you, and why have I never seen you before?”, Vegeta questioned. “Nevermind who they call me. I’ve gotta get home.”, said Goku as he made his way towards the water- with all of his clothes on! Vegeta watched in amazement as Goku stepped into the ankle deep water, placed the tote bags of his land finds aside, and the water around him immediately began to turn a golden color. Without warning, the golden water enveloped the young man in an instant, and he began to transform back into his true form. “Wait… What the hell’s going on…?!”, Vegeta replied, trying as hard as he could to block out the flash of light. As the young businessman watched, Goku’s clothes disintegrated into bubbles, his legs began to grow scales of orange, gold, and sunset, and his feet lost their shape and flattened into two perfect fins. As his entire lower body fused at the thighs and ended at the former ankles, there was no doubt that the man Vegeta had met mere moments earlier was a merman- and a real one at that. In a brilliant flash of light, the golden whirlpool dissipated, leaving Goku sitting in the ankle deep water with a gorgeous merman tail the color of the sky at sunset. Vegeta couldn’t contain his amazement. “Y-You’re a merman… A real merman!”, he cried.

At those words, Goku turned around in shock. Nobody had ever caught him in his merman form- until now. “Well, I guess it seems so!”, he said as he perched on a rocky outcrop, and Vegeta followed him towards it. “Sorry if I startled you. I’m Vegeta, employee of Empire Oil Drilling Corps over there.”, replied Vegeta as he sat down on the damp rocks, not caring that his pants got soaked- he knew that they would dry out. “Well, the name’s Goku. I’m actually a merman from the Sector of Atlantis known as Mazu’s Harbor!”, replied the orange tailed siren as he stretched out his fishtail after many long hours of walking on land. “A-A merman, eh? Well, do you actually lure sailors to their deaths with your super awesome looks and clear voices?”, questioned Vegeta as he ran his fingers through his hair. “Hehe! You’re actually mixing us up with sirens. They do that more than we merpeople do.”, replied the merman as he flicked his fins in the afternoon sun. “And are you utterly obsessed with your own appearance, to say the least?”, Vegeta questioned again. “Well, it’s actually the humans who are more into that. We value others for who they are instead.”, Goku chirped as he dipped his tail in the water.

The conversation between them dragged on long until the sun began to set in the sky. “Well, I’d better get back home- Chi Chi’s not gonna be happy about me being gone for this long, and so are Gohan and Goten.” Goku said, taking the tote bags in his hands and immediately preparing to dive into the ocean. “Wait! Kakarot! Who are those people you mentioned?!” Vegeta shouted as his new friend resurfaced. “Those are my family members! And I hope that you can meet them one day!”, Goku said as he disappeared beneath the waves, his bright orange merman tail helping him cut through the water. Vegeta smiled as he looked towards the waves, then immediately went straight to his apartment. Unbeknownst to him, he would end up going through so much more than he thought.

Their encounter with each other was only just a small ripple that would grow into something that would change their lives forever.

Goku — It's a girl!

He is a coddler, always ready to take care of her. He wants to do everything for the baby, hold her everywhere they go, push her stroller, fill quiet spaces with her giggles, take bubble baths together, and play with her every second of the day. Goku will jump to do anything she needs. Except maybe change her diaper. But he won't put up a fuss if he has to do it. Nap times are hard for him but he understands the importance of your baby needing her sleep. Sometimes he falls asleep watching her if he's 100% sure it's safe. It's a miracle when they wear themselves out and nap together. He tends to get antsy if he's away from her for too long. He will use the phone Bulma gave him to call you so he can talk to her when he misses her (unfortunately it doesn't work in outer space). It's only natural that once she starts to show signs of her power he's going to want to start training her, but will wait until she's old enough to talk and walk before really pushing for it. You keep little reminders around the kitchen of how much she is allowed to eat at a time to prevent overfeeding her, but sometimes Goku gives her just a little extra. A child of his must have a healthy appetite just as he does.

If existing siblings: Goten is just another Goku, very playful with his little sister and tries to show her all the games he and Gohan use to play when he was little. Gohan around his time is busy with school/work, but when he does come around he joins in on the old games. He will offer to babysit her to give you and Goku a break, also so Videl can spend time with her too. Expect some training to really start by the time she's 4 or 5.

Cons- Goku is not helpful at night or if the baby is ill. Goku is a heavy sleeper, by the time his brain reacts to the baby crying in the middle of the night, you've already got a handle on it. He will at least stay up to help where he can as he is sympathetic to her crying. But if she is sick, then he's not sure what medicine he is supposed to give her or if she has to go to the hospital.

Vegeta — It's a girl!

His baby is a clinger. Strong, little hands that hold onto everything and don't do well with separation. Of course Vegeta cares for his child but tends to be hesitant actually holding her because of it and the fuss that follows when he pries her hands off. But he will still hold her every time, getting used to his ear and the skin of his cheek being pulled. It excites him knowing that his baby girl has this kind of natural strength and can only imagine what kind of latent power she'll develop as she grows. If she's only half-saiyan, he is the one who makes the call to remove her tail while she's still young. It's a bittersweet decision, but he knows it's a safety precaution for her and you. Definitely one to brag about his baby. Vegeta actually panics if the baby is sick or if she has a small fall that bumps her head and will take it out on others regardless of blame. Because of the baby's clingy behavior, it could be hard for him to leave anywhere or to go train. Unless it's a dire situation, he knows that the moment she sees him leaving she's going to cry and he'll feel guilty. Depending on where you all go in public, Vegeta will be standing very close to the stroller or he will insist on carrying the sleeping baby everywhere while you handle things.

If existing siblings: Trunks is the most protective of his younger siblings and loves to see his family grow. Bulla loves having a little sister the most and tries to play dress up with her. The two girls will get the last say on things as Trunks (being the only son) will get outvoted. Like her older siblings, your daughter will have more distinct features that resemble you but like Trunks will have a scowl just like her father. Trunks and Bulla were also clingy babies so Vegeta most likely already has practice dealing with it and learns to keep small toys for gripping so he can hold her without the fussing or those tiny nails scratching him up. Future Trunks would be ecstatic to know he is a big brother and it will make more determined to protect a world and future where she would be safe too.

Cons- He gets frustrated when he can't soothe her. Sometimes babies just cry and when he can't figure it out he lets his temper get the best of him. Sometimes raising his voice at the baby and immediately regrets it when it scares her. That's when you have to take over and let him get out of the house. He will try to make up for it after he's calmed down or had some time to train again.

Broly — It's a boy!

The smiliest little guy you've ever seen and a spitting image of his father with skin and colorful eyes reflecting light like yours. Broly never saw this amount of joy in being a parent for himself. He was happy to know you were pregnant with his child, but to see the baby for the first time made him very emotional, realizing that he officially has become a father. He was given another person of his own to cherish and love. A family! Because he can't really talk to the baby, Broly mimics all the little things you do to show your love: stacking kiss upon kiss to his cheek until he giggles, playing peek-a-boo with a blanket, and humming to him. It's the most gentle he can ever remember himself being. If he could he would sit from sun up to sun down holding his son without moving an inch. He loves to hold him when he sleeping the most and wrap him in Ba's ear, but it does make it difficult for you when you need to lay him down for a nap or for the night. Broly's really out of his element and has to be shown the right way to hold him, feed him and change him. Absolutely hates being separated from his son longer than a day or two, but he does have his own training to work on and is twice as focused on it knowing he has his son to protect. Broly can't wait until he's big enough to play with.

Cons- He is too overprotective. Aside from your family, Cheelai, Lemo, Goku, and Vegeta, he's not letting anyone else get close to his son while he's so young. Not even Lord Beerus. He can also be helpless and get worked up if he cannot calm his crying child or help them while he's sick. He blames himself for it if it starts when he's with him. Until his son starts to show signs of his power being like his, Broly is not letting anyone remove his tail either and will become short-tempered when it gets brought up. He just wants to give his son a chance to live like everyone else in a safe place and without being judged by things he may do instead of what he can do.

Raditz — It's a boy!

Overall he has a very well-tempered baby boy who one would think rarely cries, but he's also prone to the worse temper tantrums. Raditz both likes and dislikes it, a sign that his son is a strong and healthy saiyan, but the fact that you won't allow him to stick your baby in a nursery pod when he's fussy can make the crying a bit excessive on his nerves. He learns to get used to it since it's not often. Often holds his baby on his shoulder with one hand, whether resting stomach-down while he's sleeping or supporting his back so he can sit up there. He tries to carry him with his tail but you ask him many times not to do that while he's so small or the pressure may make him puke up, so instead he does it when the baby is lying down next to him. The more mobile the baby is on his own, the more he is able to really bond and play with him. You can catch them both crawling after each other, chasing the other down in a fit of laughter. Raditz's son starts to show early signs of his saiyan abilities ( flight mostly ) which can lead to them sometimes playing a little rougher, but they sleep it off together, passing out in odd positions where they fall.

Cons- He puts too many expectations on his child, comparing his development to his own childhood. Raditz is not very helpful or handy with a newborn/infant stage which could leave you dealing with the baby alone throughout that stage. Even with saiyan blood coursing through his body, you have to remind Raditz that you're not raising your child for war and he would have to wait for him to get a little older before you were comfortable with him training him. Like Vegeta, he tends to lose his temper when he can't soothe a tantrum from crying and will distance himself to get some peace.

Bardock — It's a girl!

And a very independent-behaving child. Bardock most likely was not present during those early stages or to see his baby girl born, but she's still small enough that he can interact with her without feeling lost in what he should do to bond with her. He talks to her like she's another adult and she smiles at him like she understands but knows it mostly goes over her head unless he mentions some familiar words that perk her up. Bardock is more interactive with her when he's just gotten back home from his missions, she often gets to greet him before you and that immediately lightens his mood from all the troubles that follow him home. He'll carry her around more or let her ride on his shoulders, gift her with souvenirs from other planets, and play with her. However, Bardock does tend to get restless and can't focus on much until he's leaving out for his next mission. If there is one thing he would try to teach her is how to master her Great Ape form, he himself being one of few who are able to control himself in it.

If existing siblings: The baby would probably see Kakarot and Raditz as much as they see Bardock. Bardock is actually relieved to have a daughter instead of another son, a part of him knows that there would be more roles for her to stay on the planet than venture out and claim some planet for Frieza. Especially if she is weaker. He can't really help that with his two boys, but he doesn't want his little girl going out unnecessarily. Even if she would be as fierce a warrior, there had to be more she could do than live the life of a low-class warrior. It may be a while before she gets to really bond with her big brothers. Raditz would point out some favoritism for her over himself and Kakarot and come to resent her a little but the latter will probably not think much of her. If she's half-saiyan, then "Goku" would indeed be her best friend and treat her like she's his own kid but she may not have that chance with Raditz.

Cons- Bardock does put his lifestyle before his child and would not be very present. He is a man stuck in his ways as a low-class saiyan warrior and he has to answer the calling. Spending time with you and his daughter is him mostly biding time for the next mission, so while he does get to see her and become familiar with her budding personality, you will mostly be raising her alone. He does still cherish the moments with his daughter.

Gohan — It's twin boys!

He definitely didn't see that coming, but he has a bright pair of twin baby boys! Gohan is very attentive to his babies since he's handling two at a time. It's not like helping his mom with Goten at all. He has mixed them up before but the more they grow into their features, the more he can tell them apart. Sensing their ki also helps. Gohan takes a lot of time away from school/work to help you with the twins. At least until they are a little older. He knows he's going to have to put in some extra effort to catch up or even to get the position he wants when he goes back but his priority is to you and his family right now. Even with help from his grandfather, parents, and little brother, he wants to be sure he's there for these early stages of their lives. Gohan has the best support system when Piccolo is also factored in that he can have a healthy work/life balance, but he doesn't think about it when he's reading his twins to sleep, washing their hair before bed, or feeding them breakfast in the morning. You actually have to convince Gohan to go back to work/school ( with Chi Chi's encouragement as well ) once the babies are bigger and you can manage them on your own. He will show off all the pictures he took of them to his colleagues and video chat every lunch break so he can eat with them. The twins show off a level of intelligence beyond their development sometimes and it's chalked up to just there being two of them or even linked to their saiyan biology but it can make them a little mischievous.

If existing siblings: Big sister Pan is a big helper to her little brothers. She can't wait for them to get old enough to start training with her and Piccolo. She takes her older sibling responsibility very seriously and will help you and Gohan anywhere she can. Gohan would like to think from raising Pan and his own little brother that he has all the experience he needs to handle his twins but they wise up quickly and show they can be a handful.

Cons- Gohan is a pushover and gives the babies anything they want. He gets reprimanded for it by everyone, but he really can't help it! Two heads working against him tend to make him cave to their little demands and he can end up spoiling them. But it makes him happy to make them happy.

The Second Saiyan of Earth fought so hard to prevent the energy blast from the god Emperor from hitting the Earth as he felt his energy slowly fading when an explosion between the two energy blasts knocked Goku Jr back, causing him to fall towards the atmosphere. Unable to find the strength to keep going, is tired eyes looked towards him as he fell closer and closer to Earth. Seemingly catching on fire for the most part but his durability prevented him from taking any real damage. His breathing became heavier from exhaustion as he struggled to keep his eyes open. He could hear his life flashing before his eyes as well as memories swarming like crazy.

"You can relax, little brother...." He could hear Gohan's voice in his memories. Every time he told him not to be scared. "I can tell you're getting nervous."

The next voice he heard was twin. "Look at all we've lost and all we've learned," he heard Goten's voice. Remembering the vividly wise tone in Goten's voice. Everything they learned from their losses became so painfully evident as he thought about it more.

The next voice however caused the same Prince of Fire Mountain to desperately try to find whatever strength to keep fighting. Any strength that may be harboring within. "I'll stay in your heart...." The voice of Chi-Chi, his Mother, said in Goku Jr's mind. Thoughts of all of his friends and family including his wife and children were swarming Goku Jr like a storm as he heard all of their voices.

"Kaka, we're waiting......" He heard them all say as if they were all calling out to him to keep fighting. All while he was praying for them to just give him the strength to keep fighting. The strength he needed to take Zamasu down. He needed it. Tears fell from his eyes, as the fear and desperation began to sink in. "Waiting...... Waiting......."

"Everyone.... Lend me your strength.... please....." He said as he closed his eyes. But then it happened. A sudden surge of energy came to him. It was almost as if his call was answered. But the only way to accept it was to open the gate. He knew what he had to do... Whatever it took to defeat him... Whatever it took to save them... To return home.....

With a blood curdling roar, Goku Jr gathered enough energy and transformed all the way back into Ultra Instinct sign as he began to fly at great speeds back to where Zamasu was. Only stopping when he was present for the god to see him. Quickly entering a fighting stance making it clear that he wasn't done yet.

Zamasu was enraged by the sight of this. First it was the original Son Goku that would defile his ideals of the world as a god. And now his son was following in his footsteps. His clone and adopted brat. It seems that he wasn't completely broken or beaten. He was going to have to fix that. And he will.

Goku Jr glared as he watched the god emperor stare him down before he spoke again. "I don't think you really get it," Goku Jr said, in his tired yet determined state. "I can't afford to die!" His determination only fuels him as he continued on. His energy only spiked up more and all on Earth and even in the realms of the Gods, and other world could feel his energy. The thoughts of his mother , Chi-Chi, his father, Goku, his brothers and sisters, "Because I will protect my world.... And I will get back to my sons...." The sheer determination in Goku Jr's words and voice were evident as the thoughts of his wife really got through to him and completed his determination being fueled. "AND I WILL GET BACK TO MY WIIIIIFE!!!!!!!" Afterwards he would charge at the god emperor, before punching him square in the face before moving again at the speeds that zamasu could not keep up with before punching him in the back, then in the stomach. "For every comrade," the Saiyan Prince of Fire Mountain said as he persisted in his assault. "Every one of my friends, and all the souls who were slaughtered by your hands!"

And was that he then charged up his energy into his fist as he then delivered a massive punch to zamasu's stomach, both of them to fly towards the atmosphere and crashing down onto the Earth around them creating a massive crater. "SIX THOUSAND DRAGON FIST!!!!!!!!" Goku Jr screamed at the top of his lungs as he crashed down with Zamasu onto the Earth, causing a massive dragon made from all of the energy he had gathered, that flew into the sky before turning and flying back towards the two and hitting Zamasu right in the face, causing a massive explosion.

Everyone could feel the immense energy as they all rushed towards where it came from to see the crater and Goku Jr standing over Zamasu before trying to walk away. Seeing his friends gather around but also various energy rifts showed up as they realized what was going on. Zamasu could be heard laughing. Various different versions of Goku Black, Gohan Black and the rest of the different versions of Zamasu and his cultists. "You idiot...." Zamasu said in his pained laughter. "Can't you see? You sealed all of your Fates, just to beat me... You summoned all of my cult, when you unleashed your power. And ensured my victory, and now you'll never be able to go home....."

It was at that point Goku Jr slowly and deliberately turned towards Zamasu. Was Piccolo and Vegeta feeling the rage coming from him. The same Prince of Fire Mountain only began to walk towards him. "You're going to call off your cult....." Goku Jr said coldly as he slowly but surely approached one of Trunks' broken swords that was dropped during the battle.

Goku Black only scoffed at this as he noticed Goku Jr trying to intimidate him. Who did he think he was? Only to then boast about how Goku Jr had still failed. "Or what?" He clearly said he slowly but surely pointed out a major fact that was going to bite him in the ass. "You can't kill me, boy!"

Goku Jr let him speak before he got closer to the blade, his eyes darkened with sheer amounts of anger, and emotions. He knew that there was only one way to get him to call them off. And the fact that Zamasu can't die gave him more of an excuse. His eyes temporarily turned towards Zamasu. "Exactly," he said before turning to the blade which was still a few feet away from him before walking towards it. "I can't kill you, that is true. But you're going to wish I could...."

The Second Saiyan of Earth was seen walking towards the god in the body of his father. Goku, Chi-Chi, and the rest of his family and friends could see the rage in his eyes. The anger felt immense as Goku Jr picked up the broken blade from Trunks.The fear in Goku Black's eyes as he spoke. "Wait.... Wait.... AAAAACK!!!!!!" A scream of agony was heard for the Kai in Goku's Body as the Clone of Goku violently stabbed him. The pain was unbearable as the adopted son of Goku continued his assault. The relentless stabbings were filled with such rage and hatred. Something that Zamasu knew that even the purest of heart deep down were truly capable of. Each stab was 10 times more painful than the last. And it was clear that the second Saiyan of Earth was letting out all of his anger emotion and pain into every single stab that he delivered. Zamasu only continued to scream in agony, as Goku Jr showed the monster that he could be.

"How does it feel to be helpless!?" Goku Jr screamed in his anger, pain and sorrow. Each stab that he delivered was so damn personal. For all of the pain that this bastard had caused. Every amount of suffering that was inflicted because of this man who used his father's face and name in order to inflict such pain and misery. Goku Black's screams of agony did not stop him, but rather fueled him to keep going. "How does it feel to know pain!?" Each stab and word showcased more and more emotion the more this went on. He knew that he could never kill Zamasu. This particular version of Goku Black that had plagued him for so long was immortal in various ways. But he wasn't deterred in his actions. In fact this is exactly why he was doing this. He was taking advantage of the fact that he can't kill Goku Black now. To not only make him suffer and understand what it's like to go through a small taste of the pain that he caused. But also to let out all of his own pain and suffering out. Coming to terms with the fact that this man turned a once innocent boy into something that he wasn't.

The more this went on the more horrified everyone around became. Too terrified to even move. Goku wanted to stop his son but for some reason, something was preventing him from doing so. "I watched my comrades die in Honor!" He screamed with even more rage in his heart as he continued his relentless mutilation of his enemy. His rage became more and more evident with each attack. "Crying as they were slain! I heard their final moments, CALLING OUT TO THEIR CAPTAIN IN VAIN!!!!"

The more Goku Jr continued to inflict his pain upon Zamasu, the more everyone could see the tears from Goku Jr.'s eyes as he continued on. "LOOK AT WHAT YOU TURNED ME INTO!!!!" He screamed in his fury. Clearly not intending to show any Mercy. The influence of Piccolo and Vegeta clearly evident here but that moral compass was still present. Locked away inside that closed heart of Goku Jr at the moment. The Saiyan Prince of Fire Mountain continued to force the blade in and out of the places that would cause Zamasu the most pain. "LOOK AT WHAT WE'VE BECOME!!!!!"

"E-ENOUGH!!!" Zamasu begged in his screams. His screaming became louder the more Goku Jr continued. "STOP! STOOOOP!!!!!!!"

"ALL OF THE PAIN THAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH! HAVEN'T I SUFFERED ENOUGH!?" Goku Jr countered as he continued to slam the blade into the body of his enemy. Refusing to show any Mercy at this point. "YOU DIDN'T STOP, WHEN I BEGGED YOU!!!! TOLD ME TO CLOSE MY HEART!!!!! YOU SAID THE WORLD WAS DARK!!!!!"

The God in Goku's Body was choking on his own blood at this point for the most part as he was coughing it out. "Y-You...." He said as he was being stabbed more and more as he screamed the rest out in pain. "MONSTER!!!!!!" That didn't stop the Saiyan Prince as he continued onward.

"DIDN'T YOU SAY THAT RUTHLESSNESS WAS MERCY UPON OUR-!?" Goku Jr tried to say only to be cut off by Zamasu.

"ALRIGHT!!!! I GIVE!!!!!" He screamed out. "Please... I surrender... You win.... Just Stop... Goku....”

I keep trying to explain it but I'm struggling. But I can see it . At the beginning of DBS Trunks is still himself in that he fancies himself knowledgeable and skilled, and he (like any dragon ball character) rushes to the scene of defense at every opportunity. But also. He is a little rule follower. His brash audacity has been scrubbed away. Since his screentime in DBZ he has learned self-doubt and hesitance. He has learned that the world can be unexpected and is worth fearing.

And then later on when Future Trunks shows up, little Trunks doesnt know anything about him becasue no one tells him ANYTHINGGG. And this is sort of a big deal. This is literally ABOUT HIM. I wonder if he felt violated somewhat. I wonder if he felt small by the way that his parents hang secrets over him.

Once he learns about the dark future, he really wants to help. He doesnt really understand it. He knows he can't help. But be wants to help. Even if he didnt want to help, he'd still want to help, becasue those fight-positive goodness-defending virtues are what hes been raised with and are what he knows is expected of him. But his parents tell him to settle down and that it's too dangerous.

I wonder if hes confused. When will it be time for him to make his parents proud by defying against them? How will he know when it's time? When is he to trust his perspective more than his parents'? They want him to be competent and brave and courageous. But they also want him to do as he's told. This can all be very confusing. When and how will he know that it's time to grow up? When will they let him? Are they waiting for him? Is he a failure, or just still a child? Is there a difference? Should that fuel him, or is it hopeless?

After that arch there is a filler episode where Goku summons Shenron and everybody butts in to try to get their wish granted. Trunks shows up with Goten, and he argues that they should get their wish granted becasue it's time for the kids to have a win. He says that the adults are always making wishes, and he's tired of it.

That's really how he sees it ... he sees the adults in his life moving freely and procuring what they want, whereas he is always being corralled into line and being told "no." The distinction is on the arbitrary status of age, he thinks. When pressed, he reveals that he doesnt even have a wish in mind. He had just seen the sky darken, and that had lit him with a white-hot indignation, feeling cheated and ignored, and he had acted on it without giving it much thought.

And it's just. I don't know. I see it in the little things. It could just be me seeing things. But I never really saw it before despite me being ready to find this in his character beforehand. But now I've actually been seeing it in the episodes. The subtle insecurity. It's always made sense that it'd be there. Now I'm actually seeing it.

Somebody should make a sadboy amv of DBS Trunks. OR "break stuff" by limpbizkit. Maybe just the opening instrumental to "Enter Sandman" by Metallica. A montage of all the times hes been told "no" or made to doubt his instincts. I'd hit like on that

Alright, here we go with Dragon Ball Daima, episode 3. Onward, to Daimakai!

Hold up, hold up. The transit space is called Warp-sama? With the -sama honorific, which is meant to show respect to venerable elders and mentors and stuff? XD

I. Don't know enough about Western anime releases to know if that's weird or not. But it's definitely one solid

First portion of this episode is spent making the journey through Warp-sama in order to reach Daimakai. Which would probably be more impactful if we hadn't already spent a bunch of time watching King Gomah make the same trip previously.

Like. This would be really awesome to go through for the very first time right alongside Goku, with the same sense of wonder he has, while Glorio's explaining how it all works.

But now I'm just like, "I don't care. I've seen this. I understand what this is. You're rehashing. Get to the new stuff."

Which only reinforces my opinion that the first episode is bad. After spending half an episode watching a Dragon Ball Z clip show, they then proceeded to shortsightedly ruin the beginning to episode 3. This should have been our first exposure to Warp-sama.

I am too, mainly because the closing credits indicated that Bulma, Vegeta, and Piccolo will make it to Daimakai. But I am curious how the PIN number will play into things.

Hopefully this means Team Bulma will get to explore the bureaucracy of Warp-sama and build that out a bit while Goku's having demon adventures.

Especially since it looks like Goku now has a roadmap for getting to Makai #1 without needing to go through Warp-sama to do it. So if Team Bulma does come through Warp-sama, they can probably just meet up with him in Makai #2 or something.

Much like the offhandedly established Tamagami, these pathways blocked by light barriers that we just happen to be passing by reek of plot-building.

Glorio is ominously evasive about his work. TAKING ALL BETS!!! The true nature of his job is:

1 - Something really questionable, like an assassin or personal minion to King Gomah. He can't say it because then Goku and Kaioshin wouldn't trust him.

2 - Something really embarrassing, like King Gomah's pillow fluffer. He can't say it because he wants these guys to take him seriously as a mysterious shonen badass.

This being Dragon Ball, it could go either way.

That Kaioshin too comes from Makai retroactively adds an interesting layer to how fearful he was of Dabra back in the Buu arc. Like.

Before, the context was just that this guy is the strongest guy in all the known realities. He's the ruler of Makai and he makes the mortal realm's strongest, Frieza, look like weak-ass horseshit by comparison. Kaioshin, a legendary super god whose very existence was considered mythical by gods, knew of him by reputation. And what he knew was that this guy is the most to be feared.

But with the new Daimakai lore, Kaioshin was actually one of Dabra's subjects once upon a time. His fear of Dabra isn't reputational; He grew up under Dabra and knows what he's capable of.

And then, one day, he saw Dabra made a puppet to Babidi and brought to the mortal realm. To revive Majin Buu.

Between "Everyone's turned into children again and can't use their abilities effectively anymore" and "The air in Daimakai is super heavy and makes everything sluggish", there's a lot of nerfs in play right now.

It makes sense. They want to do a big RPG fantasy adventure starting from level 1 but with a cast who can sneeze too hard and accidentally break seven universes. There's an effort on display here to try and avoid the "Goten and Trunks are menaced by the STRONGEST SNAKE IN THE UNIVEEEEEEEEERSE" problem that DBS (and GT and often the Z anime, for that matter) had.

Characters don't need to constantly forget that they can fly and teleport and shoot galaxy-crushing super-beams if you bake in a reason why they can't do those things right now.

That said....

Kaioshin ain't kidding. This is moving slow. We're fifteen minutes into a twenty-three minute episode. Apart from the briefest possible altercation with bandits we didn't even get to fight, all we've done is sit in the plane while Glorio reads off entries from the Daimakai Fandom Wiki to us.

Toei, I said this in episode 1 and I'll reiterate: You don't need to write like you're giving the manga space to get ahead.

Riveting stuff. I am on the edge of my seat for Glorio staring into the camera and monotonously explaining Makai #3's geology.

I'm sure this is being established so that it can come up in an interesting way later down the road. I'm just saying, there are better ways to convey information to your audience than by having a character emotionlessly read worldbuilding entries from the Story Bible for 3/4 of an episode.

Robbing the hotel manager that was trying to extort them is the first interesting thing we've seen Glorio do so far. Particularly interesting is his holstered gun, which he used to abruptly cut the bandit attack short a moment ago so he could resume explaining the lore.

It's easy to overlook as an American, given that everyone and their dog seems to have seven different firearms stored under their pillow, on the kitchen table, in the baby's crib, wherever. But having a gun in Japan is a Big Fucking Deal.

So that is certainly interesting.

But at this point, this character certainly has me waiting for the other shoe to drop. He is so deadly serious. There has to be a punchline coming. The ending credits seem to imply that he's got like a little sister or something that will be joining us and I can't wait to meet her because I bet she's going to take the wind out of his sails hard.

Right now, he feels like a straight man in search of an absurd counterpart to bounce jokes off him. Goku and Kaioshin are too busy bouncing jokes off each other to do that.

Fortunately, we're far enough removed from everyone constantly popping a Senzu that Goku having his huge appetite back won't constitute a plot hole.

That was a big deal in the Z anime, which pretty much abandoned the "Eating a Senzu means Goku won't need to eat a truckload of food for a full week" rule immediately so they could keep doing Truckload of Food jokes.

But as long as we keep Goku an entire reality away from Senzu, Toei can do as many Truckload of Food gags as they want without adversely affecting the show's consistency.

Goku barfighting local thugs while trying to enjoy his demonburgers is the best part of the episode. Especially for how few fucks Glorio gives about this.

He did a little bit of the fighting to get the action scene started. But then he was just like:

"Ehh, naptime. You guys are on your own."

It's a super fun action sequence, though. Again, the nerfs really help with making a "Goku gets attacked by ruffians" not feel out-of-place. The groundwork has been laid for why Goku can't just punch the air and shockwave them all unconscious in 0.5 seconds flat.

It also helps that Goku doesn't really seem threatened at all by these guys. Instead, he treats this as a training exercise to help him acclimate his body to the thick Makai #3 atmosphere.

So this isn't just a Random Encounter. There's a legitimate narrative reason for him to be fighting them that's in keeping with Goku's personality and character - and also consequences that the episode promises for next episode, too.

But the stakes and the tension are nonetheless kept at a level that seems appropriate for a fight between Goku and some bar thugs.

Murmurs filled the stadium. A special technique? An eclipse? Worse, the end of the world? Even Mic’s guesses over his microphone didn’t do much to quell the wondering crowds.

Piccolo and Tien both came to a screeching halt, looking to the now black sky, and exchanged knowing glances.

Just then, Goku appeared with Instant Transmisison. “Somebody’s summoned the dragon…” The full Saiyan said, his eyebrows furrowed. Uub and Pan weren’t him. Goten could sense they were still with Mr. Satan. Safe, thankfully.

“Yeah. I know.” Goten stood upright from against the wall, on full alert. wasn’t sure who in the world could have found all seven balls right under their noses, much less what the hell their wish could be.

Literally almost everyone they knew was here right now. Nobody was left who even knew about the Dragon Balls.

Goten’s face scrunched in serious thought, crossing his arms to think. “the 4 star was right there on the shelf at home just an hour ago…”

Wait.

His house.

“Shit!”

In a frantic burst, Goten put his fingers to his forehead and tried to focus with Instant Transmission. He knew the direction of Mount Paozu from here, pleading in his mind that he could sense something—anything—but to no luck.

Seeing no other option, he knew he had to check it out himself. He hovered into the air, ready to blast off towards the northeast when his father called out to him.

“What’s wrong, Goten? Where are you going?”

“Someone’s at our house, Dad! They found the four star ball, that’s what’s wrong! I need to go see! This could be dangerous!” Goten said, hovering higher as he was speaking, practically shouting.

Seeing the frazzled state his son was in, Goku smiled softly to calm him down. “Just relax, Goten. It’s okay. You stay here, your match is soon. I’ll go check it out.”

“This is the last time I’m letting you set me up with someone!” You yell angrily at your phone. “No, he’s not ‘a little late’, he stood me up!”

Your friend keeps making excuses over the phone. Maybe he’s lost, maybe he got confused. But you’ve been waiting for like 30 minutes, and that’s a lot more than you’d wait for anyone. 

“Look, I’m angry at you right now, but I’m angrier at the jerk who didn’t show up. And I’m hungry. I’m hanging up now.”

With that, you hang up. It’s not like this is going to ruin your friendship or anything. But you are hungry. Taking a look at the menu again to check if you weren’t up for anything more substantial, you look for the waiter to finally order something other than water, but a stranger is standing really close to you, startling you.

“Sorry! Didn’t mean to scare you!” He says, holding his hands up. “I heard your conversation over the phone, and I was wondering if I could maybe join you? I’m new to this city and I was going to eat alone anyway.”

You look at him, bewildered. This guy is actually really cute; tall and with disheveled hair and a surprisingly lovely expression on his face, in contrast with how broad his shoulders and chest are. You were supposed to have a blind date, so this is close to being the same situation, right? And this is a public place, so you shouldn’t worry too much in case he’s a psychopath or something. 

“You heard my conversation on the phone?” You ask him, playfully. 

“Well, you were kinda yelling.” He chuckles.  

His smile is adorable. You look him over for a second before nodding and gesturing to the seat in front of you. 

“Thanks. I’m Goku, by the way.” He says, sitting by the table.

You introduce yourself just before the waiter shows up, asking if you were ready to order. It surprises you that Goku actually orders a lot of food. 

“You’re not gonna make me pay, right?”

“No!” He laughs. “Don’t worry, I have money.”

“Okay…” You look at him, a little amused but warily. 

“So you were stood up?”

“Ugh, yeah… My first date in like a year and… he probably saw me and left, or something…”

“Aw, I don’t think anyone would do that.”

You look at him with a raised eyebrow. Goku is still smiling sweetly at you, is he just being friendly? 

“What about you, are you really new to the city?”

“Yeah, I just moved in yesterday. And I don’t really know anybody.”

“ If it’s ok to ask, why did you move?.”

“I… recently got divorced.”

“Me and my ex just get along fine now, but our son has to go to high school so… I moved in here with him.”

“You have a son?!” You ask, unashamed, with eyes open wide. He does not look like he has a son that goes to high school. 

“Yeah… I have two, actually.”

You would have spit water had you been drinking, but you’re glad you weren’t. 

“Is it that surprising?” Goku asks, scratching the back of his neck, obviously a little nervous. “I got married at 18 and we had our first kid right away…”

“You don’t need to explain anything, I’m sorry. You just don’t look that old…”

“Thanks.” He smiles at you, making you blush a little.

“So, um… how old are your kids?”

“Gohan is 23, and Goten is 13.”

You sigh, a little relieved. Goku is insanely attractive, and you’re glad you’re not the same age as his oldest son. 

You want to start considering this a date, but you wonder if Goku would feel the same. He’s divorced, maybe he’s not ready to date, and he just wants a friend; he did say he didn’t know anyone in the city. Maybe the best thing to do is see how things flow during dinner. 

When the food arrives, you’re stunned at how much he can eat. You haven’t seen anyone eat like that ever, and you can’t help but smile as he basically swallows down plate after plate. 

“Are you a world champion eater?” You tease him after you both finish your meals.

“No!” Goku chortles. “I did win the Martial Arts Tournament a couple of times, though.”

“Yeah! Haven’t participated in one in a while.” 

You drink down your glass of water in one gulp. It’s insane this specimen of a man is single currently, and sitting at your table. You have no idea what having children is like, so you can’t judge, but what is there even to argue about with a husband like that?!

“My place is just some blocks away, but it’s fine-”

On your way there, you’re glad Goku actually seems to like to talk a lot. He makes you laugh easily, and even makes you blush from time to time. He’s incredibly charming, and you start to feel a little self conscious about the fact that he’s walking you home. You want him to come into your apartment, but the line is still blurry about this dinner being a date or just a friendly meetup. 

“This is where I live.” You point out once you’re in front of your building. “I had fun!”

“Me too!” Goku blushes slightly, and it catches you a bit off guard. 

Neither of you say anything for a second, as you wonder yet again if you should ask him to come up. 

“Is it okay…” He speaks first, and you fix your eyes on him. “Is it okay to kiss you?”

“Yeah… Yes, I’d like that.” You stumble with the words as you feel your face inevitably heat up.

Goku smiles softly as he puts his hands on your shoulder and leans in. You meet him halfway, getting on your tiptoes, as your lips touch. You've exclaimed as a big smile made it's way onto Goku's face. "Wohoo!! I'm glad you like it!!" You then handed Goku the cup of tea so he can taste it so he sees that he didn't need to add sugar. "Here try it." He immediately accepted the offer and took a sip. "Wahh!! This is super sweet! I love it!" Goku said giving it back to you. If you weren't dick he would have drank all of it but you needed it most. "Hehe of course, I've created this recipe on purpose, it always worked and is sweet. The perfect combination!!" You've said proudly. After he finished, he took a break and lied and the couch. Sighing, he wiped the sweat off his forehead. "Phew!! Who could have thought cleaning the house would be so tiring? I really should help Y/n more..." He felt guilty. You two have been marred for a very long time yet he barely helped you out for cleaning. Thinking this only made him wanting to continue. He got up and watched a tutorial about how to wash the dishes, and to wash the clothes, how to dry the clothes, when he finished all do it he was way more sweaty than when he was training making him think. "Oh! Maybe cleaning will make me stronger too!" Goku exclaimed to himself. But before doing anything else he looked at the clock and saw he took 2 great hours doing the cleaning. He went Upstairs, softly opened the bedroom, made his way towards you, kissed your cheek, and changed the towel over your head. After doing that he couldn't help but kiss your cheek one more, enjoyed the sweet moment even if you were sound asleep. "Y/n sure does look better now. I'll still let her rest more. But what should I do waiting for her?.. Oh I know!!" Goku made his way in the kitchen unaware of you waking up. You've yawned like a big fat cat and rubber your eyes. You felt way better, your head hurts a little bit but not your throat, and as you tried to get up you did not fall this time, which made you happy. You smelt a weird scent downstairs so you made your ways towards it, and it lead you to the kitchen. When you entered the kitchen, the frying pan exploded, making you and Goku have a black face. Goku noticed your presence as he laughed akwardly. "Hehe..Hehe.... He... Hey there N/n... When did you woke up do you feel better?.." He asked really wanting to know, but also using this as an excuse to not get killed. "Oh don't call me N/n you're a dead man!!" Goku yelped when he heard you saying that and started running away. You chased after him of course and when you managed to hold his shirt successfully stopping him, you triped. Miserably. "Woah Y/n! Be careful!!" He scolded you for the first time ever. He carried you on put you on the bed. As you pouted wanting to demolish that man. "Leave the rest to me alright?? I promise to clean my mess!!" Goku said as he smiled and made his way downstairs again as you closed your eyes.

Maybe you will kill him another day.

I think that was the one shot I've enjoyed writing the most now!! It was so cute and so fun to make!! So I hope you guys will enjoy this as much as I did!!

(reader has caught his eye a few times and somehow she interests him more and more. Hi there! Thanks so much for liking my work! I’m so sorry for such a long wait, and I hope you like this fic! (TW for emotional and verbally abusive ex, some curse words) 

752 days. 752 days ago, Raditz was in the depths of Hell. It was sweltering and barren, and he had sworn to himself that if he ever got out, he would do anything in his power to make sure he would not return. However, as he held his head in his hand, Raditz was sure that he was probably in Hell on earth.

"C’mon Uncle Raditz, let's go! You promised dad you'd warm us up for training today!" Goten whined. Raditz grumbled under his breath, trying in vain to shake Goten and his friend, Trunks, off his legs.

"Get lost, you brats," Raditz said.

Goten and Trunks continued to whine, pouting as Raditz scowled and glared down at them. They grinned, eyes glinting with unspoken mischief. The two boys looked at each other before snickering. Goten charged a weak blast before firing it off at Raditz. 

“Damn brat!” Raditz snarled. He watched as Trunks and Goten sped off, content with causing the man trouble. Raditz dusted himself off as he watched them before shaking his head and rolling his eyes. Turning on his heel, Raditz stalked deeper into the backyard, content to train on his own for the rest of the evening.  

Sweat dripped down Raditz’s brow. His chest heaved as the sun set behind him. Glancing at a rock, Raditz made his way to it to rest as the dust settled around him. Closing his eyes, Raditz took a deep breath as his breathing and heart slowed.

Suddenly, the sound of a motor roused Raditz from his rest. Raditz looked up to see a light blue car speeding down the road. It careened to the front of the Capsule Corp home, just out of Raditz’s view. Raditz stood, stretched, and stalked his way to the back of the Capsule House.

“Bulma! Bulma!” A voice cried. Raditz frowned, looking around the corner. The doorbell rung again and again, and whoever was behind the door was in a huff as they pounded on the floor. Raditz growled to himself as he wrenched the door open. He was just about to reprimand the intruder when he paused.

A woman stood there; her hand posed to knock again. She pursed her lips for a second before dropping her arm and fidgeting under Raditz’s gaze.

“Ah, hi. Sorry to bother you. Is Bulma home?”

Raditz’s mouth opened and closed, before he growled to himself and glared at the woman.

“Depends,” he said. “Why?”

Raditz blanched as the woman smiled.

“Y/N,” she said. “I’m Y/N. I’m sorry for the weird introduction, I really wouldn’t have come if I knew Bulma had company, but I really don’t have any other choice right now. Can I come in?”

Raditz said nothing, opting instead to move to the side. Y/N came through the door and looked around. She walked to the kitchen and sat herself down at the table with a huff.

Raditz stared at the woman as she fixed her hair and smoothed out her clothes. She wrung her hands and looked up at Raditz before speaking.

“Do you know when Bulma will be back? It’s really important,” she said.

Raditz shook his head.

“What do you need her for anyway? You two friends or something? If you are, you should know her schedule by now,” he hissed. Raditz’s eyes widened as Y/N let out a huff before laughing all together.

“That’s right! Now I know where I know you from. You’re Goku’s brother, right? I mean, you’re right, I’m always around Bulma and the gang, but I can never really get her schedule down.”

Raditz rolled his eyes, fidgeting under the woman’s gaze.

“She and her husband left this morning. She left her brat kid and his friend here,” Raditz said.

Y/N scoffed, slumping down in her seat.

“Well, shit,” she said. She looked up at Raditz, biting her lip for a moment.

“Do you think you could do something for me?” Y/N asked. Raditz frowned. Y/N continued.

“There’s this guy. I used to, well, we used to be together. He won’t leave me alone. He’s always at my house, outside my job, shit, he showed up at my place last night. I don’t know where else to go, and I was hoping Bulma was here but since she isn’t…” Y/N trailed off. Raditz’s eye twitched as she continued.

“I’m not asking for you to do anything that would get you in trouble. Could you just maybe, go with me while he’s still there? He’s supposed to be moving his stuff out, and he has until sundown until I call the cops. I just need the moral support,” Y/N said. She wrung her hands together, watching Raditz intently.

“Fine,” Raditz said.

Y/N let out a squeal. She jumped from her seat at the table to launch herself at Raditz; Raditz stood bewildered as Y/N hugged his neck and jumped up and down.

“Thank you so much!” Y/N said. “You don’t know how much this means to me! I’ll drive us!”

Raditz waved his hand, his face pink and his eyes trained to the floor.

“No need, I don’t like those things. You just go and I’ll follow,” he said. Y/N said nothing; she instead skittered to the door and flung it open, all but throwing herself outside and into her car.

Once he arrived, Raditz could see why Y/N needed help. Clothes scattered the lawn, with a windowpane broken and glimmering on the grass as well. Raditz could hear a car door slamming shut, and he look to Y/N as she marched next to him.

“Are you kidding? Asshole ruined my stuff!” she yelled. Y/N went to work, gather her scattered clothes from the grass, and she had an arm full when her house’s door slammed open.

“Look who decided to drag their sorry ass back here! You come running back?” the man screamed from the doorway. Raditz crossed his arms, watching the other male intently. Raditz stepped forward as the other man spoke again.

“And who the fuck is this?”

“My name is Raditz,” Raditz said. “Get out of the house and we can make this quick.”

The angry man swore and spat, marching from the house to Raditz’s face. Raditz looked down at the man. He could feel his mouth twitch as the angry man tried his best to puff himself up to look taller compared to Raditz.

“C’mon,” Raditz said. “Get outta here. I don’t have all day, and neither does she,” Raditz said, motioning toward Y/N.

“Shut the hell up!” Y/N’s ex cried. Y/N looked up just in time to see him swing at Raditz’s jaw. His fist connected, and Y/N’s jaw dropped as Raditz didn’t move an inch. The man drew his hand back, howling and groaning. Raditz laughed and stepped forward.

“That all you got tough guy? C’mon, lay another one on me.”

Another fist connected with Raditz, and once again, the man cursed and spat at the pain blooming in his fingers.

“Freak! Dammit! My hands!”

Raditz rolled his eyes. Gingerly, he picked Y/N’s ex up by his collar.

“Scram,” Raditz said. He dropped the man, who scrambled away on his behind.

“Fine! I’m outta here, you crazy bitch and crazier fucker. I don’t want any part of this shit,” the man said. Y/N watched with glee as he got up and hurriedly fished his keys out of his pockets before retreating to a parked car in the driveway.

“Raditz!” Y/N cried. Raditz turned around just in time to see Y/N with her arms stretched out wide. He cleared his throat as Y/N hugged him tight.

“Thank you so much! You don’t know how much it means to me!” Y/N said. Raditz blinked and cleared his throat again, noticing how close his face was to Y/N’s. Y/N realized as well, stepping back and smiling.

“Heh, sorry. Anyway… wanna help me pick all this shit up?”

Raditz snorted.

“You got it, I’m just here for moral support.”

hello!!! so i am the person who asked you about cell arch, and the one who hasn't seen the buu arch,,, well l'm happy to say that that's no longer true! I finally watched it and I have SO MUCH TO SAY ITS CRAZY!!! I don't even know where to start or how to make this comprehensible but l'll try my best, im also really nervous but it's ok:-) this is definitely gonna be very chaotic and i apologise in advance because I don't know how to write so l'lI just be saying everything that comes to mind,,,

SO! let me just start this out by saying that YOU WERE SO RIGHT!!!! this arch literally changed my entire perspective on how I view kakavege and it was so good I watched the whole thing in like 4 days xD, I also needed like a whole week to process everything that happened and go through all my notes to compose all my thoughts xDD but ok, here we go,,,

firstly, I just couldn't believe at first how vegeta was like, actually nicer?? like when they went to the tournament he was actually like hanging out with everyone else? this might seem like not much but to me that was so crazy because up until that point, vegeta would always be standing somewhere in the corner angrily and try not to associate with anyone. but now when goku asked him if he wants to go watch goten and trunks fight he agreed and when trunks wins vegeta puts his hand on gokus shoulder??? since when??? that's was like the first big change I noticed and I just couldn't get over it at all, it just seemed insane that vegeta would suddenly be acting not as aggressively. AND THEN THE FAMOUS SCENE!!! where goku and vegeta just communicate without actually saying any words??? | was just speechless, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I think I was still underestimating just how gay this arch is gonna get.

then vegeta not wanting goku to leave with kaioshin because they were supposed to fight in the tournament??? like him just saying that all he wants to do is fight goku and that that's the only reason he even joined??? man I love that scene so much.

then when they are on babidis spaceship it's just very cute how they both trust each other to be able to defeat the enemies,and then when vegeta gets impatient of waiting for the next opponent to show up, he gets angry and wants to destroy the ship, and then goku grabs his arm and tells him to calm down, then they just look into each other's eyes for a long time and OF COURSE, vegeta calms down,, that was so crazy man,,,

god i don't know if this is a normal way of writing this, like l'm just kinda writing things that I liked in the arch and not an actual review, I don't know what l'm doing really but l'm probably just overthinking xD

ok so now we're getting to the good bit😃

vegeta turns Majin ON PURPOSE??? and he only cares about goku?? And when babidi tries to control him to kill other people he just, refuses??? is vegeta really that gay that even mind powers simply don't work on him????

and the fight itself???? ITS SO UNBELIEVABLY GAY!!!! they hold hands so much man!!! and that one scene where vegeta pins goku to the wall with the rings??? i couldn't believe my eyes xDD

and now here's the thing, l'm not very good at writing so I don't know how to structure this well but I wanna talk about the scene where Vegeta knocks goku out and decides to go fight buu,

in my first attempt of writing this I just straight up described the entire scene and i feel like that's just extremely too long and im just gonna assume that everyone knows that scene and not gonna worry about it anymore,,,

that scene literally made me understand kakavege,,, and it sounds a bit silly but it really did, so here we go

in that scene vegeta literally says that he doesn't care if his family and the entire earth dies, and then, goku says that he doesn't believe him, and that he knows he still has good in his heart and vegeta just looks at him for so long, and I think that's when he finally realised how much of a mistake he had made, like do you know what I mean?? i don't know how to explain this well enough so l'm just gonna say it, when goku and vegeta first fought, goku speared him and gave him a second chance. later in the frieza arch when vegeta is dying he tells goku ever since he was little he always had this one path in life: being evil and killing people, and being with frieza didn't help, he made him what he was, an evil killing machine with no remorse, nobody ever even gave vegeta a chance to be anything else than evil, that's all he knew,,, except for goku, he saw the good in his heart and gave him the opportunity to change and be on a different path, and even now, when vegeta turned majin and is at his lowest, after everything he's done and all the people he has hurt, goku still believes in him and gives him another chance once again, and right in that moment, when he's looking at goku, he realises how much goku has done for him, how he always believed in him when nobody else did, and that's when he decides, he's gonna finally repay goku for all the things he has done for him, that's why he knocked him out, because it's finally time for him to start fighting for other people, not just himself,,,

and so now we have arrived at possibly the gayest scene in all dragon ball: vegetas speech before fighting buu!!! (i was gonna put the whole clip here but apparently you can't do that xD)

first of all, goku WAS someone who would get on your nerves????? I cannot get over this, he's literally admitting he doesn't get annoyed by goku anymore this is crazy, and I just really like the line "after you ended up saving my life, you died on me"🥺 i also can't get over the "have a good, long sleep" line!!! it just sounds so🥺 he's saying like, you've done so much for me, now it's my time to do something selfless for you,,, it's so good man!!!!! i had a mental breakdown the first time I saw that😩😩

BUT THATS NOT ALL!!!

the episode where vegeta dies is called "for those whom he loves, vegeta perishes”, and at the end of the episode when he's about to die he's saying his final goodbye and he says,,, "farewell! bulma,, trunks,„ and you, kakarot!"

ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME???? so basically what they're telling me is that vegeta is dying for those who he loves and then he lists those people and he includes goku as well!!???! so he just basically confirmed that he loves goku,,, cool😎

god ok I have to say this, I actually cried when vegeta died ×DD I feel so embarrassed to even admit that men!!😩😩 it's the combination of vegeta FINALLY HUGGING TRUNKS!!!, and vegeta literally flinching and looking like he's holding back tears when picolo told him he's not gonna be able to see goku after he dies,,, like I know he's obviously not actually dead for real but still,,, it genuinely made me sob xD i just really fucking liked that whole scene ok??? XDD

jesus I wrote so much xD in conclusion, thank you so much for encouraging me to watch this arch!!!! if you haven't it would have definitely taken me a lot longer to actually do it and l'm so glad I watched it!!! it genuinely changed my entire perspective on how I view kakavege and it just brought so much joy!!!

also, I already watched fusion reborn and,,, I HAVE EVEN MORE TO SAY ABOUT THAT THEN THIS!!!!!! i literally could analyse every second of screen time that vegeta and goku get together in great detail, so because of that l'm not going to do it here and maybe write another one of these just about the movie.

for starters, i wanted to talk about this thing u said:

this is it man you GET IT. you have figured out exactly what kakavege is at its very core. this concept is the foundation of this ship.. goku has always seen good within vegeta. thats it, at its simplest explanation, that IS kakavege.

it takes so long for vegeta to grasp this, for him to understand that goku sees within him something worth salvaging, because literally no one has ever had that sort of faith in vegeta before. there is nothing quite like being certain you are damned and evil and unsaveable only to have the most amazing and kind person alive believe you are good. its something vegeta doesn’t even deserve frankly, after everything he’s done not only in general but everything he’s done to goku as well…

and of course he knows that, that’s the point of his sacrifice vs. buu… definitely during the fight with goku he realizes he needs to do something to atone, and though dying did absolutely nothing (so fitting with his theme btw), he still felt as though he had to do this as a sorry to goku, even going so far as to namedrop goku in his final words before dying. idk idk i feel pretty normal about it i think

also , no scene will ever top the you are number one speech for me. ever. ever ever ever. its PEAK its peak dbz its peak kakavege its peak anime. it fuckin rules.

to me its the moment vegeta realized his feelings for goku, how all this time he shouldve been adoring him and admiring his strength instead of lamenting him and dedicating his life & fighting career to ending him … aahgg

In defense of XV2 - the sidequest is actually about 18 worrying where Krillin is since he hasn’t come home for their anniversary date plans, Krillin calls up goku to help him deal with some bad guys to mop the floor with them so he can go home, and sends goten and trunks to tell her he’s gonna be late because of work so to wait for him. But G&T take it as “don’t let 18 leave the house” and “Krillin is working/training with Goku”. 18 even specifically says that forgetting their anniversary or skipping it to train “isn’t like (Krillin) at all”. So it’s all a cliche misunderstanding bit, but it ends with apologies all around and Krillin getting 18 to get embarrassed over how much she was looking forward to their anniversary, so all ends well.

I wanna believe that's the case over the other scenario but... Is there a source for this?
