sometimes i think abt that issue of supergirl '05 where kara tries to seek out kon as a member of her family her own age on earth. unfortunately it was dogshit because jeph loeb can't write women and also hates kon, but the seeds of something soooo good are there in the concept. and then she wore his glasses as linda lang. and vouched for him as her cousin on new krypton. and. and every time i think about how they barely got to interact but she clearly cared about him so deeply because he's family and she's lost so many people already and so of course she'll cling to him as one of the only ones she's got left..... AUGHHGHG i need them to go on a life-changing field trip together so bad i need itttt
