Ah, so sorry this is late, I've been trying to think of something to write for this but couldn't be bothered to think much.

Once Laura has developed a pretty close bond with Yukio and Ellie, she realises that she's becoming anxious whenever they put themselves in danger. She knows that's what happens when you're an X-Man and even just a mutant but she can't help it. She cares about them. Ellie and Yukio are one of the only people she's allowed herself to get close to so she feels the need to protect them in some way, even if she's not there with them through the battle. So, she slowly starts being more affectionate with them. Laura starts with high fives and fist bumps, which progress into gentle nudges with her arms, then side hugs, full hugs and now she full on cuddles them. Sometimes she just flops down on one or both when they're on their bed or sofa, chilling. When settled, Laura purrs. She's happy, content and wants them to be as well. The first time they come back from a mission injured, Laura lets them get comfy, gets them everything they'll need and gently lays down on their laps or puts her head on one of their stomachs. Then she starts purring, hoping to sooth them and speed up the healing process. She doesn't know if it really does speed it up but she'd rather try and it not work than not try and leave them all sore and aching. It becomes tradition though for her to camp out with them and spend hours a day purring on them.

Logan became possessive of Wade very quickly. As soon as he saw how many people shot dirty looks to his acquaintance/friend/kidnapper in the streets, he started walking closer to him to show them that Wade was with him. He didn't understand why they looked at him in disgust and whispered about him. Surely, they would not do that to a person who was caught in a fire, volcanic eruption, had acid thrown at them, blown up by a fucking grenade. So why the actual fuck did they feel the need to look at Wade that way? It pissed him off so much. He knew it upset Wade as well, even if he didn't show it. Logan could smell it on him. So, the only thing he could think of to cheer up his acquaintance/friend/kidnapper, was to pin him to the sofa with his 300+ lb body and pur. Pur, until Wade had completely forgotten about their comments and his racing thoughts. It worked every time. Yes, it could take a while sometimes but that's okay, Logan didn't mind.

It took a good few months for Althea to warm up to Logan because Wade's her baby even if she won't say it. She took a liking to Laura straight away. But, once she grew fond of him and accepted that he was good enough for her baby, she made an effort to spend more time with Logan. It was mostly just sitting on the sofa listening to the TV. That's fine though. It was enjoyable. They drifted closer together over time until Logan eventually had his head resting on her lap. He would pur softly and quietly so she could still hear the TV clearly. When Laura would come to visit, Logan would have to give up his spot for her. He would make sure their arms were touching before placing his head on her shoulder. The both of them got head scratches in return for their company. Al wasn't necessarily in distress or physically hurting but she was a soon-to-be mother-in-law and a grandmother to the two of them, so she deserved all the love they could give her. Especially since she had to out up with Wade's bullshit all-day, everyday.
