I’m on anon because I’m a scaredy cat but what’s your advice for people who want to draw but suck at it (and not like 'ooh I’m bad' I struggle with fine motor skills so I actually suck)? I’m also a perfectionist lmao.

No pressure to answer, it’s a hard question. I really love your art and look up to you as an artist.

well tbh our art also used to suck and we have hard time drawing too, we always drew but somehow it doesnt get better and other stuff,,

well i guess you cna try by experimenting? the reason our art didnt get better is because we keep drawing in the same way and doesnt branch out, try drawing something thta you havent drawn before like maybe a table? it doesnt have to look good and you can just draw it lightly/sketching it, if you dont like it in the end you cna erase it, it doesnt have to look good because its your first time and drawing onc eor twice is better than none. You can even try by tracing! (jsut dont psot it and claim it as urs) its jsut help you get closer to the style you like! from that you cna go and dra won ur own maybe even without reference! You can try sketching first and then erase it lightly, itll help you be more confident with line art and such!! Dont be afrad to try somehting new :}

[and just a little secret (that will soon not be so much of a secret) i barely actually sketch lmao half the time i just draw a lil base on what i want it to look like like for the gift art for winter, we drew a leaned line andd go form there, we hoesntly dont know how but it work?? Of course it look wonky sometime but we did have fun drawing the gift, we didnt even planned the party hat, the clip nor the pink hearts! we jsut went in and it come to us, bit weird but thats still cool :D]
