i hate to say it. not finding the cradle particularly scary GLKSJDFHG
#and ive said it 8 million times here im so bad at horror in games#but like. idk#fun atmosphere!#spooky ass enemies#got jumped a couple of times when i rounded a corner and there was a guy right in front of me but like#i figured out pretty quickly you could off them permanently with holy water#pick the right ones to down and you get effectively free roam of the map#the enemy patrols in the memory sections where you're forced to ghost aren't very difficult either so not that tense#i'm not playing on expert so maybe its worse that way?#but i did try expert for a bit on earlier levels and found the enemy ai way too sensitive#ultimately i do like the level its definitely one of the most interesting ones#and aside from the like. expected Asylum Tropes i do like the design#its up there w the keeper compound (which i did come around on mainly for the architecture)#as where i think the game's art style is working the best#it looks really fucking cool sldkfjgs#and the sound design......#the absolute creepiest part by far was the beginning before i even got into the actual main building#the walk all around the open areas and up to the attic#w/ those freaky noises that would raise/lower in volume and i couldnt tell whether it was just ambience or an actual enemy#that i hadnt seen walking around yet#and the vaguely footstep-y/pounding on door sounds (not the actual door pounding sounds from the attic#like the ones in the ambient track) that was. Mwah
