My personal hc is tht despite the vibes tht vic is a Gentleman n hes still kinda locked into high school mentality so if someone asks abt gar he acts affronted n says hes not a cradle robber. but like to everyone else on the team n outside finds that protest silly bc they are Not sixteen n dont see that big of a difference btwn sixteen n thirteen. But when ur sixteen that distinction is important so even if it was a thing vic isnt admitting to it bc again.. sixteen.

Flashforward years later n Vic's still holding onto the cradle robbing denial which looks even weirder but thts wht happens when youre development gets arrested. Roy has to talk vic thru how hes Not a creep bc he had a crush on a thirteen year old at sixteen n continued to have feelings. Vic doesnt take roy as a good standard for when its not ok to oogle someone three years your jnr so he has to have Star weigh in. Anyway i imagine hes asked upward to no less than fiveteen heroes abt their advice until he finally asks gar on a date
