i kind of have an obsession with emulating amateur vocals with vsynths help

don't pay attention to lin lai at the beginning he's not tuned at all. massive wip and honestly as much as i love tuning like this i'm worried about being hit with hammers!!!! 🤷 1 million voice cracks and off tune notes. for fun. i swear i can tune pleasant style i just think voice breaking/struggling to work with a changing voice would be cool sicne i'm working with male banks on this particular song

#spooks vsynth #wip #spooksposting #funfact this song is slow enough + vocals are pretty flat + pitch (mostly) in nekotuka r's original range so i Was gonna cover it with them #but i realized i kinda wasn't gonna be able to do the song's theme justice with the limitations of vv humming #vv humming is really cool though and i'm still hunting for a song to cover with it #it doesn't handle fast notes well and the pitch drawing is. interesting. very little control over expression #too. but it's a fun challenge #i'm just super picky with what i cover because i drop anything if like. the vibe's mildly off for me while i'm working #anyway ya finally started listening to more iyowa than just kyukurarin and heat abnormal and its Great stuff #i think adipocere and leave you on the back of the earth are my favorites
