I want to write some sweet things about some of the canon teen characters, but to be honest, I cannot imagine people having a serious love in high school. I know people do, so it is probably it is me lol. I can't imagine being the object of someone's sincere affections at that age, or having someone believe mine either since that was never my experience.

#I'm not trying to be disparaging #I just realized part of the reason I have difficulty writing for the flower trio is because I still see them as high schoolers #vs the konoha 11 might be that age but their responsibilities and experiences are far more adult #adolescent romance shapes people's love maps later on #and often first loves don't last #so it's hard sometimes to write fic for characters when I anticipate a break up...#does this make sense? probably not never mind #io shitposts #writing woes
