one thing im especially confused about is jeongmins ranking. ive made my stance on the younger trainees very clear but this is just one thing i cannot wrap my head around. like okay, the majority of p7 watchers have fixated on a bunch of 17 year olds, fine whatever i cant stop yall, but why is he the lowest in ranking out of all of them, when imo he's the best amongst them??? people like throwing around the term "all rounder" and theyre usually wrong when they say it but on the show he's proven he can sing, rap, AND dance really well so i'm seriously not understanding the problem here lmfao
#im still not voting for any of the younger guys but can we stop being ridiculous#i feel similarly about andy and atilla#theyre also really good so im confused about how theyre in the bottom of the ranking when people have clearly been so obsessed with the 07z#justice for jeongmin tbh like if he ever debuts a year or two from now ill definitely be stanning#dabae speaks#project 7

HELLO HELLO SO UR THOUGHTS ON THE RECENT STAGES..???
ok during the whole episode i was just so so stressed so i didnt watch it till the end but i watched all the performances yesterday, tbh all teams deserved to win😔and the voting was kinda...
so time after time : binghua crying while listening to it is so real cuz i feel so emotional even tho i dont understand the lyrics. and youngseo, binghua and chenyu stood out the most to me. like binghua's soft voice reminds me of ricky so much. and youngseo's angelic voice makes me want to cry everytime like his voice is so sweet😭 and our stable king wu chenyuuu like i loved him since love wins all. but i was worried after seeing they were formed together because i was like oh damn they r all vocalists i just know there is gonna be lot of drama and i was right
merry go round : honestly i was so happy because i literally put seyun, andy, kyoungbae, seungho, kenshin and sungmin into mgr lol lol, rlly rlly happy that my pookie bae seungho got 1st place :3 he looked like a cotton candy in that outfit and his broad ass shoulders *sigh* but andy getting last place is foul thats all i have to say 😔
trigger : i was so happy when i found out they were performing together because i almost formed that team too. lynnlynn and yichen stood out the most for me in that performance, definitely because of their angelic vocals🫶🏻 im rlly hoping that yichen and binghua pulls a ricky and debut because if they dont i will kms. but like they can literally debut as a group ngl
breaking news : this is literally minseo, hyunwoo and jiahn's song. but i dont rlly have much to say abt this song cuz is not rlly my type of song 😔 but it somehow feels like this song was just made for hyunwoo? idk but his voice just suits this song so much
kool-aid : breaking news was made for hyunwoo and koolaid was made for everyone's fav diva atilla. i watched the performance on tv yesterday and i was just focused on atilla. out of all the performance i loved kool aid and trigger the most. the stage was decorated so beautifully and adds a little touch to the performance.
alright im done yapping 😜

project 7 post ep 1 picks
main picks
kim dohun - vocal king i WILL make u debut
yichen - straight up i dont remember his audition & i forgot to take notes but iirc he was great and very idol
andy - he was a lot of fun and a lot better than i expected
2nd picks
kang hyunwoo - i started watching for kang hyunwoo and he has a permanent spot on my voting list but i wasnt too crazy about his audition? hes a good rapper but singing is really his strength, he lost me when started rapping and got me back when he sang. i also love his attitude he seems so kind and leaderly
seo kyoungbae - i just liked his audition! good vibes
watching
petch & santa - i liked their audition, petch a little more, so i was surprised when he was deferred → accepted. I'll be keeping an eye out for both of them
kwon yangwoo - idk, i just got a good vibe from him. we'll see
ma jiaxiang - he has his issues but he really would make a good idol, im surprised he isnt just a trainee somewhere. makes me wish this group was 11 because i think he'd do better in a larger, wannaone-esque, or exo-esque group. could say that about a lot of them though
jeon minwook - obligatory bae pick but honestly he's shining here. good for him
voting
jang yeojun - he's so much more noticeable here than on boys planet
binghua - visual pick, saw him at the end of ep 1 & i needed to vote for 14 people so
sakurada kenshin - i liked his audition! looking forward to seeing more from him
atilla - i saw him on asy and never realized that he was from australia lmfao. anyways, i want to see him do well
honestly i was surprised at how much i enjoyed this ep. i just turned it on because i had to do my hair but i got pretty invested? some of the passes were annoying but overall they have some surprisingly good trainees. i really want to know who they'll be managed by. speaking of the final group, i dont like that it's 7 members. when a show doesn't get enough attention (basically any non-mnet non-company run show) the final group needs numbers to get large enough fanbase. plus, im seeing so many trainees who would thrive in a large group. kind of shame. however! the current trend is towards smaller groups so it might be okay, i just think that survival shows have always defied group size trends.
reviving this blog for starlight boys & maybe chuang asia/universe league/project 7 too 😋

A Meticulous Analysis of History.
106:Through meticulous analysis of history, I will find a way to make the people worship me. By studying the conquerors of days gone by, I'll discover the mistakes that made them go awry.
173-b:So that you can make the same mistakes if you just try!
106:By studying the past so carefully, I won't repeat the same mistakes of history.
173-b:You'll never make another mistake, you see, Cause you'll fall asleep from reading all that history.
106:Pay attention, Russell! When Cleopatra reigned as Queen, With Roman leaders she was often seen. But when she had no ruling friend, She found a poison snake to bite her in the end.
173-b:A bite down there I really wouldn't recommend.
106:I won't need world alliances, When I'm commanding everyone's appliances.
173-b:Oh, no, Larry, that would really smart, To be bitten on the bottom by a Cuisinart.
106:Hannibal, book confirms, Tried conquering Italy with pachyderms. Just why he failed, nobody tells, But he never could get past the Roman sentinels.
173-b:And he couldn't find his weapons in the peanut shells!
106:An elephant is not required, If I can use the media to be admired!
173-b:The TV viewers you'll delight, Unless the network puts your show on Sunday night.
106:Atilla was a mighty Hun, He ransacked Asia Minor just for fun. But when he got to Europe's banks, He was routed by an army of heroic Franks.
173-b:I like mine with sauerkraut and mustard, thanks.
106:Why pillage like a criminal? When I can send out messages subliminal!
173-b:Please send a message to that Hun, To see if he can pillage me a hot dog bun? Zort!
106:Caligula was no Boy Scout, He did things that we can't even talk about. The Romans knew he'd lost his head, When he filled a vacant Senate seat with Mr. Ed!
173-b:What's wrong with being friendly with a thoroughbred?
106:Why rule like such a reprobate? When I can put the world in a hypnotic state!
173-b:When everybody's in a trance, You can make the people do a chicken dance!
106:Russell, if you don't stop this foolishness I shall have to hurt you.
173-b:Okay.
106:In France, Napoleon Bonaparte, Thought beating Austria was very smart. But when he took on England too, He was beaten up by Wellington at Waterloo.
173-b:And now he's just a pastry filled with creamy goo.
106:Why conquer with depravity? I'll win the world by undermining gravity.
173-b:And even if your plan falls through, Maybe they will name a pastry after you. Waahahaha!
106:From Genghis Khan to Charlemagne, From Alexander down to Tamburlaine. I find a ruler's tragic flaw, And gain a little wisdom out of each faux pas.
173-b:Don't forget the former Governor of Arkansas!
106:That concludes my little rhyme, I hope this lesson wasn't just a waste of time.
173-b:Well, Larry, I've learned that one thing's true. Every one of them has failed, and so have you!
106:Thank you for that vote of confidence. Now, come, we must prepare for tomorrow night.
173-b:Why, what are we going to do tomorrow night? Sing a song about all the world's cheeses?
106:No, Russell, we shall try to take over the world. Through meticulous analysis of history!

omg project 7... i refuse to watch it (boys planet taught me survival shows will change my brain chemistry and ruin my life) but i do have picks im rooting for, namely jingxiang, yeojun, hyunjae, and yichen--wbu 👀
the dopamine survival shows give me always outweighs the dread they bring me im addicted to the thrill of them i fear (i just hate myself)
idk if i have any solid picks yet tbh. i definitely have a slight bias towards the guys ive already seen before (bopeul guys, sihun, lee hanbin for some reason even though i dont stan fantasy boys??), but theres no one that sticks out to me yet like junhyeon or any of my bp picks did.
there are some other people im keeping my eyes on though! minwook, jaewon, jiwoon, and junwon are people my eyes keep lingering on so i feel like one of them might end up as a pick. i started the show really liking what i saw of andy and atilla on tiktok but i found out theyre 07 liners so i wont be voting for them (even though theyre really good!!), but im definitely looking forward to seeing what they do in the future
#you’ll likely figure out when ive chosen a pick based on how much i’ll start yapping about them#im currently trying to make my way through the 3 hours that is episode 3 so who knows i might even have one by the end of it#dabae’s asks

Holy shit y'all. One of my senators has put put out 3 different campaign ads saying that she's "more conservative than Atilla the Hun" and literally just saying that she wants to kill liberals/leftists (and seemingly the media since in the first ad they were referred to as 'liberal scribes'). She's really priding herself in being ranked the most conservative senator in the country. Like okay, cool, you've literally only been in office long enough to where that means you just fucked up the covid shit.
In short, fuck Kelly Loeffler and if you live in Georgia vote for Raphael Warnock.

Erdogan Threatens to Reverse Local Election Results
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, whose AK Party is facing major defeats this month in local elections, is being accused of behaving like a "dictator" after his threat to remove victorious pro-Kurdish mayoral candidates. Erdogan, addressing supporters this week, issued a stark threat to voters in Turkey's predominantly Kurdish southeast: Candidates deemed sympathetic to the PKK Kurdish separatist group who are elected will be removed. "If you happen to send the opportunities provided by the state to Qandil [where PKK leaders are based in neighboring northern Iraq], we will once again, immediately and without waiting any further, appoint our trustees," Erdogan said. The warning was aimed at Turkey's second-largest opposition party, the pro-Kurdish HDP. Ankara accuses the HDP of being the political wing of the PKK, a charge it denies. Already, dozens of elected HDP mayors have been removed from office and jailed, accused of aiding the PKK. The HDP's leadership is calling on voters to take back control of the towns and cities seized by Ankara. The pro-Kurdish party dismisses terrorist allegations against its candidates. "If they remove any of our successful candidates, it's not that the elected mayors are terrorists but rather Erdogan is a dictator," said Ertugrul Kurkcu, honorary president of the HDP. Validated candidates Kurkcupoints out the Higher Election Board, which administers elections in Turkey, has validated all the HDP's mayoral candidates. The HDP claims any alleged transgressions by its candidates during campaigning should be a matter for the Turkish judiciary, rather than the president. Erdogan's warning is being interpreted as an attempt at voter intimidation. "This is a kind of a threat to Kurdish voters: If you want to have peace and tranquility in the region, you have to elect my candidates. If you vote for the opposition, I will sack the mayors. I am going to lead you like sheep," said Kurkcu. "But after all these huge struggles for democracy, I do not see honorable Kurds or honorable citizens who will accept this threat. Instead, it provokes anger and rebellion." Kurkcu's position may be well-founded. The HDP "will sweep all Kurdish-majority cities and towns despite massive intimidation and black propaganda," predicted analyst Atilla Yesilada of Global Source Partners. Analysts say there is growing anger among many Kurds over the security crackdown that has been in place since the collapse of the 2015 peace process with the PKK. Towns ravaged In Turkey's predominantly Kurdish southeast, many towns and city centers were reduced to rubble as security forces ousted Kurdish fighters. Human rights groups say more than 200,000 people have been left homeless. Along with over 80 pro-Kurdish HDP mayors removed from their posts and imprisoned, dozens of the party's parliamentary deputies languish in jail, including its former charismatic leader, Selahattin Demirtas. They are all being held on terrorism charges. State-appointed trustees now administer nearly all towns and cities in southeast Turkey. Many of the cultural reforms encouraging the Kurdish language have been rolled back, including the use of Kurdish on official signs. Erdogan, in his early years in power as prime minister, had positioned himself as an advocate for Kurdish rights. He was rewarded electorally with his AK Party, securing more votes than the HDP in polls. However, the collapse of the peace process with the PKK amid mutual recriminations saw Erdogan abandon the courting of Kurds and turn toward Turkish nationalism. "There is a lot of distrust by Erdogan. Erdogan was sincerely believing in the peace process and believes the PKK and HDP abused this," said international relations professor Huseyin Bagci of Ankara's Middle East Technical University. Aligned with nationalists Since the December 2015 general election, Erdogan's AK Party has deepened its relationship with Turkey's hard-line Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), which has been in the forefront of calls for a crackdown on the pro-Kurdish movement. With the Turkish economy mired in recession and public discontent mounting, Erdogan now depends on the MHP's support in the March elections. Analyist Yesilada said Erdogan has little choice but to continue his hard-line rhetoric against the pro-Kurdish movement. "AKP doesn't have the votes to retain Istanbul and Ankara," Yesilada said. "Erdogan has to throw something to [MHP Chairman Devlet] Bahceli. ... So we will see the worst manifestations of populism." However, the HDP is determined to make Erdogan pay a heavy electoral price. "In western Turkey, our party is not listing candidates in seven major cities," said Kurkcu, "meaning that we are directing our voters, around 10 percent of the electorate, to add their vote to the general opposition. This is not a vote for the main opposition but rather against Erdogan." The HDP's surprise move could prove decisive, with opinion polls indicating the opposition ahead in many of Turkey's main cities and Istanbul too close to call. Analysts suggest a serious setback for the AKP could be the impetus for Erdogan again resetting the political agenda by reaching out to Kurds and abandoning his Turkish nationalist ally. from Blogger https://ift.tt/2tO4kI8 via IFTTT

Episode #7: "keep me because im so cute :3" - Zach
omg i forgot to confess bc i was so busy.... so this last round was honestly p straightforward. the ~international~ alliance stuck together. i feel bad cos liam is the loml but ): a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do.
lowkey pissed the other tribe didn’t send me to the basement. they can choke !
i’m nervous about the joint tribal bc let’s be real i’ll be going. i’m nervous for whatever tribe goes with us cos if it’s atilla i’m worried someone i’m close with will leave. tho honestly i would flip on stephen z. so we’ll see!
i’m feeling rly close to luke and i’m excited to potentially make merge w him (:
Winning this immunity challenge is a double-edged sword. I'm immune at what will probably be a chaotic joint tribal, and LIKELY going to be making it to the merge soon. At least I hope so. But there's two major drawbacks, and I want to talk about why I'm worried about each of them.
Number one is obvious, I can't socialize with the 4 Kato members that will be at this vote. They'll be meeting 4 more original Takagi members and potentially bonding with them while I'm sitting here in what is basically exile. I need to pay even more attention to my first impressions because these players are definitely going to have some kind of deal going before I show up.
The second is just as important. i won't be at this tribal council, meaning I can potentially lose an ally here without having any ability to change plans for the better. If Karth or Ally get voted out here, my game takes a huge hit. A hit that I might have been able to prevent if I was there with Jess and Alyssa.
But, I'm gonna enjoy this safety while it lasts. I want my last few moments away from the merge to be stress free, since I know things are really going to pick up once every piece is on the board.
i'm going to tribal for the second time this game, and it's a joint tribal. rip. i am riddled with fear and stress.
i don't think i should be targeted. i believe i've maintained a solid social game and appear as a benefit to most people. i trust karthik/tim enough to not vote me, and i think i've developed somewhat of a grounding with jake/miguel. though ally/stephen/luke may identify me as a physical threat, i think ally knows keeping me is best purely for a shield purpose.
however, there is that little voice in the back of your head. the one that says "you're a physical/social threat!" and "it's the (probable) last vote for premerge, why wouldn't they take out a threat???" - though i disagree with this logic in terms of how i feel/play orgs, you can never know until it's too late. personally, i'd be taking out a goat or someone who is playing a similar game as you. if you're a shield, take out a shield. if you're UTR social, take out another person who is UTR and social. you want to be the BEST at your role, and i don't think anyone is as big of a shield as me (atm, of course). maybe i'm overhyping my game (and p.s., in no way am i saying i'm playing a good game, i just mean physically im pretty dominant).
jake mentioned stephen being an endgame threat due to his social game and likeability. he (stephen) is someone i wouldn't mind taking out. i have no connection with him, and he has had a tendency to flip on alliances (confirmed by jake/miguel/ally; the TJ vote). it just seems too obvious.
as for my idol, i'm not sure. if the person i vote (stephen, whoever.) is idolled in any regard, i'm likely idolling. i am NOT leaving premerge with an idol - that's ugly. but it's a tribal with no advantage i fear most. i don't want to overthink it. i've wasted so many idols because i critiqued every little word + action. i want this game to be different. i'm totally using it tomorrow bc im a paranoid mess btw. but i truly would love to save this idol (if i'm safe, of course) for future use.
in the wise words (or title) of that one type of game at the killing floor in Murder Trivia on Jackbox Games:
decisions, decisions…
i KNOW I JUST I CONFESSED BUT
idk. my fear is that it's final 11 right now. merge is in the horizon. if this joint tribal (for me) was any earlier, i'd be more secured i think. they don't need me for tribal immunities anymore. so, what will they decide?? keep me because im so cute :3 or throw me in a ditch and call it a day.
OK SO FIRST SORRY FOR THE LACK OF CONFESSIONALS I'VE BEEN SO BUSY WITH MY 1st ever THEATRE PRODUCTION. And I haven't been able to talk to anyone at all which bites. I am lucky that my team sat me out for this challenge because I woulf have flopped but we flopped anyway lol.
NOW WE'RE AT A JOINT TRIBAL NNNNNNNNN and i do not approve. Jake talked to me and pushed the idea of staying with the 5 on kato 2.0. I totally agree with this but we just need to come up with a name…
By some miracle.... Attila came together this round and... actually..beat.... the... other... two... tribes. LIKE YASSSSS QUEEN YASSSS! I'm almost certain we will be merging next so it's always nice to know that you didn't suck enough to NOT make merge?
Speaking of merge, that's all up in the air for me right now. I still have no idea what my merge plan is.... I'd love to link up with Tim, Karthik, and Stephen but something tells me nothing is ever that simple. I can see a world where Tim, Karth, and Zach got extremely close. I can also see Tim's paranoia about me and Alyssa grow out of control and that's just something I'm going to have to deal with in this game. It's a fact.
I really want to end Zach's game FAST. I'm really afraid he's going to just keep winning immunities and that's going to suck.
Going forward I DO hope the trio of myself, Alyssa, and Stephen stick together but lord... I don't see that lasting very long either..
Let's just say... I'm prepared to get messy. Messica is here y'all!
Something fishy is going on here. So Zach is, without a doubt, the biggest physical threat in this game. Ally tells me the best way to move the votes is to vote out a threat. I say Zach. Ally says no, Karthik and Tim would never vote out Zach. But you just said we should target a threat... Oh, i see, you meant an OG Kato threat. Right, ok. Its worrying that Jake is being shady and lying to me when he really needs to open his eues and see that if he doesnt work with us then OG takagi is gonna vote us out 1 by 1
I’m going home but ive told ally i have an idol cause i might leave but ill be damned if i dont make an impact before i go
a timeline of my thoughts throughout this tribal that i’ll probably end up dying in for being messy: — 12pm: i’m worried about getting votes bc for jake and miguel i’m the only person they don’t know well miguel knows me obviously but not in game — 4pm: THESE PPL ARE ALL MESSY kato 2.0 is gonna control the vote and at this point i’m just gonna seal stephen’s fate byeeee i tried to get a majority but stephen is an idiot and only wants to vote zach so i’m going to go shove him under a bus to zach now and hopefully they’ll kill him ! — 5pm: jk i hate all of og takagi they can all choke stephen is gonna try and get all of og kato to vote together and i'm voting with them bc fuck zach fuck karth ! tim is ok we don't rly talk i'm gonna try to flip miguel i have low hopes but we'll see — 5:30pm: i’m being so messy but i don't even care bc i'm sick of being ignored by ppl who are allegedly!!! my allies!!! — 6pm: WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENINGGGGH I AM LOSING MY MIND I HATE ALL THESE PPL — 6:30pm: so stephen has an idol zach might have an idol let’s pray my messy ass isn’t getting votes for being a messy ass and maybe everything will be ok — 6:47pm: something feels weird. idk what. fuck survivor!
SO I JUST SAW THE MOVIE US. Oh and I will recap on that crazy joint tribal in a second but now I'm at CHILI'S. And I feel a merge in this Chili's tonight.
youtube
Oh my GOD. Oh my G O D!!!!!!! We WON????? HOW????? I’m actually dead cuz we’ve been strategizing literally since yesterday about what we would do in a joint tribal situation. Like I was looking at the results just PRAYING Takagi lost and Anna Jane announced they did and I just felt a huge sigh of relief. But then she announced who was safe????? And it was Attila?? I??????? WOW. I’m just really happy. I mean it sucks I guess cuz now it’s one less round to meet new people and maybe it’ll put me at a disadvantage for the merge that may be coming but like???? My head not being on the chopping block is pretty. Um. YEAH! I’m hoping that they vote out Luke tbh... but I guess we’ll seeeeeeee. For now I’ll enjoy being safe!!!
Stephen W is voted out in a 5-3 vote. He becomes the first member of our jury.

‘Imaginationship’ by Sue Healy Finborough Theatre 7 - 29 Jan 2018 “...everyone knows those classical Greeks were benders” ★★★★ For various reasons I know Great Yarmouth quite well. It’s a town not far from the Norfolk Broads and where Sue Healy has set her play ‘Imaginationship’. Great Yarmouth is a ‘complicated’ place. Daniel Defoe mentions it favourably in his journals: “... for wealth, trade and advantage of situation it is infinitely superior to Norwich.” It was the centre of the Herring industry in East Anglia. It became a very popular Victorian watering hole. The waning fortunes of the Fishing Industry signalled the enormous decline of what was once an extremely pleasant and hospitable town. Today ‘Yarmouth’-as the locals like to call it- is both surreal and melancholic. In 2016 the town voted overwhelmingly to leave the EU. It has large areas of social and economic deprivation. It has a significant Eastern European migrant population, who, on the whole, have not been integrated that well. Yet in the summer months it still attracts huge numbers of tourists to its Golden sandy beaches and elegant piers. (and yes it still has Donkey rides!) Sue Healy reflects and examines this history in her wonderful play ‘Imaginationship’. Healy constructs her piece quite brilliantly. The Classical unities of action, time and place are observed with relish. She’s astute enough to remind us of what she’s doing with constant Greek allusions in her text. She even gives us a ‘Sophoclean’ Chorus who both top and tail her play. (sharp and acute performances from John Sackville and Atilla Akinci.) Ginnie Atkins (played with sensuous and brazen gusto by Jilly Bond) has a crush on Brenda, her childhood friend. Brenda doesn’t reciprocate. In fact Brenda’s sexual urges are of a much more ‘hetro’ persuasion. Patience Tomlinson invests Brenda with enormous dignity. The character maybe ‘amoral’ but Tomlinson makes us completely aware of ‘where she’s coming from’. Her daughter Melody, played by Joanna Bending, in what is the stand-out performance of the evening, has fallen for Tony her evening class classics tutor. (a deft, strong and morally ambiguous turn from Rupert Wickham.) What follows is a story of addiction, in all its forms, obsession and the complicated nature of relationships. Healy’s story is a challenging one. Yet she leavens it with astonishing amounts of humour. Her love of language zings out at us. She peppers her text with some marvellously bad jokes which sometimes are so excruciating they make you laugh out loud. I would have liked the direction of Tricia Thorns to have had more pace. I acknowledge that she was probably trying to reflect the more leisurely pace of East Anglian life. And her scene changes, I felt, were extremely clumsy. Too often there was nothing happening on stage, (something that was drummed into me, from a very early age, should never happen). Mention should be made of the brilliance of Eugene Sully’s sound design. So often sound is forgotten or not commented upon. Here it enhances and reflects on the action quite brilliantly. ‘Imaginationship’ is a play with much food for thought. And, without a doubt, is a tremendous piece of work. Yet I came away from the evening tinged with an unutterable sadness. Probably a mixture of intimations of mortality and the seeming decline of that most beautiful of towns, Great Yarmouth.
