Tisâ the Season for Volunteering!
Even though it is only October, the Believe in Books Literacy Foundationâs focus is on the upcoming holiday season and our famous fundraiser!  Journey to the North Pole⢠event dates open to the general public tomorrow!  After successful advanced ticket sales for our dedicated volunteers, supporting members, and the preferred pre-sale, we look to start prepping for this enchanting experience. As dates are starting to sell out, we look to start recruiting volunteers to help prepare for this magical event.  We are beginning our âVolunteering Tuesdaysâ this coming Tuesday, October 16th at 9:30 am in the lobby of the Theater in the Wood. Volunteers will help fold scarves, tie bells, and assist with assembling our Santa Gift Sets. All volunteers are welcomed with coffee and snacks during their visit. We are so grateful for our dedicated volunteers!  Now you sign up now for our âVolunteering Tuesdays,â and you can also sign up to help with the actual event, Journey to the North Pole⢠in both North Conway and Lincoln.  We are looking for volunteers every night we have a show to either be a greeter at the train station, a chef on the train, or an elf at the North Pole! We ask that volunteers stay for both performances per night and will be provided with dinner and snacks! If you are free on Tuesdays or want to help out during the actual shows, sign ups are available at www.believeinbooks.org and www.journeytothenorthpole.org.  If you have any questions about any of our volunteering opportunities, please feel free to contact our office at 603-356-9980. THANK YOU VOLUNTEERS!
