Neighborhood cooking clubs and libraries lending out more then just books, it's the art club that the community garden started, it's the funky gardens my neighbors have.

It's the DIY projects ppl wear with pride and ones that hide in the back of their dresser drawer. It's in the magazines and podcasts and in passing hope forward.

Like gruella gardening alone is enough for proof of concept for me, but the rise in community events and potlucks and fighting for rent caps and UBI and decentalizing energy and gardening is happening now.

And yea I gotta fight nazis and dickwards daily for it, and I gotta spend the time to educate and build up as I take down, but they can't say this future isn't coming. I'm here with you right now in it.

I tottaly get not having oficial qsmp accs updates, bc like, to it to work you would need MANY admins, like on the accs only for updates into one or two streamers are like +10 admins usually, and sometimes I would see they posting that there we no people to uodate what was happen on livestream, so for the OFICIAL qsmp acounts that need to update ALL of streamers there should be like +100 people. And +100 people are extremelly hard to maintain, even if that continued to be just a vollunter position (witch you are not paid), having to keep an eye at all of the admins would be so fucking hard, like how you sre going to keep "taking care" of +100 people, not counting the others admins?? To do that or he would keep a eye on +100 people or him would contract more people to keep a eye on them (we already saw that this didnt work well and It would cost more). So I totally get not having the updates accs like it used to be, even bc we already have unficional updates accs and people liveblogging the livestreams so yeahhh this is my opnion

Just found out one community association near me has a community toy library. Basically a community toy store where you sign out toys like you would library books.

And it really woke up how badly I want a library economy.

Cosmetic libraries in place of salons and make up stores- sign out hair accessories or jewlery, sign up for a haircut/makeup day with a vollunteer that you mesh with, etc..

Toy libraries to replace toy stores, holidays and birthdays now bring you down to borrow bikes and stuffed animals that have been loved by others, to borrow dolls and dollhouses and their endless closests and accessories.

Craft libraries filled with sewing machines and looms and supplies to make things, classes to learn how to do it, making clothes for friends never been so easy because the endless amount of patterns available. The craft clubs that would bloom from it. The ceramics and painting and welding art that could come out of it if we just all had time and access.

Engineering and woodworking libraries. We could be living in a real animal crossing Era of furniture! The weird and cool lighting and other oddities that would come from it!

Clothing libraries that are busy during the season change but also regular shopping. I dont use this dress I love anymore so I'll return it to the library and get something in this new color pallet for myself.

Kids libraries that yes, filled with toys but also cribs, highchairs, walkers, jumpers, pumps, bottles, cups, etc.. things that kids use less then a year at a time and never really get fully used before passing it onwards. Oh to be able to borrow a well loved crib or rocking chair for your newborn

I have to be there when we fire an associate for attendance. He shows up late constantly, usually "i slept in" or something simple and correctable, and im told by the coaches he needs to be fired and i knowwwwww im gonna tear up, choke up when im in that office firing him. I feel so bad. Hes a great worker, he just is late almost every single day by almost an hour. And especially with his ability as a worker, they feel robbed of his ability by him being late. Understandable. But did anybody vollunteer to ask him why hes late or ask him if hes okay? Or maybe giving a fuck about this dude as a person regularly? There could be things we dont know that are contributing to his lateness or unmotivation (maybe he doesnt like his position anymore?) That was neglected before it was decided that he should be let go. If my input had mattered at all, i wish any personal info i DID know about this guy would have been taken into consideration. I feel terrible and it wasnt even my decision. It was actually against my decisions because i had been clearing his late points knowing that this good worker would never have a crappy pointless reason to show up late. I know i can be a pushover as a manager sometimes but nothing makes me feel worse than taking someones livelihood away from them.
