This is Cassion Fitch, my Volcurin OC.

He is an Owl wing Volc. He is very difficult to upset, with an extremely cheerful and sometimes over enthusiastic attitude. Generally wears short clothing in bright colors. Enjoys books and soccer. He is a graceful flyer but sometimes a bit of a clumsy runner. He is also awkwardly tall but doesn't let that bother him

The grumpy blueberry is Aquin Gallas, a 30yr old hawk-wing. He’s a ground-fighting soldier, known for his reserved nature and lack of conversing (he’s extremely quiet, but not shy). Despite his bland, secretive public self, he’s a passionate violinist and dog-enthusiast who’s lived a life of solitude. That is, until he met Corvid.

Aquin’s grumpy because he’s got a legendary resting bitch face. It takes a lot of effort to make him express anything physically, getting him to smile is like a gold medal. Other than that, he’s just focused and stoic

Who are the gay birds, is one of them missing an arm and why are they so beautiful?

Those gay birds are Corvid (the Indian raven-wing) and Aquin (the big one armed bab)! Corvid is an astronomer/ stellar cartographer while Aquin is a ground-fighter swordsman for the Caelumian army!Aquin lost his left arm during one of the major war battles against another race. He had a custom prosthetic made so he could continue playing his violin.They’re beautiful because they love each other so much and that makes anyone beautiful. Also I have a tendency to make really cute ocs

I’ve sorta been wondering, and this is especially because I’ve sorta wanted to make a Seeker OC myself too, is it possible for Volcurins to be nocturnal? Sorta been on my mind lately and I somewhat wanted to add that bit but I wasn’t sure if it is possible so I just decided to ask (sorry if my grammar isnt all that good, english isn’t exactly my first language)

EEE,,,IF U DO I’D LOVE TO SEE!! So, naturally, no. Volcurins are more strictly diurnal than humans, due to their bird-like internal clock. Volcurins often wake up before the sun rises, and sleep after it sets, just like birds. They are very sensitive to daylight.

BUT! A volcurin can absolutely become nocturnal on their own! They can mess their sleep schedule up for sure, but it would be inconsistent naturally.

Don't answer if you don't want. But is it possible for Seeker and Sniper to have children together?? Do they want kids?? As a side note I love your blog and please keep posting about Seeker. She is an OC I like. This is coming from someone who hates OCs. Have a good day fam.

The true answer is no. Volcurins and Humans are actually close enough in DNA to reproduce, but the probability of it working is SUPER low. Like….crazy low. Not only does this apply, but Avian has primary ovarian disorder (which is pm where your ovaries decide to go on menopause reaaally early but then sometimes just randomly decide to function. She’s only ovulated a few times in her life so it’s even MORE difficult for her to have kids.). ALSO Avian is very very active and women are less fertile when active a lot (bc something about the body not feelin ready to have a kiddo when ur movin) So no they really can’t, but the thought is nice. As for WANTING kids…I’m gonna say also a no, but a reluctant one. Having kids would be a hassle for two people who want to be free and travel all the time, but adoption is always an option that they would have probably have considered a few times

what's the difference between a volcurin and a regular winged person/avian?? can you make winged people and not have it be considered a volcurin??

Well, winged people is a concept that anyone can explore, much like how dragons are a beast anyone can mess with! So of course you can??? I would never ever try to tell you what you can and can’t make.There is no ‘regular’ winged person (or avian) because it’s a concept that everyone can have a different take on if they wish! My volcurins are ‘winged people’ but I have altered more than just their appearances. They’re not just humanoids with wings. They have unique elements I’ve put into them myself; such as the hair and wing color connection, the eye layer, the culture, the home, the religions, cuisine, behavior.

Just as the dragons from Eragon are different from the dragons of Harry Potter, volcurins are my take on a bird-like humanoid species and claiming that your oc is a volcurin specifically (so they follow all I have written) is when I’d like you to ask permission since they are part of my story and work :)
