how much I like them (0-10): 6, because I absolutely cannot play him at all and he is hell to play again. I like his look, though, and his lore is interesting!mastery level: don’t own himmastery points: see above! favorite skin: Snow Day. Again, I like blue.worst/weakest skin: Hm, I don’t see many skins in game besides Battle Boss, Winter Wonderland and Classic. Maybe Vizier based off the splash?favorite quote: "Oblivion awaits!" Look, I am perpetually sleep-deprived and stressed. The thought of nice peaceful oblivion is damn tempting so Malzahar better intend to keep that promise.if I like to play against this champ: No. Noooooooooo. Heck no. Leaving

There is a small puncture mark on Talon’s ankle. It’s tiny, nothing more than a dot of red, and Talon doesn’t even notice it. His thoughts are occupied by the discussion he just had with Vel’Koz; in the horizon, Shurima looms like a giant sandcastle that Talon automatically trudges towards. He’s made the walk from Vel’Koz’s home amidst the dunes to Shurima often enough that he doesn’t need to think about it. He just needs to keep walking while his mind mulls over the new information that Vel’Koz has fed him.

There is a small puncture mark on Talon’s ankle. It’s surrounded by swollen red skin, but Talon isn’t aware of it. His trousers cover the poisoned flesh and the bite happened while he was asleep. It doesn’t hurt anymore than a bite from a sand midge would and so he ignores it, steadily walking on towards Shurima. The city shimmers in his sight, like a mirage, but it must just be the heat getting to him. The way that the world blurs at the edges faintly – that, too, must be the heat. He’ll stop and rest for a bit if he has to, pour some water over his headcloth and wrap it over his hair to protect him.

There is a small puncture mark on Talon’s ankle. It’s radiating purple lines upwards though Talon can’t see them. He’s unconscious on the sands, fallen on his side. The toxin is spreading rapidly through him, helped on by the constant movement of his body and the rapid circulation of his blood. Where he was bitten, there’s an angry red throbbing mass, now steadily weeping clear fluid from its center. His leg is swollen right up to the knee, the veins now purple instead of blue, and the poison is traveling steadily upwards to his heart.

Out of curiosity, why do you ship Malz/Talon? Not trying to bash at all, just genuinely curious because it’s a ship I haven’t seen before :o

his fingers are cool; his fingers are smoke. the nails dissolve and pour down talon’s throat. he swallows Freljord-cold air and his veins glow purple.

‘a little more,’ mal’zahar says, stroking talon’s throat to coax him to swallow. the cool ripple of his fingers against talon’s skin makes talon shiver and mal'zahar's hand drifts downwards. ‘a little more, assassin. a little more and it won’t hurt anymore.’

he’s dying. he’s dying and it hurts and he can’t remember if he was dying before mal'zahar arrived or if it’s mal'zahar's fault that he’s dying.

he knows he’s dying though. he fixes his eyes on the sky and waits for the kindred.l

‘they’re not coming,’ mal'zahar says and talon frowns. did he say that out loud?

‘no.’ mal'zahar's fingers reform, solid as blocks of ice against his tongue, and ease out of talon’s mouth. ‘but the void can hear you now.’

wet, cool fingers stroke over talon’s cheek and mal'zahar smiles down at him dreamily.

‘soon you will hear it too.’

. ekko’s parents (in like... the verse where they’re alive LOL) are completely shut out from his anti-criminal & gang activities. we all knew that, but the real point of this headcannon is that he convinced them that his hair went white due to stress. i’m not fucking kidding he wrote them a fake scientific report about it and they BOUGHT IT. the real reason is b/c of hextech radiation. but hey. this is also the BEST prank a kid has gotten away with, ever,

“It doesn’t require the gift of second sight to augur such display of ignorance, mortal.”

An amused chuckle escaped the prophet’s throat who seemed to speak without moving his lips. Strangely enough, his voice didn’t seem distorted or muffled in any way despite the scarf covering the lower half of his face.

“In your very limited comprehension, speech appears to be the only means of making oneself heard. How fatuous. When clearly deeds speak louder than words.”

“...” Augur? Fatuous? Talon’s blank expression made it clear that at least part of Malzahar’s speech had gone over his head. He could assume from context what the words meant or at the very least, guess that ‘fatuous’ was some sort of insult. Augur, however, was tougher. Augur... augmented? They sounded alike. It didn’t take second sight to increase a display of ignorance? No. That made no sense. 

Deciding to dismiss that first sentence and look up the words when he got home, Talon tackled the second part. “So your deeds say... look out, monsters live somewhere else, occasionally they break through and eat people? That’s not going to make anyone else worship the Void. Maybe start figuring out ways to make their flesh poisonous to Void-creatures, but that’s it.” Malzahar’s voice not being muffled by the scarf was a neat trick though, Talon had to admit. He usually wore his own red scarf over his face but he had to remember to speak loudly and clearly if he wanted to have people understand him even with it pulled up. Was it magic? Was Malzahar somehow projecting his voice like a ventriloquist?

“The world? The entire world?” Talon arched his eyebrows at Malzahar, canting his head slightly to a side in response to the prophet’s hyperbole. “Even the Vastayans? Because I don’t think they care about the Void. Too busy fighting the Ionians. Or the people from the Freljord. Too busy fighting each other and trying not to freeze to death. You might get some people in Shurima to listen but they’ve always worshipped gods and Ascended anyway. They’re an easy sell.”

He considered Malzahar’s statement for a few more seconds and asked, “What about the Shadow Isles? Have you preached to them? You should try. You could explain to Yorick that his ghouls will be eaten by the Void and he can explain that actually, they’re already dead and won’t care.”

His eyes brightened, “Or the Marai. They live underwater, I’m sure they haven’t heard your words. Someone in Piltover must be able to build you a breathing apparatus to let you talk underwater and inform them of what’s coming.”
