Sending this to u because u are an incredible Jewish feminist and this really needs attention :(
Three antisemites attacked a French Jewish woman, threatening her with a knife while calling her antisemitic slurs, including referencing the October 7 massacre. The police identified swastikas graffitied on her body.
https://m.jpost.com/breaking-news/article-823767
A French source said this: Trois hommes l'auraient frappée et auraient proféré des menaces antisémites. Les individus auraient également menacé leur victime à l'aide d'un cutter et l'auraient forcée à baisser son pantalon. THEY FORCED HER TO PULL HER PANTS DOWN. https://www.cnews.fr/faits-divers/2024-10-07/paris-une-femme-victime-dune-agression-antisemite-par-trois-hommes-dans-le
This hate crime is getting no attention. Idk what to do. Jewish women are constantly let down by everyone.
In September, a memorial garden in Nogent-sur-Marne, France, dedicated to two female victims of gruesome antisemitic murders in Paris in 2017 and 2018, respectively, was defaced with a swastika.
https://www.jns.org/france-antisemitic-tag-at-memorial-for-murdered-jewish-women/
It gets fucking worse. One of the victims was Halimi, an Orthodox Jewish woman in her sixties, died in 2017 after being pushed out the window of her Paris flat by a man who was shouting "Allahu Akbar" during the act. Her killer got away because the french court determined he was "in a psychotic state from marijuana use" and therefore couldnt be held criminally responsible. IN 2021. https://www.timesofisrael.com/top-french-court-wont-prosecute-jewish-womans-killer-because-he-was-on-weed/
thank you for informing me of this, it is absolutely disturbing. for those reading this post, this may sound like old news (bc there have been so many attacks on jews in france in the past year) but the linked articles are from oct 2024.
man what the FUCK is going on with french antisemites. the halimi case (which i posted about back in 2021) and then the 12 year old girl who was raped, and now this. not to mention the hundreds of incidents that didn’t make the news.
tye sad reality is that most of tumblr, including self-proclaimed “feminists” will actively try to ignore this because caring about jews is really not in vogue rn (i mean it never was but now its seen as particularly un-progressive.) it makes me want to scream. ugh.

Photopher Kurt Markus
Vogue Hommes, Paris 1991.
My journey to you was long,
my whole life I always looked for you
In meandering greedy encounters
with others, and you didn't come.
And as far as your gaze opened,
I passed through shadows and muffled
noises, but only purity of sounds
transpired from me - for your love.
I cried for every caress of yours,
before it was born I defended it,
and I kept our future meeting
patiently in my chest.
My journey to you was long,
immensely long, and when you
finally appeared before me,
I recognized you, but I barely recognized myself.
I had gathered immense spaces within me,
boundless aromas, timbres and desires,
and I now embraced a space so vast
that you had to stop next to me.
It was a long journey to you,
and it brought us together for a brief meeting.
Knowing that… again I would choose
this long path to you.

The Tellers Auguri
Juergen teller and Dovile Drizyte
Steidl, Göttingen 2022, 17x25cm, 288 pages, 274 images, Hardback, ISBN 978-3-96 999-093-3
euro 45,00
email if you want to buy [email protected]
“We are building our future together” declared Juergen Teller and Dovile Drizyte on their wedding invitation, the words handwritten on a photo of the couple proudly wearing nothing less than safety hats and jackets, as they strike a pose on a construction site. This set the celebratory, irreverent tone for their wedding in Naples, an occasion they ensured was an unforgettable, multi-day experience for their guests, in a city they love for its gritty beauty and the warmth of its people. Auguri is Teller and Drizyte’s uninhibited visual diary of their wedding adventure, from initial location scouting to the welcome party with rooftop dancing overlooking the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. From the ceremony to the formal dinner―where each lucky guest received an unexpected gift from the bride and groom, a ceramic plate signed and printed with a different motif from the “We are building our future together” series―and the night’s undeniable highlight: a delightfully dirty performance by subversive drag queen Christeene and her band. From the lazy Sunday afterwards, on a local beach with gelati, calamari and ping pong, to the honeymoon in Sicily. Auguri is at once Teller and Drizyte’s personal thank you to their guests, and their tongue-in-cheek tribute to amore in all its vital, unadorned and fabulous forms.
Juergen Teller, born in Erlangen in 1964, studied at the Bayerische Staatslehranstalt für Photographie in Munich. His work has been published in influential magazines such as Vogue, System, i-D, POP and Arena Homme+, and has been the subject of solo exhibitions including those at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London, the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain in Paris and Martin-Gropius-Bau in Berlin. Teller won the prestigious Citibank Photography Prize in 2003, and from 2014 to 2019 held a professorship at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste Nürnberg. His books with Steidl include Louis XV (2005), Marc Jacobs Advertising, 1998–2009 (2009), Siegerflieger (2015), The Master IV (2019), Handbags (2019), Leben und Tod (2020) and William Eggleston 414 (2020).

Perez has also worked with many major designers, on projects including Azzedine Alaia and Gianni Versace’s advertising campaigns and Dolce and Gabbana’s catalogue. 7 Dior Homme’s Fall 2025 Show Exudes Sharp Elegance At Paris Fashion Week Men’s Dior Homme made a splash at Paris Fashion Week Men’s! Creative director Kim Jones showed his latest Dior menswear collection to a starry audience—including Kate Moss, Robert Pattinson, and Gwendoline Christie—near the Seine River. Against a minimalist white interior, Jones’ Fall 2025 offerings were equally quiet in a core palette of black, cream, dark blue, and frosty pink—seen across single-breasted suiting, smoothly draped coats, cozy sweaters, sleek leather totes and satchels, and numerous wide-legged trousers. While monograms were widely absent from the line, “Dior” lettering was seen across coordinating silken blindfolds placed on numerous models. In a similarly subtle nature, accents like rounded buttons and delicate silver charms acted as brand markers, proving the impact of house signatures without logos. However, there was still space for surprises—including textured and shearling-lined jackets, flowing silk tops, and a viral pink kimono-style coat covered with gray florals, silver sequins, and iridescent beading.  Bravo! All images: Courtesy of Dior Plum Sykes Returns to Fashion Media With A New Substack Column! Who’s going to go wear a chiffon Dolce and Gabbana skirt…on Substack? Only Plum Sykes! The author and Vogue alumni has just launched her first Substack newsletter, P.S. by Plum Sykes. Sykes broke the news herself on her Instagram page on Friday, shouting out Emily Sundberg and Leandra Cohen as inspirations. Expect lots of fashionable fun on P.S., which will include Sykes’ musings on living fashionably and her tips for shopping for denim, homeware, and much more! We can’t wait to enter Sykes’ new era and see where Substack takes her—especially when her first full-length post goes live on Tuesday! P.S. by Plum Sykes (Courtesy of Plum Sykes) Alan Cumming Lets Loose With Kirill Kabachenko For Out Magazine! If anyone inhabits wild style, it’s certainly Alan Cumming! The actor and entrepreneur is front and center on Out Magazine’s new Entertainment Issue cover, whimsically draped in a bow-accented shirt and vest by Tanner Fletcher. For his steamy Tom of Finland-inspired editorial by Arnaldo Anaya-Lucca, Cumming poses with leather-clad heartthrob Kirill Kabachenko in dynamic looks from Tanner Fletcher, Burberry, Dior, Calvin Klein Underwear, KidSuper, Zankov, John Hardy, Giuseppe Zanotti, and Camperlab, styled by Sam Spector. His accompanying cover story with EIC Daniel Reynolds finds Cumming opening up about hosting the latest season of Peacock’s hit show The Traitors, plus his latest chapter as fashion darling. Check out the full spread now on Out.com! Alan Cumming (Arnaldo Anaya-Lucca) Bob Mackie’s Fashionable Naked Illusion Documentary Screens at The Roxy Hotel! The Roxy Hotel was the hotspot to visit on Tuesday night—but not just for its cocktails and mood lighting! Bob Mackie made a special appearance at the venue’s Roxy Cinema for a special screening of his stylish documentary, Bob Mackie: Naked Illusion. Directed by Matthew Miele, the film covers Mackie’s career beginnings, personal life, and star rise while dressing celebs including Cher, Miley Cyrus, Carol Burnett, and more (expect plenty of major cameos, from Tom Ford to Zac Posen)! After the show, Mackie sat down with Vogue editor Chloe Malle for a live chat about his impressive design career, top moments, and what he really thinks about designers recreating his iconic looks from the ’70s, ’80s, and more on the red carpet. (Courtesy of The Paley Center for Media) Pamela Anderson Chats With Martha Stewart For Elle ‘s January Issue! Today, Pamela Anderson is more relevant than ever—so much so that she’s Elle‘s latest covergirl! The Last Showgirl star fronts the magazine’s January 2025 digital issue in sleek McQueen suiting and Louboutins, captured by photographer Adrienne Raquel. Inside her feature, Anderson converses with none other than Martha Stewart—who interviews the actress on her new career chapter, eating healthy, baking bread, and her viral decision to go makeup-free. Of course, there’s plenty of sleek fashion throughout the editorial, where Anderson poses in Valentino, Prada, Max Mara, Saint Laurent, and more—all complete with gleaming Pandora jewels. You can check out the full interview now on Elle.com!
