I'm currently (as in just started) writing a Commander Thire x F!Reader AU Fic.

The reader lost her whole family in a fire, and isn't handling it well at all, so she abandons her life to run away to Mandalore where she owns an Orchard (her hope being that the Mandalorians won't care if she just fades away), unfortunately for her, Thire is her neighbor, and he's going to make sure that she sees that there is life beyond her loss.

I have...about 200 words so far, lol (and I should be working on my requests, but there's a depressing lack of Thire fics and I'm going to fix that.)

Am I gonna start something for every day of the week? Not that I'm aware of, LOL. But let's give this a try? Maybe I'll alternate fanfic and fanart... Or make a separate day. Who knows.

Quiet evening cycle in our venator. I've been killing time painting these clone minifigures. As you can see in the holo, on my desk there are lots more waiting to be painted. This takes time, there's so much detail, and I find it relaxing. These will be used for 104th battalion-wide strategy planning in the war room, demonstrating which unit goes where. With the General, of course. I hope he finds this pleasing and easy on the eye.

5. “Republic Commando” Fox articulated the words in such manner that could have been an insult."

This one takes place in the same story as the wip with Prudii . I said over there that the Prudii one is one possible starting for a multichaptered fic. Basically I try merge together Republic Commando and The Clone Wars, and mostly it would be from the POV of my own OC, Forty-six. In this start, the Coruscant Guard is present right from the start, doing a raid on the SO BDE building, looking for Dogma. Let's just say, the Guard and Commander Fox here are not going to plan to adopt him into their ranks...

I highlighted Fox's cartoon villain traits and had him monologuing. :D I started it in english but I lost the spoons and patience midway so I wrote it in Hungarian instead.

Fox is such a prick, I love him.

"8. When I peek into the scope"

And this one is actually one of my earliest fics when I was in my Bad Batch phase. ^^ Crosshair used to be my main blorbo.

Because I recently also started to go back to first person POV writing, I found this story also relevant to start working with again. I used the personality that was present in their arc in TCW, but also made him neurodivergent as fuck.

“Sir, would you please put down that… thing?” Oh suck my pale dick you miserable fucking sod. I turn my head to the voice of a young lady, and when I peek into the scope I see shapes of thermodetonator sized boobs under a white shirt and the small silouettes of lace bra, matching in color and red tie. Following the almost invisible texture patterns sewn into her shirt, up until his necklines where she desperately tried to hide a hickey with a makeup I finally get to see a disaproving frown of her chapped mouth - probably lack of dehydration, the air is humid, and the is temperature artificially controlled to be always pleasantly warm but not too warm therefore the weather couldn’t have been an issue, but lack of self-care -, the acnes on her chin and nose indicated young age, the the flashing eyes of angry blues told tales about how is she is going to throw me out of the Cafhouse. Tech is not here so it must be me. So I lowered a scope and stared right into her eyes. “Problem?” “Please, put that thing away, sir” the waitress glared at me back, but I can see she is scared to confront me. It’s actually both comforting and disturbing in a way I haven’t planned any confrontation for today. I disguised my disgust for her lack of knowledge about basic military tech as a conversation starter. “That thing is a scope, miss.” “Whatever it is, it’s making our customers uncomfortable.” I apparently failed. “’M a customer too.” She couldn’t argue with that which made me exceptionally satisfied. I have all the time in the galaxy so I just watched the tiny drop of sweat appearing on her temple from her pores. “Our customers are not feeling safe someone watching them through a binocular.” “Still a telescopic sight, miss.” Poor girl probably confused it with the monocular, but hell, it’s in the name, BI-nocular, meaning there are two refracting telescopes pointed into the same direction with the ability to create three-dimensional image and illusion of depth.

I had no directions with this story, just vibing with Cross. He is a prick too. xD

Monnk le Vod'ika Grande is basically a series of cobbled together ideas that I've been slowly going through and cannibalizing for other works. It was mainly written by an old co-author I had back in 2021, with discord convos and 3am rambles.

It is literally only 4 paragraphs of rambling, and only 3 of them pertain directly to Monnk or Fisto lol

Here's a section I have deemed Safe for Public Consumption:

"CC-4583, hold his hand and walk him slowly. SHAAK TI FUCKING PLANNED THIS BC SHE KNEW BABY BOY NEEDS TO BE HELD AND THAT KIT IS A FUCKING HUGGER

Kit Karking Fisto is hanging out with his wonderful Commander in the Senate building, the Mon Cala Senator has arrived and they were the escort, one of the bitchier Senators calls Monnk to soft and stupid to even have the honor of being considered canon fodder, it was prolly that one Kaminii, and Kit Karking Fisto pushes her down the stairs, Picks up his Commander, and leaves"

Oceanic Discovery

Literally been working on this for over 3 years. That sounds impressive - it is not. Especially considering the fact that it's been rewritten 4 times and has sprouted 2 other fics that need to be completed and posted in sequence with it. It's a mess, I love it dearly, it's the bane of my existence.

General timeline places it after the Blue Shadow Virus and after Rex was shot in the chest- but I made both slightly more severe and the Clones a little more particular and paranoid about who exactly is allowed to care for their Captain (there's a lot of lore and background behind that decision that I will not explain here. Perish.) Basically leading them to break Rex out of Naboo and send him on a shuttle w only Kix to Coruscant in order to recover the majority of his medical care from literally their top scoring clone CMO.

That's the only background I'm giving as THATS COVERED IN ANOTHER 3 WIPS, OMG WHY AM I DOING THIS.

There is no symbol for loss.  Mandalorians worship life, their tribe, the continuity of their creed and bloodlines. They sing about their wars, the sounds of drums like the first feet that crossed their lands, and their weapons sing with them, metal on metal. There are words for the dead - Ni su'cuyi, gar kyr'adyc, ni partayli, gar darasuum - that rings like a mantra, like it would change anything, the constant hammering of his failures an echo of the living forge next to him. And Paz finds himself staring at the mountain of discarded beskar'gam, unable to blink away the tears that gather in his eyes. They have lost, again and again, and this was Paz's personal failure — Cabur. They had vowed, and Paz had repeated the words. Cabur. What good is it, if his strength and artillery cannot protect. "Vod'ika." She says, and Paz feels the slight shake of her fingers on his flight suit. She calls him that still, when Paz sits by her forge as if he is a youngling again, words a mile a minute that she listens to despite the deafening sound of the forge. Probably any of my Modern!AU fics have great endings, but that's because they're all mostly happy fics!!

I haven't gotten any hate on a fic, at least not yet!! :D

I've only dabbled in it twice, and it was a bit kinky, but nothing too wild I think? I'd like to write something more adventurous someday :D

I have this big long grief fic I wrote, I'm probably not going to post it because I was in an iffy place when I wrote it, I also get really embarrassed about writing things sometimes so there's a few things that'll never break the surface but that's okay!!!

I've been told I write great imagery and descriptive scenes!! I also like to write dialogue, and I've been told my characterisation is good :D!!!

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

ACTION. SCENES. I hate them. They hate me. And I struggle with pacing !!!! Sometimes I write too many POW POW scenes and don't give enough time to breathe between!!!

I apologise SINCERELY to the language and anyone who speaks it when I try because I use Google Translate like its the bible. I'm not the best at it 😭

Primarily The Bad Batch now, maybe Clone Wars here and there. My fandom writing migrates. Used to be Doctor Who, then Supernatural, then The Clone Wars, and Rebels.

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

Apparently my top 5 are fics I don’t even care about anymore. *sigh* Not providing links because of how meh I am about these.

2. Take Me Home (I actually didn’t realize this was in my top 5), it’s a Supernatural fic),

Definitely May I Have This Dance? Oh, how I adore that fic. I wrote it based on art I love so much, and the artist even let me put their art in the fic!!

Used to years ago, so now I still feel dread in the pit of my stomach when I get an AO3 comment email. The dread thankfully doesn’t show up all the time now.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Oh, hell yeah, I do! Not sure about what kind. It’s just, I don’t know, smut.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

I do not.

11. Which fic are you proud of but wish had gotten a bigger response from your readers?

Maybe The World Goes Cold? But I am maybe releasing chapters too slowly, so I guess it makes sense the response isn’t as big.

I think I’ve had a couple translated into Russian.

I tried to do so with my brother a couple of times, but we never finished them. I don’t think either of us really understand how the co-writing process works.

14. What’s your all-time favorite ship?

Tbh, I always feel the most when I think about or see anything involving Whoufflé/Whouffaldi from Doctor Who. They were my OTP from 2013 to 2016. Might still be the case!

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

You know, I had ones I did want to finish, but now, I’m not even sure I want to.

Still, I guess Blackout, and Three Birds, One Stone held a lot of my attention for a few years. But with the fic content now being triggering for me, and with a brain injury, I feel as if I may have moved on.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I have been told my descriptions are incredibly visceral, and I might agree. I’ve been on the edge of my seat or emotional more than a few times during my editing process. I also like to consider the fact that I’m writing at all a strength given I have a brain injury that gives me memory problems and aphasia.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Well, I’d say say the memory problems and aphasia cause some weaknesses. I have caught a couple weirdly-worded errors and it’s slightly embarrassing. Does Omega shredding my outline multiple times count as a weakness? lol I suppose another weakess is spelling and forgetting words and struggling to find the right words. I often have to look things up. But as far as things like description, dialogue… I’m not sure I struggle there.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language?

I’d take a crack at French! I used to be able to read and write in French very easily.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

The Lord of the Rings. I was 8.

20. Favorite fic you’ve written?

Probably Brother, Hold Me Up, and it’s still going!

#45: Favorite book villain?

I really love Grand Admiral Thrawn, of the Thrawn trilogy, by Timothy Zahn. The villain in The Blood Spell, by C. J. Redwine (excellent Cinderella retelling) is pretty scary/ cool in an evil way. And, of course, I adore Count Olaf, from A Series of Unfortunate Events. He's hilarious.

#49: What is the best title you've come across?

Not to be repetitive, but the titles of the Sword of Lyric series are pretty cool. The second and third book titles have dual meanings in rather fond of.

Also, A Series of Unfortunate Events has pretty great book titles. Alliteration, and all that. I don't know that I have one favorite book title overall, TBH.

(This is Cody POV of “never knowing where we’re going”, so all warnings therein reserved. Except it’s Cody’s POV, so gonna bump that dubcon up to a noncon.)

When Cody pulls off the bucket last of all, he's hit with a stellar flare of fear-panic-resignation.

Maul stares at the bed, looking completely lost, and the feelings crest when he says, "How should I..."

Oh, Cody thinks, and his mind helpful dredges back old considerations. His fingers start to itch. Vod'ika thinks I want to fuck him.

He's not wrong, is the funny thing, but while those burning embers in Cody's gut are stoked just at the thought of rolling around those sinfully soft sheets with Maul, he doesn't sense any answering desire in his vod'ika. So, that's—interesting. "On your belly," he manages, sounding a little husky to his own ears as he skims out of his kute as quickly as possible. And he doesn't get even a hint of backlash at the directive, so he says, "Put a pillow underneath your hips," wondering if that'll get his fiery little brother's back up.

It doesn't.

Ones that I have like. three sentences and bullet points down for? uh. lets just kinda ball park it at a few dozen. The one I’m really having fun with right now is “Arla Fett saves the galaxy by being a good aunt (working title)”

Jango figured he had four seconds to make his escape, and glanced frantically around, considering launching himself out the window into the ocean below. Three. Except he didn't have a jetpack. Two. And it was monsoon season. One. He sighed and resigned himself to his fate.

Arla launched herself at him, wrapping her arms around his middle and lifting him off the ground. "Hey vod'ika!"

"Arla. Please. Arla put me down." He pleaded. "Arla. I'm trying to teach a class."

She sighed, and spread her arms to the side, dropping him suddenly. He stumbled slightly, and glared at her. "You are awful."

The class of clone cadets gaped up at them.

So, I've been working on this fic for close to four hours now, and this is an actual scene that I wrote. But I think I finally found my groove with this fic.

“I mean, not really?” You say, as you look anywhere but at Sev’s face, “You’re…ridiculously attractive even on a bad day, and the best I can manage is Hot Mess on a good one-” “You’re beautiful and I’m in love with you.” Sev interrupts. “I-...uh…thanks?”  Sev releases a short laugh and presses his forehead against yours, “You’re welcome.”
