Jugemu Jugemu* Gokou no Surikire* Kaijarisuigyo no* Suigyoumatsu Unraimatsu Fuuraimatsu* Kuunerutokoro ni Sumutokoro, hold on!*
If you thought I would continue this name in this song That's a huge mistake!
Jugemu Jugemu* Gokou no Surikire* Kaijarisuigyo no* Suigyoumatsu Unraimatsu Fuuraimatsu* Kuunerutokoro ni Sumutokoro, hold on*
I don't know a longer name than this I have never come across one I do know important shorter names
To make you happy Let's assemble a sequence of love Just press the buttons before you* And the Happy Gauge will go up* Press ▲ and × eight times* Then ● and ■ hectically* Like an eastern storm A barrage will come occasionally* Be careful!
To make you happy Let's assemble a sequence of love Sometimes you'll miss the place to tap* And the Happy Gauge will go down!* Don't give up until the end Hold all the buttons* And the hidden ♥ button Will appear, don't hesitate to press it With both hands you purposefully press it Now I wait for your kiss!
Jugemu Jugemu* Gokou no Surikire* Kaijarisuigyo no* Suigyoumatsu Unraimatsu Fuuraimatsu* Kuunerutokoro ni Sumutokoro* Yaburakouji no Burakouji* Paipopaipo Paipo no* Shuuringan Shuuringan no* Guurindai Guurindai no* Ponpokopii no Ponpoko-not!**

I've been wanting to do this song since I translated the title, which is due to the fact the name “Jugemu” was in it. That's right, Jugemu Jugemu Gokou no Surikire Kaijarisuigyo no Suigyoumatsu Unraimatsu Fuuraimatsu Kuunerutokoro ni Sumutokoro Yaburakouji no Burakouji Paipopaipo Paipo no Shuuringan Shuuringan no Guurindai Guurindai no Ponpokopii no Ponpokonaa no Choukyuumai no Chousuke *deep breath* is a name. It's from this Japanese folktale, and unlike the name, I'll try to keep my explanation of it brief. There once was a couple who just had a son, but they were unsure of what to name him. So, they went to the temple and asked the Priest for a suitable name, and he suggested several that began with “Jugemu”. The father was still unable to decide, and wound up giving all of the suggested names to his son. This page long name, of course, causes a lot of problems, some versions tell of a time where the child falls into a river, and by the time the parents find out he's almost dead due to the amount of time it took for everyone relaying the message to recite his name.
For those interested, here's the full name, since the song doesn't actually say it all, as well as it's many meanings: Jugemu Jugemu (limitless life, limitless life) Gokou no Surikire (five eons of wear) Kaijarisuigyo no (benefits like the grains of sand in the sea and fish in the water) Suigyoumatsu Unraimatsu Fuuraimatsu (where water goes to, where clouds come from, where wind comes from) Kuunerutokoro ni Sumutokoro (a place to eat and sleep, a place to live) Yaburakouji no Burakouji (the path's ardisia japonica) Paipopaipo Paipo no Shuuringan Shuuringan no Guurindai Guurindai no Ponpokopii no Ponpokonaa no (each is an invented name of a kingdom and a member of a royal family in China. Paipo was the kingdom, Shuuringan was the king, Guurindai was the queen, and Ponpokopii and Ponpokonaa were the princesses.) Choukyuumai no Chousuke (a life of permanence, blessed for a long time)
Here's something I wasn't expecting in a song called “Jugemu Sequencer”, Project DIVA gameplay references! It mentions pressing the ▲×●■ buttons, and if you play the extreme version of the song the notes actually follow what the lyrics say when it mentions specific button presses. It also talks about filling the Life Gauge (or in this case the Happy Gauge) by hitting the buttons, or loosing Life by missing a note. It also says to “hold all the buttons”, a reference specifically for Project DIVA Arcade, and now the PS4 port, where it's possible to have a four note hold. The reason why? Well, back when the Arcade game was new, there was a song contest, and this was one of the winning entries.
Miku starts to say “Ponpokonaa” but instead says “Ponpokonanchate” which basically means “Ponpoko-just kidding” because she avoids completing the name again. I tried to keep the word play and meaning by using “Ponpoko-not”.
