(in all seriousness kaito was supposed to represent classic, traditional ideals of art that supposedly priorities technical ability while daiya was supposed to represent bold conceptual ideas of modern art with seemingly no regard for its basic foundations, and their conflict is meant to be about how no matter how hard you try you fundamentally cant divorce one from the other)
