Aww thank you so much!! LJ is not abandoned by any means whatsoever. I'm in graduate school right now and just super busy with my studies and sadly don't have time or brain power for writing 😔 so it is on a brief hiatus until my winter break in December! I'm hoping to get at least one update in around Christmas, or even a couple.

Also sorry if you asked me this on Q!! Since the loss of social functions I don't spend any time on there now except when I get an update ready to post. Tumblr will be the space to watch for any news about fic updates, on Q or my AO3 which is the same username as everywhere else.

Welcome to the Inkwood 🖋🍁

I'm Vixen, the host and curator of this blog, and the author vixenink on AO3. The Inkwood is my loving name for my corners of the internet, where I nurture and share my creativity.

I am first and foremost a writer at my heart. I write original fiction and poetry, but also fan fiction. My main fandom is X-Men, but I also deeply adore Phantom of the Opera and dabble in some other fandoms, too - feel free to ask about my further interests. I love to create original characters, such as Erika, who features in some stories on my AO3. Posts about my writing can be found under #vixen in ink!

I am Goth, though largely view myself still as baby bat, though I've been in the subculture for over a decade. As such, much of my tumblr contains gothic content. If that is not your cup of tea, you're welcome to travel elsewhere 🖤

That said, I don't stick to only a few topics. I am also a lover of animals, books, and art of all kinds, which will also be recurring themes to my posts. I'll also repost content I find entertaining, or educational. So, if you stick around, you'll be getting all kinds of stuff!

You know, I started writing Leather Jacket for 2 people: my X-Men rp partner Rose (it's biggest fan) and me. But today I had 2 comments on my new update from people saying how much it made their day better. It's so wild how the things we love and make for ourselves still find others who love it too.

All this to say I'm Extremely motivated so might work out the next chapter soon. Logan in Alaska, here we come!

God I miss leather jacket right now. I am hoping I pass an exam before Thanksgiving so I get some extra days for that break and can at least get started if not finish the next update.
