Thom could almost imagine himself back at Kaer Seren, sharpening his blades while murmuring a bawdy tavern song under his breath. Vivienne lounged on a chaise not too far away, a cup of her favored Erveluce in one hand and a grimoire in the other. Any moment now, their young ward would burst in, training swords still on his back and grinning from ear to ear, excited to tell them all about the new maneuver he’d just tried —

“I’ve not heard from Sebastian in a while,” Vivienne spoke, drawing the witcher away from his memories.

He regarded her warily. “You weren’t reading my mind, were you?”

finally finished the first chapter of the VivWall/SebHawke Witcher AU, but now I face the problem of having no fucking idea where the story goes from here

the rough thing about the VivWall Witcher AU is that it’s largely just a bunch of cool scenes I had in my head, but no real plot to connect them all

like there’s a vague plot but it’s very much secondary to the character stuff and i wonder if that makes it weaker
