Many spoilers ahead because I for some reason felt very inclined to write about it.

I just finished watching Vivaldi, The Red Priest (2009) and I loved it more than I thought I would~~♡

Not a huge fan of the ending though (spoiler alert: he dies) and not a huge fan of Laura dying as well. I'm just ughhhhagshshsj no

I was convinced that she actually was still alive and I would see her again but no. This movie is cruel. I'm sure it's that guy who killed her. I don't know his name, but the one who has no chill and is just a villain. I can't find his name anywhere.

This guy!! Anyway I'm certain he was responsible for her death because he's a jealous prick.

But anyway, the music was lovely (as expected) and the musicians in the film looked super professional and really knew their stuff ♡

I appreciate the the level of detail they put into the film. It was obviously very well researched. Of course, there were a few artistic liberties every once in a while (there is no evidence to suggest that Vivaldi ever performed in Versailles, or even visited it for that matter; at least I don't think so...), but overall it was a pleasant experience.

The quality of the movie wasn't that great. The scenes were choppy, the perfomance scenes (despite having musicians who seemed to know what they were doing) was awkward, and the acting was not great. There wasn't much of a plot, especially once Laura was out of the picture. However, it's about Vivaldi and that's all that matters to me.

Oooooh and that scene where they played La Follia when that loser was simping for Laura?? That was amazing. But they cut it so short!! I felt like they could've done so much more there!! They could've used the piece to accentuate Viv's jealousy but they didn't... It was a missed opportunity.

But like Laura?? Why u like that?? Does she even listen to my man, Viv (i s2g they picked such a handsome actor for Vivaldi I just hhhhhhhh it's too much)? He was always like "I became a priest because it was the only way for a poor boy to get a proper education." And then she's like "I'm pregnant with your child, but the priesthood matters so much to you lol so I'm just going to stay here and raise our son while you continue being a servant of God and not get to see him at all."

Why you doing that?? Do you even know him? Bro I s2g. I like Laura, she's great and really smart, but man did she ever fuck up bad. They could've been so happy together ♡♡♡ Like I know they wanted to make the movie like as historically accurate as possible, but I am still upset. Why won't you humour me and just let them be happy?? For the plot!! For the feels!! Why can't we diverge from the canon??

I'm sad

But I enjoyed the movie nonetheless ♡

Help finding a movie?

All right, those of you better at hunting down movies than me. I'm trying to find the original English version of the 2009 movie Vivaldi, the Red Priest. There's a weird dubbed Russian version over on YouTube but being that I don't understand Russian it's about two hours of senseless stuff to me. (I can still tell that this probably isn't a great movie, but it appears to at least be a mild step up from the 2006 Vivaldi, Prince of Venice dear God that movie.) I can't seem to find a dvd version of this movie anywhere so I'm not sure if it never actually got released or what. If anyone can find this for for download and it's legit, I would really love to have a copy. Or if you know where I can actually find a dvd, let me know? Message me if you can help thnx~

The Antonio Vivaldi Carousel

This is for @vanessafangirl13 , @vivaldifollia , arbre333 from Deviantart, etc.

When I was little, I did a drawing of Harold (From Harold and the Purple Crayon by Crockett Johnson) going fishing in a carousel along with a porcupine. I thought about adding some fanart crossovers to spice things up. This is like a game show, but it is not competitive at all. Both teams are keeping track of the song by Vivaldi that is playing. The fishers are catching for music and the fishing rods can go through the carousel.

The Carousel is a music player that plays the Vivaldi edition I Musici opuses.

For Vivaldi Edition Volume 1, Concerto is playing the segments of the music, Harold is fishing for the music, and the team members include characters from Ready Jet Go and Coco: Carrot Propulsion, Celery Propulsion, Jet Propulsion, Sean Rafferty, Sydney Skelley, Mindy Melendez, Sunspot Propulsion, Imelda Rivera, Héctor Rivera, Miguel Rivera, and Rosa Rivera.

Here are some OCs of mine from the film Vivaldi the Red Priest (2009). The boy on the left is Antonio Vivaldi Jr. Although he is an official character from the film that was introduced, he was not shown at all. So technically, Antonio Vivaldi Jr, is considered to be an OC by me. Concerto Vivaldi and Sonata Vivaldi are twins. Concerto is the boy in the middle and Sonata is the girl on the right.

Note that Antonio Vivaldi Jr looks just like his father due to his hair, but Concerto and Sonata have a mix of blonde from Laura Padovan's hair with their red hair. These siblings also have green eyes,like most redheads in general (no offense intended).
