Viton sheet is a variety of high oil resistance, flame retardant, high temperature resistance, corrosion strong seals, sealing rings, cylinder membrane lining and aerospace, aviation field used products. Fluorine rubber is mainly used in automobile and motor vehicle industry, because of its excellent high temperature resistance, oil resistance and medium resistance, it is mainly used as oil seal and O-ring. Fluorine rubber has high chemical stability and is the best medium resistance of all elastomers at present. Type 26 fluororubber resistant to petroleum based oil, diester oil, silicone ether oil, silicone acid oil, inorganic acid resistance, resistance to most organic, inorganic solvents, drugs, etc., only low molecular ketone, ether, ester, not resistant to amine, ammonia, hydrofluoric acid, chloronic acid, phosphate hydraulic oil. The medium performance of type 23 fluorine glue is similar to that of type 26, and has more unique features. It has better resistance to inorganic acids with strong oxidation, such as fuming nitric acid and concentrated sulfuric acid, than type 26, and its volume expansion is only 13%~15% when it is impregnated in 98% HNO3 for 27 days at room temperature. Application: Fluorine rubber seals, when used for engine sealing, can work at 200℃~250℃ for a long time, at 300 and short-term work, its working life can be the same as the engine repair life, up to 1000~5000 flight hours (time 5~10 years); Used in the chemical industry, can seal inorganic acid (such as 67% sulfuric acid at 140℃, concentrated hydrochloric acid at 70℃, and 30% nitric acid at ℃), organic solvents (such as chlorinated hydrocarbons, benzene, high aromatic gasoline) and other organic matter (such as butadiene, styrene, propylene, phenol, fatty acids at 275℃, etc.); For deep well production, it can withstand harsh working conditions of 149℃ and 420 atmospheres. When used for superheated steam seals, it can work in steam medium of 160~170℃ for a long time. In the production of monocrystalline silicon, commonly used fluorine rubber seals to seal high temperature (300℃) under the special medium - trichlorosilicon, silicon tetrachloride, gallium arsenide, phosphorus trichloride, trichloroethylene and 120℃ hydrochloric acid, etc. Read the full article

Gasket Sheet Material
A gasket is a seal that is used to cover the gap between 2 or additional mating areas on a machine with the aim of reducing leaks when the machine parts are compressed. Gasket material is ideal for surfaces on a machine part that mate, preventing irregularities. Gaskets sheet are typically made by cutting from sheet resources.
GSM/Gasket sheet material is classically produced from a flat fabric, usually a sheet counting paper, rubber, fiberglass, cork, neoprene, silicone metal, nitrile rubber, polytetrafluoroethylene (also recognized as Teflon or PTFE) or a PP/plastic polymer (such as polychlorotrifluoroethylene).
Gasket sheet or gasket material has the ability to endure high compression and temperatures, which makes it very useful and efficient in industries, automobiles, and several machines that exhibit high temperatures and compressive forces. Several industrial gasket materials use bolts that exert compression that is as high as fourteen Mpa (PSI/2000) or even higher. As a matter of fact, there are many statements that ensure the excellent functioning of gasket sheet materials; with one of the most trusted being "The additional compressive load applies on the gasket, the longer it will previous".
There are many means of measuring a gasket sheet’s effectiveness at withstanding compressive loading forces. One of the most common and effective is the [HCT/hot compression test]. Most create of gasket materials usually outline the outcomes of these tests.
Let’s now take a look at one of the most popular gasket sheet materials, viton sheet.
Viton sheet is a type of artificial rubber plus fluoropolymer elastomeric usually used in O/rings, CR/chemical-resistant ornament, and additional molded or extruded products. Viton may be differentiated from other types of gasket sheet materials by typical green or brown color. However, a more reliable way of differentiating viton from other gasket sheets is that it has a density of over 1,800 kg/m3, which is way higher than most other types of rubber. Viton is safe and less likely to decay in situations where oxygen levels are high.
Viton sheet is highly recommended for use in automobiles and other means of transportation that use high levels of biodiesel. According to research into Viton sheet, types B plus F (GBL-FKM-S as well as FKM-GFS) are found to have better opposed to AB/acidic biodiesel, likely because of the unstable nature of biofuel.
In conclusion, there are ways of improving the gasket sheet materials to improve the operations condition of machines and engines to ensure longevity.
