Morro Bay overlook off Highway 46 in California. Taken from the same location as previous photo. I lovey home area after spring rains when the Santa Lucia coastal mountains turn green, the sky turns blue, the sun shines and the ocean calls me home. We had a surprise visitor and a very last minute drive to Cambria. Cynthia's university roommate and maid of honor at our wedding was passing through on their way home to BC Canada after a Mexican cruise for spring break. Haha On our way home after with the green hills I had to get #3stacksandarock from the highway looking down @morrobayca @visitcalifornia If I have my local history correct the Native tribe, the Chumash Indians, called the extinct Volcano Morro Rock The protector of the bay and this smaller rock next to it was the protector of the rock.
