Wow! What a day yesterday was. Got up early to do something, I have not trained for the way I normally would. Longest I ran before this was 10 miles. But, I managed to get it done~ ✔️ 26.2 miles = a marathon. Quite a distance and it is daunting. I’m so thankful for the friends that put this together. John and Jim for organizing it. Mark and Brandy for putting out the fallen soldiers for the blue mile. For Heather, Janice and her friend for riding the course and being such an amazing support crew. When I made the turn around and just finished my water, Janice appeared to save save me. Rode with me for about a mile. To the rest of the striders for your unconditional support! To Holly, who changed from the half to the full to run with Trecia (who is such an inspiration to all of us). To Angel for running every 👏 single 👏 runner 👏 in! To Jaz who ran out to make sure no one was left behind. I am lucky to call you all my friends~ Thank you all for the support. I thoroughly enjoyed yesterday.
