31 for 31 2021 Day 22 Movie: Goodnight Mommy(2014) This movie was an absolute mind fuck! You start off the movie thinking that the mother is some kind of ill-tempered child abuser. Mother(played by Susanne Wuest) returns home to her twin boys, after living through some sort of accident. But then the bandages come off and the roles of protagonist and antagonist are flipped. After Mother’s recovery, the boys begin plotting against her. Lukas and Elias believe that their mother returned home an imposter. After some light mom napping and a pinch torturous interrogation added in for good measure. We kind of figure out that one of the boys died in the accident and the other twin is still communicating with him. As a whole, I thought it was a cool flick. Had some trouble with this drawing and had to start it over a couple times.
