Advanced Twinkles from a recent #suzukiviolin #groupclass #violinconcert As a grand finale, our #youngviolinists performed #twinkletwinklelittlestar in multiple keys and multiple rhythms. The key and rhythm assignments were decided on stage by the performers just seconds before the performance, so the exact assignments were not rehearsed ahead of time! We enjoy these transposition and rhythm games in our weekly #violinclasses Games like this encourage curiosity and keep us “on our toes” with listening closely to each other because we don’t know exactly how it’s going to sound ahead of time! Note: These activities are quite advanced (the players on stage are all book 4 and above) and require a commitment to regular review of all #suzukiviolinmethod core repertoire pieces over many years. Such a coincidence ceritanya. Nonton konser biola sama Dwinda si gadis fotografer pulang pagi dr pondok ranji. A great list of this weeks’ violin concerts and recitals. 

I am particularly interested in the review of Alina Ibragimova performing Mendelssohn’s beautiful Violin Concerto in E Minor. 

Ibragimova is a violinist whose interpretations of Bach really opened my eyes to the possibility of powerful expression without relying solely on vibrato. 

"Tasteful and moderate in her vibrato, allowing herself few Romantic rubato indulgences, Ibragimova delivers not just a more classical Mendelssohn than many, but even one that reminds you of the composer’s role in resurrecting Bach himself."
