When Worlds Collide
Summary: Violet Harmon is new to Riverdale High and had caught the interest of none other than Reggie Mantle. Unfortunately, Violet doesn’t exactly seem to appreciate his advances and only wants him to leave her alone
Request: Yep! From a lovely little anon
A/N: this was interesting to write tbh! I never think about crossover ships and I haven’t written for either of these guys yet. Let me know what you think! It’s sort of set before the Southsiders join them, so she stands out more

Violet hadn’t been at her new school for more than three days and yet, she couldn’t seem to shake this guy. Reggie, he’d introduced himself the first time they’d met. He’d followed it with a cheesy pickup line about how she’d be screaming it later. She merely gave him a disinterested look and threatened to put her cigarette out on his arm.
Most of their interactions had been like that. Reggie, with one or two of his posse behind him, making advances at the girl, all of which she declined. She had no interest in the (in his mind) suave, handsome jock. She preferred to keep to herself and keep her head down; the less she got noticed, the better. With Reggie hanging around her, she was always noticed. By him. By his friends. By people who wondered who she was and why one of their Star football players seemed to like her so much. She couldn’t answer that question more than anyone else.
It just so happened that Violet got in the habit of skipping third period english, the class she shared with Reggie Mantle. She sat behind the school, leaning against the brick wall with a cigarette between her lips. It became sort of her safe haven. It was quiet, deserted. No one bothered her there. That is, until one fateful day reggie found her.
“Hey, Sweet thing,” came his drawl, lips curving up into a small smirk as he sat down next to her. Violet’s annoyance came out in a puff of smoke, aimed for Reggie’s face.
“What do you want?” She said, regretting even acknowledging his presence.
“You.” Reggie’s response was as flirtatious as ever, brown eyes sparkling with mirth. And maybe a little hope.
Violet just took another long drag from her cigarette, facing forward again. “Piss off, Mantle.”
Truthfully, she didn’t give a shit what he had to say. She had been content sitting there, in her own little world before he came along and wrecked it. All he ever did was hit on her and piss her off. Why would she want to have a conversation now?
He let out a loud, very dramatic yawn and draped his arm across her shoulders, triumphant smirk on his strong features. “Oh come on, pretty thing. What’s the harm in just-“ He was cut off by her glare.
“What do you want with me?” She demanded, eyebrows drawing together. Her angry expression was more of a pout, really, not that she quite recognized that. But it was. And Reggie was in no way intimidated.
“A date,” he answered honestly. “Just one.” Hopefully more. He seemed surprisingly honest for once, genuine hope in his glittering brown eyes. Violet couldn’t help but sigh, considering her options. He was kind of handsome. Kind of. And one date didn’t sound all that bad...she didn’t fully trust him, though. She’d have to watch him closely.
“Fine, Mantle. One date.” His brown eyes lit up at her words. “No sex, either. I want to be wined and dined.”
“And sixty-“
“No,” she said firmly, giving him a look. Reggie was pleased anyway. He’d gotten what he wanted. He leaned forward to press a kiss to her lips before fist pumping the air in triumph.
“Fuck yeah!”
A/N: alright! I hope this was what you wanted, anon! Let me know if I should do a part two of this for you guys.
