Nous voilà partis pour une station de skis en Utah, le comble du chic et du contemporain. Dans cette maison de l'Utah, l'architecture a fourni peu de repères de conception. La structure de 780 m2 et de six chambres à coucher a été construite sur mesure en 2018 dans un style conventionnel "moderne contemporain de montagne", comme le dit Henderson. Sa principale inspiration est venue des pics majestueux et des sapins imposants visibles à travers les fenêtres du sol au plafond, qu'il a vus lors de sa seule réunion sur place avec les clients, en 2019. 1 . Henderson designed the honeycomb-form light fixture installed over the dining room’s Damien Gernay table and Ruemmler chairs; the vintage bar cart along the wall is by Edward Wormley. 2 . In the rec room, a Liz Nielsen painting joins a pair of vintage ceramic lamps on bespoke Severin Hansen–style tables; 3 . A glass mosaic work by Shahzia Sikander pops against the living room’s blackened-steel fireplace surround in a Park City, Utah, vacation home renovated by Shawn Henderson.  4 . A grid of works by Thiago Rocha Pitta spans a wall behind the study’s metal-and-travertine desk, which is joined by a vintage Pierre Jeanneret chair and topped by a circa-1960s Lisa Johansson-Pape lamp; the Paavo Tynell chandelier is circa 1940s, and the rug is by FJ Hakimian. 5 . A ceramic wall installation by Maren Kloppmann presides over the primary suite. 6 . In the primary bath, which features a marble floor by Bedrosians, a Josef Hoffmann chandelier hangs above the Apaiser tub with Rohl fittings #Repost @galeriemagazine This ski getaway in Utah conceptualized by designer @ShawnHenderson features chic and contemporary furnishings to complement the residence's stunning views. abt a month ago i saw an antique wheelchair at an antique shop and i was like omg omg i need this for my house like for furniture.... but it was super expensive..... but the other day i found one at a thrift shop but its not quite as old and beautiful so its just kind of strange to have it in my living room. the one i wanted was gorgeous wood with a cane back and this one is old vintage but its just metal. i wouldnt have even looked twice at it if i hadnt lusted after the antique one so bad earlier. i was w my mom and she was like no u could like switch the seat for wood shelves and use it as a very weird bar cart
